1-3 ramorra-----bring it on and good luck to the boys in the coming season--oh and how come everytime I come on here roy rogers is on the wee screen on the right----.

15 Jul 2016 22:28:49
I think I would have liked to have seen Barton's auld team-mate from Burnley, Welsh
international Sam Vokes - don't think he was exactly getting a first team game regularly at
Turf Moor - but looks like a natural goalscorer.

15 Jul 2016 22:43:07
Would take vokes for sure just can't see it happening.

15 Jul 2016 22:23:54
young Ghanaian striker signs from Leicester - what a name - Joe Dodoo!
Swedish Central Defender released by Watford Joel Eksrand 27 yr old anybody heard anything more on whether or not he is signing?
Finally, a young Finnish winger currently on trial any more on him?

15 Jul 2016 23:56:26
Hitc said we "should" go for him mate but that doesn't mean we will or should.

15 Jul 2016 21:52:03
Just watched warburtons press conference, first of the guy continues to ooze class and professionalism, couldn't have a better gaffer. However, why wouldn't windass be starting tomorrow?

{Ed041's Note - I really like Warburton mate. Did you know he used to be just a PE teacher?

15 Jul 2016 22:04:03
That will be the Celtic fans calling him the pe teacher next change up from the city trader.

15 Jul 2016 22:29:47
Said on here many a time that we're very lucky to have mark 'the magic hat' warburton as our manager but at the same time he's lucky to be the manager of the famous glasgow rangers, its a 2 way respect thing here, what he's building at rangers is a revolution with his complete restructuring of our institution, imo an even bigger revolution than souness in '86 with a helluva less budget, our manager does ooze class as well as big davie weir and the terrific frank mcparland, we're in terrific hands fellow bears!

15 Jul 2016 23:09:50
Great Post WB15. Think this will be a key point in our history. The comparison with the Souness revolution is interesting and I think the MW Revolution will be of more historical significance, if (and it's a big IF) we continue to implement all aspects of strategy both on and off pitch. The Souness revolution was characterised by spending large sums to create success, and we all lived the dream and enjoyed that period. All aspects and structures of the football club are now being challenged and aligned. The tone and content of the MW press conference earlier was superb. We are building strong foundations and doing things correctly. The leadership provided by the Board and DK will be critical.

15 Jul 2016 21:53:08
I don't normally do this type of thing but, how about to the tune of the Adams Family, Joey Dodoo, (clap clap) , Joey Dodoo. etc.

{Ed041's Note - Make sure its your last time please, that was shocking :)

15 Jul 2016 22:05:11
Even for 10 o'clock on a Friday night that is shocking. Only kidding. Sure we could work up some lyrics about Lincoln Imps and the corgi plumber?

Can't wait for tomorrow. Motherwell and Scott McDonald are up for it, should be a great game.

15 Jul 2016 23:03:08
He's lanky and he's silky,
he tends to take the milky,
he's pulling on the jersey,
his name is Joe Dodoo!

Joey Dodoo (clap, clap) Joey Dodoo (clap clap) Joey Dodoo, Joey Dodoo, Joey Dodoo (clap clap)

Haha.

{Ed041's Note - still shocking.

15 Jul 2016 23:10:45
Its ok Ed, I've had a word with myself. I'm sure I'm in for a right slagging anyhow!

{Ed041's Note - it's ok just2see saved you ;)

15 Jul 2016 23:12:22
There once was a team called the Imps.
It was thought they'd be right a bunch of gimps.
They played a gas fitter but Celtic were shitter,
and looked like a right bunch of chimps.

15 Jul 2016 23:50:52
This is honestly the worst post I have ever read.

16 Jul 2016 00:33:40
After he scores
Let's all do the conga let's all do the conga
Dodoo dodoo dodoo dodoo.

16 Jul 2016 00:33:40
After he scores
Let's all do the conga let's all do the conga
Dodoo dodoo dodoo dodoo.

16 Jul 2016 00:41:03
Hahaha. That's the spirit lads. It's outta control now Ed!

16 Jul 2016 07:38:38
Could not resist

Do do do do Da da da da - Song by the Police early 80's.

