Watched the game in work on the pc today, only seen bits of the first half,
but I thought it was a barrage of high balls into the box? I may be wrong but that is what I caught, maybe someone can tell me we actually played well and i'm wrong,? I really hope so?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Thts what was happening for the first half and start of second. First half wasn't upto much. Played much better for last half hour. You'd never have thought there was five goals in them at half time. Mccullochs second was a screamer. I thought law and peralta had good games. Moshni done well too.

0 0

What a difference it makes when players are played in their proper positions. Little is a striker not a wide player and when he went through the middle and Templeton played wide Rangers were a different team. Surely now McCoist must realise to play Little wide is just a waste.

0 0

1st half was much like last season, 2nd half was nearly the same an I reckon the score flattered us to many highballs played with hope more than anything. stunner from lee mc. mohsni looks the part could be like another bougi

0 0

It's still highly paid professionals, international guys against part timers, should realistically be 15-0. How a goal is conceded is baffling.

0 0

Moshni was ok but I think against better opposition he could be found out. To be fair though u have to give him and the other new players the chance to settle into the sife

Just a quick point but might be relevant to all the bears who think that the current squad would walk the spfl. nearly 60% of your goals this season have been scored after the 50th minute. Could this be because as a full time professional squad your fitness levels are going to be that much greater than that of the part time opposition, which in the later half of the game becomes prevelant, hence the current winning margins.
In fairness well done to the players and the rangers conditioning coaches because the is an huge fitness improvement in the squad.
These days there are no easy games even against part timers as most spfl teams can tell you from cup exploits, But lads don't start thinking you will walk the SPFL, you might do well, but until you face a good side in the cup as far as I am concerned the jury is well and truely out. not that you care anyway.

Thats cumming from the fan of a team who took 2 games and a lot of luck to beat a bunch of no hopers that would struggle in the junior leagues in the C/L

0 0

@9 yeah and that's coming from a fan if a team who were regularly embarrassed by part timers last season and jumped out the league cup by part timers this year too lol
Your bragging because of why? What a tool you are mate!

0 0

Lennons team worth millions take 2 games to beat arbroath but the most successful team in scotland hit them for 5 in one game

@ 9, 10 & 11.

Lads don't shoot the messenger. I was just stating a fact. Now I know you boys down govan way don't generally deal in facts so I understand how upset you get when one is presented to you. Here is another fact for you, you were humped last year by a number of part time teams. You Will be humped by another part time team this year. If you had the chance to play that bunch of kazaks they would comfortably beat you. Don't forget where and what you are. A third tier team with third rate players and a turd (spelling is correct) rate manager.

now Celtic may get humped in the cl in the comming weeks, So be it but if we aren't there we Will have yet more historic nights at paradise, nights that you can only dream of emulating. In the mean time continue your journey to deluded arrogance on the back of beating a few plumbers because they were working on a site on Friday before playing rangers on Saturday. And that's the only reason your turd rate team beat them.

Benedict xx

0 0

@12 your arrogance is clearly evident. As for your historic champions league nights, what do the stats say for your last outing to Italy. A 5-0 humping into the bargain.
While on the subject of stats, your last season was the worst in SPL history for losses and draws for your team.
Your game against Barcelona, 89 per cent possession for Barcelona a mistake by a defender and a goal?
What does it prove, football is a game of 90 minutes, 11 v 11 and anything can happen and does, a lucky result. That is why we all love the game.
As for your turd references did you know the slang meaning is "a contemptible person" enough said. PB

@13 apologies I obviously used that word out of context. What I ment was sh1t.

Benedict xx

It's normal for Barcelona to have most possession, (89%?) Last night was the same against Seville, difference is they didn't lose. In fact they rarely lose. (Dufc are the only team in the world with a 100% record against them. ) Celtic have a very good record against them, 2nd equal with Liverpool within uk teams. I don't remember any lucky goals
Juventus won the tie well in the end but had to resort to outright cheating at times. Everybody saw it and since then players have been booked and penalties awarded for it. Says a lot that they came with such a plan. I'm sure celtic learned a lot from that. Anyway we've beaten Italians before, and we will be giving it a go.
As for last season in spl, one year has to be the worst, haven't checked that because I can't be bothered.

Well there was a few people on here wondering where McCullough would get a game in the team now that the new guys are all available judging by recent performances by jig I think I'll be happy if he just stays where he is more important to the team that some fans give him credit for and a really nice guy too spoke to him in Belfast recently.

R. T. I. D.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

A think big mcculloch scoring back to back hat tricks shows all use numpties that average players are made to look good in the lower leagues against inferior players.
In his day a good player was being slated by use mob while in the big leagues him and edu. And to score a hat trick from defence lmfao.
That's for the diddy that says Clark scoring goals in the 3rd should get a chance wae dcotland

0 0

I can see how arbroath drew with celtic at porkheid theyr very well organised and motivated but once our big players gel wel be unsstopable

0 0

Why even mention that game. We can, t judge ourself against a game last season. Celtic are miles in front of us. Just look at the money they spent millions during the summer and sellold players for £20 million. We could not afford one single player with a trnsfer fee so stop acting deluded go to the games and you will see that we are what we are a team full of free transfers of players that put money before careers, players that would not even get a game for celtic under 21 team. Any English player up here playing in the scottish 3rd division is clearly a nobody Nicky Law

0 0

Bit bad of AMcC to mention the Celt/Arbroath game and make a connection to the current Rangers team and there performance. Fodder for the deluded again. So Rangers pumped Arbroath, Celtic struggled against Arbroath, but Celtic beat Barcelona. So in theory Rangers are better than Barcelona. But wait Forfar beat Rangers!

