Use our rumours form to send us rangers transfer rumours.

Been quiet of late because basically I'm a bit bored of the same chat over and over again.
Then suddenly out of nowhere one of the worlds most intelligent men appears with a back story as inspirational as one of those teary bits from X-Factor. Kieron Prior may very well turn out to be the real deal and I really hope he does. However, I'm a bit suspicious at the need for not one but two 'exclusives' in the Daily Rag in quick succession. A clever guy in a wheelchair who's fought against the odds to be successful. That's a nice way to balance a see saw with the Easedales on the other side isn't it.

Kind regards

Doom Monger
Not a 'Rea'l Bear
Timmy in Disguise
Etc etc etc. blah blah

I understand your wariness Baybear. We've been put through the ringer and only the most resilient (or beautifully naive) would have escaped the last 2 years without their optimism damaged. By all accounts though, this Prior guy is a good lad and pretty astute and after all the shenanigans I'm sure he realizes that all he needs to do to win the support over is give us the truth about what's going on at our club (we've been ready to hear it for a wee whily). Saying the directors are being overpaid is a perfect example, everybody knows it but it took this guy to come in from the outside and state the obvious. Let's see what else he's got. Duccablue

Agree0 Disagree0

Your suspicious baybear? why is that, is it because a man from manchester from a traditional irish background claims to be a rangers fan. or is it a very intellgent man is pi$$ing up your leg and telling you it raining. The fact is there is nothing we can do about it. other than raise the millions required to take over the club our selfs. because at the end of the day anyone who can raise that sort of money can buy the club for good or bad. I WAS ALSO SURPRISED TO HERE THE BOARD ARE OVER PAYING THEMSELVES. who could have figured that one.

Agree0 Disagree0

#2. Aye, doesn't take a 234 IQ (well according to the DR anyway) to work out that the board are overpaying themselves.

Just as a guy with my very much lower IQ can tell that Ally and his pals are being overpaid even more.

Hopefully Mr Prior isn't scared to point this out just because he has connections to Malcolm Murray. I'll take hard facts any time over Charles Green style baloney, and to the guy earlier asking about friendlies with Arsenal and LA Galaxy - I wouldn't get too excited if I was you.

Scott arfield would be a brilliant signing for us, still a young lad with bags of talent, could really add something to our team just now. my uncle who is a diehard bluenose lives in huddersfield and goes to the games quite often and has told me on several occasions rangers should try and get him. Fingers crossed bears.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Great, that's all we need is another midfielder and where in team would he play? if he was having such a great season at huddersfield why was he released and why hasn't he been snapped up by championship clubs. BT

Where do some of our fans come up with their ridiculous ideas? For weeks and months on here everyone has been moaning and complaining that the board are taking too much money out in salaries, they are all spivs etc - now this new guy buys some shares and echos these sentiments and suddenly he is in on it all? its an enigma wrapped up in a puzzle hidden inside a mystery! and to think we have a cheek to call our ugly sisters from across the city paranoid!

Ayr bear

Believable0 Unbelievable0

If goian is retiring why would we have to pay till end of contract? I wouldn't mind if they bothe stayed because we need to make sure our defense ain't keepin us in a game with the talent in our squad higher up we need to make sure were scoring a bucket load ever game! kum on ally

Everything seems to have gone very quiet on rangers signing centre halfs which we're badly needing, has anyone heard any fresh news regarding us making any progress on our pursuit of signing a centre half or centre halfs?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

We won't be signing any CBS if we keep boca and goian

Agree0 Disagree0

Boca and goian coming back, unless someone makes an offer for either why do we need more centre half s?

Agree0 Disagree0

Firstly bocanegra and goian will both be leaving as both wages are not feasable for rangers. Boca heading back to the MLS and no concrete intrest in goian as of yet but HE WILL be leaving. On the signing front we are going to sign zaliukas by the end of next week, no other news on center halfs joining. Scott arfield is 85% a done deal, a few wee stumbling blocks but should get the deal done.

