Hi sorry to bring this up but i don't understand why sa left a team where he was getting 1st team football till jan then sign for us on a pre contract and again where he would get 1st team to not even make the bench for them?

14 oct 2015 19:07:35
its called greed mate.

14 oct 2015 19:55:06
he's injured.

14 oct 2015 20:15:38
£7k a week. What's not to understand?

14 oct 2015 21:38:58
who cares about scott allan we are the mighty glasgow rangers the guy is irrelevant, end of. This club has moved on to much better things since that how much energy was wasted on this site in the summer because of it let's not go there again

14 oct 2015 22:29:30
he's signed for the best team in the country, he can't play just now because he got injured playing for the u21 team. He was trying to get his match sharpress up to speed as he hadn't featured in the hibs first team much in the

14 oct 2015 22:30:49
prior to his transfer

14 oct 2015 22:35:36
he signed for aberdeen spark? When did that happen lol, boy sure gets around ;-)

14 oct 2015 22:14:10
he's been injured & of course a bigger wage.

15 oct 2015 07:26:29
so if he wasn't injured he would be playing? Which one of the world class midfielders is getting dropped? Or what one is going in january? Won't be brook, not good enough player, but button can play, therefore he's the next one off.

15 Oct 2015 10:04:32
As you say a team packed full of world class midfielders as was shown away in Malmo

15 Oct 2015 16:28:47
When he wasn't injured he never got a a game either. Think sa is going to be the new james mcfadden. Loads of ability just wrong football choices. Should have relised after west brom

15 Oct 2015 18:54:25
If he has his head switched on, and is not flash, he makes £1m basic in three years. Should keep him going for a while.

16 Oct 2015 11:01:59
Also celtic buying scottish players just shows how bad delia is because he doesn't know any football market other than noggy an now scottish

16 Oct 2015 11:00:17
Maybe but left in the football wilderness once again. Ryan christie for instance will be the same i'm afraid

14 Oct 2015 15:35:51
See all the haters about the national team I have two words for you!! SHUT UP!!

And the the ones saying your glad rangers players aren't playing for them.... Are you having a laugh?

Point... 1, Scotland didn't need our players at all our national team played well and fought for our chance to get to France.

Point... 2, our players wouldn't have boosted our chance of qualifying. Yeah Wallace, McKay are playing well but really get a grip!

Point... 3, everyone slated Rangers last year for not going up! Now we are playing well it's time to turn and slate our national team... You all just don't see the fact both teams are playing amazing! Scotland had a tough group and almost made it.. One game cost us - but then again the Germans lay down to Ireland so don't sit there and take anything away from Scotland. We are a nation getting better and in time our 17 year wait for a big tournament will come at the World Cup...

Sorry for the rant but people need to start backing our teams... Rangers and our national team..

Thoughts?

14 Oct 2015 15:57:56
Teeboy I totally disagree its each persons choice on backing club or international team I don't ever bother with national team and irrelevant to me whether gers players get picked or not I'd probably be happier if they didn't as less chance of injury point 1 they can fight all they want qualifying isn't about how hard the team fights its about ability luck eyc etc not just fight and we lack most things hence Scotland failed again point 2 Wallace would definitely have boosted that defence and improved the quality but I think your correct with McKay point 3 Rangers are playing well but its 1st division so not amazing nor are Scotland playing "amazing" that's just delusional 1 game didn't cost us it was a campaign not a play off Scotland have improved but again its failure to qualify this should have been the best chance to qualify the group wasn't the toughest and yet we finished 4th by how many points behind 1st, 2nd and 3rd tuck your neck in and open your eyes a wee bit

14 Oct 2015 16:04:30
Germany lay down for the Republic get a grip they had numerous chances muller missed a couple of sitters, Germany weren't that hot against Scotland are Georgia for that matter. Scotland didn't qualify because they weren't good enough.

14 Oct 2015 16:18:22
Teeboy1. If you think our Euro campaign gives hope for the future you are deluded my son. 4 wins (2 against Mickey Mouse Gibraltar, 3 draws and 3 defeats doesn't sound exciting to me. Having said that Poland failed to beat us and we were level at 2-2 with Germany at one time at Hampden. Scotland are always likely to raise their game and produce good results against the bigger countries but until we stop committing football suicide against the likes of Georgia, Iran, Costa Rica, Morocco and Luxembourg we'll never make the grade. We are all entitled to our opinions on this site so no, we won't shut up unless the Ed decides to! I am a passionate Rangers fan but also a passionate Scot and I love my country whether they are playing football, rugby or even cricket! lol. I'm sure we'll improve but not until the grass roots of our game in Scotland is completely overhauled.

14 Oct 2015 16:50:29
l be Irish then hooly? Not!

14 oct 2015 18:44:15
Calm down teeboy, people come on here to say their views, not fit in with yours. Strachan had them playing ok at the start but the stats speak for themselves, no better than the muck before him. I think any other manager bar an ex celtic one would have picked premiership players over brown, mulgrew and forrest etc.

If i was wallace, i would retire from scotland. He is being punished for being loyal, he's the best left back scotland have and has been since he signed for us, dropping divisions doesn't make him a worse player in my opinion and i'm sure he'll be the best left back in the spfl next year.

14 oct 2015 18:13:34
teeboy get a grip lol. Our game was a total failure. We were seeded 3rd but we finished 4th. That's total failure. Scraped a win against the mighty georgia at home. Scotland have not improved at all in my eyes. Maybe playing better football but still not getting results and that's what matters.

