Use our rumours form to send us rangers transfer rumours.

Now fellow rangers fans and interested parties, I posted several weeks ago about redundancies at Ibrox!

I can confirm there is still redundancies active at the club, and many more people will be paid off if this ridiculous spending spree continues!

The reasons given to the employees was cutting "operating costs" that the club no longer operates in the premier league and there was no European Money going into the club!

As stated previously vast bonuses and wage rises where awarded to senior management and directors, at at time of so called cost cutting? This also doesn't explain the employment of 8 players and 3 staff members during this process? How can the club JUSTIFY this disgraceful behaviour.

Now I am not an employment expert but but this does not make sense saying cuts are required but spending wildly and giving extortionate bonuses during the consultation process? Any employment advisers out there might be able to advise.

So to sum up rangers are spending fortunes at the moment and ok they are not paying transfer fees but wages will be significant, there is still no transparency on how much leaves the club on a DAILY basis on CONSULTANTS, SUB CONTRACTORS AND EXTERNAL PR COMPANIES, the amounts must be mind boggling but never mind pay of the loyal staff who have done nothing wrong except be loyal and hard working!

Yes people will say cuts need to be made and yes I agree in principle, but please start at the top of the tree and get rid of these money grabbers, and senior and middle management who are costing this great club fortunes!

The crack are appearing!

Op, as understand the employment laws a person can be made redundant so long astheir job and its duties are not filled within 6 months but I stand tobe corrected, BT

Therealranger I can't disagree with you on directors or boardmembers getting stupid bonuses but if you read my posts down the page about our squad & have a think about what I have posted then you might think different about the squad, do you want 2 watch pure pish for 3 seasons then have 2 spend fortunes bringing in good players when we get 2 the spfl
I would rather have the foundations of a good squad just now so we are ready, I will say again it is not about this season, see the bigger picture of what superally is trying to do, if the team ****s up then a lot of people will get their wish superally will be out the door but call me a fool but I won't write superally off just now as I say he baffles me at times but that's football

Where is the cash gone? Where are the deeds to Ibrox, Murray park and the Albion car park also we can now include edminston house as the club purchased that from SDM.

Why won't the club show these deeds! Are they scared that the ownership is in doubt! That the fans will at last see the truth!

It is pretty straightforward show the deeds ( not like Stockbridge showing the covers) this can be done quite easily to the various fans groups or the media! As you will know if they tried to show fake details then they would be in real trouble, and I think the shareholders and probably other interested parties would be very concerned.

The next big issue is where has the £22M gone?

Stockbridge and his "snapshot" of the IPO cash is a complete disgrace how can a so called financial director try and fool a vast support by showing a list like that! We need a complete breakdown of where the cash has gone, and I will say it again how much has the club spent on consultants, sub contract companies and external PR companies?

When will the board look at the conduct of the financial director, chief executive and senior management at the club and show transparency.

When will the club show how much money is left, how much is due to the club, and more importantly what is available to spend before it runs out!

The crack are appearing!

I have been reading posts for ages now about how superally doesn't need all these new signings 2 win the league & you's are most probably correct but 2 all these people I am going 2 let you's into a wee secret he needs all these new signings 2 win the league next year because it will be harder next year, he needs these players playing together getting 2 know each others game then the start of next season he can have his squad even more fine tuned getting rid off players who won't cut it & there is a few. Now I am not saying superally is the special 1 & quite frankly some of his decisions last seasons ****in baffled me but then not as much as the players did. I watched the game today & the difference in fitness levels from this year 2 last year where astonishing no players getting bullied from part timers no disrespect but it's the way it should be that's why he brought in jim henry that's his forte getting players into peak condition. Now 4 or 5 players are still 2 play this season who are good players so let's start signing from the same hymn sheet & get behind the team, we know it's not going 2 be a bed of roses all the time but start looking at the bigger picture it's not about this season, hands up who thinks we won't win the title this year exactly it's winning it next year & getting back 2 the top table with decent players in our team because when we go back if we don't have a settled team we will struggle that's why superally is trying 2 build a squad just now & not the pre season before we go back into the spfl or whatever it's called anyway you's may think I am talking s**** but I have read the s*** you's have talked for long enough but that's banter for you cheers

