don't you hate all the people who come in with there version of new arranged teams for sat, more than likely the team will be the same as normal, who haven't lost a game (spl) so why change.

mcgregor
whittaker gioan bocanegra wallace
mckay davis edu papac
lafferty jelavic

subs on
wylde mcculloch bedoya

Believable1 Unbelievable1

I agree that the team wont change, but why have sasa wide left. All he does is get the ball turn back and either pass sideways or backwards. If your going to play him , play him left back where he should be.

we talk about giving our young ones a a run but as long as we play people out of position i.e. sasa its never going to happen. I can see why he wants to play this system after all we have Barca coming to ibrox on saturday

Agree0 Disagree0

Wylde is banned, so it will not be the same team. Blue4ever

Wallace is also injuredso team will be

So whats your next so called superstar ready for retirement. Freddie i'll take your money but i didnae really want to be seen in that strip, Robbie wheres the goals aye that move won you the league, and recently Zenden didn't fancy it but then again its a big gap. So i can understand your issues. So sleep well. Blue4ever

I think these Celtic fans live on that other planet, in another universe, the one Peter Lawell was on about. The planet that they are not 12 points behind us.

Seep Blatter is quoted saying 'there is no racism in football' and any disputes should be settled with a handshake. What is that guy all about? Is he for real? This guy is running our game aswell. He needs to get the bump after a statement like that.

RANGERS will deliver another social media first for Scottish football this weekend as the club offers a Hindi Twitter commentary of the SPL clash with St Johnstone.

This because the two Indian boys that's coming over for a trial. It looks like we are in demand over in that part of the world. Craig Whyte is a very smart man if you ask me.

It defenetley seems like it a think rangers could actually make a lot of money all because of his business plans a defenetley think the BBC were talking crap about Mr whyte

spoke to a few rangers fans at work regarding team GB strip and most said they would defo buy it,what did surprise me was that most of them say they would rather have GB as their national team as opposed to Scotland, any thoughts on this guys?

Believable4 Unbelievable5

No chance it would always be English players and the media would drive me bonkers, put it this way would u be happy if uefa said rangers and Celtic where to come together, England are Scotland's enemy

Agree3 Disagree3

To be honest, not many rangers fans want to watch the football that scotland are producing and i stress AT THE MOMENT. if the football was worth watching then maybe the support would be better. i mean 2-1 against cyprus? we should be shafting this lot by 4/5 goals
simple fact is this, other than mcgreggor and fletcher...what other scotland player would be given preference in team GB?

Agree2 Disagree1

Why are England Scotland's enemy as the guy posted earlier. I've never understood this weird 'we hate the English' mentality. I would happily support a team GB.

GovanFR

Agree4 Disagree1

..No English hate from me..but there is no way i,d be interested in a team GB..i,m a Rangers supporting Scotsman and in football for me theres only one national team...

Agree5 Disagree2

I'm a gers fan and I'm proud to be Scottish. I will watch and support Scotland no matter how they play. Not too fussed about the GB team, I don't hate anybody, some people do my nut in but that's a different story lol.
peace.

pappy

Agree0 Disagree1

Spain drew with the mighty Costa rica last nite should they nut be putting 5 by them?

Agree1 Disagree0

I for one could not support scotland with any great passion as i could not bring myself to cheer on anyone in the team who also pulls on a celtic shirt i.e. the clown that is broony ! s.p. {Ed014's Note - That is very sad.

Agree3 Disagree6

To the "the clown that is broony " poster grow up and no im not a tim....

Agree3 Disagree2

Scotland always! Even though we're pish and it does my nut in you have to support your team through good times and bad. Rangers and Scotland all the way!

Rossco Cyprus Bear

Agree3 Disagree1

I'm doing my investigation into the post about the post about broony. I've came to the conclusion that it's some one at the wind up. The reason being is when has ever a Rangers supporter/fan ever called Scott Brown (broony) nice try sp and grow up. It won't be long till Santa comes are you excited?

