Hate posting after a poor result because like everyone else it leads to knee jerk and over reaction but now it's been 24 hrs, a fair amount of time has come and went that everyone can comment on the result without emotion playing too big a part.

It's not the end of the world, nor Is it ideal given the fact we've drawn with a managerless Hearts 0-0 at Ibrox and got beaten at Ibrox by a referee and a team promoted from Scotland's second tier.

The only result that's really shocked me was the 0-0 with Hearts.

Folk were going into last night's game against Thistle, certain we were picking up three points.

Optimism is great within reason. But when your case for optimism is based on beating a pretty poor Dundee side 4-1 at home and a pretty poor Ross County team 3-1 away from home, your kind of setting up for a fall, when hickups like last night happen.

It's a new team gelling. Like every team in Scotland outwith those from the east end. That produces unexpected results whether it's Rangers, Aberdeen or anyone.

Ultimately the group and PC need time and overreacting game to game helps no one apart from our enemies.

16 Sep 2017 20:30:08
Very good and measured post thorn. I expected us to be kicking on yesterday considering we seemed to be gelling. I'm unsure now as to whether that was a blip or if that's as good as it gets. We got bullied and good teams don't get bullied. Time will tell

16 Sep 2017 20:56:00
I expect us to win every game mate (and yes even those at Celtic park) .

I'm 25, so I'm old enough that I can remember the dominance we had under Sir Walter Smith in his second spell at the club.

But expectations have to be diluted slightly given its almost an entire new first team from back to front.

I expected us to kick on considering it was a relatively early goal we scored. At that point you saw no other winner, but as always the team slack off and let teams get a foot hold back in the game.

We have to defeat Thistle on Tuesday to take something positive into the old firm. Hopefully a few changes in personnel will give the team a spark and prove it was just a glitch.

16 Sep 2017 21:04:45
Thorn everything you said I believe to be true! The days have gone of fortress Ibrox as most teams see us as a big scalp now and raise their game immensely as when the play the unwashed they think they're beat before they play and it's damage limitation! We need to bring back the days of when we play teams they fear us but as we're the " new guys " to the division we have to deal with it accordingly! Now before anyone jumps on the bandwagon and says we were playing away from home I'm saying it metaphorically about the fear factor!

16 Sep 2017 22:08:53
Still feel we're a match for anyone at Ibrox Blackwood.

Couldn't agree more about teams feeling they're already beat before they even kick off against those from the east end. Not only that but the fans of those teams are resigned to it as well, (apart from St Johnstone and Tommy Wright who cope quite well against them on occasion) .

Think the fear factor is a big issue also. The press treat our club and our manager like a laughing stock and that ain't going to change anytime soon.

As appraised to that lot, they get thrashed in Europe at their midden, taught a football lesson and don't get a look in. The next day one of the worst performers in said game gets linked with a big money move to the premier league with Everton, (Ralston) .

It's a shambles.

16 Sep 2017 22:52:08
Most/ all teams think they have a real chance of getting something from us and therefore give it that little bit extra, of that I think we can all agree. We need to get a run of some significance going, one that teams start to think (as they do against Celtic) no point, we're beat. It's that psychological factor we need to get back, teams are beating themselves before a ball is kicked.
I really want PC and the team to do well but I'm just not sure what calibre of player we have. Would any of the present team get into a good Eck side or a WS side (second stint) . I'm starting to doubt it

17 Sep 2017 00:00:33
Start of the season before kick off, Dorrans, Alves, Cardoso, Pena and maybe Herrera were being talked about as being a real massive step up on what we've had and could all ease this league.

Now that there's been some games to judge, Jack, Morelos, Candeias, and perhaps Dorrans, Alves and Cardoso although those three have been a little less consistent.

Overall we've gotten more than we expected from a couple and less than we expected from a couple. Seems that's the way it always pans out.