Just wondering op with ally talking about getting 10 million to spend in January will he not be buying a new team for next season. If so and he buys a lot of players between jan and next season why would u need so many players? James

Agree0 Disagree0

18 Aug 2013 00:54:05
Don't know if you seen that interview james for his 10mill that cg said he was getting but let's use the words pinch of salt, now I know you have read my post but maybe read it again, he won't need 2 buy or bring in much more free transfers because he will have a decent squad already at his disposal & that my mara china cherry is the plan. RANGERS need 2 be ready for next season & if people can't see that then they are more deluded than captain kirk down the page
Andhol bears

Agree0 Disagree0

We'll never spend 10 million on players in one window in the foreseeable future. Celtic are sitting on big cash and have sold 20 mill of players. And they are shopping at the 2 million quid store for a player or 2. Won't happen and ally is having a pop at green when he mentions it. because it was a green fabrication, a green press quote. Or as we all know it, Bs!

Agree0 Disagree0

Andhol I had no interest in replying to your nonsense but after the inane Captain Kirk reference you left the door open, almost an invite, so what the hell.

First off, M. I. B was a popular culture reference, you make the comparison between something in real life by comparing it to someone we will either recognise or understand.

I could just as easily have picked a Pyrrhic victory where Pyrrhus won a battle but at great cost. "One more victory like that will utterly undo me. " I could have made comparison to Hans Christian Andersen's The Emperor's New Clothes. But I chose M. I. B, there you go.

Now to your nonsense. You claim to be looking at the bigger picture yet by endorsing these signings fail to appreciate that expenditure is much higher than income, that isn't bigger picture thinking.

Speculate to accumulate, fine sound byte I remember RBS, David Murray and Leeds trying that, how did that work out again? Do you think at a massive expenditure overload institutional investors (who make up a sizeable chunk of your IPO) want the word speculate anywhere near Ibrox? They want steady, reliable progress and ideally don't want their investment sucked dry by admin 2.

As for your heartwarming thoughts towards those who do lose jobs, do you think some office staff lay off will be consoled by the thoughts "Oh well I'm laid off but at least Ally and the boys can win 6-0 now v Ayr rather than 2-0. " Behave yourself Andhol.

You say you have more faith in Mather than any other s****hawk in recent times. Was that always the case? Were you partial to Murray, Whyte or Green in their day too?

And now to your most disgraceful comment of all. "The persons that gave up their season tickets are glory hunting ****s. " How I'd love to be there as you say that to their faces. (Which would never happen in a million years. )

You could tell in his post that every fibre of Baybear was conflicted by his decision he doesn't need a no mark like you insulting him at the end of it.

You are quite possibly the poorest excuse for a Rangers fan I've seen in my entire life. Blinkered, delusional, no grasp of economics whatsoever and worst of all someone who can't respect the opinions of fellow Bears when it disagrees with your own and then to add insult to injury you say "so let's start singing from the same hymn sheet. " Laughable.

Has the proposed EGM been agreed and if so any date yet?

I thought once proof of 29. 9% was proven for demand then it had to be arranged. The papers were quoting that the Murray, Blin, McColl have 40% plus. If that is the case then when will EGM be?

Gaz your looking for a bite, fishing I think you've referred to it as, we won today that'll do me. This page is referred to as a discussion page on all aspects of rangers, your quotes refer to people's opinions nothing else PB

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I dare say I was PB :)

I have no problem with "I thought we were strong down the right today" or "so and so read the game well. " etc Look at past posts PB I rarely if at all get involved in playing stuff per se. You want to talk at length about who is your best left sided player, fine, I respect that is something for you guys alone.