16 Jul 2016 08:15:55
Before we know it, it'll be the pink panther theme tune. Dodoo, dodoo, dodoo, dodoo, dodoo, dodoo, dodoooooooo.

16 Jul 2016 10:08:50
that could work.

15 Jul 2016 20:40:27

15 Jul 2016 20:09:53
The team tomorrow isn't likely to have any new signings start, or will Clint Hill play in place of Wilson?

Foderingham

Tavernier-Wilson-Keirnan-Wallace

Holt-Halliday-Forrester

15 Jul 2016 20:31:37

Waghorns doing well playing and being a sub.

15 Jul 2016 17:59:37
Absolutely delighted with the dodoo signing on a permanent deal, the boy undoubtedly has potential, I wasn't too chuffed when I was to believe it was a loan deal and this was our main striker but to hear warburton saying we could sign another striker fills me with confidence. This boy is no where near the finished article but has bags of potential, there is still a long time to go I this transfer window, i think we should have a look at Scott wooton, as far as I'm led to believe he's free to leave Leeds. My confidence is high for this season. Especially after seeing the Sellick failing to beat the gimps! READY!

15 Jul 2016 20:02:17
He's not officially signed yet but he will and it will be on a permanent deal. Hope we still sign marriapa.

15 Jul 2016 21:59:44
Mariappa would be the icing on the cake for me but in MW'S interview today he inferred he was also chasing another striker and it didn't sound to me like he was taking about Dodoo. That would be the cherry on top. Any thoughts?

15 Jul 2016 17:15:42
watch gaffers press conference, the man is different class. confirms that hopes to have doddo tied up early next wk, perm deal, sees him as central striker that can play out wide if needed, also says may bring in another stiker ontop of him and a CB.

Halliday press conf, asking about daddo, says hopefully he can score a hatrick for us on his debut! Whhooppssiiee cat out the bag then lol!

Seems all but a done deal!

15 Jul 2016 18:04:36
Yes great, class and gravitas in spades.

Unlike last season there will be no natural/ obvious selections, competition and pressure in every position.

Walsh, Thomson and Hardie will go out on loan to get competitive game time.

NIko to get some game time tomorrow off the bench.

15 Jul 2016 18:41:53
The boss oozes class and gives you total confidence in all he says, and his greatest gift he delivers what he says. For this DK and his board must take full credit for their support.
There are still hurdles to climb off the park, but the way our team is shaping up, must give us total confidence for the new season.

15 Jul 2016 22:02:24
Anyone thinking we ought to be nailing down Frank McP to a long term deal also? That guy is going to make us some serious cash.

15 Jul 2016 17:06:28
Anybody heard anything about how things stand with the BBC. Have not heard anything, are they now providing service from Ibrox?

15 Jul 2016 18:25:34
Fair question but honestly couldn't care less. I'm all for moving on, but this shower has diligently stuck tr boot in whenever possible. Quite happy for them to stay away, especially Messrs McLaughlin and English. Oh and Nevin. And Cosgrove. And Cowan. The list goes on.

15 Jul 2016 19:15:19
DK said in one of his Question and answers that they have tried to mend bridges with the BBC but they refuse.

15 Jul 2016 20:44:23
Thanks, think media content and unprofessionalism of the Senior Football Reporter Mr McLaughlin is the main problem.

15 Jul 2016 16:50:43
Anyone thought that dodoo might not be THE striker the hat was talking about yeah he is massively linked but maybe he has someone else more exciting in mind, there is another month and a half nearly of the transfer window and whose to say there is definitely only going to be 2 signings, there could be another 3/ 4 or so for all we know.

