Rumour has it Craig Beattie sets UK record for 200mts sprint and has qualified for olympics. Olympic commitee excited as he appeared to do it with his knees and hands in the air..... very impressive ... LARKYELLIS

Believable6 Unbelievable1

Strange why he celebrated with such enthusiasm against the mhanks considering he'd once played for them. Maybe and axe to grind?

Agree6 Disagree1

Stop making a big deal about a celebration. He scored the winning goal to take his team into a cup final that's why he went daft. Watp

Agree6 Disagree0

Cause he,s a bluenose.

Agree6 Disagree2

Beattie's a die hard rangers man. that celebration was superb. made my day!!
J1985

Agree6 Disagree1

He's a hearts player.

Agree1 Disagree0

All his family are Rangers fans (so I'm told)

Agree4 Disagree1

He is a Gers fan, used to have a season ticket in the copland road, thats why! :-)

Agree4 Disagree2

Heard he's a bluenose and took stick off Lemmon for it when he wis ther.

Revenge?

Agree4 Disagree2

He is a true blue. One of many to play for Celtic with a rangers tattoo.

I'm still confused! Option one (favoured by all bidders?) a CVA. The tax guys have a policy of not allowing CVAs if they think tax was fiddled so if BTC goes against Rangers I'm assuming no CVA.
So Option two, liquidation. I keep seeing that (various and large) portions of assets will be transferred to Newco leaving minimum behind to settle debts. I thought liquidation obliged the Administrators to sell everything to maximise repayment of debt and then, and only then, could any excess be transferred to a new owning entity. As Rangers, including the team and stadium, seem to be roughly equivalent to the total debt what assets will there be to pass to a Newco? The Newco's only value would be whatever money any new owner put into it and as most bidders seem to be around the £20mill mark at present that would be what was available to buy,pay a team and obtain a stadium (maybe rent Ibrox from HMRC?) plus gate money. As bidders are offering £20mill now while a hoped for CVA would retain property what would they offer if all that went in liquidation?

Believable0 Unbelievable3

I don't know if I'm right or not but if rangers go into liquidation then Craig Whyte would still own Murray park & ibrox ? So no new co could buy them unless Whyte sells the 2 of them to either a construction company or a new bidder either way he wants millions ? Duff & phelps are bleeding rangers dry up in till the point that the RFFF can't pay anyone know more then they come out & say the club has to go down the pan & Craig Whyte has ibrox & Murray park.

I can't see rangers getting out of this mess, admin & liquidating companies is Craig whytes bread & butter & just about every asset apart from players are sold on. I wouldn't be surprised if Whyte have told D&P unless I can get a buy out for 20m (as a figure of what Murray park & ibrox are worth) then I want the club out of business & all assets pasted to me ?

Lenny

Agree0 Disagree0

Your forgetting that players and staff automatically become secured creditors for their full contracts/redundancy (80 million plus) ibrox and murray park would go to floating charge holder liquidation HMRC would get £0.they can however toopay the staff over to the newco at no cost other than honoring their contracts common practice now to shaft people out of their redundancy payments and of course perfectly legal

Well you are nearly at deaths door and all you can go on about is how Neil Lennon has no class u wonder why you we all hate him you are all obsessed with the man Tell u what is classy tho having 247 creditors from small businesses to the champions not paying your taxes singing your bigoted bile at matches absolutely shaming Scottish football with your antics in Manchester taking a million pound off lotto lout Carroll we are gracious in defeat
But wreck Manchester because your anti football was not good enough Neil Lennon has one title under his belt how many has mcoist Neil Lennon has european experience will mcoist next season Neil Lennon will have cash to spend next season will mcoist rangers already showed they could beat Celtic so what's the excuse admin. U were in admin when you beat us I will wake up a champion in the morning will u
Tel

Believable13 Unbelievable17

That's rich coming from you lot about being obsessed about Neil Lemmon yous lot are never away from this page about the dilemma that were in if you don't like what we say about that ginger ass--le stay away from the Gers page and stick to the bottlers page lol

GERman

Agree11 Disagree8

And you say we are obsessed, have a look at yourself and where you have posted ya deluded fool.

