With SPFL having been voted through, Rangers will not now be able to play TRIALISTS before first September. {The Ed039's Note - Why TRIALISTS in capital letters, and good, nobody can accuse the team of cheating or exploiting loopholes etc when they romp whatever the division will be called next season, because lets face it, its not going to make a difference)

What did the small fish say in the tinybpond? "We're going to romp this. "

Agree0 Disagree0

It could have a big impact on the other teams, that's my problem with it

let's be honest, we could lose every game until September, we won't, but it wouldn't matter a jot

the real wee teams are the ones who will lose out

Agree0 Disagree0

Don't think it's been rubber stamped yet so it maybe that trialists will be able to play

Agree0 Disagree0

@3 I am sure your friends will delay the decision to let you play your "trialists"! They did that with the transfer ban didn't they!

Agree0 Disagree0

Op -if it is a new organisation then they wil need to make up a new set of rules, or is that not the case?

JG

Agree0 Disagree0

N4 was that the illegal transfer ban or have we missed something

Kiegan Parker says he wants to see what's under the hood at Rangers, hopefully this means time is up for all the crooks and charlatans and we can get back to being a football club.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Keigan Parker? Who used to play for St. Johnstone, then another 14 clubs after that? Currently turning out for Shettleston juniors!

What the duck has he got to do with anything lol

Kieron Prior ya clown

I see the Hearts board are now admitting that the loss of Rangers has had a major influence on their finances. That despite Romanov's vicious attack last summer, who should have been hauled before the SPL/SFA for his comments, but needless to say they did f all.

At last somebody is pointing out the bloody obvious.

My initial thought was to say "hell mend you" but really Scottish football cannot afford to lose Hearts. I just hope that at least their fans will understand what we have been through and perhaps not be so self righteous should another club be involved in a situation like this.

The problem was that the fans, our rivals made the decision to put us into div three, not the clubs and that is a dangerous precedent. To get their dig they did what they did, but now are reaping the rewards.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Hell mend them. hmmmm they went down the same road as rangers, letting a" SUGA DADDY" be in sole control. at least they are selling players too pay off bills. not like the toxic rangers brand, that screwed 274 honest buitvesses, out with the TAX CASE.

Agree0 Disagree0

What about the clubs in the SFL? They were all asked to vote Rangers into D1 but didn't or did you forget that, OP?

Agree0 Disagree0

@ 2 rangers fans never wanted in division 1, that's was the SPL clubs trying to to minimise the impact on them.

Agree0 Disagree0

Hearts financial problems are due to Romanov's overspending, nothing else.

Agree0 Disagree0

Sorry bears but I do wish we would stop the Hearts bashing. Sure I know what you will moan about but a lot of the real Hearts fan I know did phone me with geniune sympathy on our plight. let's just rise above it.

Agree0 Disagree0

Spending money they didn't have was the problem. You know the story.

Agree0 Disagree0

Your a bitter wee man and now without rangers the spl are finished hearts blown away next up killie and the list will go on integrity my arse

Agree0 Disagree0

Truth is two spl clubs go yo wall bith with ebt scandals and yet man who ran both voted sfa president.

well done ogilvie

Agree0 Disagree0

Its crying time now for hearts theyr going down big style

Agree0 Disagree0

Ya keep blaming Celtic and not the people running the show of the former club op, and I'm sure the fans following the leaders spending money with no care helped. Always someone else and never you eh, keep blaming others to ease the hurt

Now that hearts have said they are going to sell there squad what is the chances of us getting Danny Wilson back.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

No chance. We can't buy anyone until January at earliest.
Wilson signed perm deal with hearts so they will be entitled to a fee for him. I'm surprised a bigger club hasn't come in for him to be honest.
I think he could def do a job for a championship club.

Agree0 Disagree0

Yeah, Hearts have said that they will sell any player in a hope of avoiding liquidation. Why didn't Rangers do that? This isn't a dig.

Agree0 Disagree0

@2. Exactly! Whyte should have had a fire sale in Jan 2012. But instead he chose to do nothing except pocket the jelavic money. So when the fool's come on here saying whyte tried to save rangers and if it weren't for malmo result rangers wouldn't have gone bust, it really does annoy me. Whyte had 2 windows to get rangers financed on an even keel but he chose to offer big long contracts to several players in first window then lead ally and the fans a merry dance with numerous trialists in the second window. Whyte is and was the problem. He chose not to pay tax. No one else.

Agree0 Disagree0

ally was left with 6 players just wait and watch what happens to hearts shortly

Agree0 Disagree0

@2 your asking the wrong people, go find crag whyte and ask him, if you do find him dial 999, there's a warrant out for his arrest.

Agree0 Disagree0

3. 'Whyte is and was the problem. '

Yeah mate everything was tickety when SDM decided to sell him one of Europe's most successful and best supported clubs. for the same price as 2 2nd class stamps!

Agree0 Disagree0

I am #2. I am a Celt. I realise you have been majorly screwed by SDM, CW & CG. But look at your actions against these people. Non-existent. When the sh*t hit the fan you still tried to sign Cousin. After this Wylde left voluntarily. You could have sold millions of pounds worth of players (£15mil at least). But due to liquidation they were not yours to sell. Doesn't make sense. Sorry. You keep listening to people instead of being the people. Ironic really.

Agree0 Disagree0

@6. Paid income tax and ni though. Which if you recall sent us down. Not big tax case which is what whyte blamed. Yes debt was big but coming down. Sdm was no angel but as has been said before. Whyte didn't have to buy us. He chose to. He is to blame. Businesses get bought and sold for a pound many times. But if your any good you'll make it work. Whyte didn't.

Agree0 Disagree0

@8 SDM bought RFC for £6million, took debt up to £72m, sold for £-18m and killed RFC stone dead.

Whyte bought a basket case - and tried to resusitate RFC as debt-free newco via admin/liquidation - plan was in year 2-3 - but euro failures meant it happened sooner than expected.

Green snatched debt-free RFC and sold it for £22m and may have got away with it.

Smith (Ebt) now chairman as second admin/liquidation looms - only hope is more ST money and that this stays to run club. not goes in legal or payoff to whyte.

tapes reveal all. 2 hours of tapes and whyte is clearly trying to save RFC not sell it down the river.

@9 Debt was coming down? You refer to the debt that was owed only to the BANK. Not the £65m that was owed to other creditors! And that's if we ignore the potential debt to hmrc which, of fourse, has still to be decided. All that debt was still there and not budging. let's no be daft, we were stuffed by sdm and doomed before whyte had even heard of us.

Agree0 Disagree0

Whyte effectively bought Rangers for 18m. If he hadn't agreed to pay of Lloyds then the deal wouldn't't have gone through. Do you really think if that debt didn't exist he'd have got the business for a quid?

Agree0 Disagree0

Give us a breakdown of the 65 million

If that's true about Walter, and I would say its already proven that fat Sally is milking it, I would reckon if that comes out that would be the final sickener for most Gers. It would be like me finding out TB was only in it for the money. I genuinely hope it's not true, I'm as sick as seeing your club (fans) shafted. HH joe