15 Jul 2016 16:59:14
I'd be happy if dodoo was the striker MW has been talking about. He's an exciting young talent. If he signs, I think all the coaching staffs efforts should go into finding the CH we desperately need. Saying that, I'm happy regardless. Think we've got enough now to make a real challenge until the January transfer window opens.

15 Jul 2016 16:11:55
New to this forum. Find it funny that profanities are changed to something less, eh, profane. My favourite so far is changing the word (rhymes with fheast) to 'person'. Hahahahaha

Aye maybe on the Selkirk forums they're just a 'person' but not here my friend. Not here.

{Ed041's Note - welcome

15 Jul 2016 16:45:15
Haha 😬.

15 Jul 2016 16:02:09
Ir dodoo was that good he would b playing in premiership I wouldn't get to excited but good luck to him hopefully I am wrong.

15 Jul 2016 16:33:02
He is a young player. Playing for a team that just won the title, with Mahrez, Okazaki, Vardy and co ahead of him.

When you consider someone like Soriano, who was touted by many people on here to be an excellent target to go for, and rightly so, was playing for Barcelona B for 3 seasons before moving to Salzburg and scoring very nearly a goal a game over the past 5 seasons. There are many players out there playing in obscure leagues around the world due to being included in large squads that cannot offer them game time, just waiting for the opportunity to go somewhere that will give them a chance to shine.

Who's to say Dodoo cannot do exactly that with us?

15 Jul 2016 15:27:40
How do you embed a video from Youtube onto this forum?

How much of the url is used and what goes around the url, etc?

{Ed033's Note - just type in the url, or on youtube, look under the video for the link called, 'Embed' and post the code containing iframe under 'Embed'.

15 Jul 2016 15:44:35
So like this?

15 Jul 2016 14:14:49
I would like to throw this question out there to all fellow bears and indeed the ED, being total unbiased and completely honest here do u reckon rangers will win the scottish premiership league title in our first year back in it? In percentages what do you reckon our realistic chances are guys?

{Ed041's Note - it will be tough mate, Celtic have better players for me. That's where I'd put my money anyway. U have an outside chance though. I like Warburton and think he could build u into challenges season after.

15 Jul 2016 14:58:03
I think when you look at the current squads of the teams that will be up there then I think rangers actually have the better all round squad though Celtic do have the stand out player in Leigh Griffths. I do think Rangers will challenge this year but it is very hard to predict as we do not know what will happen to certain players and who else will be brought in.
With current squads I think Rangers starting 11 will be
Foderingham
Wallace
Kirenan
Tav
Rossiter
Barton
Holt
Mckay
waghorn
Forrester.

15 Jul 2016 14:58:24
I reckon we are building a strong squad and should be challenging my worry is the games away against hearts etc the players will be up for the old firm ones but rainy monday night against the sheep i hope so, i reckon we have a good chance.

15 Jul 2016 14:59:10
I love the prospect of this season. Celtic HAVE to win this season whereas we can aim to win the league but finishing 2nd-4th majority of fans will be satisfied.

15 Jul 2016 15:08:08
Playing with the handicap of having to travel to Celtic, Aberdeen and Hearts away twice each, with Celtic getting the more favourable outcome with their timetable, we will still win the league at a canter. I honestly believe this. We are on the rise and everything is positive, I firmly feel that this season is going to be something special. I don't care who they sign, if and when we add 1 more CB to the squad, we will have a squad capable of dominating the SPL this season. The quality of our signings are going to shock many people once we get going, just wait for it.

15 Jul 2016 15:08:36
celtic are a team coming to an end and now going into a new phase. we have started this last year.

it will be hard to win the title but we have just as much chance as any other team.

plus let's not forget about aberdeen, hearts. etc as there will be hard games when travelling to inverness in oct, ross county in nov, different type of teams who will be more physical than us

put the points on the board and welcome the chase!

15 Jul 2016 15:16:58
I think a season in the top flight to "calibrate" and then a realistic assualt on title the season after this. Despite our new style of recruitment our wage bill will still be 2nd highest in the league - and some considerable distance ahead of 3rd. For that reason I think that 2nd is a realistic expectation and will be disappointed with less.

