Yes another poor result tonight - one of many.

But it doesn't matter - matches are all "dead rubbers" - we are already in the playoffs.

Frankly 2nd or 3rd doesn't matter either

McCall needs run of games

maybe extra 2 required to ensure we don't believe the talk in papers that it will be easy for us because "training" games going so well.

What matters in our results in the playoff "mixer" rather win through these games than tonight!

If McCall fails in Dumfries again that will be another matter otherwise he had to play with what he "got" and good luck to him!

What papers are saying it's going to be easy? Frankly 2 or 3rd does matter. The team have been playing all season as if it's been dead rubbers. The team have been a disgraceful all season and frankly deserve nothing this season . They have short changed the fans and no wonder fans aren't returning in any great numbers

Finishing 2nd does matter. Two less games to play.

I take your point

But fans have been short changed for 3 /4 seasons!

There is light at the end of the tunnel with McCall.

Clear point winning last night was irrelevant for promotion - we have to win playoffs - easy way or hard way.

If it is the hard way (3 ties) so be it!

If we cannot win over 3 ties (3 wins 3 draws even goal difference would be enough) we do not deserve to go up and we can all cut these players to pieces when we throw them out.

Every time Rangers don't win it is a "big surprise" in the papers - soon as we beat Hibs & Hearts we are "world beaters" & "Certs" to win promotion. They all laugh at us when we continue to stumble!

Watched the game last night and woeful is an understatement,Mark Burchill thought and believed they would've taken all three points and was dissapointed not to do so,SM was happy with a point at a team languishing at the foot of the table, one away win in 5,hardly the form to get you through a playoff,I sincerely do like Stuart Mccall and yes he can only work with the TOOLS? at hand, but not sure now he should get the gig on a permanent basis, agree with most on dumping all the deadwood and moving away from an ex player as our manager, obviously finances are going to dictate are way forward or not. Flying up Saturday for the Dumbarton game and we simply must do better, with our current form and squad of players second is imperative the least amount of games in the playoff the better.

Agree0 Disagree0

16 Apr 2015 09:07:08
Can you please provide a link from a paper that's claimed we are world beaters after the victories ove Hibs and Hearts?

Agree2 Disagree2

15 Apr 2015 22:21:08
do rangers mangers have a problem with sticking with a winning team changed once again to allow jig to play seriously getting bit sick of it all out contract players in summer should be droped from squad never mind the team they are useless on this season form we will have to be very lucky to go up mccall good apointment short term not long term though we need a manger who has contacts in the game and wants to play youth warburton and weir are my choice or ronald deboer we need a new structure and set up but to acheive this u need the foreign coaches to teach the young players and scouts to spot the talent warburton and weir are a no brainer

Believable2 Unbelievable6

15 Apr 2015 23:39:29
Craigs8688,don't mention warburton & weir as our possible new management team or gkk will be on to you to tell you its no chance of happening just like he told me when I also said warburton & weir were very highly regarded and very much in the frame to be the next management team at ibrox, the board really rate these 2 and have strong support within the corridors of power at rangers

16 Apr 2015 01:03:27
Our team aren't fit, thts why the changes.

There is no chance of Warburton coming to rangers if the papers are right about English teams looking at him!

Agree0 Disagree0

16 Apr 2015 14:26:26
hooly78 warburton would have a chance to build a team at rangers and get them back competing again at the highest level so why wouldn't he not want to come to rangers there is a bigger chance of this than you think he is capable of building a team mccall done this at motherwell but rangers are a whole diffrent kettle of fish at likes of players he signed for motherwell will not cut it at rangers
also saying he was happy with draw at livinstone bottom of table didn't do hi any favours that is not rangers standard I would be fuming at the players stadium still ain't full either so fans still staying away short term mccall a smart move but not longterm

Agree1 Disagree3

mate Humphrey for Motherwell now plays for Preston. that isn't bad, also give me a player that we once had, that realistically we could afford now.

Agree0 Disagree0

15 Apr 2015 21:46:45
Disgraceful. no positives at all. I agree with previous posters who I felt were being harsh when they said we should empty all but two or 3 players. absolutely agree that all of mature players, bar Vuckic, Wallace and McGregor should be papped. keep Murdoch, Hardie, Walsh, but Crawford, Hutton et al never going to make it. McCall will work a miracle if he gets us to play the Premier team, never mind beat them. can't see how we can get through this, players simply aren't up to it, and are constantly being outfought/outrun/out thought by players who aren't even full time. grim stuff.

