Tom Bradshaw has a signed a three year deal with Barnsley? Yes Barnsley.

I am disappointed about him not signing for RFC, but I am more disappointed that as afar ambition goes Tom Bradshaw does not appear to have any, Barnsley?

14 Jul 2016 23:19:54
The fee was always going to be the problem mate.

14 Jul 2016 23:30:05
Did Rangers ever show any interest in him? Can't imply he chose Barnsley over Rangers and question his ambition unless you know otherwise . Good luck to the lad.

15 Jul 2016 10:13:41
It was all over the papers that MW and RFC were interested. MW has stated time and time again that the interest has to be reciprocated, and if not he will move on to other players. I would take the view that the lad was not interested.

Anyway we move on to tomorrow's game - I for one will not be going even though it is on my doorstep.

15 Jul 2016 12:15:04
A doubt you will be missed anyway.

15 Jul 2016 12:48:01
MW nor anyone from Rangers never once said we were interested. Papers putting 2 + 2 together and getting 5.
I honestly think had we been in for him he would be here by now. The board backed the manager with MOH when a similar fee was involved. People being disappointed that we missed out on a player that we hadn't even registered an interest in baffles me.

15 Jul 2016 00:06:57
A fee of 650k was always going to be a problem that is terrifying for a club our size not being able to come up with that fee as that is what boy went to Barnsley for says a lot to our fans that we simply have no money.

14 Jul 2016 22:22:23
i think dodoo will be the only forward comin only need 1 more CH and the jigsaw is complete.

14 Jul 2016 23:22:35
I still think we need a bit more experienced striker although I would be delighted if we could still get the boy dodoo on a permanent deal as well.

15 Jul 2016 07:50:02
I can see the point your making here the blue-boy but from my own personal view I think we've got 2 experienced strikers in kenny miller and martyn waghorn, these 2 especially miller will be a tremendous help and great mentor to joseph dodoo if he does sign for us, we've got great attacking options at rangers and imo if we can sign another centre half ie. either mariappa or bougherra that will do us on the transfer front, really very happy and impressed with our signings and for not a lot of dough, in warbs, weir and mcparland we trust!

15 Jul 2016 09:09:53
I meant to say a more proven striker rather than experienced warbs someone like the boy Bradshaw who's just signed for Barnsley but I do see where your coming from with Miller and Waghorn, and totally agree with your central defender choices in Marriapa or Bogherra and also agree with your great summer transfer business comment, really looking forward to the new season.

14 Jul 2016 21:34:25
Our manager has touched on it and so have I, warbs has stated that moh has been amazing in training and superb against charleston when he came on for the 2nd half, he's now settled in and understands warburton's way of playing and the way he's expected to fit in to our team, make no bones about it fellow bears michael o'halloran is a very talented player and has everything in his locker to be a great rangers player, my statement is very clear on this as I'll state here and now that moh will be amazing for us this season, just watch this guy go, of course certain posters on here will say well I would say that as I'm biased towards moh as I know some family members, this is genuinely not the case fellow bears because imo moh is undoubtedly very talented and will prove this season anyone who doubted him and his ability to play for an institution the size of ours, WRONG!

14 Jul 2016 22:33:14
Well said WTF - His starting last season was a bit of media frenzy because of his background and who he had played for previously.

I hope he does well and wish him all the very best.

14 Jul 2016 23:29:49
I hope he does do something this coming season because he didn't get a decent run with him being cup tied last season and for what I saw of him last season he didn't do much for me, but I do understand he had to adapt to how we played which couldn't have been easy for him, but all the best to the lad this season I hope he does well.

15 Jul 2016 03:22:42
Would like to see Mckay, Waghorn, MOH our front three, MOH running teams into the ground then making way for other attacking players late on in games. Would also stop Tavernier from bombing down the right as much since he likes to stay on his right foot, which I think is a bonus tbh. Although he got us goals would prefer Tav to be more reserved this year and chose his moments more carefully going forward.

15 Jul 2016 06:44:01
I agree Warbs15. We will see a different player this year. Last season was stop start for him due to being cup tied meaning he was in and out of the team. I for one believe he will be one of our most important players this year and can't wait to see him get going. We have real competition for places now in the wide attacking roles so each of these players will be doing their best to stay in the team. Can't wait for season to start.

14 Jul 2016 20:28:00
Official rangers twitter page has just recently started following bougherra. Maybe nothing in it but could be coming back as cover.

15 Jul 2016 10:47:41
Bougherra? give me a break, he long finished. If you are looking for an ex player who would do a much better job then Carlos Bocanegra is your man.