I also think that where we end up depends on how Celtic perform under Rogers - which is currently an unknown. It's difficult to see them perform as badly as this week or last season - although they are still champions for all that.

So for me, I do think we have a chance of winning the league but don't expect us to. I'm a natural pessimist to avoid disappointment, however.

15 Jul 2016 15:21:12
celtic are by far the bookies favourites at 'four to one on' but they were favourites in the cup semi-final. It has been mentioned that we travel away twice to all our serious contenders before the break. We will have a good idea of the outcome at Xmas and if in contention we may have to add to the squad because rest assured the other side will. Bring it on.

15 Jul 2016 15:29:25
Before the signings we have made it would have said maybe a 30/ 40% chance of winning the league. However, with what we have now compared to what they have at this moment I would now say we have a 70/ 80% chance.
I firmly believe we have the better squad and without doubt the better management team.

15 Jul 2016 16:22:03
I agree with ed, our squad is getting better but it's the defence that worries me, middle to front looks superb, I think the season after this one is more realistic for us, but one thing I do know is the guys will give their all in every match, I'm really excited for this season all I'm saying is if we don't win it this year its not the end of the world, the club is building very nicely after the **** that had our club for three years before this board.

{Ed041's Note - a bit of stability should be good for Rangers this season, build a team that works for each other.

15 Jul 2016 16:27:59
ED I think Aberdeen or Hearts could win the league this season. I think if there is any season it is this season as Celtic have an absolute donkey as a manager. I agree they have better players but they have the most over rated manager you could ask for. I would have put money on them if they got anyone else as manager.

{Ed041's Note - Although i agree with you on the manager I still cant see anyone but Celtic winning. Hearts or Aberdeen no chance for me mate.

15 Jul 2016 16:34:37
All eds good for is censoring your posts or just no posting them at all.

{Ed041's Note - post something worth while and it gets posted. Stuff like this doesn't help.

15 Jul 2016 17:12:38
Ed you edit out swearing as if it can't be used to express over text which it is hard to as it is. You also can be guilty of times of completely changing the context of what I say and I don't appreciate that. Generally I put a lot of thought and effort into my posts and sometimes you don't even post them. I'm not guilty of any wrong doing and I don't like that you have power over what I say.

{Ed041's Note - I have never edited or deleted any of your posts. I don't see the need for swearing to express yourself either.

15 Jul 2016 17:26:14
You aren't me nor do you speak for me so why do you think you should make that decision? All I'm asking is you leave my posts be if you don't want to post it fine but don't edit it. I like to express myself how I feel is appropriate for the situation to express my feelings its not for you to tell me how to put that into context you aren't me. There's no other way to put personally into a post than through how you would express it through speach. You don't express my morals of swearing but it doesn't give you the right to censor or alter what I say. I write posts often, large and generally well thought I'm not against this site or you I just don't appreciate it.

{Ed041's Note - editors edit what they feel needs editing.

15 Jul 2016 19:17:22
Having the better players is no marker of the season ahead. Leicester anyone? If, and it's a big if, we win the league this season I hope it's because we were superb rather than the dhims being cack.

15 Jul 2016 22:14:24
Ed 041, Cheers for he reply mate. I wouldn't be surprised if Celtic win the league tbh i'm just saying this year may be the year for a surprise. I think they have a team that could walk the league without a manager but Rodgers will try to implement a style on them which they do not have the skill set to play. Or at least that is what i would imagine him to do as he has done previously. I'm a Liverpool fan as well as a rangers fan (I know it's bizarre) so i'd like to think i have some knowledge on his management style.