But every single one of the quotes I gave lacked any degree of perspective. The scorelines is just nonsense, the Celtic "jamminess" eh? Result cherry-picking and so on and so forth. A simple enough "thought we commanded the game throughout, good effort, more of the same stuff" fine, just don't go spouting p*** that can be shown as nonsense in 2 minutes. I respect things that don't air-brush history or make a mockery of fact, merely giving you my opinion on their opinion.

Anyone know what a Neuralyzer is? It's the memory eraser Will Smith's character uses in the Men In Black movies. I thought it was pure sci-fi till today, it seems there is another Neuralyzer in our midst, a good old fashioned 3-0 away win for Rangers.

On this page so far today:

"We would never have won 3-0 away last season. "
You had two 6-2's and a 4-1.

"Rangers played 2 won 2. "
It's actually played 4 won 3. The bigger picture still says that till the Scottish Cup begins that loss will be probably your most important game of the season and is a big revenue loser but why mention that eh?

"We don't need a penalty and an own goal like the team from the east. "
You got a penalty last week! You've yet to play a league game where the oppostion walk off the park with 11 men.

"55 and counting. "
Even Ally says 54, enough said.

"Love all these accountants back on our site again. "
The figures from others and most definitely my figures are there to be questioned. 32 hours after my post yesterday, not one reply!

Does a 3-0 away win at mighty Stranraer really cause such air-brushing of the mind, cover all the garbage, show it all in a much rosier light? Jeez Murray, Whyte and Green must adore you lot. You are literally that easy to appease.

I wonder if in the next M. I. B film they will call their Neuralyzer "3-0 away at Stranraer. " It is far more impressive than theirs.

Gaz

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Gaz, there is not one reply because nobody gives a damn about anything you say on here. You are a bore who spouts the same garbage week after week. A few weeks ago you disappeared for a while and it was bliss. We have read all you have to say time after time and frankly you should go and ramble on to people who care what you have to say.

Agree0 Disagree0

If a defender brings down a striker 8 yards out heading for goal then it's a penalty and a red card. If a player on a yellow card then kicks an opponent who has passed him then its another yellow resulting in a red. Don't see your point there on both occasions the ref applied the rules of the game.

Well f**k me traynor you have found a voice at last!

Just a couple of questions that you might want to answer, after all the rangers website is now going to deliver the facts!

The deeds have NEVER been shown since the sale of the club to Chico and his crew. can you supply an accurate answer and furthermore actually show the deeds!

If you have now decided to show your undying love of the management and club then why have you not answered the most important questions of all, where has the £22M gone.

And finally will the club show the fans how much has been spent on consultants, sub contract companies and PR consultants including media house and active corporate?

This would be the right thing to do instead of threatening people with lawyers ( How much has been spent on lawyers?)

Since you are obviously looking and monitoring this and other sites give us the truth! And make these details public.

The fans are on to you and the rest of the " great stadium robbers"

The cracks are appearing!

@1) There are a number of Rangers fans on here who have commended me I'll leave it at that.

@Andhol all debating welcomed. I mentioned One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest yesterday. :) Amazing how you all read my "b*******" but never take the time to correct it or "educate me". Weird that.

Gaz

Agree0 Disagree0

@2) Where did I say they weren't merited? By the same token wasn't it a penalty today for Celtic? Very short memory that guy, you get red cards their merited, we get a pen, we're lucky, no hope for people with that attitude, on both sides!

Gaz

Agree0 Disagree0

@1) Don't get me wrong here. I don't grudge you the victory. In fact perversely I want you to win every league game this season. And the reason is twofold.

1) It will show just how insane an overspend assembling this squad was.

2) Every win gets Mather, Stockbridge, McCoist and whomever else three points closer to their next big bonus and another million pound or so out of the pot. It would be deliciously ironic if those bonuses are what leads to admin 2 wouldn't it?

RANGERS Football Club is aware of wildly inaccurate stories circulating on various websites and would like fans to know that these flights of fantasy will be monitored by our lawyers.