Agree8 Disagree5

Oh dear fall out the wrong side of the bed did we,suppose its alright for you to criticise is it,get a life saddo....trueblue.....

Agree5 Disagree5

Calm down, you are the one on our page. If you think that Lennon is a good manager then fine, good luck to you, hope you keep him for a long time.
But if you are happy with his antics keep him, but with previous managers like Stein, Burns, o'neill, McNeill you should be ashamed. He is like a wee wean throwing his rattle out of the pram, but if you think that is good enough for celtic, then all good.

Agree9 Disagree2

This post if hilarious on so many levels.
1st...deaths door? Hardly pal, bill Ng confirmed his bid still stands in light of the proposed rule change, tbk bid was always about reaching a cva n brian kennedy has publically stated that he will not see us go under.
2nd..anti football?!! That style of football recieves plaudits when the italian national sides turn up to tournaments n succeed playing this so called "anti football" as well as jose mourinhos inter side who didn't just park the bus they "parked the plane" at the nou camp a few seasons back to get a result over 2 legs. yet we do it n its a disdrace!! Perhaps a similar approach by selik may result in 3 pkints away from home in the CL group stages.
3rd...how long has mccoist been assistant at rangers? I ask this because as part of a managerial team i'm sure him n walter have the same amount of winners medals in their time together. in turn giving him experience n a medal haul that lennon could only dream of. whilst lennon was banned by mowbray from travelling with the first team 3 years ago ally was part of a managerial team who'd recently reached a uefa cup final, won a few domestic cups n going for a second consecutive league title.
Your points are lacking substance much like your team lacking bottle. cheerio!!!
J1985

Agree7 Disagree6

@4 it is, he is and will be a great manager and we will keep him for some time.. so why is it so important to yous what he does? try telling all your support to focus on your own club for they have MORE problems then watching and waiting on every little thing Lennon does. and by lisening to former manager o'niell, he thinks he is a good manager and has promise to be great. so why dont yous leave him alone and let our club worry about what he does for he is sticking up for us and telling the sfa/spl/media we will not be putting up with all the bias against us..for he is the right man to do it and it may well just take what he does to have the game change and fair play be installed...hows your own manager doing? any tophies? or success? no, one of the worst managers ever in your shirt yet he is fine by yous as long as you have Lennon to shout your anger and vile at, for no matter what yous say Lennon has had a harder time and more difficulties then your club.... its is so DUMB how yous always go after him for the samllest things and look to have a go using him to get at us Celtic fans, if yous would stop following him with obsession you wouldnt see Celtic fans on your page, just like yous are on ours, we are sticking up for our manager because it is a disgrace how he is treated by yous and the media. most of yous seem to think he is the devil or somthing.. we already lost martin o'neil because he was ran out of town by all the hate towards him, just like Lennon, but our manager now wont be moved and that seems to get yous and the spl/sfa mad..i am glad that he is standing for whats right and standing up for our club....for did Lennon have any moments of being angry in our europe games? no because of fair play however there was a pen that never should have been one..all the "antics" are from dodgy calls, what till the truth comes out! for there is proof that has come out regarding Lennon's tunnel antics that will prove Lennon was right and not lieing and that the spl/sfa/refs are all dodgy.

Agree9 Disagree5

Martin o'neill left to care for his wife ya tube. thought o'neill was a great manager n still do.
As for us rangers fans being "obsessed with every LITTLE thing lennon does"!! Key word little pal.....a scottish cup in the year we won the double n a league title in the season rangers were in administration......your words have never been more relevant. little success in 2 and a half years!!!!
J1985

Agree6 Disagree6

6 - you are deluded, this is a man who had a terrible time last year, absolutely disgusting , but his antics are ridiculous. Today's performance of running on to confront the ref is clearly not good, and whilst hearts should not have had a penalty, neither of celtics claims were wrong, ki might be at the Olympics but for diving, and the penalty claim did not hit his hand, snd yet thomson says he watched it four times, a trip to spec savers perhaps.
It really is true that you are never defeated only cheated.
As for our manager, well there is nobody I would have at the moment. As far as his tactics there are concerns but with the trouble this year, results really don't matter. However he has dealt with everything with a great deal of passion. Whether he becomes a good manager remains to be seen, but you must have concerns that he can't seem to motivate his players. To get beaten by killie in a final and hearts in a semi proves that.