17 Sep 2017 00:10:55
A good Eck side? Really! Did he inherit a good team that Motherwell won the league for or did he build something new and positive? Sorry but Big Eck for me wasnt good enough. i'm not saying PC is either. For me what is missing is true passion. i'm sure Pedro is really nice but a manager who instills fire and fear into his players is what's needed. pains me to say it but McInnes

17 Sep 2017 03:43:58
Well you can look at it like, everyone raises their game against yous, and that explains the results, or you can look at it like, you are truly at the level of Partick Thistle, and a poor Hearts team (who I expect will win easily, next time), and less than where Hibs are at, and the only real marker that might open your eyes will happen, next weekend.

17 Sep 2017 07:55:52
Commonsense, if pedro caixinha was to be changed as rangers manager and i say IF, as i'm prepared to judge him and the team, at the end of the season, then imho i'd have billy davies as our manager, long before derek mcinnes! Davies is streets ahead of mcinnes as a manager mate! No contest there as far as i'm concerned! We talk about passion, well wee davies has it in abundance, not to mention tremendous managerial and coaching abilities! His record down south in the english championship with numerous clubs, is quite superb!

17 Sep 2017 08:42:33
Didn't think it would be long until the phrase the team is still gelling was trotted out. This is exactly the same rubbish that was spouted this time last season under Warburton. He failed and so will the current manager. Despite the money spent we are very average and not much bette than the Partick Thistles and Motherwells of the league. Manager will either be gone by Xmas or end of season. Agree with supercooper Billy Davies would be a good shout for manager

17 Sep 2017 08:59:11
Commonsense, I was using a good Eck side as a comparison, not saying he built a good side, the guy was average at best imo

17 Sep 2017 13:15:31
billy davies is not the answer. toxic, delusional little man. there's a reason he has been on the dole Q for this long. he is the last thing the club needs!

17 Sep 2017 13:50:01
Sure big 'arry and Frank are out of jobs, we could just go and get them two and fire another 10m their way for a new team. Of course we would have to pay off the current regime and keep paying all their players but that wouldn't matter because we've got loadsamoney

17 Sep 2017 13:50:13
Fair one Cletus. there's a very good reason that Davies can't get a job. no even the Hearts one and yet supercooperleven you reckon he is a better choice than McInbes? Not a chance. Guys toxic

17 Sep 2017 15:19:29
Its guys like you commonsense that billy davies reckons is bad mouthing him and spouting lies, which davies says he's close to proving! Let me get something straight here guys! Derek mcinnes is a good manager but imo not in the same class as billy davies! Check both their managerial records out for yourselves! If we forget all this lies regarding davies off the park and judge him and mcinnes purely on coaching ability, then its a no contest my friends! Like i said billy davies is a far better manager/ coach than derek mcinnes will ever be! Simple as that guys! Judge it for what it is!

17 Sep 2017 15:37:07
davies has a 40 odd percent win record. mcinnes at the sheep is over 50 percent and so is our very own pedro at the clubs he has been at! so i'm inclined to disagree mate, before you take into account all the crackpot conspiracy theories davies spouts. some of it makes very shady reading and is borderline breakdown material. never has been and never will be good enough for our club, in terms of ability or reputation

17 Sep 2017 16:25:13
Billy davies? Supercoop yesterday you wanted jason holt in the team now you want billy davies as manager if pedro goes. Are you at it or do you just spout nonsense as a hobby?

17 Sep 2017 17:19:25
Snell

Difficult to compare managerial win rates for McInnes and Davies. Davies managed in much tougher leagues than McInnes

17 Sep 2017 18:02:07
Honestly guys don't take this the wrong way but how clueless regarding football, can some folk be! Snell, coldo, commonsense and whoever else let me explain just like sparky1320 has also stated! Billy davies successful in england with preston, derby county, notts forest (especially 1st spell) and motherwell in scotland! Always made the championship play offs with all his clubs, took derby county up to the premiership, holds the record for having won, the most manager of the months awards! Hows that regarding davies? Derek mcinnes done a good job at St. johnstone, was a complete FAILURE at bristol City and has done a good jobit over 4 years as the manager of aberdeen, remembering rangers were out the big league for 4 years! Digest it for what it is my friends and surely to god, you must see there's no contest here between davies and mcinnes! Its billy davies by a mile and its there for all to see! COLDO, regarding your statement i want our manager pedro caixinha to be given every chance and time to hopefully succeed! I stated IF he didn't i'd have billy davies! As regards to jason holt again i stated i personally feel in the upcoming old firm game, he'd be a better bet and more reliable than josh (20 minutes) windass, who has no heart and not much workrate to be honest! We can't have any passengers, against them on saturday! Hope you can digest and grasp what i'm saying coldo! Just take a breath and think, when you read my post here!

