Please send for billy Davies now before it's too late, we could be left a total wreck if we don't get promoted, does mcoist really believe the likes of airs, Templeton, black, law etc are capable of winning a game against a good young hearts team ? No chance, and BTW, Robbie neilson has already proved himself a far better boss than fatarse, enuf is enuf, if he doesn't walk then we will know hhe doesn't care

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I seen it mentioned that billy Davies has been at Broxburn watching our last 3 or4games, not sure if there's any truth in it, we know some of these people will print anything to sell there papers

Agree0 Disagree0

Tommy you better add our current keeper to that list, he is very suspect

Billy06: He was definitely at the St Johnstone game, but he is an ex Rangers player. Who knows? Maybe the other million from Ashley is to bin Ally.

Agree0 Disagree0

What is the deal with everyone wanting billy Davies. He's been the manager of a few clubs got a promotion either chucks it or falls out with a chairman then chucks it surely we could do better than him. I'm not slandering the guy I'm sure he's a decent chap he's just no for me if we get a new boss

I wonder how many of the boy otters would return if we got rid of this clown? Would definitely be worth paying him off to increase the revenue stream. Tactics and substitution were an absolute disgrace yesterday.

Agree0 Disagree0

@4 I don't want him either mate, just said he was at the game. Hateley was there as well, probably two ex players taking in the match. Who would you have yourself?

Agree0 Disagree0

Gkk I honestly don't know it will be a hard job I thought the manager could have saved his job after first season by getting a fresh pair of eyes in his coaching staff, it's by that now. I'm stumped to who I think would do a good job

gKK, it's a nice thought mate that we could have a change of manager, and always great to hear who fellow Bears would like as a replacement, personally I would like to see Neil Mccann given a go he comes across as someone with a vast knowledge of the game and i'm sure he would have us playing good football and not be afraid to give youth a chance.

Agree0 Disagree0

Billy Davies my a#%e. the guy we should be looking at is alex Neil of hamilton. and tell him to bring all the coaching staff with him. probably wouldn't come. step down for him😏😏

soton bear: I'd love to see Brentford manager Mark Warburton up here, big Davie Weir is his no2 as well.A young team brilliant attacking football, never happen though.

Agree0 Disagree0

Soton bear every time Neil McCann speaks about football he always makes sense, clever man knows his stuff

Agree0 Disagree0

To All above re managers position --- fellow bears we have an inexperienced manager at the helm at the moment let's not replace him with another -- my choice would be the man who started at Beith juniors -- St Mirren then Chelsea ---- Steve Clarke ----- if we could get him.

Agree0 Disagree0

Part of the reason the crowds are so low at Ibrox is definitely down to Ally and his shocking tactics, tactical ineptness and lack of coaching ability. The team has been very poor under him and poor to watch

Agree0 Disagree0

As i said yesterday simples macoist must go but billy davis not the answer his private life does not stack up ton be a manager of rangers

Agree0 Disagree0

Myself & 4 mates left at half-time on Saturday it's the first time ever, we just could not see the team improving after a half-time pep-talk from our glorious leader. I was payg but not now, I'm afraid I'll be a no-show while the "cheeky chappie" and his 2 partners in crime are still involved. This situation is easily fixed! just sack them and let a tribunal decide any comp they think they are due.

Wull61: Aye right enough pal,our standards are impeccable at the moment from top to bottom.

Billy Davies, the manager who can't stand anyone criticising him or his tactics, he would do well wouldn't he. Can you imagine him at Pittodrie or Celtic Park, he wouldn't last 5 mins. On top of that he isn't a great manager either. The issue Rangers have is the last 3 years McCoist has brought in poor players and to make them competitive will need major investment. DK highlighted this last year, one of the few sensible things he has said. The players are not good enough so you could have Mourinho in charge and he couldn't do anything with them. Comfort zone for the old guys, boost to the wage packet, sure Boyd has had his wages tripled by moving to Rangers. The only thing that woudl make sense would be a mass cull of all the "dross" high earners, once who don't contribute and ones who can't take the club forward because they are too old. Start again with young players, there are lots of them around and IF McCoist is the coach he thinks he is then moulding them into his team should be easy. unless he just wants to put Walter's team back together again.

Allymac: I think most of your points are spot on,apart from ALL the players he brought in being p**h.Nicky Law,what happened to the driving box to box midfielder he was at Motherwell?always demanding the ball, now he's hiding or passes it off or sideways.Templeton at first I thought we knocked it off with him,two good feet, always willing to take on his man.
Now the boy looks a nervous wreck every time the ball comes near him.
Nicky Clark has great potential, but he's not going to fulfill it under McCoist.
My point is they have all gone backwards badly, even Dean Sheils was a good player at Kilmarnock.Enough is enough.

Agree0 Disagree0

Gkk beleive me billy davis his credentials are very far from impeccable

Agree0 Disagree0

No one fulfil there potential under macoist even when u are one of his favourites mans a kidder but u know what the old saying u can fool some of the people some the the time the rest is history

Agree0 Disagree0

@19

Spot on mate it's uncanny just how many good players have went back under the manager. To me we look like a team that just turns up on a Saturday for a game having had no training the whole week. I am astonished that someone like McCoist who played at the highest level could be so clueless. One thing he relied on was excellent service while he was a player however he doesn't seem to realise this now as manager

Agree0 Disagree0

Stewie spot on i think murray park tannoy blast out good morning campers then its breakfast we kick about lunch then the bookies and that's it macoist decides who will punt the ba up the park in the next game and when he brings boyd off and j daly on and that's the tactics sorted

@20:I was being sarcastic mate(I know its the lowest form of wit, allegedly) you said Billy Davies private life was not befitting of a Rangers manager. I was pointing out OUR shortcomings on and off the field at the moment.

Ally tuns good players into average as he cannot pass on any knowledge or coaching they eventually lose belief and the result shows on the pitch. george

Agree0 Disagree0

Gkk i understand but i cannot say anything about his history on site jist that it would not be right

Lets hope that Ashleys extra million is to be used to get rid of Mr Mccoist. I can't use the term manager to describe him after another disgrace yesterday which i fear may put us out of contention to win the league this year. Unacceptable.

I fully understand the anger after yesterday but you've got to feel for McCoist. Three sitters missed by professional footballers. No manager can legislate for that.

Sometimes you've got to blame the player and how many times have we heard on this site that Boyd will score goals for fun when he returns. Where's the fun ? The Telfer departure wasn't his doing but I do think he should have kept McKay from going out on lone but that said, every fault of every player is blamed on the manager. Not on.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Kfraser. I sympathise with your view but you really can't find any excuses for McCoist. If he'd insisted that we keep the promising youngsters and build a team round them (includes Telfer and Mackay) and NOT sign the like of Boyd, Miller, Black and Law, we'd probably have a young, exciting team competing for the title. Yes, players like Boyd should score more but I think he is over the hill as are the other aforementioned players. Oh to see a team with Gallagher, Crawford, Mackay, McLeod, Aird, Murdoch on the team sheet. We should be breezing the Championship with the experienced players on our books. Defeat next week and McCoist must go as out title hopes will be dead - but who will sack him?!

Agree0 Disagree0

Kfraser it must be remembered it was ally that brought these well paid professional player to play for our club

Agree0 Disagree0

@1

Your right mate the team is littered with players past their best. Miller, Boyd, McCulloch, and Simonsen. Add to that players who have always been dire like Foster, Black & Smith. Sprinkle in the shocking signings of Peralta and Moshni and finally the good signings like Shiels, Templeton Law and Clarke who have went backwards alarmingly.