Is anyone else like myself worried if jelavic is sold cause I think Mr tight will replace him with a cheap option, any thoughts ed? {Ed014's Note - It depends on what you mean by cheap.Big price tags doesn't guarantee success.I think it is more to do with IF the player wants to leave rather than him being forced out.

Believable1 Unbelievable0

Jelavic was always gonna be sold at some point, but i think we have been good at buying decent strikers.

Im a rangers fan and i will support any celtic player while there playing with scotland that statement about brown is something a 12 year old would say get a grip

Just popped into Rangers store at Ibrox their on my way him from work. Just to let everyone know that when I picked up the goalie strip for my son and went to pay for it I got asked if I was a season ticket holder and could I show her my smart cards. So I ran out to the car for it showed her the season tickets and to my surprise she said to me its buy one get one free. So I went and got my son the away strip aswell Ya Dancer :-). I got 2 full strips for £60. Get yourself over there bears. Don't forget your season tickets.

Followfollow81

Believable9 Unbelievable1

Is it 60 pound for a football top now? What a rip off

Agree1 Disagree4

£35 for the goalie top £16 for the shorts £9 for the socks and get any other strip for free. I think the adult tops are £40. If your son or daughter is a member of the junior club take the membership with you and you will get 10% off.

Not so much a rumour but more to gauge opinion; why are we being linked with players like aluko and the indian boys? surely they aren't much better than any the young guys coming through i.e. wylde, fleck, ness, hutton (on loan i know), hemmings etc. Isn't this a chance to replicate what happened with bringing wilson in whilse naisy's injured.

Should we avoid signing more bench warmers like kerkar and bring through our own youth who would sweat blood for the jersey?

Also if it is possible in Jan i'd love to sign Rhodes.

Believable5 Unbelievable2

How can you one minute say we should be pushing youths through instead of buying players then at the end finish by signing a player (who I have heard is a celtic fan) talk about cake and eating it.

Ive also thought players like aluko and tauoil are good players but if you play with great players it makes you better.

Alexcee

Agree1 Disagree2

I look at Rhodes as a massive prospect (he's hardly be the first celtic fan to sign). I don't expect us to sign no one but if we have to then at least make it worthwhile.

Agree2 Disagree0

Supporting a club means nothing nowadays it's who can offer the most money look at goodwillie life long gers fan who choose the cash before the club

He isn't a celtic fan. He is english [I know he plays for scotland but he was born in england] . i heard he supported man u

European clubs can break away from UEFA in 2014. This has prompted some clubs in the European Club Asocciation to discuss the prospect of a European league. Barcelona have pushed this idea today according to Graham Hunter at a meeting with the ECA. They want to reduce the size of La Liga to approx 16 teams and for domestic league games to be played midweek. Allowing a european league fixture to take place at the weekend. Obviously Barca are at a different level, as are the likes of Man Utd, Bayern, AC, Inter ect. But this could maybe present the opportunity for other european outwith "the elite" to forge a similar format league. Imagine Rangers and Celtic in a league with Anderlect, Porto, Copenhagen, Rosenberg, Ajax ect? Lets face it the dutch and portugese league lacks the competitive edge as our league does. We could have a league that would generate some serious money, great attendances, attract good calibre of players and of course a competitive edge. I know this is a mile off but if the big clubs are discussing it then theres hope. J1985

Believable2 Unbelievable1

But did you read what Barca want aswell? The want to reduce their league to 16 but want an extra 4 places in the champions league. They want all the big countries to have 8 teams in the competition. That wouldn't be goo for the smaller nations. They only want to play the quarter final semi final and final at weekends. They want to do away with friendly matches. I don't think we have a say in it. It wouldn't be good for Scotland.
Followfollow81

Agree2 Disagree0

Looms like Barca want to push the smaller nations further away. Imo 4 from each big country in the CL is too much and what started our downward euro spiral and the Premiership boom. I agree with the post for the Atlantic League, names like Rangers, Ajax, Rosenborg, PSV, Porto, Lisbon etc etc should be up there above Spurs and Fulham.

