Starting with dundee on saturday, i think we'll go on a good run and get maximum points,
from our next 5 league games! Undoubtedly that has to be our aim and is very realistic, IMO. I also will give our former winger, neil mccann, a very warm welcome, when he brings his dundee team, to ibrox, on saturday.
I have nothing but praise for wee neily! He was a terrific left winger for us! He also spoke highly of his time at rangers and stuck up for us bigtime, when the rest of scottish football and their fans, wanted us stripped of league titles! When he comes off the dundee bus on saturday, i most certainly will be applauding him for his efforts in his 5/ 6 years, as a glasgow rangers player! I still think and hope that neil mccann will turn things around at dundee and become a really good manager, that i truly believe is in him.

Coop, good post and can’t wait for Saturday 🇬🇧.

13 Sep 2018 20:14:00
Coop another great post.
I can’t wait to get back to some proper football this weekend.
So different from last year, this year I actually look forward to going to see the famous.
I also agree our next 5 league games are very winnable.
#LETS GO.

13 Sep 2018 21:02:49
Agree supercooper great servant for the club. let's hope the board look after him and the others left with these EBT tax bills they didn't expect.

13 Sep 2018 21:36:58
One game at a time Coop starting on Saturday and can’t wait.
Great comments re Neil McCann and couldn’t agree more. Still love the goal where he skips away from the Celtic defence, rounds the keeper and we win the league at the piggery.

13 Sep 2018 23:01:44
I've met the wee guy a couple of times and although a former self confessed dark side fan, he genuinely does now love our club and raves about our fans as well as his time at Ibrox. Much to the annoyance of his family so much so that most of them have disowned him. A really good guy and imo a great player. Wish he was playing just now.

13 Sep 2018 23:02:25
Some great moments in his career with the famous, and a great wee guy, as was his dad, Eddie, who sadly passed away recently. Him and his mum loved coming to Ibrox and were so proud of their boy playing for the Rangers.

14 Sep 2018 01:34:47
The Seeker, what rubbish, his parents were very proud when he played for us, I know two of his cousins (women) and both, while still supporting Celtic, were chuffed to bits for him and I sat beside another cousin when he scored for us in the De Kuyp Stadium against Feyenoord. He was overjoyed and loved him so much he had actually travelled abroad to see him even though he was a dhim.

14 Sep 2018 06:16:39
Totally agree with both Pdot and dutycalls! Wee neil mccann's mum and dad were most definitely proud of wee neily, playing for rangers! I met his dad eddie once, outside the wee rangers club, at the away end at ibrox. Lovely gentleman, who was very proud of his son neil, playing for rangers! The 4 of us spoke to eddie and he told us he was proud and was supportive of his son neil, playing for us, god rest his soul, really lovely man! He came and watched neil regularly at ibrox!

14 Sep 2018 07:50:47
Supercooper

Kenny Miller will also be at Ibrox tomorrow I hope you will give him a warm welcome too.

14 Sep 2018 07:53:29
wee ‘terry’ was a fantastic player for the Rangers

one of best crossers of the ball we’ve ever had

3 highlights for me

delivery for de boer volley near post 3-2 vs them at ibrox
delivery for lovenkrands cup final 3-2 in 90th min

and of course 2 goals at parkhead day we won the league

absl brilliant !

14 Sep 2018 09:38:54
Whoa guys, I think the problem mostly lay with the brother who apparently ran the supporters bus from Greenock? Maybe got a bit carried away with the most of the family bit! Great wee guy though I think you'd agree! 👍👍.

14 Sep 2018 11:27:11
Great post Coop.

14 Sep 2018 12:40:10
Going to say I think Stevie was overhyped by us and the media and even though we got through to the Europa league by the skin of our teeth and will get a few quid for that, we will be out of that (as a timco poster says on here) after a couple of games. Yes it is early in the domestic season but to be in 7th place! . Remember the unbeaten run means nothing, how many have we won comfortably, NONE. So "lets go" tomorrow and the next 4 and more.

