Just seen on news now Rangers legend to make return to ibrox got a wee excited and clicked on it and it said Kyle lafferty ๐Ÿ˜‚ I take it news now have never watch a rangers game with him it then as he was atrocious ๐Ÿ˜‚Rangers Legend ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚.

16 May 2017 23:17:01
Legend aye right. Not even using legend loosely I read it, it's deformation of all legends

17 May 2017 01:22:05
HITC and Football insider websites among many others are just pure clickbate nonsense designed to give their pages 'hits'.

They will warp any dull, non-news news article into some catchy headline, not just once but multiple times over to get you in there.

Then rumours are born and average Joe blogs comes on here with their 'inside source' rhymes with fish.

17 May 2017 03:15:28
I think they meant to say leg end!

17 May 2017 11:14:56
What Lafferty and the others did in our darkest hour is indefensible but any player than can improve the team (Waghorn is rubbish) should be considered. We must rise above his past mistake, Rangers supporters should prove that we can forgive and forget. If he scores the winner in an old firm match he will be a hero.

17 May 2017 16:57:27
I will take Naismith back gladly and would come over to the UK and drive Steve Davis to Ibrox but Lafferty, no thanks, he was a total embarrassment when he was at Rangers before, more headlines on the front page than on the back page. He would be a liability!

18 May 2017 09:58:23
Laverty isn't a legend we can all agree on that. But neither is the likes of weiss who is lauded by some rangers fans as a legend. Weiss played 23 games for rangers so I don't know we're all this hero worshiping comes from. Lafferty was a better servant to the club than many of the other ex players who are hero worshipped!

18 May 2017 11:59:22
thebluedrew the guys isn't what we need to catch celtic he just isn't anywhere near the kind of striker we need even when he was in his prime.
i don't care that he left i'd take back naisy i a heartbeat as he is a class player where as lafferty has went backwards and wouldn't get more than 16 goals in a season so naw i don't want him never rangers class to begin with and never will be i'd rather stick with waggy

16 May 2017 21:37:40
I personally think Alves is as lightly to come to us as the crazy rumours last year (remember a certain legendary Dutch striker? ) I would imagine he'd be more lightly to goto the likes of Man U with Jose if he wants to play in the U. K. He's still got it, would be good cover for their squad with possible European games to come next season. I'd love him to come don't get me wrong but I think we're getting a bit carried away to be honest. What kind of wages is he on anyway? It's likely to be miles more than we can pay.

16 May 2017 22:15:57
Matt there is no reason for him to come to Rangers. Why would he not go straight to the EPL. Every player in Scotland is trying to get there so why would he misz that and come to Rangers. Get real people

17 May 2017 01:25:27
The guy came out and said he's flattered by the interest from rangers which can be translated into "come and get me". So I don't see why it's too far fetched that he'd sign for us

17 May 2017 03:18:09
I would like to think that he will come to Rangers and I am sure that Pedro could convince him to come. My problem is who will fund the transfer since I have no faith whatsoever in King and will believe nothing until I see four or five top quality players walk through the front door.

The comments today regarding McKay just sound like Pedro has no money to offer decent quality contracts!

17 May 2017 08:53:19
Man Utd? Maybe they want MOH too!

17 May 2017 15:23:42
Jose has a bottomless pit of money to spend why would he want a 35yr old when he can spend and get one 10 yr younger, give yourself a shake, Alves won't be on any top 6 PL clubs radar, moon howling at best, Alves for Utd PMSL

19 May 2017 12:09:27
alves is a top quality player but is also 25 and clubs down south are not looking for a player of that age so why wouldn't he come to rangers and play in europe again people are forgetting what a great club rangers are just because we are skint.

we have great history one of the most succesfull teams in the world and a great stadium and one of the biggest supports in the world.

maybe just maybe that's enough for him to come to us .

some of you soo called rangers fans need to get a grip on who we are as all the time i'm hearing why would this one come why would that one come if u seriously have to ask that question then your not a true supporter of this club i believe my club is one of the biggest names in the game and we are recovering from a very bad and unlucky spell of fortune so just because we have been terrible on the pitch 4/ 5 years doesn't mean we can't get better quality.

16 May 2017 21:03:01
By going what Pedro was talking about today, it seems our main striker next season will be Garner.
Seems that Pedro is looking at getting more crosses into the box to bring out the best in him.

Ed - how about a poll to see whether fan want Garner to stay or have a new striker.

