when are all you fans going to realise we don't need new players, we don't need the backroom mob, we don't need McCulloch, Sheils, Cribari, Simonsen or Wallace, and most of all we don't need a seriously overpaid manager. We don't need any of the above in order to win league 1, but we DO need to re-assess the situation at the end of the season!

Wee Bill

Believable0 Unbelievable0

End of the season is just over three months away bill, will we need them then?

JG

Agree0 Disagree0

Debatable JG but we have to survive as a priority first. The championship should be achievable and by next Jan we could maybe start planning for the top league, but I really do think by that time we need King or McColl's cash to boost our chances

wee bill

Agree0 Disagree0

What don't you just cut you cloth! How many times. And here's a thought- so what if you didn't fly Up the leagues? But got there slowly building a decent team of unknowns/kids. Is that so bad a prospect. I won't bother trying to persuade or suggest alternatives. There are none so blind as those who won't see

Agree0 Disagree0

We are leaking money on a daily basis and the rats are still not leaving the sinking ship so King or McColl have no intrest in buying into the share issue at this point.
They will wait unfortunatly due to their and others concerns that any money being invested is going straight out into others pockets and not wholly the club.
Unfortunatly I can't see anyone investing money into an ailing buisness that leaks money so heavily?hopefully i'm wrong.
Our ground needs investment our team will need investment if to compete in Europe etc and that will cost more money than the previous 2 seasons, which can only mean more debt eventually? and we have no bank handing out loans etc, so there is the conundrum?who wishes to invest their money with no return or chances of getting it back?
As for King and co, if it gets as bad as a further admin then fan ownership is the way forward. Fan owned will mean openess and accountability for the first time in many many years, intresting period upto the summer can invisage old names etc being carted out asking fans for funding and early buy of season tickets. do we or don't we??that is the major question.

Agree0 Disagree0

JG we will waltz into the SPFL, playoffs mean we don't even need to win leagues, but can come 2/3/4 and then win the playoffs

we will have two leg games, with home leg and 50,000 audience, a huge advantage over all other teams, also £14m training ground. its a cake walk

issue is we need to get to SPLF and have some war chest. and you have supported every move by the board in last year to whittle the £22m to nothing. odd that.

you keep urging fans to buy shares and take control, but Zues Hughes with 3% stake sold lock stock and barrel, at lowest price in 18mths.

odd that?

guess he needs to pay his jan self assessment tax bill.

spivs have 30% of shares still unplaced, so anyone buying GERS now needs to pay £40m for something only worth £19m.

odd that. its all rigged. for a tax loss.

odd that!

Do you think rangers will get the sell on fee from Everton that they will be due from the jelavic sale?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed039's Note - Oldco will)

15 Jan 2014 21:00:30
so the 3 million share sold yesterday was the top boy at zeus capital, a suspected tax dodger and fraudster. Even though shares fell by 16 million in value he made 500k profit. Enter Dave King to purchase the shares for pennys The board must go Charlie Green is still incharge puppet master.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed039's Note - I have said before, Dave King is waiting to pick up the pieces on the cheap. The cinic in me believes that was what his meetings with Craig Mather were about, run it into the ground, take what you can boys and I will be the knight in shining armour coming to the rescue)

Replied earlier that I thought Dave King was buying shares, but think your right Ed, makes
good business sense if the guy rides to the clubs rescue.
not only does he get the club for buttons but all the plaudits from the fans for seeing off the spivs.
problem being are they going to wait for season ticket money,
so they can have another go at the till or go in march before audited accounts are due to be submitted.
no accounts in march no licence to play next season

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed039's Note - Thats not true about the accounts, the ones in March are just interim results, so it would make no difference)

How does the sale of these shares show in anyway green still running things??

Agree0 Disagree0

NBTS, so everyone should be happy, that's what we want, the original investors to sell up and move on, is it not? That's now Ahmed green and Hughes sold up and the 500k does not affect rangers in anyway

The shares have been bought by
Schweco Nominees Limited (on behalf of Damille Investments II Limited)

So unless king is using that company for his investments, Then it wasn't him who bought the 2.2 million shares

@2 good question mate

JG

Agree0 Disagree0

N2 charlieboy still owns his shares he and amhed have stockbridge in there running the show and why you doubt this is beyond me starve them out

Agree0 Disagree0

N1 the easiest thing to do is don't renew starve them out ime dying to see the back of these barsteward and believe the only option is starve them out get guys that we know guys that have the club at heart runing the club get these unknown asset robbers

Agree0 Disagree0

@4 go to stock exchange website and read all the "holding in the company" announcements for RIFC, especially for September, October and January

these announcements are required by lse rules when someone buys or sells shares and they

already own over 3%

Or

The trade will take them over or below the 3% threshold

JG

Agree0 Disagree0

N6 I don't see what you are getting at I've looked at site and my thoughts are no diffrent as to who runs our club

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed>only repeating what I read in paper today it says "Rangers must go through a audit process for the SFA`s licensing committee and accounts need to be lodged by 31st March before the governing body can renew the clubs licence.
are these different accounts Ed?
BLUEBEARD

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed039's Note - The accounts will have been lodged, audited accounts were produced late last year, unless SFA have their own guys who do this for them?)