17 Sep 2017 18:12:54
better standard of football sure, but in terms of club size against the teams they play against i wouldn't say it was that big a difference if that makes sense? was just interesting to look at the actual facts and stats of it all. never mind taking into account davies being a lunatic! haha

17 Sep 2017 20:38:55
Just a hobby then supercoop, have a day off mate.

17 Sep 2017 20:41:23
dont think its people being clueless about football mate, its all just a matter of opinion. just like myself and a few others find it preposterous that out of anyone who would be given the reigns at our club, you choose an unemployed crack job, out of work for five years that every other club he has worked with ended up regretting! i wouldn't give the guy a job flogging the half time pies!

17 Sep 2017 21:15:05
Out of work for 5 years you say snell? So as well as not knowing much about football, you also can't count! Not got that much going for you mate! I'm sure you're good at something! I hazard a guess, maybe netball mate!

16 Sep 2017 18:51:37
I would blame Pedro for the dropping of the 2 points. We can't moan about the free kick, these things happen. There second goal came from the left which when Lee Wallace went off was very exposed with Declan John and Windass having the responsibility, their player had an age to pick his pass for a tap in with no defenders in the left back position. I would have put Lee Hodson or Wilson on. On the back of his interviews and performance Declan J strikes me ask a bit cocky and is underestimating the challenge ahead of him, he shrugged off the old firm like it was a normal game and played against Thistle like he was going to pick the ball up dribble up the wing no probs against mediocre Scottish players, how wrong he was. Anyway winge over, Pedros mistake. Patrick Roberts is going to have a field day down our left if Declan J and Windass are holding the fort, will be interesting to see our line up next weekend.
Fod
Tav Fabio Bruno Hodson
Wilson
Candias Dorrans Jack Miller
Fredo.

16 Sep 2017 21:06:42
I agree with a few things you have said and I'm the biggest Miller admirer going but why Miller there?

16 Sep 2017 23:03:42
I thought Miller should be benched however he has the experience needed for an old firm fixture, he has been dropping deeper which we will need to do in his game. Our flanks will be tested so we need to be stronger in these areas. I hope tav and candias can cope on the right and hodson and poss miller or dorrans on the right. If we can stem there supply and compete in the middle with Brown v Jack then this will be an interesting match although I fear Armstrong and the Aussie on late runs. Should we park the bus, go toe to toe, only Pedro knows how good we are. I wouldn't be surprised if he went 3 3 4. what's your thoughts on LG tying a celic scarf on the posts, good banter, enticing a riot, we would do the same?

17 Sep 2017 03:37:44
Good post TJBB, but too early to form judgement on Declan although I thought he would have done better last night. Had not played though for 3 week. More concerned about Bruno last night, his bravery and leadership. Pedro need to sort the central defence out. Think would play Wilson alongside Bruno on Tues. on the positive side we are scoring goals.

17 Sep 2017 03:38:18
Tav was worse than anyone number of times candeias had to drop in because he kept getting caught way up the park was a disgrace. Guy needs to realise he's a defender first priority is defending if he can go forward that's great but he can't get caught up the park constantly

17 Sep 2017 03:39:14
Remember years ago when PLG aim charge and we were struggling in central defence (think we had a Swedish or Spanish centre half) Walter Smith advised that we needed a physical centre half who could win headers and clear their lines. Watching last night this again looks to be the case. Pedro and Bruno need to sort out over next couple of days.