{Ed041's Note - You are welcome.
I think that could happen but I just don't think Ranger have enough quality in depth to make it happen this season. I could be wrong

16 Jul 2016 14:35:58
I think if we come out of the traps fast we have a great chance of winning the league. Celtic for the next few weeks will be distracted by their international tournament and salvaging their European hopes. As consequence I am hoping they have a slow start in the league and could lose their opening fixture v Hearts. Although we now lack experience of SPL football we have a very good squad and a great management team. The other advantage we have is that the competition don't know us. It will be difficult but we could be leading at the Winter break and after that who knows.

16 Jul 2016 14:52:28
Being honest I don't think we will, not with the current squad, but if we get the quality centre half and proven goalscorer we are all hoping for then there's no reason we can't run Celtic very close and with a bit of luck perhaps even pip them to the title. Think a lot depends on who Celtic sign between now and season starting. If we don't win the league we will definitely win a cup.

16 Jul 2016 15:19:47
I honestly think we have a stronger midfield we're both struggling in terms of a strong back 4 and attacking wise I would say overall we have the better players honestly think we can do it roll on 55 bears.

16 Jul 2016 15:32:37
I have got to disagree I think we have the best squad all our players look more hungry than the others and for me Barton is the best player in the spl
All the Celtic players look fed and want moves away our players sum have took wage cuts and sum have came for more playing time with the grit between there teeth with summit to prove like Barton niko and rossiter and if we get dodoo him aswell

There's quality threw out our team players who are quick and players who can play in a number of positions and young players that will only improve
I'm not getting ahead of my self because I truly believe we have the right balance threw out the team
With the best man manager in Scotland
I agree with the comments about we don't need to win the league this year as much as we want to but we have a great chance so we have to have ago and the players must believe we can as I'm sure the management believes we can
We need to sort this mess out with sd and get in Europe and try our best this season.

16 Jul 2016 16:27:07
Warbs15 i think we will be there or there abouts mate, if the team hit the ground running like last season (6v2) first game against hibs, the confidence will be dsky high, we have got more and better players this season, players that will be determind to win the league, known there's now a player to replace them if they play a bad game, also bruiserbear i see your friends (lol) have not posted on there sevco page since there recent euro adventure, which js a pitty, as i looked forward to you giving them it tight, lol.

15 Jul 2016 13:42:43
Gaffer saying in his presser that we might see krancjar make an appearence tomoz.

15 Jul 2016 16:56:14
I personally cannot wait for kranjcar. i think he is the best signing so far and will be the best player in Scotland this year.

15 Jul 2016 13:00:31
Loving the fact the lad Dodoo is considering a permanent deal. Don't like the folk already talking about a "sell on fee". Jeez. Let the boy do a job for us first. I hope he scores a million goals and retires at rangers at the age of 50.

15 Jul 2016 15:57:44
Here here! 2 million goals tho.

15 Jul 2016 12:53:03
I was just on the Rangers website and the squad numbers have just been confirmed for the new season, but one thing I noticed is there is not a number 7 yet, I take it that's for our new striker?

15 Jul 2016 13:42:06
Hopefully Joe Dodoo gets the number, was hoping Kranjcar would of got it but he was No.19 for Croatia as well.

15 Jul 2016 14:31:02
7 could be reserved for the new defender, since Hill, Kiernan, Wilson have 2, 3, 6 already. Or, if going by the interpretation of Warb's interview by the media is anything to go by, we may be signing another striker as well as Dodoo, which it could be for. So its anyone's guess.

15 Jul 2016 15:45:20
There's no Murdoch.

15 Jul 2016 12:52:02
I see that the squad numbers are out for the season. I was wondering what has happened to Liam Burt? Has he been loaned out?
He was a young guy that was about the first team last season.

15 Jul 2016 13:36:47
True Dunbar blue I never noticed that myself, he must be going out on loan buddy, as I don't think young goalkeeper l, kelly got a number as he's away on loan to Livingston till January.

15 Jul 2016 12:49:58
I wasn't fortunate enough to have lived through some of the great era's of Rangers (I'm only 20) but I've never been more excited about a season.