Tic fan comming in piece.

Just talking to a few guys in work about jellyfish. Which EPL do you think he will go to & for how much ?

Personally think your looking at 7.5m upwards for him but knowing the EPL & buying players from Scotland would be surprised if it reaches double figures.

Thoughts ?

Lenny

Believable0 Unbelievable2

Chelsea- 51m, torres benchwarmer

Agree4 Disagree0

Sunderland possibly if they lose Gyan on the long term seen as he seems to want away Spurs maybe as they wont be able to afford adebayors wages long term and lack a consistantly scoring striker. Im not sure its hard to predict in football. i wouldnt take any less than 8.5 for him for the simple fact that at this moment in time he is worth that to us with his goals ability and what he gives the team.

BlueStu

Agree0 Disagree2

He will be overporced i reckon so anything above the 8m marker ... its not so much what he is worth but more what he is worth to rangers .... He is prob our most talented player and a clear stand out up front.. he is 1st choice and an automatic pick, in good form and scoring goals with decne tamount of time on his contract all these factors inflate his price. I dont think this is where he would end up but im thinking of the best team in the league he could get a game for and i honestly think he is just as good a player if not better than Andy Carrol so could see him getting a game for 'pool whether they would be interested or not is another question .. id expect that if he was to go to a team it might be newcastle ... he'd get a game easily there, get good money and they are in good form.

Germinator

Agree0 Disagree1

Generally, the bigger money transfers don't take place until the summer moves, if we keep hold of Jela until then, I think we could possibly be looking at an easy 10 mil + price tag. Is this wishful thinking, Lenny ? Lol....... Rangers 'Til I die

Agree2 Disagree0

Not all the time .... in circumstances were a players contract is about to run out then yeah ... but if teams think they must have a player to achieve their goal then expect huge inflation in prices ..... ie torres and carrol .. also teams are le likely to sell during the season so teams need to offer more to get them ..... I think the 8m-10m in xmas (assuming we aint under no pressure to sell) but only bout 7-8m come summer. As he will be further into his contract and there will be more time to pick a replacement who in turn will prb be cheaper etc ..

Germinator

Agree0 Disagree0

Jelavic has stated that he would only consider a move to a top 6 EPL team. Quite honestly i think the guy is better than most of the strikers at these teams but Rangers will have to be realistic with their price tag. 9m would be a fair price.

to teh question posted yesterday about Penny Arcade, i had a wee ask around the guys from my bus who are involved with supportersd clubs about it. they came up with the explaination it did come into fashion lately as a wind up to celtic BUT as a sly dig at oursleves. effectivley we're ripping ourselves and laughing at them, highlighting the fact we're skint, have no money yet still produce success. there's no bigitory or sectarianism involved.
the line "roll up and spend your last dime" is aimed at ourselves.

Man Utd reported to be 400 odd million in debt, down from 500 odd last years. This begs the question, If sky had to pull all their money out of the epl would teams like Man Utd, Liverpool and Arsenal struggle? I say these 3 because Man City and Chelsea have rich individuals as owners, but again if they walked because of no sky money comin in, think of the mess that would cause down there.

I disagree with the team for Saturday, my views are why make changes you don't need to:
The only changes I would make would be due to injury, ie, wallace may not be fit, lafferty may not be fit but should be as he has had 2 weeks for a dead leg.

For me Cosity should keep a winning team:

Mcgregor

Whitts Goian Boccanegra Papac

Edu Davis Bartley Mckay

Lafferty Jelavic

I though against Dundee Utd that Bedoya looked good when he came on so he will be in the running as should ortiz and hemmings after good displays against corby, but for me keep the team that is winning and 12 points clear.
