RANGERSNEWS,
Conway and goodwullie going south in the summer! From kenneth also chris maguire to celtic / wigan , so plenty of allys targets going to other clubs. Really bad news is wages to be cut by 1-2m this season , Whyte deal is off due to HMRC decision to refuse 10m offer the club made in may through Andrews. Word is we have until Oct 12 to pay the vast sum of 24M plus 12M interest , and if we lose the appeal a 35% penalty plus court costs! This could total 60M+ our debt of around 30M , something whyte isn't willing to pay for a scottish club, when the money is non-exsistent in the SPL.

The game has got faster and so it is time to introduce technology. If there was some sort of challenge system like rugby for example but give the team captain or one of the coaches the power to challenge a decision maybe three times like in tennis. Then you would have another referee review it by video. It wouldn't delay the game that much its so quick in rugby. Mind Celtic would need about 50 challenges to satisfy Lennon. lol

Doesn't your colleagues friend realise he has broken strict Stock Market Rules, which can result in criminal prosecution. How many times, no news is good news for Gers fans, no one can talk about the takeover as it breaches these Rules. First any of us will hear is if it is a definate on or off.

What are you saying sickbhoy? That broxi could be out of a job? Lol ha ha

Rinoboy

Well it would be another wage off the bill lol unless it is someone making a bit on the fly? Maybe Durrant, no one seems to know his job, maybe he is Broxi lol

SickBhoy

You could be right lol. I was told it was Hugh Dallas. He can get cheering on his team without getting hassle. He's been broxi for a few years now lol.

Rinoboy

Well the protective head will give him protection from they 50p pieces anyway. I thought Big Bougy got the job and it was a skin tight mask with the size of his napper lol

Heard today from a colleague who is friendly with someone inside Ibrox that the Whyte deal is pretty much dead in the water - something to do with the tax side of things - also heard that the McGregor deal has been completed for him to move to Bursaspor at the end of the season - if true it would be for £4 Million

Aye right don't believe everything broxi the bear tells you. McGregor's bird was telling me the same thing this morning when she brought me breakfast in bed.

That was one of the worst refeering displays I have ever seen. I don't buy into the refs are agianst us stuff, but not only in Scotland, poor refeering is a problem throughout football. They all want to be the star of the show, rather than do their job correctly. Fair enough, it would't have changed the game IMO, but Van Persies sending off was totally abysmal, and that was in UEFAs top competition latter stages.

Re: Couldnt agree more Sickboy, for example anyone see the roma shaktar game? Srjna got forearmed/ elbow smashed in the face, and HE was booked (not to mention that they chopped the life out the guy too). Then the Van Persie incident these are just two of the tip of my toungue pretty much all referees are making blunders on the pitch. I agree the standards have slipped a litle but I aint too sure its as bad as people are saying (especially in Scotland) think about these factors, the game is faster, players are faster, the pitch is faster and the game as a whole is MUCH faster than it once was and at the same time there is cameras with better technology and more of them showing the public eye exactly if it wasa foul or not etc. ., now coupled along with this the rules have progressivy became a little more complicated (with the exception to offside and last ditch goal scoring tackles) which has now become a joke were there isn't a rule anymore refs much analyse each case and determine what should be done on a foul by foul basis. With all of these progressions in the game the refs are still exactly the same, same eyes making judgements, same brain deciding only more complex rules and decisions to make.

I heard Roughy on Real radio once make a very good point an excellent one in fact . . . have 30 people of the public or fans or even the SPL board watch a game in a stadium and mark down what the thought were fouls yellow cards etc without any help from tv take all these results in and see how the compare to the refs game and how many decisions they get right or wrong after tv reviews.

I honestly don't think refs have gotten that much poorer i think the game has moved on faster than they have tho. And if you look at any mistakes in Scotland i genuinely think that more mistakes are made abroad and in europe were competitions are higher profile . . .

wow that was some rant especially for 10:10 hmmmmm work can wait eh?!