In particular, they are examining a malicious piece which seems to suggest that the Club does not own its facilities.
We urge Rangers fans to treat these personic and lumbering articles with the contempt they deserve. Better still, ignore them completely.
But we must also stress we cannot waste time responding publicly to every blog or ridiculous claim against this Club. Also, there is a dangerous proliferation of anonymous obsessives on various social media sites and we will not give them any credence.
Nor can we react to every journalist and publication who appear to pursue an anti-Rangers agenda, publications such as the Daily Record which today boasts yet another headline which does not accurately reflect what manager Ally McCoist said in his press conference yesterday.
This paper's intent is clear and we urge our fans to see it for what it is. If Rangers fans want the truth they will find it only on the Club's official platforms.
Finally, Jack Irvine of Media House does not speak for this Club.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

The truth on the clubs official website aye right jabba pull the other one mm

Agree0 Disagree0

I saw this earlier and was sure someone would re-post it. The first thing that struck me was that pathetic photo of the deeds where a cover was shown, any concerns anyone had would have been alleviated had they showed the contents. Any cheap point scoring non Rangers fan would have had to say fair enough but nope, the cover, that was it. It provoked more questions than it answered.

But that isn't even my main point here. The main point is it was in the Sunday Mail, the Daily Record's sister paper, oh irony of ironies.

Gaz

Agree0 Disagree0

All well and good Mr Traynor but some points need addressed.
No one expects you to answer every blog or ridiculous claim or give them any credence. But the rumours about the owning of the assets can be easily dispelled. Why do you not just show the deeds to the assets on the club's official platform? These would of course have to be be the actual deeds as, I am sure your aware, to show false copies would lead to court action from every decent shareholder who has genuine concerns about the health of the club. Do this and everyone can stop worrying and move on. Finally, why mention Jack Irvine? Was he a man of integrity when he handled the clubs PR? If so you should have no worries. If not why were his company in charge of PR in the first place? Seems to me you may have heard of a story about to break and seem to be getting your quotes in first. As we know Mr Irvine now works for the Easdale brothers. What do they know, Mr Traynor, that has brought you to the surface?

Agree0 Disagree0

Has anyone got Bomber Browns number. Wanted to speak with him on this issue or has he became a paid up member of the spiv club.

Agree0 Disagree0

@3 agreed but surely they could also have presented the title deeds at the Q&A session for the fans the other week

Agree0 Disagree0

"This paper's intent is clear"

Yes, to help get rid of the spivs from Ibrox. Hopefully they continue to leak information that exposes Green, Ahmad & co for what they are.

I've never been much of a Daily Record fan but it has certainly improved since Jabba departed.

Agree0 Disagree0

Very interesting preemtive strike from the Jabba PR dept. Looks like a huge story is about to break. It's not rocket science, PDF the deeds and let them be available to everyone along with the overdue audited accounts. Unless of course, there is something to hide?

Radallosh

Agree0 Disagree0

If I were in charge at Rangers I would disclose information that some fans appear to be concerned about i. e. property deeds and detailed written conformation of the £22m etc
Apart from anything else it would make certain doubters look very stupid, if everything is above board (and I'm sure that's the case) and sure that certain contributors would be only too happy to concede the error of their doubts.

Football is mearly a sideshow now.
Unless we dispose of the shysters
cutting up our club we are doomed. I
krave the day when I can just watch
young Rangers players develop and
ordinary supporters can just support.
Up until then no amount of 3-0's will
gloss over the fact that we are not the
Rangers that we once were.
Everyone who is happy to ignore this
effectively endorses this lying regime.
Not doom and gloom just a message.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Thank f###, Baybear this site has become worse than just doom and gloom there are certain species posting to tickle the chins of the gullible.
I will point out one thing and then shut up. The issue of title deeds does not matter in the big scheme of things. If the properties are owned, then it will reflect in the asset value and, as such, will reflect in the share value of where they are held. If not the useage will be shown as an outlay and to all the would be accountants, do your effin homework.