Agree6 Disagree6

8..you seem to forget not too long ago we were on a 26 match undefeated run, starting from 15 points behind in which the very team you mention killie was the team we started it with. coming back from 3 down to have a draw because our manager got them motivated to start the run. it all ended by what? a refs poor call(which there were many and we did say how poor they were, so dont start wit "everything was ok when yous were winning") which the calls made in the matches have had an impact on the game which it helped the other team. so YES we have been CHEATED! just like yous have CHEATED spl clubs and having spl/sfa on your side helping. after everything that happened to our manager and all the dodgy calls and media against our club, we are not taking it anymore and are standing for whats right, for if the refs wont talk to you after the game what can he do but see them on the field, yes ok he ran out but there was nothing crazy, havent you seen how other managers act jose marino, alex fir, managers in la liga....no i guess you dont yous just have a dislike for everything Celtic and our manager. yous cant even admit your club has done wrong and indid cheated every club not by only how you were runned but you are going bust and your thinking of only your own and not stand for good and fair play has brought your club to its end. stop worrying about our manager for if there was fair play and well refed games and the media would not put its spin on things not to mention all the vile, you would see a different person but until then we can only stand up for ourselves and we have the perfect man for the job, not too mention he has talent in tactics or do yous just talk and look at our few loses as normal? we were in the hardest group in europa and should have advanced if not for another poor call and own goal. enjoy watching the last one standing for we will always be, hope Celtic success in the future dosnt hurt too much.

YOUR team dropped the ball again, YOUR manager forgot he was on tv, YOU seem to forget these are BANTER pages, maybe you should ask a TIM what banter is. Your team got beat and opposition supporters are LOVING it. It's only banter.

At the start of each and every season I have a number things I want Celtic to achieve now let's see if i can get that list....ah ha here we go...
1. Win leaguel... Check
2. Win more than rankers...check
3. The rankers have an awful season...check
4. Look forward to euro football...check
5. Rankers don't get European football...check
6. That rankers go out the game never to be seen again... In progress!

Ah that will do for me.

Briggs.

Believable9 Unbelievable16

You forgot numbers 7 and 8

7. To hear the crashing of bottles when playing important games.

8. Chris Commons to lose weight by not stealing all his team mates jam tarts and killie pies :)

Agree3 Disagree5

@4 are you blind or just stupid?

1. Win spl
2. Win more than rankers

Now explain why having them at the top of my list makes me prefer to have rankers do badly before we win tournaments?... Aye thought so. And at a guess I'd say your stupid as per....

Agree1 Disagree2

@2 are you blind or just stupid? I said I only had 6 on my list why are you adding another that wasn't on it? maybe you can't count so Id hazard a guess that you to are stupid

Pre-defeat it was all about how bigoted gets fans are and post bottling it has reverted back to rangers til July. Amazing how deluded they are about the real quality of their team of barca-esque players. I think the real fear for them is that this might have been the best opportunity for a treble for many years and they have blown it and there is a real possibility of the gap being less than 10points come the end of season. Scared that just maybe we will actually get out of this hole we're in and be looking to take back our trophy next season. Well done to hearts and hibs, should be a cracking final!

Believable15 Unbelievable4

Fancy a jelly and ice cream?
No I'll have a jam tart please and a bottle,
Sorry, no bottles they have all crashed.

They have the cheek to ask why we hate Neil Lennon, think today summed it up - no class at all.

Never defeated, always cheated.

When Thomson was asked on the radio if he saw the replay of the celtic offside goal, needless to say he didn't , he only saw the penalty replayed.