14 Jul 2016 20:13:43
Jordan Ibe for £15 million.

The more you look at this possible deal for Joe Dodoo, the better it gets and the more Mcparland and Warburton seem more and more like the masters in their trade that they are.

£250 k comp deal, when odds are we may have had to pay £5 mill at least if we were an English Championship club.

14 Jul 2016 18:29:30
Mark McGhee saying Motherwell welcome Rangers into the league and the past is in the past.

Is he for real?! They voted us down and then the carry on after the play-off. What he means is they're skint and welcome the money that comes with Rangers games.

14 Jul 2016 20:15:20
Don't go!

14 Jul 2016 22:01:07
Here we go with the "they baddies voted us down", the fact if you open your eyes was liquidation, the sooner you accept that, the sooner you can move on with your life.

14 Jul 2016 22:23:22
Just let's deal with them in Saturday and move on.

14 Jul 2016 22:54:05
It might very well have been liquidation, but it didn't stop them all, Killie excluded, putting the boot in on our way don't. Won't be forgetting anytime soon.

15 Jul 2016 09:07:08
The only ones to have "stuck the boot in" is Whyte, green and Ahmed mate, and your delusional to think otherwise.

15 Jul 2016 10:38:34
They publicly took great relish in putting the boot in. All the "sporting integrity" pish.

14 Jul 2016 23:14:11
Memaself once other clubs admit to there history instead of sweepnig it under the carpet, they can come on here and tell us to get our house in order eh.

14 Jul 2016 17:43:54
Listening again to Barton speaking to sky sports. He really means business, not that I was doubting him, and he himself still thinks he's improving.

In my opinion Barton, Niko Krank, and Young Rossiter are a midfield dream. I have seen all three play now that I have watched Rossiter for the young England team.

We are certainly going to be treated this year and it's not even surprising the way season ticket sales have gone, Full house every home game. Wow,

And I think if the lad Dodoo signs a 3 or 4 year deal that I'm getting told will be done by weekend then maybe I was a bit hasty in saying it's not that great. It was that I just didn't want a loan deal, but if the guy has promise and Ghana and England are fighting over him, maybe mcp has pulled yet another one out of warbs magic hat. Good sell on value. Sometimes I like it when I'm wrong. Think it could be great business, happy bear.

Hold on wait a minute just one more centre back then I'm happy. I don't rate Wilson, never did, never will. Clumsy football player. I know a lot will disagree with my Wilson comments, but feel him, Wes and doppy Kiernan. Will eventually be gone, that was our weakness last season, Gilks should be number 1.

If a keeper can't come out with confidence and catch cross balls we will always be susceptible, to conceding set piece goals.

That's just my theory.

14 Jul 2016 19:17:49
Great post bar the Gilks no.1 bit. Fod will be a different animal if he gets some strong CBs in front of him.

14 Jul 2016 19:28:50
I have no worries whatsoever with our defence this year. Yes we will concede, that's for certain the way we play but I think once the new boys settle teams will really struggle to get the ball, including Celtic, Hearts and Aberdeen. We did it last year with a much lower standard personnel. With Barton, Kranjcar and Rossiter in the middle we will simply roll over teams. And the front lines shaping up nicely, plenty of competition and all players who can make a difference either from the start or as a sub. To think we could start a game with Mckay and Forrester on the flanks and finish with MOH and Windass or Waggy really excites me. Even the tightest packed defences in the SPFL will struggle to contain that for 90mins. Our fitness alone will grind most teams down.
Some managers just buy players for the sake of it and try and fit them in, every player we've brought in you can see exactly where they will slot in and why they have been signed. MW is a very shrewd man and exactly what we need right now. Rodgers will blow a fortune and take them nowhere like he did at Liverpool. This is as balanced a squad as we've had for as long as I can remember.
I must admit I don't agree with you regarding Wilson and Foz, I think the manager sees both as starters although I might be wrong. Wilson will look the part beside either Crooks or Hill. Kiernan will be back up for sure. Also be good to see Tav's reaction to having an international RB sitting on the bench.

14 Jul 2016 20:02:55
Great post Jay but disagree on Wilson and think the jury is out on Fod.

I recall how good Wilson was when sir Davie was by his side and he made the national team. He still has that quality. I don't believe that Wilson and Kiernan can play together and think Kiernan's game time this season will be limited. We still have the 4th CB targeted (come on Ball you are welcome) and believe Clint Hill and Wilson will be first choice pairing. Everything I hear about Crooks is positive and although know he can play CB think his main role will be HMF.