Agree0 Disagree0

@2 there is no way either will be back as neither player wants to play in Div 2 and we can't afford them. Expect both to be given free transfers just to get them off the wage bill

Agree0 Disagree0

@2 let's be honest, goian and bocca won't be staying due to international reasons, so we really do need centre backs, unless your happy to go with the same dross as last season?

Agree0 Disagree0

Goian statedafew months ago he was retiring I know he has a year left on rangers contract so he will retire wither he is looking for a wage to walk away or leaving gracefully iwe can only wait and see

Agree0 Disagree0

@3/I can guarantee Arfield will not sign.

why do we not give stephen mcmanus a try captain of the people 3 in a row or even bring andy webster back since he's playin better than before

Believable0 Unbelievable0

McManus is murder and Webster hasn't got it mentally to play infront of big crowds. No thanks to either.
Would take Wilson back, boca or goian if no one bids for them will do for me

Agree0 Disagree0

I am assuming your on he wind up? Neither player would do at Ibrox McManus is a cart horse and Webster had a mental issue playing for Rangers

Prior. Goldman Sachs. Is that not the Company that ripped off the American Taxpayer? The same Company that hid the finances of Greece? The same company that thought merging Daimler with Chrystler was a good idea? The same Company that robbed the German taxpayer twice over with its IPO of Deutsche Telekom. The same company that sold Mannessmann to Vodaphone that led to mass redunancies. and much much more. Oh, yes, let's trust this man. (I used to work for the Goldmans)

Believable0 Unbelievable0

So does that make every employee of Google, Vodaphone, ebay, and for that matter previous employees of RFC tax evaders. Mate stop giving sweeping statements they are utterly stupid.

Agree0 Disagree0

So by that argment we can't trust you either as you (claim to be) an ex-employee?

And can you explain Mr Prior's role in any of the examples you mention?

Agree0 Disagree0

The statement is utterly factual mate albeit hardly relevant.

Agree0 Disagree0

OP here. No an employee. In Frankfurt. MesseTurm. 25th floor. I left as the made me sick.

Kieran Prior all over the news criticizing Board salaries and bonuses. Particularly singling out Stockbridge as finance director.

Is this Stockbridge's way out? Green and Ahmad have gone, is this the start of Stockbridge's walk?
Is Prior linked to the recent Isle of Man guy who got over 700,000 shares from Green?

Again a Manchester finance link, same as Ahmad and Stockbridge. Don't think Prior, because he's in a wheelchair, cannot be a liar also. You succeed on the stock exchange by feign and deception.

Will Prior replace Stockbridge as FD? Before the damning accounts come out? Where's the £22m?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

The guy is just stating facts. From boardroom to grass roots the wages are ridiculous. A second division club, losing money, should be cutting costs not increasing them. A finance director getting a bonus for the team winning the league? A third division manager on 750k per year? I do agree on the accounts though, something smells with them.

Agree0 Disagree0

The question is why are all these investors interested in a club that is losing £1m/month? what are our actual assets other than ST money? Rangers seem like some shady "front" company for conmen, hopefully Mr Prior will be different and will run Rangers as a football club and start to rebuild our reputation.

Agree0 Disagree0

Kieran would have to be a black sheep among his family and friends growing up if he did indeed support the Gers. They are all Celtic daft and I feel we need to be very wary here.

Agree0 Disagree0

15 Jun 2013 13:53:04
@ # 2, the reason there all interested in the club is because contrary to what you seem to think or read in the papers, we are not losing 1 million a month.

This number of losing 1 million came out when the last figures were released showing a deficit of 6 million. The reason a large bit of loss was due to not trading for a couple of months, buying back various properties and the paying off of old footballing debts.

So as said before the reason we have lots of investors circling our club is down to the fact they can see money making opportunities!

Agree0 Disagree0

Prior friend of MM - so at last we see sensible concerns about costs.

Rangers need 2-3 years of solid financial preformance - balanced with some success on pitch to form platform to reform.

Green and his £500k bonus each year - its completly against any reform of Rangers fortunes - as by time Gers back in europe - Green will have pocketed £5m which is then crucial to entering CL.

Also Greens being caught on tape as Rangers CEO claiming UEFA corrupt - will haunt us for years.