Believable16 Unbelievable1

Once again,it was the refs fault, listen, did you not see some of the refereeing decisions given against Rangers in the last 4 games, exclude the Buddies game, ref had a shocker ,never 3 pens, but thats what we have to contend with.Surely the ref bosses can see too many mistakes made, and it is not an anti old firm vendetta either, all league clubs get decisions go against them,we have to encourage the new refs, not scare them away,or our league is doomed, honest mistakes are made, and over a season they mainly even out.Well done Hearts, should be a decent final.

Believable13 Unbelievable2

I agree with you.Refereeing in scotland is now as bad as i can remember it.I think if they would understand fans, and speak to the press after games it would help a lot.If a decision is proved wrong.explain why you gave it ,honest mistake ,and move on.No more berating refs, and i include my own teams manager in this.....green jhedi

Agree8 Disagree1

Refs are only human and do make mistakes, but to say it's anything other than that is nonsense. Decisions go for and against throughout a season, never hear a manager complain when a goal is given for an offside/infringement etc to his teams benefit. It's only when the decision is not to their liking do they then moan about it. Such is life.

So it'll be just the four offences for Neil Lennon this year! Guy needs to learn to keep it shut! Tough luck, we all get it! Shows you how much more professional McCoist is!

Believable16 Unbelievable4

When are they getting dealt with I thought the system was to be a fast track system. Same as last year it took ages to finally deal with him.

Agree10 Disagree0

15 Apr 2012 17:19:16
Just seen the highlights on SSN, I know the guy takes alot of crap and he and his family did not deserve the sh*t they have been put through. But Neil Lennon you are a disgrace son! Who do you think you are? Running on to the pitch like a petulant little girl to shout at the ref! Get a grip. The Celtic fans can slag Ally all they want and say he just Walter in disguise but at least our manager has a bit of dignity! Strap on a pair you little girl and deal with it!
Dmrangers

Believable16 Unbelievable5

Mccoist would do it the sly way and wait till the refs in the tunnel.... hes a snake with a waistcoat.hes that sly hes conned his own fans into believing hes the man to lead rangers even after throwing away a massive lead in the league.

Agree6 Disagree16

Your wee sly ally is a crawler ABSOLUTELY.

Agree7 Disagree14

Have just read some of the posts on lennons twitter account..DISGRACEFUL is to polite off a word for the posts from rangers fans, wishing he had a terminal illness like petrov, also was shown a pic took at the game, hearts fans with a banner displaying...petrov 19 days to live..shameful, disgusting, vile ,go on try disagree,it shows a HATEFUL poisonus element that has no place in modern society, time for them too evolve..stevo

Agree9 Disagree8

Oh really, and i thought Ally was just a nice guy, going about his job in a dignified manner, you are talking garbage, take your medicine, you got beat again in a big game, the players are at fault, not Ally,Rangers SFA,SPL,DR who,or my granny.Deal with it,and Mr N Lennon, please learn some self control, you shame the club, you claim to love.

Agree7 Disagree2

Crawler and Snake? Pi*h!! McCoist speaks to people up the tunnel cos thats the way it should be! Deals with it away from the spotlight and doesn't embarrass himself or the club! Lennon want to know about dignity, just look at McCoists attitude since 14th of February!
Dmrangers

Agree7 Disagree2

No5,mccoists attitude since 14th of February, his comments since then where made to get the fans on his side, hes actually convinced you lot hes a good manager. What about his attitude before feb 14th?He sat saying nothing and sucked up to craig whyte all to save his own skin, why didnt he open his mouth back then?sly yes man.

Agree3 Disagree3

@5; mcoists attitude is to suck up to anybody who might help him stay in work

Agree3 Disagree3

Stevo, there is no place in society for such disgraceful behaviour, I can't disagree. But you blame Hearts and Rangers fans almost blinded to the fact that just like every club in Scotland there is a portion of sick uneducated minds. Its not one club in particular that behave in this barely human way, but a portion of Scotland's deprived areas of society. The one thing that does differ from our clubs is your manager stoking the fire all season round instead of showing an example to others and acting like a role model.