16 Sep 2017 18:50:18
Been reading on here for a while and today decided to join.

The distinction between our fans is comical at times, people seem to forget that even though we on paper have better players than most teams in Scotland we are and will be for a while still in the process of rebuilding, we do NOT have the spending power of years gone by, nor the quality and I'm sick of the sack brigade one bad result sack the manager, like it or not we aren't at the stage where we should be expected to win most games, support the team and the manager, we all make bad decisions so give it a season not a weekend before judging anyone.

Also Patrick should be fined after that performance the players were clearly out to hurt our players and what ever happened to the 6 second rule for goalkeepers? Most hold it then bounce before 6 seconds but the keeper last night was just taking the jammy dodger lol anyway let's back wee Pedro and get back to where we should be in due course ✌🏻.

16 Sep 2017 20:51:00
Well said RFCubby and welcome

16 Sep 2017 21:09:51
RFCubby I agreed with most of what you said until Partick should be fined! Most teams now are going to be aggressive towards us but we have to deal with this and the cliche of " we're just gelling " comes true at this point as the new signings apart from the brits will know how to play this way!

16 Sep 2017 21:14:58
welcome aboard mate

17 Sep 2017 00:16:22
Hurlock, Souness, Roberts, Butcher, Ian Ferguson, McCall, Bomber. anyway my point is simple. Our best teams all had battlers. Who in our current team is this?

16 Sep 2017 17:47:50
Bad result last night but some good results today no that fust about catching Celtic at the moment more bothered about overtaking Aberdeen first, st Johnstone and hibs dropping points the day to brilliant we, 're still third hope we beat that lot next week would be great for confidence and just to see that invincibles tag toppled when we, 're on our game need to bang in more than one denfence still needs work before we can hang on to 1 goal leads.

16 Sep 2017 18:47:37
Results did go our way today but we have to concentrate in getting our own house in order! We shouldn't be dependant on results from other teams, going our way! On another subject like i've said on these pages, many times before. We should have signed motherwell striker louis moult, while we had the chance before the transfer window closed! It could be a very costly mistake as undoubtedly, there will be a good few clubs chasing moult's signature, come january! He scored another 2 today against hibs! His goalscoring ratio with motherwell is tremendous! What a terrific strikeforce we would have if we'd signed moult and played him and morelos as our striker partnership! IMHO between morelos and moult, injury free, they'd score 50 goals for us a season! That goal tally of your 2 main strikers would guarantee you a close fight for the title! I only hope come january, we're not too late in making a move, to hopefully sign louis moult!

16 Sep 2017 18:50:07
Aarono 76

The invincibles tag was always laughable. Pastings off Barcelona and poor European record last season saw to that

16 Sep 2017 20:30:22
What about arsenal then . That laughable because they lost games in other comps during there invinsability

17 Sep 2017 03:33:53
Based on results of opening 6 games we will finish 32 points behind Celtic compared to 39 last season and will again finish in 3rd place in SPL.

17 Sep 2017 08:45:38
Celticeob

Yes it is laughable too. How can you be called invincibles when you were so poor in Europe? Please explain what your definition of invincible means?

16 Sep 2017 17:38:25
I think what happened on Friday was a team getting in our faces and kicking the players about and some of the guys didn't like it and caused them too hide instead of getting stuck in I would say jack and Morelos where the only Ines to give it back we need too get more bottle in the team and start kicking back when we are kicked it was the same with the hibs result.

We need a team of men.

16 Sep 2017 15:01:19
I think for me I get my hopes built up for at least a title challenge and you need to be hopeful or what's the point but we cannot afford two draws and a defeat thus far and are making it hard for ourselves. I feel in the second half before the sending off we lacked pace, energy and correct pass and Partick did well. We need to have players who can last the 90 and not give stupid mistakes away. It is an improvement on last season though and need to keep positive. On another note mcoist had blue microphone and Seltic Sutton had a green one. Must be banter. 🔴⚪️🔵.