{Ed033's Note -

Garner Poll

17 May 2017 04:34:19
I like Garner and hope we stay. He's got balls and can finish would be good as part of a two. So both lol

17 May 2017 09:01:41
He has the right attitude, decent link up play, wins 99% of headers and will get goals if he gets chances! That's a million miles better than what we have / can attract at this time. Also, I doubt we'd get more than we paid for him so I'd definitely keep him and play him as our main striker next year!

17 May 2017 09:26:08
Would be really good if people didn't judge Garner on this season. The boy is an Aerial threat, Warburton doesn't do balls in the box. Was a strange purchase, now we have a manager who will utilise Garners strengths.

17 May 2017 10:14:47
Looks like we are going to get 1 or 2 genuine wingers.

16 May 2017 20:56:33
Pedro' reaction to the overeaction to last weeks celebration - And your point caller ees? ๐Ÿค”

16 May 2017 21:29:25
You should have the option of pair garner with another new striker. Because garner isn't a silky finisher but doesn't lose much in the air and has more desire than the majority of the squad put together

16 May 2017 15:31:26
Like Pedro's style with the manager mind games. At last someone with a pair
Rossiter back for pre-season hmmm I give him 8-10 days.

16 May 2017 16:42:39
lego, do you even know what was wrong with rossiter.

ive heard he had a growth problem like messi did and that's why our board and managers didn't want to say anything.

i think if he has been treated and gets back to 100 percent then he could be our MVP (sell on wise) in a year or two

16 May 2017 16:25:17
I also enjoyed reading about Aberdeen coming to the end of their time as second best. Like pedros style, hope he gets what he needs to back up the talk.

Lafferty (i know most hate him but he's decent, free, and seen hodson talking him up for a return), Jack, Alves, another cb, another rm and that would be a real good summer.

16 May 2017 17:56:56
Ogbear

Lafferty isn't a prolific scorer so if you think he is the answer to our striking problems then you delusional

16 May 2017 20:26:05
does he need to be prolific? when he plays international games he does the business. i think he would come back with a point to prove and he'd be one of the best strikers in the league, all on free transfer. that's common sense not delusional.

17 May 2017 03:20:17
Personally I don't want Lafferty anywhere near Rangers. If we can't sign better than him we seriously do have problems!

16 May 2017 14:15:24
Surely we should be attempting to sign Kelvin Wilson and not Hibs as the lad is a smashing player and would do a great job for us?

16 May 2017 14:57:32
8 games for Rotherham. smashing player.

16 May 2017 15:54:55
Only way I would take a Wilson is in s swap deal with Kiernan.

16 May 2017 16:43:18
yately, no would be the answer to that

16 May 2017 17:58:42
couldn't swap Keirnan for a chocolate tea pot:-)

16 May 2017 14:11:32
Folk questioning pedro's transfer policy in the rags because he won't give Clint Hill a contract but wants to sign Alves. Wait. What?

Let's not get carried away with Clint Hill. Played well in amongst a bunch of under achievers. Hasn't played every game this season because he couldn't keep up his fitness due to age. Said so himself. Cheers for a decent season big man but cheerio.

Bruno alves. Euro 2016 winner last year? Yes please.

16 May 2017 16:44:34
i know its the same people that want hill to stay that are saying alves is too old. quite hilarious really.

yes the big chap isn't the fastest but neither was hill and alves has a much much better pedigree.

16 May 2017 11:48:43
Bears if we are low on funds THREE players to be brought in imo
Alves
Dorrans
A Striker?
If Rossiter is fit him and Dorrans in CM with McKay and Atayaki either side!
Even still I really do think Garner with Miller can do a job. And blood Rudden etc
Starting to think this window is going to be a let down regarding numbers IN.
Need to sign McKay up or Warbs might nip in end of Window!
IMO we should really get Dorrans! If Alves comes so be it btw how much for Moult or Boyce for that matter!

16 May 2017 13:40:21
What is it with people and Atayaki? He hasn't kicked a ball for the 1st team yet and we all seem to think he is a world beater.

16 May 2017 13:45:03
Pedro has already said that Garner will be the main man next year.

16 May 2017 13:54:21
Garner will be good if he gets the right type of service. He wins 90% of his headers and most of his goals are coming from the odd cross we throw into the box but somehow it doesn't seem like there is enough urgency to get more crosses in.

16 May 2017 13:47:42
dorrans is of to the staes I've read and atakayi is but a boy and should maybe be loaned out if possible before e gets a shout in our team.

i can't believe some people though they all wanting hill to stay on even though we have had the worst defensive record in our great history with the amount of goals we have let in.

for me alves yes is 35 but a much much higher quality of player than hill and would command the defence / team very well for me if he wants to come and we can reach a wage affordable to us then its a no brainer

16 May 2017 18:00:49
It's incredible how people seem to think a young guy who has never played for the first team should be a first choice pick.