My club is not perfect, there are some sick people who claim to be involved, but it is no different to your club so climb off the high horse and see the bigger picture. Its not a problem within football its society that creates it!

CamAlex8

Agree5 Disagree0

Because he doesn't bleat on in public or bi*tch on twitter he's sly? Ask yourself why true Celtic legends have praised him bhoys?! I'll listen to thoses people not a couple of posters who can't leave a name! And no one said were convinced by him as a manager, but he is one of us and he is behind us as much as we are behind him!! United we stand - United we fall, we are the people and we definitely do not do walking away!!
Dmrangers

Agree2 Disagree1

No9,were you behind him before admin?out of his depth, lost and great player but never a manager springs to mind. These were comments made by the laptop loyal...not two unnamed posters.A large number at the time wanted him to walk away, would you walk away from a very well paid job?

Agree0 Disagree1

To be honest, No I didn't want him as the manager, but not because I don't think he's not upto the job simply cos he was my favourite player growing up and a hero to the fans and didn't want him ruining that and also I think the old firm at this time is too big for a rookie, which I thin ive beem proven correct with Lennon and McCoist. But we have him and I have never called for his head cos the man is dealing with more than any other manager has had to and the way the man has handled himself is a credit, yeah he made mistakes, show me a rangers manager that hasn't, but he'll be better for it next season! And walking away from a well paid job? McCoist and his staff took a wage cut too you know! And the laptop loyal and unnamed posters are the same, not got a set a st of b****cks between them!!

Believable13 Unbelievable7

Don't agree scottish football is dead. Turn into a league of Wales yeah, but dead no.

Agree2 Disagree4

It would die eh, rangers effectivly had a non season and the 3 trophies up fr grabs go to 3 diferent teams,

Agree1 Disagree3

Remarkable! how you got away with it for years is remarkable.Sectarian bigotry, riots and tax dodging..truly remarkable

Agree1 Disagree7

What makes rangers remarkable? The sectarian signing policy for over 100 years? The fun chanting about 2m people dying in a famine? The glorying of being up to to your knees in catholics blood? The trail of debt following you to your demise? The rioting and trail of destruction you leave round europe? The tax dodging and no payment of EMPLOYEE tax and insurance? all pretty remarkable eh?

Agree7 Disagree12

Celtic fans should not throw stones in glasshouses when referring to Sectarianism/bigotry. We know we have a problem with it (and the club/fans are trying to do something about it), pity some Celtic fans seem to think it only applies to Rangers fans and that they don't do it.

Every big game we are always taking about refs.

That is a quote from the Celtic site. Could it be because they cannot accept defeat?

Believable19 Unbelievable1

Most fans would be raging if the penalty decision went against them tbh, very poor decision when the ref claims he thought it hit wanyamas hand. The standard of referees, not only in scotland is shocking.Players and managers are rightly heavily criticized for poor performances yet referees are untouchable when it comes to decisions such as whether the ball crossed the line or never crossed the line.Balotellis tackle last week shows how poor they are.

Champions, debt free, not in admistration we are fine worry about yourself kid.

We'll wake up in the morning knowing we blew it, but with the realisation that we have a young squad who, with some additions will get better, this is something we can look forward to next season - what are you looking forward to!!!!!

Just watched celtic game in perth australia cannot believe neil lennon firstly refuses any real handshake from hearts manager and then runs on the park like a hooligan if that was a fan he would have had 4 coppers round him surely now enough is enough he has got to go celtic fans time to face reality your manager is a total disgrace the real celtic fans must cringe when they see this week in week out you wouldn;t see burns stein or mcneil acting like that come on SFA stop doing SFA and run this creep out of our game instead of our team follow follow from Perth True Blue

Believable17 Unbelievable7

If ally did that Iwouldnt want him as Rangers manager and its not because its neil lennon any football manager that does that doesnt belong at a football club , ameteur or pro clubs, the celtic board are to blame as much as lennon because they sit back and let him carry on like that.