16 Sep 2017 17:01:36
I said during the game that we seemed to lack sharpness both in thought and over the first couple of yards. Passing was slack and unimaginative. If I didn't know any better I'd say I was watching a team a fair bit away from peak match fitness and at this stage that is not really acceptable.

17 Sep 2017 03:32:28
Bluedrama did you honestly think we would challenge Celtic this year they are way ahead of us we are still at the rebuilding stage we look ok going forward scoring goals still not enough for me we are conceding to many full back caught up the park and no one covering for them the first goal last night was a silly foul on edge of our box wicked deflection but why committ the fòul in that position it's give opposition that chance second full back caught out no cover wide player all the time in the world to put in a great cross we need to be switched on need a left winger Windas does it in bursts but not enough for me and a good target man to play with Morelos so I'd say he needs two more transfer windows remember we are starting from scratch eleven new players not all will work some will take longer than others to bed in we need to finish above Aberdeen they are three points ahead of us so let's get behind the manager and the team that's what supporters do

17 Sep 2017 08:46:59
Thinkaboutit

We will never challenge them as long as Pedro is in charge

18 Sep 2017 10:32:21
I knew we wouldn't win the league this year but I expected to close the gap and hopefully get second, get back in Europe and build again next season ultimately trying to stop them getting ten in a row. After the first six games in which we have only managed 3 wins I am starting to doubt we will even finish 2nd. And I'm not being negative or "Pedrobashing" it's my honest opinion based on what Iv saw and the quality of player we currently have at the club.

16 Sep 2017 11:36:31
when the January window opens, Pedro's top priority must be to sell Pena and Herrera. Scottish football is not for them.
Get Walker, Moult and McLean in and put the cheque book away.

16 Sep 2017 13:09:41
Said for weeks pena and herrera were a waste of nearly 5mil. Now people are starting to see this for themselves. Finally.

16 Sep 2017 13:36:17
Getting put on for 20 mins here an there a few times is not enough to be judged on. At least give the boys a season.

16 Sep 2017 14:14:11
I agree Pena hasn't quite got the pace of Scottish football yet I would personally play him up front as a striker with Morelos as he is good in the air and can finish well as for Herrera if we are going to play him we must play it to his feet as a holding player as he is not good in the air regardless of his height.

16 Sep 2017 14:41:25
Lot of fan overreaction as expected. Scored 2 fine goals and defensive errors cost us. Need to get the defence sorted out and playing as a unit. Bruno needs to step up and accept responsibility. Pedro has already said Ainwick will be in goals on Tuesday. With that exception I would stick to the same team and allow them to redeem themselves against thistle. Although we're unhappy with the score, last nights match was exciting stuff and good advert for Scottish football.

16 Sep 2017 15:56:33
Lol aye rite!

16 Sep 2017 16:58:53
Shrewd move from the manager pay £1.5m for Herrera when he could have got Moult for less than half. Another 2 goals for Moult today and 4 games in a row he has scored.

18 Sep 2017 10:33:28
Couldn't agree more Sparky, think everyone knew that these Mexicans were a risk we couldn't afford to take and so for it looks like it's backfired. Moult should have been signed. I would also liked to have seen a good left winger signed someone with pace who can take a man on.

16 Sep 2017 10:54:50
Teams are getting better at parking the bus against us, aberdeen and celtic. that's all I seen last night. A silly mistake at a free kick, second goal was to be fair well taken. He needs to try someone new with morales upfront. Who needs to learn to stay calm.
Before blaming pedro i think you need to look at the players. We struggled up the left when wallace went off. Tav was getting dragged to far forward with them sitting so far back. First half we owned them and if we had played like we played after the second goal they scored through out the match we would have left with 3 points.
Will admit Pena was poor as was herra. But AGAIN referee was shocking for both sides. 2 thistle players should have been sent off aswell as morales. Then giving thistle a free kick in the box when 2 men are sitting on the ball stopping a rangers player from getting it.
Cup game will be interesting

16 Sep 2017 16:00:02
No way did Thistle park the bus until the sending off they were playing much better than us. It was only when they went down to 10 they sat back