I expect Fod to have a great season and his distribution is as good as the German national keeper. Apart from a terrible goal he lost towards end of season (against Hibs in league I think) when he basically put the ball into own net I think he had a decent season. At 25 and with JS's coaching expect him to be better on cross balls this season. The weakness of the Kiernan -Wilson partnership badly exposed him last season just need to look again at the cup final goals conceded to see how weak the defensive cover was (including Tav) . No, I have faith in Fod although agree that if he starts the season badly we know have grown up competition in Gilks.

Really looking fwd to Saturday. Best to All.

14 Jul 2016 17:22:45
Bradshaw for Burnley.

14 Jul 2016 19:16:44
Barnsley! But yeah.

14 Jul 2016 20:17:53
There is no support to this whichever B team you are both posting about.

If any offers were put on the table we would have heard of it that is what the clubs do and definitely what the agents do.

So again a rumour without substance.

14 Jul 2016 16:04:47
Rangers would be better signing Billy King from hearts, imagine the shirts sales with this name on the back, maybe with a return to the glory days of the tangerine top?
Even after the MASH cut I reckon the return would be millions.
Bring on Gibraltar bears
Hail hail.

14 Jul 2016 16:31:34
Maybe Celtic should sign him and deluded Brenda can play him out of position and not even be embarrassed about it! but your fans won't notice they will just blame the weather or the pitch or maybe even uefa if your Chris old boy 02.

14 Jul 2016 17:05:44
Or we could go for Imps 1 Leprechauns 0.

14 Jul 2016 17:08:59
sign this person up for the edinburgh comedy festival.

14 Jul 2016 17:31:25
WORDS CAN NOT DISCRIBE.

14 Jul 2016 19:32:32
Away back to your island mate, did you send that post over by carrier pigeon before the Lincoln game or something? Seems rather foolish to be bringing it up after it. Your teams a world wide embarrassment.

14 Jul 2016 16:30:40
Good one matey, but I think your lot have more problems dealing with the amateur team from Gibraltar that actually horsed the 'tic. Rest assured the Bears are back and will be going for 55.get used to it and try to come to terms with it. P. S. how's Glossy keeping this weather? Ewe two still in love?

15 Jul 2016 19:54:02
Are you for real if tops sell for 50 quid then we make 50 pper top so for us to make millions then we have to sell hundreds of millions of tops. i defo won't be buying 1 till fatt cashley outa here.

14 Jul 2016 14:50:36
Joe Dodoo has been offered a 3 year deal by Rangers. likely to sign in next 48 hours.

14 Jul 2016 15:55:03
How do you know this, on the rumours page someone has said 4 years? and he at MP just now?

14 Jul 2016 16:23:45
Social media going mad with the info of a 3 year deal. could be 4 years who knows. However Dodoo is Ibrox Bound.

14 Jul 2016 17:06:47
There is nothing, nada, zilch on any news feeds or even other rumour sites - it is all BS!

14 Jul 2016 17:57:22
I heard there is truth to the 4 year deal offer, he is not right now at Murray park, but is still considering things but all signs look good, I think it will be done around the weekend! So a few of my mates are telling me, and I think it's going to become public knowledge soon that it's a perm deal.

Only passing on what I'm hearing through the grape vine, my friends have been more right than wrong, so let's just wait and see eh!

14 Jul 2016 19:08:46
Onlyshow. it would that it is only you who are doing the rounds nothing else.

Do wish people would stop making up stories for their own benefit.

Still no news on Tom Bradshaw going anywhere never mind RFC - and that is not a rumour that is a fact.

Still hoping that he sees the blues as his best fit.

14 Jul 2016 19:51:00
If he signs, then this will be the first time in a long time that Rangers have bought or found a young player with real potential to sell for millions, we have sat back and watched celtic doing it for years now. What were we doing? Fighting lowlife rats trying to destroy us, now maybe we really are fighting back, ? God bless Mr King 👑
Tommy.

14 Jul 2016 13:51:07
I Know we don't have all players fit yet and may have another few additions to make but this is our potential starting 11 v Selik if all goes well and everyone fit

Gilks

Tav Crooks Hill Wallace

Halliday Barton

Krank

Waggy McKay

Miller

Subs

Fod

Hodson
Kiernan
Wilson

Rossitier
Forrester
Holt

MOH
Windass
Hardie

Ohhhhhhh What a difference a year make.

