Got a feeling that this whole new rangers thing is going to end in disaster cg doesn't have the money end of story! He is telling lies after lies and he ain't fooling me!

Believable31 Unbelievable14

I totally agree......................Wemyss Bay Gaz

Agree22 Disagree7

You genius that you are well come on then tell me when it's going to happen. And if you are right what will happen next. I agree I think green ain't got the money but I still ain't convinced he is the one putting money In. I think there is still more to this than meets the eye. But I would never try and predict the outcome good or bad I will support my club as best I can and what ever happens happens because walking away ain't a option

Agree6 Disagree10

I think Green has money (been part of too many floats not too, and chairman of sooooo many companies, 8 rangers ones)

But why invest your money and risk it, when you can invest others monay (at no risk) and use that.....

he very smart...

Agree11 Disagree2

Look bottom line if we still want a team to support the best thing to do is buy shares and hope that green is lejit

Agree3 Disagree14

@2 Walking away ain' an option,so tell me if Greene goe's down the swanney and Rangers go into administration again, what will you do.If you have an answer to that then please tell the rest of us. The only way Rangers can be sure of winning is for the supporter's to buy this guy out completly.

Agree6 Disagree1

@4 Ah hope!Where has that got you up'til now

Let me make this clear because I think a lot of people are being duped. This proposed share issue is for working capital only! There will be no upgrading, no hotels, etc, etc....

There's absolutely no way he'll raise £20m, no chance. Ask yourself this, will you be shelling out £500 (at least) when the share issue is released?

The majority of folk are too skint to even consider parting with £500 (at least) for no ROI......simples!

Miko x

Believable23 Unbelievable10

No I won't be investing cos I'm skint. If I had some spare cash I'd give it a go mind. You pay your money you take your chance. I thought majority of rangers fans wanted fan ownership of sorts? And not a sugar daddy/ conman?

Agree14 Disagree5

Worst case scenario, gers loose ftt, bdo stops newco using rangers name, float flops and prior investments liquidated, newco lose 2/3 of next matches.... several keys players injured, only kids left.... alley stays as manager.........

Agree12 Disagree3

AT LAST...someone with a brain thats not blinded by loyalty.spot on mate..but i do actually feel sorry for the real supporters its quite obvious what cg is up to..stirring up all the old sh.t.they,re all against us, they threw us out the spl,the sfa are against us,basically the whole world is out to get us,but it is all for one reason,to get the fans (and not the ones with dosh to spare )the ones who are out working forty hours a week for **** wages to buy into his share racket, cos thats wot it is,he,s telling so many lies its untrue.but..if i was a rangers fan and believed wot he was saying it would sound great but bits all bullsh.t.if this keeps up i fear for rangers, cant see how they can survive another admin/liquid...gary...........ps thanks for posting my last post ed.im not against rangers, but i am against persons like green thinking we are all f..king stupid

Agree13 Disagree3

'telling so many lies its untrue'

Good one!!

15 Oct 2012 19:29:51
Well that's us in the middle of October so obviously liquidation is second half October and FTTT result also. Does it make a legal difference which is delivered first? I presume if oldco are liquidated before FTTT then HMRC could chase newco if proven to be a Phoenix company. Green has said he bought "the BUSINESS and the assets". He states its the same strips, logos, badges, history, etc.....

heres a thought fellow gers fans if levein gets the push and smith or mcleish gets the post will they play 3rd division players for scotland

Believable2 Unbelievable12

Both walked out and should never be allowed back again

Agree12 Disagree3

Why would they unless they happened to want the sack pretty sharpish!

Charles Green is a Director of the following companies, which are seperate companies from Rangers:

Rangers Security Services Ltd
Rangers Retail Ltd
Rangers Financial Services Ltd
Ranger.co.uk Ltd
Rangers Youth Development Ltd
Rangers Media Investments Ltd
Rangers Matchday Services Ltd
The Rangers Shop Ltd

Are any of the fawning supporters groups that were taken in by Craig Whyte aware of this and if so have they sought an explanation from Charles Green in relation to them. Some of these companies were in existence prior to Green's takeover, so what is the need for the continuance and what is their purpose.