16 Sep 2017 17:27:09
they had one spell at start of the second half where they managed to score two. whole first half and after the red, we were the stronger team. anything other than that is just hyperbole

16 Sep 2017 17:56:56
The thing is Thistle scored 2 when they were on top, we just can't seem to keep going when we're on top

16 Sep 2017 23:38:02
if so many teams are parking the bus with us, maybe we have learned how to do it ourselves. I'll bet come the Celtic match we won't know how to drive it, never mind park it

17 Sep 2017 03:31:21
in the first half Thistle where not in the game

18 Sep 2017 10:34:18
Teams park the bus against rangers, Celtic, Aberdeen etc because we have a better quality of player than teams like partick. The difference is Celtic break teams down much better than we do and kill teams off which we don't see to do when we are on top. Aberdeen conceded 3 at Partick thistle and still won the game. When was the last time we conceded 3 goals and won a match? Becos we are not clinical enough.

16 Sep 2017 10:18:27
Disappointing to only draw as I thought we'd go on to win after the goal by Morelos. Having said that, under Warburton if we had gone 2-1 down after leading 1-0 we would have lost. Got to play Rossiter against Celtic and maybe even bring Holt back for Windass. If we lose next week we could be 8 points behind Celtic and Aberdeen and could be again looking at third place at best. Team v Celtic:
Foderingham; Tavernier, Alves, Cardoso, John; Rossiter; Jack, Dorrans, Holt; Morelos, Hardie.

16 Sep 2017 11:07:03
I agree with you doiger! Jason holt gives our team a lot of energy and a helluva lot more than windass, that's for sure! I've always liked wee holt and for the life of me, can't understand why he's faded completely, out the picture altogether! Get holty in for the cup game against the harry rags, on tuesday and in again for the old firm game away week today! You can't have enough of what holt brings to the rangers starting 11,imho!

16 Sep 2017 11:19:45
Windass was poor but he nds to play nxt wk as he gives us more of an attacking threat. Holt got bumped abt like a pinball off Brown the last 2games so i wouldn't building him up as the great white hope

16 Sep 2017 11:30:56
Having suggested my team I'd quite like to see Pena vs Broonie!

16 Sep 2017 13:10:42
My god holt is not the answer! Lmfao.

16 Sep 2017 13:29:10
What is the answer then coldo?

16 Sep 2017 14:26:02
Defo not Holt anyway! Why do we always scream for the players that aren't getting a game like Holt, Barjonas, Hardie?

16 Sep 2017 16:02:20
Holt does nothing and contributes nothing. He just gets brushed off the ball against the Celtic midfield. It's going to be hard enough without playing passengers like Holt

17 Sep 2017 03:30:09
Better players than holt doiger, as I have said if we never wasted nearly 5mil on herrera and pena then we could have moult walker mclean and we would be in better shape as a team. I would also have got the boy shinnie from aberdeen. Derek mcinnes has aberdeen 5 wins and a draw from 6 games. Just saying👍

17 Sep 2017 03:36:26
Think being a bit hard on Holt and nobody has said should be building the team around him. Off the bench I can see him contributing to this team, in fact think Holt on for Miller in second half last night and we could have closed the game out and got 3 points.

16 Sep 2017 09:57:50
Having watched the game over last night I think this was a bad result but not the end of the world. There were plusses and negatives to be taken.
Players notes:
Wallace gone off injured again. Not a captain for me anyway but the more time spent off the pitch the more we need someone else to lead.
Defence seemed sluggish. Tav dithering when we tried to play offside trap at 2nd goal. Maybe his portuguese is poor?
John and Tav ok going forward.
Windass was way off boil.
Candeais was not as good as last week.
Jack and Dorrans were ok.
Morelos took his goal well but was too distracted by Partick's game of digging him. Needs thicker skin.
Miller has been off the boil for a while.
Pena gets into good positions and has good movement but too wasteful on ball and still not sharp enough.
Herrera is worrying. A target man who got nowhere near all the crosses we put in?
Caixinha doesn't seem afraid to ring the changes during a game but his starting line up is too predictable.
Fair play to Partick. they went with a plan to harass and abuse and it worked.
I am not complaining about the amount of players we brought in as we have done well but last night was evidence that we do need another forward and a left winger.
A left winger who can actually stay wide (unlike Windass) would have spread their defence thinner. John was choking to team up with someone.
A target man would have ended some of those crosses.