17 May 2017 03:22:38
We need experienced internationalists in the team for next season. By all means blood the boys when we are three goals up but we need to be out there winning games!

16 May 2017 11:25:17
thoughts on Barjonas guys could he start tomorrowe after 2 sub appearances.

16 May 2017 11:48:39
Hard to tell with the short time he has been on the pitch. He looks quite sturdy and liked to take up a position in front of the defence. Also he stuck closely to Cowie when he was in the middle, instead of this 10 paces away stuff that the rest of the midfield same to favour. Nothing to lose by giving him a couple of runouts.

16 May 2017 10:29:36
With Rossiter and Kranjcar both back in training surely they will be like two new signings for us. If we get Ryan Jack which now sounds likely that's a pretty good foundation for the middle of the park. I'd keep Windass and bring Burt into the fray for midfield competition. I agree with other posters about Garner. He has scored in recent games and if he gets the supply I'd keep him and sign Naismith to play up front with him. I'd also back the attempt to sign Alves for central defence and Bates and Beerman will surely develop next season.

16 May 2017 10:54:37
Hopefully we will no longer be linked to any Strikers as Pedro has stated Garner will be his main man for next year.

16 May 2017 11:21:51
what about Barjonas guys he could do well surely

16 May 2017 11:38:03
Windass is awful, we'd be better off with his dad.

16 May 2017 13:10:22
I agree with giving Burt a chance, every time I watch our youth team he just oozes class. I would get him in for preseason if he doesn't perform in friendlies and first few games I would like to see us loan him out to Championship or bottom half Premier team but personally I think he could handle step up

16 May 2017 15:48:08
Garner and Dodoo upfront and the goals will flow.

16 May 2017 16:46:55
yes now we are talking doiger, bring back naisy and hopefully the minority of stupidly stubborn people won't ruin our chance of getting him back.

he is far better than what we have and would be a great player for us again

16 May 2017 00:53:00
Could we afford mclean, shinnie, moult, alves, hayes or mcginn. And Mby one more player from abroad?

16 May 2017 01:30:01
Don't want mcginn

16 May 2017 04:58:24
mcginn is a huge celtic fan .

did he no support ireland when he was on the bench for northern ireland or something crazy

16 May 2017 05:48:40
Miller went between teams. Why can't mcginn, grow up lol

16 May 2017 08:05:17
Are you guys on about Niall McGinn? the guy who has signed a pre-contract with MK Dons?

16 May 2017 08:05:46
McGinn is off to Mk Dons.

16 May 2017 09:32:05
I thought it was Pawlett who signed for MK Dons? McGinn is rumored to be moving down south. Either way, We want a better team than Aberdeen, so why would we want to take most of their players? Jack is good enough for me, I've liked the kid since he came n the seen as a right back and then got moved to a DM role. The rest, we can get better

16 May 2017 09:38:14
Sorry to be a nitpick er but McGinn's team mate, Pawlett has signed a pre contract with MK Dons but never seen any where that he has. Lots of lower league English clubs interested though. As for signing him would rather keep McKay (if he can find regular good form) .

16 May 2017 10:29:26
I assumed he meant John McGinn?

16 May 2017 11:25:19
Neil mccann supported celtic. Dalglish supported rangers. Big deal! And he always gives his all for Northern Ireland.

16 May 2017 11:33:51
John mginn

16 May 2017 13:11:40
If we want to sign the Sheeps best players surely Johny Hayes and Adam Rooney are where you'd start along with Ryan Jack

16 May 2017 20:37:06
Don't want any of them apart from alves

16 May 2017 00:07:34
Think we should try sign huntelaar he's a free agent. would score for fun in Scotland.

16 May 2017 00:50:01
The answer is a word that rhymes with your name caw.

16 May 2017 01:32:29
It wasn't a question. am sayn a think we should lol

16 May 2017 04:58:50
aye Hunty at ibrox lol

16 May 2017 07:31:20
I know it's all about opinions caw. But I might aswell say how about Ronaldo at ibrox, think he'd score loads? We can't even afford to get a shirt printed with his name on it let alone sign huntelaar.

16 May 2017 11:23:54
he would do well here. A big bustling centre forward. Always rated him. Let's hope he is on the radar.

16 May 2017 13:55:35
i think he was taking the hit and miss james 2016 and if you weren't caw then go see a doctor mate! lol