Their is no doubt about it, we are in good shape, and Selik are in trouble, we shall rattle them on there own pitch, send there fans home Sick and Poor Brendan, no wonder its a 1 year rolling contract he got.

We have a young fit hungry team, we got some experience mixed in there now and we also got strength and depth, and all for the price of what £2million since MW arrived. The guy is sensational.

Roll on the start of this season. A new legend shall be made by the end of the season MW take a bow sir.

14 Jul 2016 14:19:24
I find it hard to believe that Halliday will be deployed in a defensive midfield role! He did ok as a holding midfield player but he is significantly better when played in a more attacking role.

I would expect to see Rossiter deployed alongside Barton with Halliday fighting it out for a starting role with Holt and Forrester.

I will also be surprised if Miller starts in most games.

14 Jul 2016 14:40:36
Don't think Miller will start any games, but I do think he will appear in most. He is the type of player who gives the team a burst of enthusiasm and vigour, especially when they go flat.

14 Jul 2016 14:54:14
We have so many options. You could well be correct. I am just saying for against Selik I would let Halliday in to do his thing, both him and Barton would give the real bite that we would need in the middle of the park in the Pigory. I would not put in a young boy with not much experience in the deep lying mid position against Selik after only a few weeks, that to much pressure on his. Rossie will have to be eased into things so that he is not overwhelmed by the pressure of playing for Glasgow Rangers.

The front 3 could easily be

Forrester MOH Windass

That to me is a very lethal fast and energetic front 3, again I think Selik will get ripped apart by our forward fast footballing style.

14 Jul 2016 15:34:09
Thank god you're not the manager or else we'd be finishing 7th.

14 Jul 2016 16:22:00
My team to face Hoopless Bhoys
Gilks

Hodson. Hill. Wilson. Wallace

Barton. Rossiter or Holt
Krancjar or Halliday

Waghorn or Doodo. Miller. McKay or Windass

Subs:
Wes GK
Tav
Kiernan
Crooks
MOH
Forrester
& the 4 we don't play from the 15 in starting line up plus 1 more CH
OMG what a squad we have.

14 Jul 2016 12:25:00
Any1 else think the guy that was running his mouth last week about Cummings being a dead cert and his source this and that should mayb apologise to all bears on here? Seemed very sure of himself and shot a lot of people down who didn't agree.

14 Jul 2016 13:26:12
He could be literally anyone, could not even be a Rangers fan just trying to take the piss because he has nothing better to do. That's why you need to establish yourself here and give yourself a bit of credibility before anyone will believe you. Usually with people like that they have made one post and that's the rumour so its usually a tell.

14 Jul 2016 13:56:40
You don't always believe the rumours but he said it was definitely happening I come on here for information and to put my opinion across about rangers related issues i'd never post lies so I think he's definitely not a Rangers man.

14 Jul 2016 15:08:11
Yeah I doubt if the Cummings post was a gers man, if he had chucked in a petrol station tale he would have been taken seriously. Warbs and his team have got us all guessing, I like it, would hate to play poker with these guys, roll on the start, soooo looking forward to it, the hat is forever majik, not forgetting his team, King David, King himself and frank, superb.

14 Jul 2016 16:32:42
I think it's funny how we are all on arguing about who will start here who will start there and there on arguing about who they want to go after that embarrassing performance the players value went down the toilet
We are bringing the momentum with us this season there's no pressure on us it's all on them.
Our squad have so much of a head start on every other team you would think we had important games I do agree with Wallace winning against the well will put down a marker.

14 Jul 2016 17:55:09
All down to Dave King 👑, always believed he was the only option for Rangers, we should remember Dave in first home game back, hero
Tommy.

14 Jul 2016 11:35:44
Does anyone know when the new kits are released?

14 Jul 2016 12:15:55
They won't be.

14 Jul 2016 13:12:04
don't hold your breath - would be surprised if any kit sold this season.

14 Jul 2016 13:26:53
The kits are technically released but no one has the rights to sell them therefore you don't have the right to buy one. It's complicated.

14 Jul 2016 13:31:38
Why would any rangers fan buy a strip when the fat man is taking the cash?

14 Jul 2016 14:13:34
The safest bet to ensure you get the newest strip whatever it is, is tae have yer grannie knit ye one.

14 Jul 2016 15:32:41
I know we can't buy any 2016-17 strips yet due to the badge/ crest issue but I was under the impression that was for all the merchandise and not just the kit. The reason I say this was because I decided to snoop in my local SD shop to see the Rangers spaces were kit should be and to my astonishment, they had 2015-16 strips and other merchandise for sale in the shop. This was in the Stirling shop, so I wonder how many other shops are still selling Rangers FC items or are they allowed to do this? If they are they not going to be that worried as still selling off the old stock.