16 Sep 2017 09:09:00
There's some utter nonsense written on here. If one of those chances went in people would have been praising team spirit and grit for coming from behind to win. The lads were rushing and panicking a bit we weren't far off. Same with the Hearts game we were all over them. We're Plating ok and more positive in general, we allways look like we could or should win and last year you couldn't say that. Celtic will open up more next week there will be no bus parking and there will be space to attack, we will win next week, opinions will change and Pedro will be the special one.

16 Sep 2017 12:19:53
Matt disagree Pedro's team selection and formation doesn't work 2 defensive cm not working with formation we are all over the place at times and it comes straight through the middle he's had more than enough time to get balance of team and correct formation!
Got to be better end of

16 Sep 2017 12:31:52
Did their goalkeeper have a save to make? Lots of huffing and puffing.

16 Sep 2017 12:32:47
Matt, I recall a wonderful song. Dream dream dream all I do is dream. We got a master class on Tuesday night we shall give you one next Saturday. We have a bit to go to match Europe's best, but we expect no challanged from sevco.

16 Sep 2017 15:59:56
We expect no "challenge" from sevco. Fixed it for ya fella guess it's the schooling looool

16 Sep 2017 16:04:33
A bit to go to match PSG? You will never get anywhere near them and in the not too distant future you won't get the chance to play those teams

16 Sep 2017 08:12:50
I think next week will be the big test if we get mauled again then it's time for him to go, he's had heavy defeats last season, and we struggle against teams we should be beating, he's had plenty of time to understand the Scottish game now.

16 Sep 2017 08:57:13
Jake16

Last nights result will happen regularly under him. He isn't the answer and after all the money he has spent we are still an average team with average players. Some fans on here are trying to make heroes out of very average players like Windass, Cardoso and Candias. Totally outplayed by a team with no league wins season until the red card. Really poor stuff again last night and it's 50/ 50 on Tuesday night

16 Sep 2017 09:29:01
Totally out played? What game did you watch. We dominated and just could not score

16 Sep 2017 12:16:53
Bruno Alves was culpable at both goals.

Lacked bravery, turning his back at free kick and defllected ball into his own net for the first goal.

Trying to play offsite and hopelessly out of position at second goal.

16 Sep 2017 12:17:55
Disagree. Individual defensive errors by most experienced player in the league cost us dropped points not the manager.

16 Sep 2017 12:34:49
Sparky you are spot on with your comments Pedro plain and simple not good enough

16 Sep 2017 07:31:17
I think pedro picked the wrong team. Partick are a big physical team they played 3 at the back. We should of had a big target man up front like herrera and morales playing beside him. Windass is not a winger. We were unlucky wallace got injured don't think declan john was match fit. Midfield is too lightweight need a big wanyama type player to destroy people and break up play. I thought jack had a great game until he got stamped on. Dorrans done nothing all game then scored a great goal. I think once all the breadmans duds are replaced we will have a good team - that's foderingham, tavernier, windass and kranjar. Offer miller a coaching role he's finished ball bounces off him and he runs away from the goals everytime! I think pedro wants to replace players with walker, moult and mclean.

16 Sep 2017 08:59:25
RfcChris

Herrera a target man? He is a lump of wood! Other than that I agree with most of what you say. Need to bring in Rossiter to that midfield on Tuesday and next Saturday. I fear another doing next Saturday

16 Sep 2017 12:30:44
Rossiter is a great player and needs his chance. He adds composure and the bite we need in the middle. Your not England captain at any age group without being a good player

16 Sep 2017 07:06:50
Pena is below average, his passing is poor his through ball is too light and his first touch is like some fat guy down the park making goals outta ginger bottles.