All we can do now is show the board we back them. Fill Ibrox and away every week and back the team. Remember we are the only key income our club has and we need to support them now more than ever. There will be difficult times to come but only as a support can we get ourselves back to the top for 55.

15 Jul 2016 13:05:28
RossW I'm 25 seen some good times and great European nights. Seen the worst time for our club. I have a son on the way and when he will moan about a result not going our way Ill be able to tell him that he doesn't know what bad times are.

15 Jul 2016 13:10:42
Well said young man

We have put together a great squad, I have a really good feeling about us this year. I see no team to fear, no better squad, no better manager, no better style of play, full house at Ibrox every week, strong away support, Selik are a mess and their manager will leave a lot to be desired. I think the league is ours for the taking.

To win it first year back would top all leagues previously won!

15 Jul 2016 13:30:10
Celtic are not a mess, let's not get over excited by their result the other night, let's face it, it might even get Rodgers more money to spend on new players, but I don't fear them or any other team in the league, roll on August the 6th, I can't wait. πŸ†
Their result on Tuesday gives us a small payback about us not performing that great against part time teams a couple of years ago, but I fully expect Celtic to beat them at parkhead about 6 or 7 nil, but I don't care about them but one thing I do care about is hopefully they don't make the group stages of the cl, but that's just because I don't want them to get the 15m that comes with making the group stages.

15 Jul 2016 13:58:22
I agree with all of the above. I grew up through 9 in a row and have obviously seen the worst. This team will take away all that pain of the last few years, even last years team eradicated a good bit of it for me. Not winning the Championship or the Petrofac, but the style. Reminded me of the Advocaat era but was put together on a shoestring. This years the same, just great management from board level down to the tea ladies! Can't say I've ever been more excited than this for a season.
On a side note, I was saying after the final that missing out on Europe this year was a blessing in disguise because we wouldn't be able to cope, but I'm seriously doubting that now a would love to have seen this squad in the Europa. Would have faired better than that other muck we've witnessed this week. In saying that though If they somehow scrape through this round and end up in the Europa, after being humiliated in the next round it could be a good leveller in the title race. I actually hope Celtic, Aberdeen and Hearts get through, would only benefit us in the league and next years coefficient, but if they get beat I will still laugh.

15 Jul 2016 14:01:38
DelBoy you sure your not an offspring from Brendan Rodger, Selick are a mess, they have a lot of dead wood, a lot of foreigners that don't fit, to big a squad, miss mash of players, don't have a philosophy in place, manager has to ship players in and out and then try mould them into a team that works. That will not be done over night that will take 2 windows at least.

all while we are on the up and up, we have got a great core from last year and we have added quality experience and numbers along with some more promising young players.

our attack is fast young and hungry, our midfield has the bite that we missed and our defence has height and leaders at the back now, add one more defender in and we are sorted.

Selick should be very worried because they have messed up in a big way and we are going to reap the benefits. they should b light years ahead and instead they have regressed while we have progressed and I would say that we are in a better position than them now.

But this is only my opinion. will be shown over the course of the season I suppose.

15 Jul 2016 14:40:26
I think the difference is there for all to see. Most Rangers fans are ecstatic about pretty much every player in our team. Maybe the goalkeeper, RB and choice of CB still split opinion but I would imagine most of us could name several starting 11's we'd be happy to go with against them, all with strong benches.
Have a look at the Celtic pages (I must admit I've been on there this week for pure comedy factor, I don't post) they hate their team/ squad bar a few players. If they come on here their full of bravado but secretly to themselves they hate nearly every player in the team. Now they seem to be pinning there hopes on Liam Hemderson πŸ˜‚ Was the 5th best player for Hibs last year.
If we mange to get Dodoo and someone of Marriappa's quality in we will win the league imo. Without them I'd still fancy our chances with what we've got. Obviously they've still to strengthen but it's an overhaul they're needing and I don't think Rodgers is capable of it before the season starts.