Fellow bears. what players do you think will either be told to try and find another club or just come to an agreement to get them off the wage bill

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed039's Note - Shiels & Cribari are 2 absolute stick ons for me, I suspect fringe players such as Simonsen, Stevie Smith & Kyle Hutton could be amongst those to be moved on, I dont think any agreements will be made with players to get them off the wage bill because that would mean imediate expenditure. Lee Wallace is very likely to be sold if enough cash can be raised from his departure)

Ed I agree with part of your answer to n1 but if enough move on I hope sheilds and wallace stay

Agree0 Disagree0

15 Jan 2014 18:18:03
I see ally was in discussion with big jig? Could he be next to move on?
I suspect he will either be asked to drop wages or he will be let go on a free to save a wage.

The club I hear are in desperate condition regarding cash flow, are the bills being paid on time? I hear they are being kept back for as long as possible! Stalling tactics, the morale at the clubs staff is a rock bottom. With NO consultation between staff and management! When will the club sort this shambles out and get the club back on a level footing and let the fans know what is happening.

I think if the supporters where kept in the loop it would stop any misinformation raising it's ugly head.

Over to you graham.

RR

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed039's Note - Jig would take a wage cut to stay, I have no doubt about that, but as captain Jig should be having regular dialogue with the manager anyway, not just in the current situation, maybe he was asking questions on behalf of players? There is no doubt some worried guys in the dressing room and the skipper is their go to guy)

@ed39 ed I agree with you regarding big jig wanting to stay as I think we could squeeze another season from him, and as you say he would walk on hot coals to stay. I suspect the hierarchy will try and move him not sure if he is the highest earner? But it would be sad if that happened. And you could be right about dialogue with the gaffer but why go to the stadium to have a chat with ally? Just saying!

RR

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed039's Note - For the reasons noted, on behalf of the players, if Ally has been told to trim the wage bill then some guys will be wanting to know when, why and who? If Jig isnt the highest earner then he wont be very far off of it RR)

RR so are you giving us mis information with what you hear or is what you have posted 100% correct mate

JG

Agree0 Disagree0

@1 and ED. Mr Wallace will have to be dispassionate about this exercise to (1) keep us going until the end of the season but also because of our city masters. (2) If Jig or anyone else is within the the top two or three big earners and Gasparatto or much lower cost others will be able to fill in at centre half or any position - next season then big Jig's or others departure would be one of the easier decisions. However given that our spectacularly unsuccessful business model has not changed much since we went T#ts up there maybe more bad news for Ally.
Bill Miller's "black hole" in the finances is it still there or is it possibly even worse now?
When wee Dick black mailed Murray into building Murray Park the cheque book management should have disappeared within a couple of years. It didn't and we are where we are. Our costs are lower but our earnings are much lower and will be for at least 2 more years.
Yes Ally and all his mates in management and most players earn too much. Yes the "spivs" as we call them have probably helped themselves to too much in salary and bonuses and utterly mismanaged the IPO costs but how much does Ibrox and Murray Park cost per year?
Ibrox is too small and getting quite old with higher annual maintenance costs. Murray Park is huge with huge rates, heating, lighting and salary costs.
The interim results with little cost cutting and little further income will show the rate of loss reducing but probably little else. If Wallace can keep us going until next season and tells Ally not to miss out on talented youngsters with a 7 month increase in value of £1.5 million and persuade our manager that Murray Park must produce players making up a much higher proportion of our starting 11 then he will do for me.

Agree0 Disagree0

@2 JG I think you will find my information is pretty accurate, and has been consistent for some time. Ask the ED0039 as he was on the button yesterday. Their is no doubt rangers are in very serious trouble cash flow wise, if you don't believe me then that is fine but I don't really want to say later on "I told you so" I want our club to be better than they are now and to get rid of the SPIVS but they simply won't go until they have taken every penny they can! With the players now refusing to a wage cut it is almost inevitable that their will be massive staff cuts, and guess what it won't be the higher management or internal SPIVS or hidden consultants who will be leaving! It will be the innocent, loyal, hard working staff who have given tears and blood to this great club.

Why won't the management level take a pay cut? I am definitely with the players on this one when the management refuse a pay cut. Get rid of the consultants and save a fortune, get rid of MEDIA HOUSE and toxic jack and save a fortune, get rid of Stockbridge and the sleasdales and save a fortune.

They then compound the issue to then employ ANOTHER consultant to tell them how to save money.

You really couldn't make this up!

Good news to read that Luca Gasparotto has been selected to train with the Canadian national team in Florida at only 18 years of age. It says something positive about Murray Park and the potential value of players coming through it.

Kyle McAusland and Barry McKay will hopefully return from loan and play first team this season. I'm starting to get the feeling that the share price is a steal at this level.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

The 3 guys you have mentioned can't get a game for rangers in the 2nd division, these guys won't be part of rangers team in premiership

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed039's Note - Luca is well liked and is one for the future for sure. He is not far off the first team)

Why is he not getting a game now then ed? Surely playing for us now would give him the experience needed? I doubt he's in the long term plans TBH.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed039's Note - He isnt getting a game because McCulloch and Mohsni are the first choice pairing, he is highly rated and has been sent on loan to get some game time under his belt)

Sweep when the league is tied up I would expect to see this young guy getting a few games in the first team, that would be the best time to bring more youth in to the team