16 Sep 2017 07:32:14
I think we need to give him time to adapt to scottish football

16 Sep 2017 07:41:41
Same here Chris, far better players than Pena took time to settle at our club and that was Brittish based players. every time we drop points its an outcry. i know its a big if but if we managed to pull it off nxt wk then Pedro and the team would be the best thing since sliced bread like they were last wk when everyone got excited because we beat Dundee

16 Sep 2017 08:36:30
He's had long enough to adapt, we paid 3 mil approx for this clown

16 Sep 2017 09:05:03
SG34

I don't think any sensible people got excited about beating 1 of the poorest teams in the league at home last week and last nights result and performance was no surprise to many. The manager is rotten and needs to go we won't achieve anything under him. He spent big in the summer on a lot of average players. Actually think Aberdeen spent better and got better players in than we did. Players who know the league and have plenty of experience. Herrera £1.5m when he could have got Moult for less than half that. Not saying Moult is fantastic however he scores goals in the league, causes problems and we could have probably got him and Walker in for not much more than the £1.5m spent on Herrera

16 Sep 2017 11:24:54
Well there can't b many sensible people on this page because everyone was raving last Sat. as i said last nite, Pedro can't be at fault when a player picks the wrong option in the final 3rd or when a defensive wall splits when there's a FK or when Tav doesn't step out when the rest of the defence have

16 Sep 2017 12:11:30
He's had long enough to adapt, we paid 3 mil approx for this clown

16 Sep 2017 16:08:22
SG34

Were you seriously raving after beating Dundee at Ibrox! Is that how bad it is now that you get over excited beating Dundee at home?

16 Sep 2017 16:38:29
Coldo, ever the pessimist. You have some eye for a player. Pena may or may not have been fit when he came here, but he has only played about 80 mins of football coming of the bench. As I have said before, lots of legends of our club were accused of being rubbish when they first played for us. Whether Pena will be a player for us I do not know, haven't seen enough minutes of him.

16 Sep 2017 17:11:48
I wasnt Sparky, if u look at my posts i actually said we couldve bn punished early in the 2nd half last wk it was a number of other posters that were getting overly excited. i try not to get to high or to down when it goes bad. i try to look for positives and i honestly don't think we're as bad as some are making out

16 Sep 2017 17:31:03
Ive no been happy with this team since the europa league exit and it hasn't got any better. Xmas is coming and pedro is going.

16 Sep 2017 01:59:22
Calm down lads early days next week will tell a lot about where we are and if we take another doing will the manager take responsibility?

16 Sep 2017 07:18:54
Read this comment and then saw the name, hows it early doors? This team are hopeless partick worat team in the league, looked like a well oiled machine compared to our shaky defence.

16 Sep 2017 07:43:43
I don't read to much into league posistions when teams play us because they all treat it like a cup final and our players are going to have to learn to deal with those demands

16 Sep 2017 12:13:37
Spot on rg34, Archibald couldn't have squeezed another ounce of aggression out of his team. Some of the physical stuff was actually assault. We better get used to it, we are everybody's cup final whereas they get their tummies tickled across the city

16 Sep 2017 00:37:15
question - where is Rossiter, Hodson, Hardie, Nemane, Barjonas, Thompson i could go on and on.
All would put in better shifts than some impostors in the squad tonight, either that or the players don't LIKE PEDRO AND HIS BULLFIGHTERS, they had plenty chances but just like the bread mans squad, theycant win games or score goals to save themselves, Eds please post this, it is an honest account of what i think but recent posts never got shown for some reason.

16 Sep 2017 07:20:58
Mate I've said it a few times PC and his team are here till xmas and games like last night will only cement that. Our boards are not real football men if you know what I mean.

16 Sep 2017 12:15:06
Same again good for 1st half hour then poor too many foreign penna better suited for tele tubbies

16 Sep 2017 12:18:03
Fod, could you please tell us what you would do to improve things and how you think it can be done, financially as well as on the football side. Your constant moaning is doing my head in. Everything you say is negative.
