is more than likely going to be, big connor goldson, our new centre half! Some football media pundits already saying that our new centre half signings are of similar style, on a lesser scale obviously, to the old man utd pairing of, rio ferdinand and nemanja vidic! Goldson plays a similar style to ferdinand and katic plays a similar style to vidic! If these 2 new signings are even half as good as the man utd 2,then we'll have some partnership at the back!

What's your opinions on trying young mccrorie at full back I think he's a cracking player but at the moment lacks the physical attributes for cb we have plenty central midfielders and Stevie g will probably strengthen there again gives us the option of pushing tav further forward as well as another 6 footer in the team.

He was one of our best midfielders last season so he should keep his spot there unless someone who has came in is better and can prove it. My 3 central midfielders would be McRorie Rossiter and Arfield

Just a wee note to kenny miller thank you for your years of service. Its a shame it didn't end the way you wanted. I know players and x players come on this site so if your reading this Km. i'm sure you will get the chance to pull on the famous royal blue top again when you retire and join the legends teams.

Good luck in finding a new club and thank you for some great memories of some wonderful goals. Ps if you stay in scotland please don't score against us make sure u have a wee injury that day.

I hit disagree stewartyblue. don't see how miller can be classed as a legend. He is taking out club to task for theif decision to reprimand him for his behaviour. Not the actions of a legend in my eyes. For wyat happened behind tye scenes we will never really know. So no point in taking sides. Its the actions since and of his wife. He didn't have to go public. But chose too. that's what i have issue with. Keep it in house. I feel sorry for how his tenure has ended tho. As its not a great way to end a 3rd spell with our club. But everything that's happened was within his control.

I'm hoping our main signing this season will be Solanke, i think we need around 4 strikers that can score in Scottish football, I hope Gerrard is looking at Rhian Brewster, it would be another loan as Liverpool have already told German clubs to **** off when enquring about him.

I don't understand why people still like Morelos so much. He is not a team player only plays for himself which is not a true Ger. When he played alongside Cummings he never passed to him once. May score some good more difficult goals but misses so many simpler chances he's too much of a liability in tight games where we need a goal. His second half was abysmal. Let's get some money for him. We should have taken the China offer in January.

Personally I'd like to see a dominant midfielder and a first choice striker come in, keeping Morelos for the bench and cover and I feel we're good to go 'til the next transfer window.

I am feeling cautiously optimistic about the new season, l think most would agree that the manager may be a bit of an unknown but, l've just got a feeling he will put a much more competitive team onto the pitch, just ready to fight for everything. I also think Brenda does crack when under pressure.
Plus the mhanks are all over all things Glasgow Rangers.

Would agree with your list doc and with the addition of Cardoso by till a die. I know you put a question mark against Wallace but surely he will be told he can go given he is in dispute with the club.

Yeah Lpool Ger just wasn't sure what the story with Wallace is as its been very quiet, does Cardoso deserve at least one more season as a back up if no other CB's are signed? he still is young enough and surely if he bulks himself up a bit he's in with a chance.

The dark side are starting to sound increasingly nervous. Good. The thing about having things all your own way for years is that, once things go wrong, even minor setbacks, the wheels can come off very quickly. The likes of Boyd and Hartson have done nothing but pile extra pressure on their former club. Mark my words- when they suffer a few setbacks this season, things will start to spiral. Any negatives will be magnified ten fold because of the way they strolled through these last 2 seasons. The pressure is already building.

I think there needs to be more signings. I suppose they are waiting to see about getting players out first. Would like to see a creative midfielder and a couple of strikers, need at least one experienced striker. Personally would like to see new signings given as much time together as possible before European qualifiers.