Well said delboy- it's good to read posts from SENSIBLE fellow gers fans. Have to laugh at the poster who has bitten back at you- perhaps he's missed his meds this morning?

The future looks bright but let's all be realistic and acknowledge that the journey continues and we still have far to go.

Imps beating Celtic was hilarious but it doesn't change the fact that in Scotland they are team to beat- honestly guys have you not seen how teams in spl roll over and show less than half the fight against Celtic that the imps showed.

Delboy is spot on saying they will win 2nd leg and we should all be hoping they will fail in one of next two rounds. Them getting 15m plus for reaching group stage would only make them harder to catch- have you not noticed we have no cash?

15 Jul 2016 12:23:43
we now have strength and depth, expirience and a young hungry team that are here to win things and apart from miller, hill, barton, nico, and gilks all our players could have a great sell on value . i am very excited about the style we play and the players we have the football will be breath taking . real compitition for places will make the plyers from last season all step up a level . i am still pinching my self that its only just over a year since we were destroyed by a poor motherwell team onwards and upwards.

15 Jul 2016 13:01:00
Great post damo, iv been a big supporter of our board from day one and I still don't understand were the criticism comes from, our club is being run superbly well, yeah we might not have spent a lot of money on transfer fees but we have spent a lot of money on wages, agents fees and upgrades to ibrox, I couldn't be more happy with how the club is being run, and that's us without a massive part of the clubs income missing ie shirt sales and no tv money or European money for several years. I'm so excited for the new season. πŸ†.

15 Jul 2016 14:00:27
Spot on boys, I seriously doubt any proper fans are still doubting this board. I know a few people on the finance section still do but I've not met anybody in real life that holds this opinion. Onwards and upwards!

15 Jul 2016 12:05:16
With some of the incredible business completed in this transfer window, I'm composing a new song for Frank McP. I'll be singing it all season in the west enclosure, by myself or otherwise. It goes a little something like this:

Oh Frank McP, Oh Frank McP, Oh Frank McP, Oh Frank McP, Oh Frank McP you signed Joey, Oh Frank McP, Oh Frank McP etc etc.

15 Jul 2016 12:44:15
Yep you'll be singing on your own!

15 Jul 2016 13:02:05
Lol keep trying buddy, the guy deserves a song.

15 Jul 2016 13:14:58
Guy deserves a song but not that one lol at least your trying huistra 😁.

15 Jul 2016 14:01:09
Oh a Huistra was better tho!

15 Jul 2016 15:30:41
Hahahah what about:

Oooooh Frank McP, your signings were a big surprise, no Cummings the person, fook yer HIVS, Barton's getting us 55.

Nah? Ok back to drawing board lol.

15 Jul 2016 10:49:40
Daily Mail advising Doddo will become rangers 9th Perm signing this season!

Honestly can we just get 1 perm CB in now and let's look forward to it being 55!

15 Jul 2016 12:13:21
Doubt there'll be a window that goes by where Warburton doesn't use the loan market.

Whether it's for a defender, midfielder or attacker. He has a lot of contacts in England and you'd think he'd use the connection with Spurs and/ or Arsenal to get one player in on loan, and develop our relationship with these clubs.

If/ when Hardie and Walsh go out on loan, he may want to bring in a player who can fill one of their positions.

Sure Warburton said, as the squad stands just now, two will be enough, CB and ST. But squad players going out on loan means another space available, would expect another forward to be brought in via the loan route. On top of a first choice CB of course.

15 Jul 2016 12:41:16
MW has said its unlikely he will loan anyone this season as they have to see a path to first team football and its unlikely outwith someone like Dom Ball that we would need any loans. Looks like Mariappa might be the only player we went for and didn't get although its not like he has signed anywhere else yet.

16 Jul 2016 12:13:39
Hopefully it's all went abit quite lol hope this 1 Goes threw quick and start looking for that CB we all hope of getting.