14 Sep 2018 12:50:49
Of course I'll give kenny miller a good welcome tomorrow, arthur D!

14 Sep 2018 16:31:23
That’s good mr Supercooper.

I see lad Stephen Kelly given three year deal at Rangers, this boy is excellent.

13 Sep 2018 17:25:46
Seen abit of him he does look good but chances in that central area will be very few and far between, get him out on loan barjonas is another cracker who ticks all the boxes for me as a central midfielder.

13 Sep 2018 18:20:37
As a prospect, Kelly is a lot better than Barjonas and I can see him pushing hard for a place in the senior squad next season.

13 Sep 2018 21:04:39
Kelly is by far the best young player to come through since Ferguson.

13 Sep 2018 22:13:58
Kelly def has a chance Jboy and I agree he’s a standout at his age group, however, BIlly Gilmour has been the best young player by miles to come through and Harry Cochrane at Hearts who we released wasn’t far behind him.

14 Sep 2018 01:38:46
We didn't release Cochrane, he asked to go, in fact he demanded to go. Kelly will be better than Cochrane and Gilmour could still get lost in the Chelsea system.

14 Sep 2018 10:13:43
really don't think gilmour will get lost in the chelsea system. he's doing well down there and I think will become a huge player.

14 Sep 2018 11:26:47
I agree re Cochran and gilmour won't get lost.
Kelly as good as gilmour.

14 Sep 2018 16:35:29
Do you think Gilmore will get a chance a Chelsea?
Very much doubt it and they will move him on and probably get a few bob for him as that’s what they do🇬🇧.

14 Sep 2018 17:49:57
Yateky they hav him training with first team regularly
Back room staff say best young player in last twenty years.

14 Sep 2018 19:39:17
Cochrane was told that he wouldn’t be played in his best position as Gilmour was first choice. He was told he was free to leave if he so wished and did so to enhance his chances, so technically you are correct as he wasn’t released tho coaching staff didn’t want him to go. As for Gilmour at Chelsea, aye he may not end up a regular at Chelsea but this lad is going to be special and a Scotland first pick if he progresses at rate he’s going. He’s outstanding and considered one of the best in Europe at his age. Personally I think he could end up being better than Fergie.

Looking like rossiter. Dorrans. Wallace Coulibaly all fit . rossiter. Coulibaly. jack and Arfield in the same team . wow.

13 Sep 2018 07:28:44
Dorrans is fit but still has pain when he kicks the ball, which doesn't sound fit to me. Rossiter is probably a week to 10 days away from being fit 😒 as per usual.

Nice to see coulibaly fit again though.

13 Sep 2018 10:52:19
A week to 10 days to be fit must mean he is about 2-3 weeks away fr9m getting injured.

13 Sep 2018 12:42:42
Jack has been poor since the Aberdeen game. Started the season well with a couple of standout performances but if I had to pick a 3 man midfield he's be behind Coulibaly, Arfield, Rossiter, Dorrans and Ejaria in that order.

13 Sep 2018 13:05:56
😂😂😂 thank **** SG is picking.

13 Sep 2018 13:56:34
JM22 you say Jack has been poor since the Aberdeen game. Aberdeen were the FIRST game of the season so how can he be poor yet still have a couple of standout games, doesn’t really make much sense 🤨 Jack, Coulibaly and Arfield would be our first choice midfield three every time for me when all are fit 🇬🇧.

13 Sep 2018 14:35:58
When all are fully fit the squad will be looking pretty good. Would have liked another striker but that’s just maybe being a wee bit greedy!

13 Sep 2018 15:10:35
Dorrans fit but it hurts when he kicks a ball?
Does anybody see the fatal flaw in that diagnosis?

13 Sep 2018 16:56:56
Jack coulibly and arfield mid 3 all day long.

13 Sep 2018 20:47:13
For me airfield hasn’t done much. Jack coulibally and ejaria for me in the central role.

14 Sep 2018 12:11:47
Our season started in July and we played 4 European ties before Aberdeen so my point makes perfect sense BJ. Jack was excellent home and away to Osijek and played well in the Aberdeen game before going off injured but he's been average since he's returned. Anyone who think otherwise must be watching a different player.