Dont know how anybody says we've improved. Playing a dud striker and 1 up front and 2 crap holding midfielders and most teams would fail. Untill our mentality changes we will never make it big. I would like to see a good young foreign coach come in and play attacking football with attacking players.

Not playing 7 defending players as in keeper. Back 4 an 2 defending. Holding midfielders. Only reason we beat gibralter 6 nil was fullbacks were told to play and no real holding midfielders... All of sudden we on front foot. Attack is best way to defend

14 oct 2015 19:16:48
ok i'll bite on teeboy post. The 3 teams who were above us deserved their position in the group. Ireland took 4 points from the world champs' we took zero. O'strachan plays a right footed player at left back. I've played full back an its difficult to tackle. Personally he is lucky he has no competition.

Could go on with the rest of his selection and have already. Our blue boys will have to wait and will get their chance especially our captain. The manager a person with a good sense of humour who by the way has to ask his wife if he should carry on.

14 oct 2015 19:17:17
from northern ireland teeboy, is that ok?

14 oct 2015 19:07:14
personnaly i couldn't give a monkeys how scotland do and nobody on here will force anything on me teeboy. I've sat in boozers and watched scotland and all the tartan people wanted to do was criticise rangers players and ex-rangers players. Not for me mate.

15 oct 2015 00:24:31
that's probably one of the worst and misinformed posts i've heard on this site and that's saying something. Played well and fought hard? The 2 games against georgia were terrible and we were lucky to beat them with an own goal at home, we scraped past the irish at home and couldn't beat germany when the other 2 main teams did. As for them lying down to ireland that's ridiculous and u are embarrassing yourself with stupid comments like that

15 oct 2015 07:28:26
if you're from ni, why are you rabbiting about the republic? Different group to your country.

15 oct 2015 08:54:40
how am i rabbiting about the republic i pointed out to teeboy that germany didn't lie down if u don't understand that then that's your problem! I don't give a toss about any other country only my own and we're going to france as group winners! Even though the republic keep taking are best players!

14 Oct 2015 10:38:09
I'm glad no Rangers players were involved in the Scotland set up. We don't need the negativity. After the way the SFA and the rest of Scottish football treated us I would be quite happy to never see a Rangers player pull on the dark blue again.
Guys like James Mcarthur must be scratching their heads wondering how that headless chicken Brown gets anywhere near the team in front of them, he certainly breaks up the play, his own teams. Thee most overrated player in Sottish football bar none.

14 Oct 2015 12:12:33
I would have loved to see a couple of Rangers players playing against quality opposition as the experience would be invaluable unlike playing lower grade pros and semi pros every week, not to mention that international football raises the value of players. Time to let the bitterness go OP.

14 Oct 2015 13:23:50
I would love to see some of our team play at national level. Its every pros dream to play for their nation and challenge their self at the highest level and if they are playing good enough why shouldn't they get the rewards they deserve.

I'd love to see wallace get a call up, the guy put his Scotland ambitions on hold when playing for us at a lower level and I think it would be great for him if he could get into the squad one day.

14 Oct 2015 16:18:16
The way the sfa and the rest of Scottish football treated you? What you mean, bending there own rules to grant your new club passage into the third division, I agree utterly disgraceful.

14 oct 2015 19:08:33
did they not do the same for livingston, fab? Do you really really think that they didn't throw the book at us? I wonder how you would have felt if it had been your club. Get a grip man!

14 oct 2015 19:25:27
fab shhhh. Can you not remember "show liquidation the red card day". i'm sure all the crowd were desperate to save their holding company. the club was fine lol.. So bears who's honest enough to admit that the red card mass demonstration was to save your club?

14 oct 2015 20:33:05
the seeker

they are the only fans in the world happy to win a league without any competition, then they get humped out of the champions league qualifiers [only once this year] then moan because they have no competition, well they will have no excuses next year but get ready for the paranoia & the refs a mason not heard that for a while see what happens when their winning

14 oct 2015 20:53:25
the seeker obviously not of the truth as livi have never been liquidated, they went into administration twice in 2005 & 2009 but not liquidation, it takes a desperate man to make stuff up that is on record and easily checked. Livi were demoted, your ex club was liquidated and your new club applied to join the third division, it's all on record, and the process that took place to let you in was a total breach of sfa rules and every official who took part should be disciplined, including celtics.

15 Oct 2015 16:16:34
WATP62. I really don't know where to start shooting holes in your comment. "They are the only fans happy to win a league without any competition"? So what are Ranger's fans doing this year? Frothing at the gash about how happy they are to be winning a league with. Wait for it. No competition. For the first 2 years of the 'jurney', you won 2 leagues with absolutely no competition. Then when you did have competition from a team who showed you the proper way to deal with administration, they humped you. And before you state the old "we can only play the teams on front of us" line, that applies to all teams in all leagues. And before you narrow mindedly accuse me of being a Celtic fan. Guess what! I'm not. Comments like yours are turning this page into RanjursMedia. Ooooooh the hate!

16 Oct 2015 19:13:39
JONTYJONES
Must have touched a nerve there eh. Rangers fans as you say are not "frothing at the gash" about winning the league but what we are frothing the gash at is the turnaround in the style of football now getting played even a blind man can see the difference yet again some narrow minded and bigoted people are blinded by the truth btw a sign of weakness is denying what you are. .