A bit like last year, the proof of your puddings will be in the beatings.

0 0

You still need to be what's in front of you regardless what league your in,
I cringed when I heard Ally mention the Celtic-Arbroath game! What's that go to do with anything?

0 0

@4. I think your reading too much into the comments. I feel ally mc was actually complementing Arbroath. He also said the score flattered gers. He never mentioned us pumping Arbroath. So your probably just fishing for an argument. Also only an person works out results like you. Forfar better than barca.? What you on?

@1 think you had best stay off the baccy m8, nobody said Clark deserves a chance with scotland rite now, what was actually said was that if clark turned out to be a guy who scored 30-40 goals a season scotland couldn't afford to not look at him, now try and get this, if messi is playing for a tuppence ha, penny low league club in argentina, but is showing obvious signs of being a great player, do you not think it woul be suitable for the manager to look at him, and maybe even try him out? no you probably don't m8, but then you, ve never played football have you? do you remember walcott being taken to the world cup, when he was a reserve player?

0 0

Clark and Walcott in the same breath, get a grip.

McCoist's attitude to Black's betting activities is disgraceful. He is either stupid or maybe Black has something on him.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Dont think they can afford to sack him. would cost too much.

0 0

I don't see why people are so concerned with mccoists opinion. He is a puppet, like every other manager to the board. He doesn't decide if a players contract should be terminated or not. Sooner people realize mccoist has no influence on salaries as well then we can get onto proper stuff - like FOOTBALL.

0 0

Black has been a liability from day one?

He should be chased out of Ibrox he is typical of how far standards at Ibrox have fallen.

The sooner we get in a manager of the calliber of McCall or Butcher the better?

Ally is like most of us he says anything that his bosses want him to say or he doesn't get his money.

Just as his players then say anything he tells them to say i. e that they have no problem with Ian Black.

0 0

@ op why would he have something
on ally and what if anything. explain
billy h

0 0

What exactly were the bets. As of yet I have still to see them.
OCRangers

0 0

Ally has list of 100 players who bet on footba. take it these are Rangers players. and this why ally cannot get rid of black, as half his team would go with him!

SFA should call Ally's bluff and ask for proof from ally that 100 scottish players are illegally betting!

0 0

Folks

Rule in scottish FA - No Betting on Football.

And yet Ally says he does not understand rule and its NOT CLEAR!

. says it all - no wonder he backs looser all the time.

0 0

@2 board say to ally black staying. go into press conference and back him

All ally has to say is this will be now dealt internally - matter closed - punishment accepted.

But no ally has to say he has seen the bets - which ones ally - all blacks bets all or those with one bookmaker. ladbrokes?

Has ally done full review, etc etc etc

Ally is footballer, no genius with above average IQ.

only 10% of population supersmart - this means 10% must be super stupid - ie footballers.

0 0

@op. Or more than likely McCoist has seen the bets that Black has made and has decided to stick by his player. None of us have seen the bets involved and differing media reports concerning what games were involved. Say what you want about McCoist but he has Rangers best interests in his heart. I believe if he felt Black played in a game to get lose, he would be out the door.
How about we trust in our manager at least for this season? We have enough problems with what is going on with the board without having a go at McCoist.

0 0

@10 ally has seen some bets with one bookmaker. how many bookmakers did black use.

if black not come clean, he could now be blackmailed. Ally a fool.

Ally has put black on hook, only need one other bookmaker to now expose black having other non-disclose bets and its all over.

Black backed his team to draw with a bunch of part timers. he didn't rate his team mates or manager highly enough to get all 3 points.

But Super Ally has no problems at all with that. Says it all. Don't expect our former dignity back any time soon at Ibrox guys. pity because the team ARE beginninig to perform.

Heard Kenny Sheils say he would have had a huge problem even with his own son if he'd done the same.

0 0

Allys the manager you either back him or go somewhere else

0 0

@13 that's a stupid post. So if you don't back the manager u go elsewhere? Think you'll find the majority of Rangers fans have given Ally stick so by your logic then there would be less than a thousand left

0 0

Re 7, yeah you are probably correct, but assume you also are realistic enogh to realise that the same would apply to ALL teams, re 8, yes stupid comment, but do you realise that large % of our players chose to ignore, not to mention the 95 % of our juniors and amateurs who also fall into this rule. And can we let this go or we will finish up with individuals (in the bookmaking profession) thinking mmm who will I decide to shop. Let us be under no doubt many could be in Black's position but for some reason (any guesses) someone decided it was Black for him.

Ally quoted as saying, Ian black guilty of being stupid, was what sandaza done not just stupid?

This really does stink of double standards.

Same with Darren Cole. Listened to the first caller last night on Clyde and he banged the nail on the head, as for big DJ, he sounded very unconvincing trying to toe the Media House party line.

0 0

Big DJ is increasingly off topic - He seems to be so concerned with the party line that it comes out as thoughtless mantras

Is it just me or does everyone squirm every time he has the mike

.

0 0

Charles green sacked sandaza

0 0

The board sacked Sandaza and Cole NOT McCoist. Managers don't sack players

0 0

Radio clyde hates rangers

0 0

14 Sep 2013 13:57:00
Well if Clyde hates Rangers, DJ, Gordon Dalziel, Fraser Wishart and others should boycott it.

0 0

They were like sandaza theyr only there for the money

0 0

Should the board not sack black then, the boys werrnt sacked without ally's say so don't b so naive

0 0

@ 5 seriously plenty hate rangers the list is endless but clyde come on mate they don't have favourites do they. They are the opitimay (spelling) of inpartialness ( made up words and spelling) lmao bud wit about big D. J I rest my case
