Getting back to talking football, the poll today is asking was it a mistake cancelling Cowdenbeath game?
My humble opinion is yes because even though Hearts played poorly against Alloa a 1-0 victory still took all 3 points leaving them 9 points and almost importantly 13 goals superior goal difference, which is worth an extra point.
Your team still has to go to Tynecastle twice (all Hearts need is two draws) and Easter Road twice (would you be confident of all 6 points there also?)
I expect Hearts to drop more points, but I also expect Rangers to drop more also, Hearts only need to ensure they keep their points difference intact between both clubs.

I would be confident of 6 pts at Easter Road because besides the Ibrox game Hibs are not a good team.

Exactly when did Rangers becomei such a good team?

Agree0 Disagree0

@1 do u think rangers are a good team?

Agree0 Disagree0

Ok, the point is look at some of Hibs results, losing to Falkirk at home, losing to QOS and Alloa and drawing with Dumbarton.
This is a team that we should be beating. Even given the way we r playing we tend to find a way to beat the lesser teams, then again Hibs only seem to play against us and not the lesser teams as we saw at Ibrox, so maybe they r our jinx team this season.

Johns i think it was easy for hibs for one reason they have got a manager that knows what he is doing he watched us play and knew they had the players to play fast counter attacking football its that simple mate eh maybe if ally had watched hibs he would have used better tictacs lol

Agree0 Disagree0

Totally agree with you tmwtn. our manager? had already seen Hivs play against us in the diddy cup when we struggled against 10 men but it made absolutely no difference to him or his "tactics" he just could not change things. I watched a replay of the shambolic league game and the cameras switched to the directors box, almost to a man every manager in our division was there taking notes. I know Ally hasn't a clue but at the very least he could show a little bit of willingess to justify his wages! or does this lazy apathetic attitude to his job tranfer to Auchenhowie where the players just have a laugh instead of trying to get fit?

Timalloy, where have you been hiding? A few years ago we couldn't get you off this page. Of course it was a mistake, it was mental to cancel the game. We have now let hearts go 9 points clear and put pressure on the team to win the game in hand which will probably be played on a freezing winters night midweek. I suppose it will give mccoist the chance to use the excuse of a fixture pile up.

Youngwinston i read the players don't play much football at murray park cause its the synthetic pitch that's there i don't imagine there is any truth in it but I've heard ally is a good bella player lol

@ ABH ABH Below may I suggest he reads the news report dated 29th Aug 2013 that clearly states the criminal charges against Dave King were dropped by the South African authorities for a settlement of 43.7 mil.

Any particular publication? Anyway this is getting boring. Try this article. Maybe slightly misleading but all the facts are there if you read it fully. Note he pled guilty to 41 lesser charges.