14 Jul 2016 15:39:58
There are very good copies being sold on Facebook. Don't know site however I have seen home and away top and look very good. £25 each.

14 Jul 2016 11:22:32
What do you think of bringing Alex Pritchard on loan, attacking midfield who scores a lot of goals and excellent at dead ball delivery, we have a long hard season and harder games than last and may pick up injuries to key players, krankier, Barton or Rossiter also Peter crouch as back up for bigger games like Aberdeen or Hearts.

14 Jul 2016 12:32:38
Peter crouch get real terrifying that fans on here think peter crouch is answer to be our striker.

14 Jul 2016 19:47:26
Bit of a tall story. Sorry could not resist.

14 Jul 2016 10:03:31
What do you guys think about adam rooney think he coukd do well at the gers.

14 Jul 2016 11:21:34
Rooney at Aberdeen till 2018 so its a non starter considering we won't pay what Aberdeen would want for him.

14 Jul 2016 08:20:52
Guys, know it's a couple of days away but what do you think starting 11 will be Saturday at fir park.

13 Jul 2016 20:27:38
Just thinking about the possibility of us signing this highly rated young leicester striker joseph dodoo either permanently or on loan, we're constantly linked with many other strikers ie. from championship, league one, league two etc, tom bradshaw, sam winnall, matty taylor, james vaughan, frazier campbell, lee gregory, nakhi wells etc, my point here is that all these strikers play in lower leagues than the highly thought of dodoo granted he's not yet broken through at leicester, so logically speaking dodoo is more highly rated in any of them as none of them are with a premiership club or on the verge of breaking through with a premiership club, dodoo could be the gem and better than all the others we've been linked to, stand up frank mcparland and take a bow.

14 Jul 2016 04:55:56
Just my opinion, then it would have to be permanent for the re-sale value. I do believe that a permanent switch depending on things is now a possibility. Which fans may or may not believe is better, I heard Skip Waldo saying he looks sharp in training and looks the part in the Glasgow evening express.

14 Jul 2016 07:55:04
Joe dodoo looks sharp, eye for goal. would be over the moon if the guy signed. watched clips of him. this boy will score goals in spl.

14 Jul 2016 08:35:11
Warbs15

Think you really need to see if dodoo signs first then if he does how he plays before you start congratulating anyone.

14 Jul 2016 13:31:28
For once we are in agreement Warburtonthefifteenth the guy scores all sorts of goals and when it comes to spotting talent not one of us is more qualified than the management team we have so all we can do is have faith. Do agree that he is from a different ilk of player considering every other striker we were linked with are championship level strikers whereas this guy has a contract on the table from the premier league champions with one appearance and a hat trick under his belt for them already and for those who are disappointed/ confused with it there isn't better VALUE elsewhere. Spending 900k on bradshaw is a risk and contains money in our current climate that could be spent better elsewhere.

14 Jul 2016 13:33:27
Biffo316 name one player we have got to ibrox that hasn't signed this season? It will be permanent I suspect just on how the management team have been talking about the deal.

13 Jul 2016 20:02:15
Cummings signs 4 year deal with Hibs.
No surprises there and I'm sure most bears like myself are quite content the speculation can finally die. I genuinely did not want him (however I would of backed him like anyone who signs on at ibrox) at Rangers. It's not bitterness either, I don't rate him for the premiership and he's part of a mob that have treated us with contempt (recently) . Now who can remember the 2 specific nuggets that were guaranteeing he was going to Ibrox? . Rumours are one thing, all but guaranteeing a transfer for attention seeking and deluded self importance, well that irritates me!

14 Jul 2016 08:06:03
hes one of the best strikers in Scotland, look how many goals he's scored already and he's what 20?

14 Jul 2016 12:43:15
l know what you mean KCooper, and so will many more.

14 Jul 2016 19:37:07
Cee, he's genuinely not that great. Only because he's young and Scottish people get exited. Every one of those goals have been at championship level. I don't see him reaching a level where we expect to be in the next few years (Hopefully) . If he was a free transfer, absolutely, but no chance would I want Rangers spending 1 million or whatever would be required to get him, no way no how.

13 Jul 2016 22:58:47
Absolutely fantastic news that jason cummings is not coming to us after signing a 4 year deal with hibs.

After all the talk that RangersLoyal and TheRanger4life said he was seen at Murray park and terms had been agreed lol.