15 Jul 2016 10:27:23
STV and BBC websites are bit reporting that the Dodoo deal is all but done. This was just 2 hours ago. What an attacking team we are going to have next season with strength in depth as well.

15 Jul 2016 11:41:54
We have guys that can all play across the front 3 in a variety of positions which is brilliant, a can see any team living with us this season, we should be tanking teams most week. as for Selik, won't be long before they praying that they kept Rony.

16 Jul 2016 12:31:32
Lets calm down a bit eh, they haven't even started buying yet, but they will, make no mistake, alarm bells will be ringing in London and Dublin, they will now throw money ay Rodgers Ss they can't risk the abuse their fans would give them if he failed, on a massive wage too, they won't be able to handle not winning the league because they've grown used to it, bit maybe we have a team capable of great football, a winning team, let's let them play, because it will take a little time for the team to settle, but its all good at the moment, you can almost guarantee their next signing will be a big, expensive one, ie Keane, Keane, ? But doesn't look like we need plenty cash at the moment 😊
Tommy.

16 Jul 2016 13:26:59
as long as we can also defend we should do ok.

16 Jul 2016 14:46:11
I seriously doubt they will be regretting axing delia, although I wish they had kept him.

15 Jul 2016 10:23:57
Well Mr Lennon back to norm,

15 Jul 2016 10:53:53
indeed. After Cup Final shambles further indiscipline off the park from a club leader is the last thing they need. Don't believe he will last longer than Terry Butcher.

15 Jul 2016 12:42:38
It's his thing to blame officials in his head he's never lost a game always someone else's fault never his own or his own team.

15 Jul 2016 13:16:13
Always cheated never defeated 😎.

15 Jul 2016 14:03:25
Had to laugh at his press conference when he signed, saying he's grew up and cringes when looking back at his antics with Celtic lol. Since he's been away he's threatened to stab his mistress and has been sent off in his first game back.
Would hate to see him if he hadn't mellowed hahaπŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚.

16 Jul 2016 12:35:06
Thought the same last night, a complete crackpot, they will be doing everything to defend him today, bit you can be sure they'll be worried already, the man is out of control, the rage and badness on hos face says enough, can't wait for next hearts game. !
Tommy.

15 Jul 2016 09:30:00
See if this Dodoo is as good as he is in fm16 for my gers team then we've got a superstar in the making joining us lol.

16 Jul 2016 09:55:57
Football manager no played that In years some the stats on it are bang on.

15 Jul 2016 07:37:55
English papers are saying that a deal is being finalised for Jo Dodoo but no terms so far.

I stand by my earlier comments about those posters who said he was on his way. It is easy to post on here but unless you can back it up it is all BS and nonsense.

Anyway it is all good news for RFC.

15 Jul 2016 11:53:29
To appease you maybe the Ed should consider changing the name of the forum to Rangers-Not-Rumours-Only-Absolute-Certainties-And-Definitely-No-BS-Forum. I agree It's a bit wordy but at least everyone will know where they stand.

P. S I met Dodoo in Nandos and he gave me a blood oath that he was signing for Rangers. Just saying.

15 Jul 2016 12:43:21
Bear necessities admit you were wrong and we will move on. Wether the boy signs or not it doesn't give you the right to shoot down another post, especially since as I said the boy was at Murray Park so it was hardly a wild rumour.
Instead of getting angry with wild rumour posts do what the rest of us do, laugh it off, have a joke and move on. If anyone told me we would get Barton and Niko before the rumours were confirmed I would have laughed at that so you just never know.
Even with the Ibra Celtic rumour, having read his book and knowing he was a bit of a maverick, part of me was still bricking it that just maybe it could happen, Larsson was his idol after all. I still made jokes to the contrary though.

15 Jul 2016 04:49:56
I've got a Leicester fan working with me just now and he reckons if we get this boy it's a great signings. Bags of ability but with Leicester playing champions league football this season he was never going to break into the first team this season.

If true another great signing by MW for peanuts and a potential money maker in years to come.
