If we are going on to all referees now the standard is abysmal. I'm amazed that Craig Thomson is allowed to referee big European matches, he is one of the worst referees in Scotland. The sooner we involve technology the better.

Just in another note rumored that news on Whyte and the takeover will come out within the next 3-4 weeks, either Whyte will walk away or make an official offer on the stock market. The tax issue is MIH problem, all contracts were done through MIH and so Rangers as a business once independent from MIH would not be liable.

So the ref wasn't great against Killie and obviously very poor against Celtic. Walter had a dig at him yesterday, he doesn't usually but I think he and Rangers feel that Celtics constant moaning about the referees has led to a situation where Callum Murray gave them everything last OF game. Perhaps Walter is trying to point out that decisions go both ways. All I want if a fair ref this time and whoever wins deserves to.

That was one of the worst refeering displays I have ever seen. I don't buy into the refs are agianst us stuff, but not only in Scotland, poor refeering is a problem throughout football. They all want to be the star of the show, rather than do their job correctly. Fair enough, it would't have changed the game IMO, but Van Persies sending off was totally abysmal, and that was in UEFAs top competition latter stages.