Is Green looking to divert monies into these companies rather than it going to Rangers. {Ed039's Note - Are you paranoid or what, clubs have subisidures of their different departments all over the world, I dont think there is anything to worry about there. If you look at corporations all over the world, there are companies who have these "umberlla companies", what is wrong with this and why are you worried?)

Believable11 Unbelievable11

No mention of football in those company names does that mean McCoist is staying?

Agree6 Disagree0

We all know this is how sdm syphon end money out. He owned s dozen Rangers companies similar to above and all revenues went to him not the club.

Agree10 Disagree0

Yes Ed you are correct. Many companies do operate a Group structure, with the financial and business activity of each company within the Group being shown in the Group's accounts.

But this is not what is happening here.

The other 8 companies are independent and have no accounting relationship to Rangers.

Rangers have absolutely no control or right to any money going into these companies.

There may well be an innocent explanation, but the questions need to be asked. That is the point.

For example, Rangers Retail Limited were set up on 13 July 2012. The trading address is in Mansfield. Who is David Michael Forsey, listed as a Director and also a Director of 164 other companies.

I for one want to know what this and the other companies are all about.

As I say, there may be an innocent explanation, but why is the company called Rangers Retail Limited, if it is operating out of Mansfield. How does it generate income. Is it using the Rangers name to benefit from retail sales. Why would such sales not go straight to Rangers.

All questions I feel need to be asked and certainly not paranoid.

Agree14 Disagree1

Ed039 which of these companies are the shares covering, so hard for fans to keep in touch with corporate governance, does green take directors salary from each......

if you puting shares on aim you want to be transparent...why the subterfuge......

guess the shares only for rangers fc.... so no chance of ever turning a profit....... {Ed039's Note - You are right, there is no chance of them ever turning a profit, I have said this already about football shares. The shares will be transparent as you will be told which company you are buying shares in, and the company that is floated on the stock make is the company you would buy shares in. What is the big deal about these subsiuary companies??)

Agree2 Disagree0

David Michael Forsey is the Chief Executive of Sports Direct International PLC. {Ed039's Note - I guess this goes some way to answering above)

Agree5 Disagree0

I would say to fans make your own decisions and ask all the questions but I'm sure cg will tippy toe around everything as to make everything sound great but don't let another one put your head in the sand. And I would say to you Ed that you seem to be a watp and have your blue eyes of the old club in your mentality and there for hope the fans don't decide to give money just because you say its all good, and calling ppl paranoid for asking the right questions finally.

Well thats yous lost one unwanted record .... Felix Baumgartner has smashed your world record for the fastest , longest free fall in history .... a bit of respite at last ......

Believable28 Unbelievable9

LeJonWATP

Believable20 Unbelievable12

Op.....cheer up! Have no fear cos the Gers are still here! Nils Desperandum! Geo the Ger

Agree15 Disagree22

Never lose faith in your team. The suits etc yes. But not the badge. hH

Agree5 Disagree2

OP Celtic man here, ok your team ain't playing so well just now but if you are a true fan, you will stick by them through thick and thin. It's the guy's at the top ( Green and Murry)you should maybe thinking about having faith in.
Tam

Agree2 Disagree0

I know that financially there is a major difference but If I was a Rangers supporter I would be looking at the positives. Classic example (forget all the admin/liquidation stuff, stick to football) look at Manchester Utd, one of the biggest footballing clubs in the world. No one could see it happening with such a massive club and European Champions in 1968 - Relegated to second tier and it was the best thing that ever happened to them. They regrouped became stronger and now look at them.