We don't deserve anything from this season and from a footballing point of view both Hibs and QOS have more to offer the SPFL than we do. What a sad state of affairs when we have worse head to head records with Hibs and QOS and are worried about the prospect of going down to Palmerston in the play offs. Most teams in the league have taken points off us to only have beaten Alloa once in 5 attempts is embarrassing. This team are a disgrace and the sooner the vast majority are shown the door the better

15 Apr 2015 21:41:56
Fed up of this anyone out of contract at the end of the season should be shown the door no ifs or buts.

Can't see us getting up now after another poor display, maybe for the best we don't & have a clear-out & I don't think wee McCall will get the job now.

First half been poor. no width, no creativity. familiar story. at least try Daly, Clark and Miller torture. can't seem to run without ball hitting their arse or ear. Livvi, as usual, running like demons. need to change it Stu, this isn't working

15 Apr 2015 20:50:13
Clarks had his chance, why can't he control aa simple pass. They look tired already too.Hardie on for Clark I hope.

Would like to see us play with Walsh and Templeton out wide put black in next to murdy and give law a bit of freedom

Replying to my own post in sheer frustration. Livvi running us ragged. got to change Clark or Miller. like watching two 12 year olds in an adult game. this mob are reegation fodder, and we're labouring. mind you,on brighter note,MCulloch off pitch at moment.

Agree0 Disagree0

15 Apr 2015 21:31:33
Now we have to put up with them wasting time because we can't put them away. Another dismal away performance.really beginning to doubt if we can get through these play offs to even get a chance at Motherwell or whoever. players aren't up to it,but McCall waited too long to change, especially Clark and Miller. and they look as though they have more players than us on the pitch. just unacceptable to be outrun by a team like this. piss poor.

LANI

I have been saying this for a while about Clark. He runs about but does little else he has hardly scored in the league and it's obvious he isn't even championship standard let alone Premiership standard. However he is in good company with the rest of the wasters in the team. We deserve nothing form this season and it will be a travesty if a team as poor as ours scrapes into the top league

Why is this plum back in team?if he has a play when fit contract, why can't he accept that he adds nothing to the team and opt out?.a carthorse even when he was in his prime,he's the slowest player in the Championship. God knows what the young Rangers players think.

15 Apr 2015 20:46:44
Yup young Crawford dropped for jig

15 Apr 2015 18:57:10
McCulloch back in the team tonight and Crawford steps down. Let's hope Jig doesn't make any more blunders. I wonder why McCall brought McCulloch back? We must get six points from our next two games (Livingston tonight and Dumbarton at the weekend).

We need a ball playing centre half Van Dijk like player in our team

Believable2 Unbelievable3

15 Apr 2015 16:04:45
Isn't gasparotto this kind of player?

Agree2 Disagree0

15 Apr 2015 16:07:00
personally I believe Van Dijk isn't meant for Centre Half, I believe he would be better suited to a CDM role. any big player that can play centre half like Van Dijk is a player you want in your team as he is versatile, he could go into midfield defensively or play in defence, it's refreshing to see. but quite right mate, we do need a player like that.

Agree2 Disagree1

15 Apr 2015 16:36:38
Overrated.been found out in almost all their European games. bit like Boumsong was with us.need a centre back, agree. what about Mark Reynolds?good in air,bit of pace.

15 Apr 2015 20:22:19
Said he was overrated, another bhoy who can't read a post properly. Van Djik won't be playing for you much longer, never mind us. get used to it. Reynolds a decent player, would take him in a minute, as would you I suspect, once Denayer and Van Djik are offski. unless you're OK with Ambrose.

Looking at the write up for the development team win against Dundee utd, seems Gallacher and Gasporotto playing well. Anyone any thoughts as to why they are not in the 1st team squad?

Believable1 Unbelievable0

15 Apr 2015 12:04:07
Gasparotto is at Airdrie on loan. Mccall may not rate Gallagher? Or may think hardie is a better prospect?

Agree3 Disagree2

15 Apr 2015 15:04:41
Gallacher had a successful loan spell at Cowdenbeath and scored 5 goals and he must be a better option than Boyd at the moment but we also have Hardie and McCall rates him highly.

Agree0 Disagree0

15 Apr 2015 16:04:52
Yes Gallagher is good but hardies potential is unreal, hardies is banging them in for the u20's! season before that he scored 40 odd goals despite being injured for 3 months
