I like singing Alfredo Morelos and I can see he is trying as well as much leaner. I want the boy to do well but 6 - 7mil I would let him go as he doesn’t hit the ball clean or connect good enough, he tends to scuff shots more. Hopefully that’ll come but would like a better striker in soon and attacking mid.

I think the fascination mostly comes from him joining the likes of Messi, aguero, pogba, and maradona in winning the golden ball at the under 20 world cup. His scoring record at senior level is poor though. He clearly needs games, which he won't get at liverpool. We'd give him 30-40 appearances in a season, probably 20 odd starts. It should be a win all round for us, Liverpool and the player.

Had a read there and not too justify it but the story reads ‘10 year old with bottle ‘ in large capital letters then at the bottom of the story reads - was hit with a PLASTIC bottle - again not to justify anything as any missile thrown is unacceptable but at the beginning of the story I thought oh god a child smashed in the face with a glass bottle that’s very bad then once I read the story I realised there probably wasn’t any serious injury and the story has been blown out of proportion yet again!

If a bottle was thrown by us and it hit a 10yr old girl then that is deplorable and the fans should report whoever done it👍 whether or not serious injury was caused is irrelevant and if it was a minor injury then that does not mean the story has been blown out of proportion either. Disgusting and must be condemned👍.
{Ed001's Note - a plastic cup just caused a serious injury to a linesman in a European game a few days ago by hitting him on the head when it was full. A plastic bottle which was half full or more could easily do serious damage to someone's head, especially a child. The weight of the liquid is the issue, not the material it is made from.}

What if it had been a water balloon full of beer, would it still make the news? How many kids complain to the press after a water balloon fight. Hi guys . right I used to steward at the games at ibrox and it's quite difficult to have your eye on so many people at the one time . The main way of dealing with unacceptable behaviour is other fans pointing it out and then we could deal with it in an appropriate manner.

Has anyone else noticed the one thing all our signings since S. G. took over, have in common is speed. I'm counting Mcgregor, Arfield and Murphy as pre S. G. Goldson fast, Katic very fast and Barasic fast. Even the 4 loanees are quick as well. add that to the work-ethic S. G. demands and their quality other teams are going to have to work hard to match us.

Bluepete, Gerrard and Mark Allen have basically bought in modern day athletes. Strong, powerful and explosive.
I believe that Gerrard’s philosophy is similar to that of Walters. = you might beat us with skill, but you won’t beat us physically or mentally. Both latter are so important in sport and have been forgotten about with our last couple of managers.
Perfect example is why Declan John was sold. He’s a great wee player, skilful and quick etc, but he’s too lightweight and cannot defend. Would you rather Flanagan or John starting at the piggery?

Really excited but still nervous for tomorrow night lads, hopefully we can finish the job and a goal will do it I believe. IF we get through then we have exceeded my European expectations massively this season although the draw has been fair to us TBH. Never did I think we had a chance of even a playoff round tie and now here it is, hopefully we go through tomorrow and another few bob in the coffers. I think if we can get through and have a decent result first leg in the playoff then money could be made available to do some deadline day business with some Euro cash available, first team starters not squad fillers.

Can anyone confirm Sadiq was booked yesterday for diving? I read when he joined he can be brilliant or awful within minutes and goes down too easily. Diving drives me nuts and not the Rangers' way. Coaches need to set him straight.

3 match reports would all have been from 1 source, I would imagine. That's usually the way at lesser matches. Papers give random names to phantom reporters a lot of the time. Anyway, give the big guy a chance to settle. We have heard he can be erratic and unpredictable, a la Ted McMinn, but he won us a few games back in the day! # let's go.

Since we've used the Croatian market quite successfully this summer, is anyone aware of any other centre backs from that league that could be an option to come in? I don't think we'll have much luck targeting the english leagues since they can't replace outgoings now and will be reluctant to sell.

I know someone who lives in Croatia, in Rijeka to be exact. He's a regular at their home games and has spoken about their centre half Dario Zuparic as a player. I know nothing about him, but my mate knows football and seems to rate this guy quite highly.

Morelos is the 1st choice striker. Lafftery and sadiq will fight it out for 2nd choice. Unless he puts him out wide which indont see happening. Will lose pace out wide. If our current situation with Celtic was a boxing match we'd be instructed to go in for the kill, they are on the canvas and we need to keep the momentum and not give them an inch to make the 10 count. That starts with not dropping any points until the old firm and then going for the win at piggery, none of this nonsense of settling for a draw, none of this showing them respect or feeling inferior to any one member of their squad. I've been quite reserved now for a few years regarding all this talk of going for 55 or getting the next old firm win but i firmly believe now is the time, we have shown in a very short space of time with a new team we are more than capable of hitting them where it hurts AND IT STARTS NOW!

I agree with all the sentiments expressed above. If Lafferty does join, will SG go for Morelos and Lafferty up front at the piggery next month? As for the 'missing' players, Holt was hard done by, gave his all. Halliday, I've already stated gives 110% and could be useful now and again. Rossiter is class but injury prone to say the least but I disagree about Dorrans. Played in the right position when he is fit he is a very good player. Arfield and Couibally have added craft and steel to the midfield this season but we need a big squad, especially if we stay in Europe beyond Christmas. A final note - if the manky mob qualify for the Europa League group stages and so do we, would we be kept apart in the group stages and could we then in theory be drawn against one another in the knockout stages?