Ok, I am surely in a minority on this page, but I wish to make a positive statement. Rangers fc, played 2, won 2 scored 7 and let in 1. It is now over to the 'doom and gloomers'.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

That's cost £3m per goal so far. Well done Ally still within budget McCoist.

Agree0 Disagree0

It is div 2 though and you have conviently missed the league cup game as well

Agree0 Disagree0

No wait till we meet a better team then ally will be found out again.

Agree0 Disagree0

Some people are just more comfortable with pointing out the elephant in the room rather than pretending it isn't there. No amount of 3-0 wins at Stranrar can make me ignore the bigger picture.
Our badge, our colours, our stadium our songs, our players, our legends, our history, our titles. All this has been used to suck us in over the last 2 years. All that is familiar to us, that we trust is nothing more than a disguise to keep us thinking it's all fine. Forgive me for being unable to ignore this in favour of getting excited about beating Brechin and Stranrar with players that may very well not end up ours.
Basically mate we are the support equivelent of a bairn being groomed by a nonce. I can't ignore that and I'd like to think you can't either

Kind regards

Chief Gloommonger

Agree0 Disagree0

Brilliant, a remarkable start, as you say two from two, the quadruple must still be on then eh?

Oh wait!

Gaz

Agree0 Disagree0

No one is asking you to get excited about our league games- I will only mention the league games as they are the stats that count, nothing convenient about it, cup stats do not appear on any league table. I always say that the main problem is in the background, that people should be able to see that instead of moaning about the performances etc. My point is when the footballing side is positive, the neer do wells blame club politics and vice versa.

p. s

In our cup games we have a positive goal difference, so why even mention them- unless you will count the penalies too.

Agree0 Disagree0

I was the original poster. let's be honest, the main problems within the club are those happening behind closed doors. that's where the focus of the moaning and ill feeling should be generated. The football side of things will take care of itself. There will always be the snidey remarks from opposing fans- why they spend their time on other clubs' forums, I will never know.

The point being that there will always be moaning even if we win comfortably. It is only a start, but it is has been reasonabe, and hopefully the team will push on and play far better football than they did last season. No one is getting carried away though.

Agree0 Disagree0

Time to tell the truth. The so called "Fans" of Rangers at Stair Park today throwing flares on to the pitch are:

personic
Brainless
Neanderthal
Unwelcome
Knuckle Draggers

They do not represent the traditions of Rangers Football Club, they are drunken louts who no one wants at RFC. A disgrace to themselves and drag the club down to there illiterate level of poison handed down no doubt, through "tradition" within their families.

Your Unwelcome, Unwanted - but more importantly, UNDERSTAND!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Great post there op, sometimes the truth hurts mate. BT

Agree0 Disagree0

I think this is part of the reason we are such a divided support. I really feel decent supporters feel it's difficult to call out these Id10ts as we don't think the club will back us. I'm not blind or deaf but on many occasions club officials play it dumb or play this behaviour down. Maybe they fear alienating this element as they feel they are the most dedicated supporters. I firmly believe if the club took a proper stand against some of the neddy element there would be more decent fans to take their place. I don't know, maybe they quite like the "traditions" that these pr1ck5 hold so dear.

Agree0 Disagree0

What does personic mean? I've only ever seen it used on this site.

Agree0 Disagree0

@3 sometimes ed has to substitute some words for others

Agree0 Disagree0

Whilst not wanting to condone the use
of flares at our matches its not as bad
as. in other countries were it seems to
be accepted and come on to say its part
of some" traditions " come on how many times through the years have you seen it
happen at Rangers matches
billy h

Agree0 Disagree0

Cheers baybear but is it a word?

Agree0 Disagree0

Billy H,

Two points:

The traditions I refer to are that of " no one likes us, we don't care" that does NOT mean disrupting football matches because certain fans think the world is against Rangers, and believe they are smart a**ses, and above the law is ok.