Agree0 Disagree0

15 Oct 2012 14:59:31
And then he goes and spoils it further by saying something stupid like Aston Villa are a small team… Previous winners of the European Cup… Playing in one of the top three leagues on the world… The day Rangers win the European Cup they can claim to be in the same bracket as Aston Villa (never mind The New Rangers who have yet to win a trophy but like Milton Keynes Dons seem to be claiming the history of another club)

Disgruntled Villain

P.S. I admittedly didn't know the ins and out of your club until I read about this and to the fans you have my sympathy

Believable19 Unbelievable4

Aye mate he has a bit too much to say for himself. He was right in that villa have been very poor for a long time, however he should not have gone public with it. Everyone knows they are a mid table team at best, living on their past like Liverpool. Again no need to say it on record, as everyone knows it. Take care.

Agree9 Disagree2

In all fairness to Mr Green, anyone with a bit of sense realises what he meant by his comments, and probably agrees with him.

He didn't pick out Villa out of malice or ill will, and he wasn't comparing them to Rangers as you wrongly allude.

He's said sorry, it's finished.

Agree5 Disagree21

He just highlighted that in epl even the lowest clubs can pick up £250 million, so he not even that league if in the spl......

he just highlights how far gers fallen.....

Agree4 Disagree5

15 Oct 2012 14:07:30
CG apologising to EPL teams following derogatory comments...is this CG keeping the share issue high profile and talked about? Or is this CG making a d1ck of himself again?

Believable26 Unbelievable0

It is certainly not assisting the share issue.

Any institutional investors will look at several criteria when making an investment and one of the important issues is to look at who is running the business.

Green is not creating a favourable impression.

Agree16 Disagree3

The fact he knew of the top of his head what man utd get and what Aston villa get shows he done some research prior to saying this

Agree0 Disagree7

Well so far i think mr charles green has came across as a bit of a fud not to good as the voice of the peepul

Agree9 Disagree0

He got two mentions in daily mail.... so its great publicity two mentions... in two days

hes very good at pr.

whilst shopping in a large department store i happened to meet mr green, i told him i was a gers fan and my 30 seconds account of what i thought about the clubs situation and was amazed he agreed with everything i said....what a nice guy.

p.s. i just got fed up of seeing the last post for days ;)

Believable2 Unbelievable13

Could you please expand on this thirty second conversation you had with Mr.Green that had his full agreement?Even our so-called journalists can't even get thirty seconds with him.I take it you were only sooking up to him that he agreed.Looking forword in anticipation to your reply.

Agree14 Disagree0

Did he mention his appearance on Dragons Den last night asking for lots and lots of money for 90% of rangers?

Agree12 Disagree0

1.) OP is quite clearly taking the p*ss. Get a doctors appointment to get those Sence of Humour glands checked

I wouldnt be suprised in the least if that was wee chico posting that himself lol

Agree13 Disagree1

Was he in buying his biography Fifty shades of GREY

Agree4 Disagree0

Rikkiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii,

That either made total sence or in my case, absolutely no sense at all.

Agree2 Disagree1

A man who has pandered to every Gers fans whim, bends over backwards to appeal to them at every turn in shock agreement with fan story. Why isn't this the first headline in every news bulletin in the world?

Gaz

it will be interesting to see how many gers fans flood hampden when we play queens park. with there average attendance 500 folk, if we take 40,000 it.l see them rite for the next few years. hopefully with the biger pitch we may actually get an away win. but please ally do not play one up front. rather like levein, that tactic could well be your death knell. hard to beleive a record goal scorer can play such negative tactics

Believable16 Unbelievable2

Queens Park will no longer play at Hampden until after the Commonwealth Games.

I believe they will ground share with Clyde.

Agree3 Disagree9

Will queens park not be playing at another ground, as hampden is ment to be getting a face lift ??

Agree5 Disagree4

Getting off the subject, how long will Little be out ? He was brilliant for your club..

Agree0 Disagree2

Clyde capacity 8,000 - so bringing 40,000 pointless

Agree3 Disagree3

Hampden is closing from late 2013, by which time Rangers will no longer be in SFL3

Agree8 Disagree7

@5 So where will they be then?

Agree11 Disagree0

Wot yeeze on about they wont be moving from hampden till next year.when we wont be in the division. so 2 big days when rangers visit will finance them for years.