Agree0 Disagree0

@4 how do you know we are not losing a £million a month? The interim accounts showed we lost £5 million in the first 5 months in spite of the majority of the season ticket income. Where have the savings come, how much of the £22million from share issue is left? Why no audited accounts? If nothing else this new investor is asking the questions the majority of sensible bears are asking. We all hope there is no problem but come on let's see the audited accounts. let's see the actual position. I will renew my season ticket but I am worried

excellent news and so much for all the rumor merchants saying blackthorn deal was cancilled. looking forward to buying 1. and from the new official shop so more money goes to the clubs way.

Ps any word on the arsenal frendly or the preseason tourney that us and la galaxy were supposed to be in

Agree0 Disagree0

That's good

Agree0 Disagree0

@1/ Oh dear. Look at the structure of the deal. LA Galaxy and Arsenal? So you believe Green then?

Agree0 Disagree0

The shops profits don't go to the club. It goes to sports direct guy from Newcastle and the merchandising company directors green and Stockbridge.

Agree0 Disagree0

@4 the company is 51% owned by RIFC and 49% sports direct retail, get it right

According to stv we can play trialists in 3 games prior to registering. 2 in any one game as the previous rule states.

There is also no limit on number of players over 21 anymore, or the number of players you can register in general.

Yet again bending the rules for your club and I bet you would say its all Celtic running the show and want you gone right? If it was Celtic running things you would have any special treatment and would be the same as any other club and just face the punishments. But that's not the case and you still think you are not being treated fairly

Agree0 Disagree0

@1. Grow up you fool. We had no input in any discussions for new league or its rules. Your just another of them who hates the fact were still going. You wanted us dead and it never happened. Your hatred never died Just like the famous rangers of Glasgow. We are still the people.

Agree0 Disagree0

@1 is relegated to the 3rd division not a punishment? Go back to your own page And stop obsessing, we know you are missing us, but it's becoming tedious now.

Agree0 Disagree0

@1 note the site name rangers banter- are you lost? As a bear I have no interest in what's happening in the east end. Why the fixation with all things blue? Get a life

Agree0 Disagree0

RFC were never relegated. That's a historical fact that can never be changed.

Agree0 Disagree0

You should see them on LSE. CO. UK- share page. All new posters, and everyone of their comments about shares is on the RIFC page. They get everywhere, little vermin.

Agree0 Disagree0

This is 1, I don't hate you as you may think so think you need to calm down a wee bit. I always wanted to see a match btw the two clubs yet sadly never will for your former legends which you blindly followed lead to your end. Have you not notice how many of you fans keep blaming Celtic and say they run everything on this page? It's not hate just trying to help you wake up already and look in the mirror

Mr McCoist - if you're listening. Please offer a deal to former Burton
winger Jacques Maghoma before a championship club snaps him up. This would truly be the 1 that got away. The guy is on his way to the top. 2 footed, 18 goals last season, into double figures for assists and more importantly a player that is a joy to watch.

This whole business only brings me sadness right now. I can see no immediate relief. I've posted a number of posts asking bears not to renew sts. I now realise that that is asking the impossible. It goes so deep, it vibrates deep inside on match days and and can bring on so much happiness in me on otherwise s***ty days. So I've decided to be positive from now on, if the s***s going to happen then let it happen. I bought my st today and feel good.

Fingers crossed fellow bears. I'm ready for the roller coaster ahead. X {Ed002's Note - It was the bit that read "it vibrates deep inside" that I found disturbing.}

Believable0 Unbelievable0

"it vibrates deep inside on match days and and can bring on so much happiness in me". Thought I was reading Fifty Shades of Grey there. lol Maybe Rangers and Ann Summers could do some sort of merchandising deal.

Agree0 Disagree0

Lol Shuggy. Strange turn of phrase.

Agree0 Disagree0

Shuggy,

FFS, stop it now, you have actually posted something remotely funny, enough now, or you will be getting a bad name.

Agree0 Disagree0

I feel dirty just from reading that post, I'm away for a shower!

Agree0 Disagree0

It seemed to read well when I wrote it last night. Too many beers I thinks. Lol. but made my mind up to renew season ticket.