Well with three different clubs winning the three trophies I think that puts to bed any notion that Scottish football needs Rangers. If they aren't even challenging for anything why would we need their putrid club near anything. This could be a defining moment in Scottish football as it has been proven that The Shame are not required and Scottish football will prosper.

Believable5 Unbelievable14

You just keep believing that line then. Whatever happens to us, you will still be bottlers FC with or without us there to laugh at your treble - ooops - double - ooops slip ups.

Agree8 Disagree2

It proves that a team that should be cleanin up domestically due to their nearest rivals being in turmoil........just don't have the bottle!! 2 competitions that selik have had to work for n they fail in both. you couldn't make this up. ross county, rangers in league cup final n league title last season, kilmarnock n now hearts.......priceless!!!

Agree3 Disagree8

They've said we won't be in europe this year - fair point, but at the end of July neither will they. We've had to listen to them saying ok no treble but the double is in the bag...haha crasshhhh go the bottles once again.

Agree7 Disagree2

Gentlemen Bears.....The facts!....we can now officially proclaim Celtic as Bottlers (no arguing Timmy)
1. pressure Game - Killie in League Cup Final - Lost
2. Pressure Game - Gers at Ibrox - Lost
3. Pressure Game - Hearts in Semi Final - Lost
4. No Pressure Game - @ Killie to win the league - won (because there was no pressure, if they didnt win last week, they woulda won it next week)

So the facts cleary state that pressure is not something the 11 green bottlers like...........and then they tell us they are gonna win the Champions League!.......taxi for Lemon!...

Hi, first time poster here. I am really worried that this whole awful situation is dragging on so long and there has been no new owner found and I just wonder if this is a tactic of the administrators to wear us all out. I think by draggin it on like this they are hoping that a decent % of current season ticket holders will (understandably) not renew for neat season and then it becomes an easier option to liquidate as there will only be a small revenue stream in place for next season. I have a real fear that if we become a 'newco' there will be a lot of indifference shown by current fans and any season ticket uptake will be modest (I reckon under 10,000 at the moment). If this happens it is oblivion for us.

Can anyone see the necessity in having a 50,000 seater stadium if, for example, we are playing in the Third Division (which is now looking like a real possibility)? In all honesty who would go and see the 'new' Rangers....

Believable2 Unbelievable10

I will follow on newco or not, anybody that doesn't should be ashamed of themselves! There is different variations to newco, we may not lose history. Leeds Utd could not agree a CVA and effectively started a newco but transferred all assets thus retaining the history of the company. This would not be too bad. At the end of the day guys we re Rangers fans and are the best fans in the world, I've supported the Gers all my life and won't stop regardless. Even if they do lose history, if the still play at ibrox etc, same fans, same colors, same players, then who cares its the same club and will be in a really good position debt free. 3 years later we are back champions! A CVA is obviously the preferred option but if this is not agreed then its isn't necessarily the end of the world.

RTID

J

Agree5 Disagree4

You got a cheek telling anyone 'they should be ashamed of themselves' a bit strong from a supporter of a downright scandalous and rancid club of all proportions

Agree3 Disagree4

Who cares? Try the small businesses owed money - but suppose main thing is getting away with having to pay debts with "dignity" intact eh!

Agree2 Disagree2

Best fans in world? Don't contribute to share issues can only raise £25000 in RFFF and think waving red cards is a fantastic demonstration?! Yep fantastic!

Agree3 Disagree2

Leeds did get a CVA

Agree0 Disagree0

Best fans in the world? fans who glory in millions dying in a famine, fans who rioted and were the cause of rangers being the only club who were banned from defending a euro trophy, who rioted at another euro final, and a club with a trail of debt a mile long.yea, your a special club.just hurry up and vanish

Only raise 25000 away and do your research before spouting off !

The longer a High Court decision takes, the Better it traditionally is for HMRC.
And this case is going on forever.
What has leaked to the press so far makes for dire reading and almost unfathomable defense. Also the calculations of EBT liabilities, interest and fines would stretch the timing out.
If Rangers were in the clear, it would've taken a day to say so.

Believable3 Unbelievable6

What "High Court" decision ?