Point two. You say the use of flares is not as bad as elsewhere. By your own logic then, we should turn a blind eye to Glasgows crime rate because its not as bad as Londons?. Wrong is Wrong. throwing flares at a public event whilst supposedly representing Rangers Football Club is WRONG.

Get rid of these Neanderthal knuckle Draggers - no place at RFC.

Agree0 Disagree0

Wasn't really referring to the flares as traditional Billy. More a case of suggesting the flare throwers are the same folk that hold on to the more unsavory parts of our history and think that's what it is to be Rangers. I'm sure there are many who don't put any thought into what they say or do or sing, and many who don't have a clue what their even singing about. Someone who is prepared to throw flares despite being asked by the club not to either doesn't have any respect for representing our club, or they have no fear that the club will do anything about it. Either way, their behaviour gives others with an agenda the opportunity to highlight our failings. We have enough going on right now without these moronic tw@ts drawing more unwanted attention our way.

Agree0 Disagree0

Also Billy, I agree it's maybe not as bad as at other clubs/countries but I doubt that would cut it if some kid or ballboy gets their face melted because of some p155ed up ned fan#ying around with a flare.

Agree0 Disagree0

ED. bit confused. My earlier post had the word " personic" inserted. I thot I made a Typo. Recent post about Rangers not owning assets has same word in it?. trouble is, I never typed it as it is NOT in the Oxford English Dictionary. Coincidence? {Ed001's Note - no mate, it is the swear filter, it alters certain words automatically to read as person.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Person gets swapped for a word with two I's a D, an O and a T. (Not exactly in that order).

I should know I've tried to post it enough times :)

It losses impact however when person becomes personic, let's face it Ed it's personic when it does that. :)

Gaz {Ed001's Note - there are loads of words it alters, some highly offensive, others less so. It is done on purpose, so no one can be sure what the word is.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Baybear

Totally agree. Try telling a civil law suit lawyer that RFC should not be prosecuted because "they have more flares in Italy - and the Ned at stair park only threw one"

It's Wrong. CFC are threatening the Green Brigade for their behaviour. it's time people at Ibrox grew " a pair" and " cleansed" our Club of ALL the Sh*t once for all.

Agree0 Disagree0

I know it does Ed but it's when it ends in IC it loses it, I mean how often does someone in here call John Brown barbaric? :)

Gaz {Ed001's Note - you are making no sense.}

Rangers boss Ally McCoist has vowed to continue strengthening his Ibrox squad until he's told there's no money left to spend.

Isn't this the most deluded and pathetic statement you will ever read?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

What is he talking about. Have we learned no lessons? WW

Agree0 Disagree0

Also expect some of the bigger names to leave in the last few days of the transfer window. Wallace, Shiels and Templeton will be gone come Sept 1st

Agree0 Disagree0

If we ever needed proof this guy is a deluded person we saw it today in this statement. he is part of the rotten core that is scamming and killing our club. he literally is saying I will turn a blind eye to all the S***E as long as they keep funding my attempt to buy success as I have NO ABILITY at coaching or management, theory being Premiership players in 2nd div with a DONKEY (we have one) in dugout will win league. george

Agree0 Disagree0

McCoist is the immediate problem he will finish Rangers, f**k Green and co what can we do anyway the STs are bought? but we do need to stop this person ripping our club to keep his job, all these new signings are ridiculous for a club in our supposed position. We can ill afford Mccoists wages let alone the wages of the squad he needs to keep his job, it looks increasingly like we go back into administration and McCoist must be held accountable for his part in it, that's probably the real reason Walter Smith left the club like last time but Ally doesn't do walking away from £1million a year so he must be pushed. As a player Ally was a legend but he should never taken this job he knows he isn't up to it hence the signings, what happened to "I'll walk if its best for Rangers" he is here for the money, shed loads of our money that we paid to Rangers. don't waste your loyalty on him he has none for us. Green and co may be taking loads of money too but they put it in when we needed it, they are investors! McCoist on the other hand put in zero and remains a £1million a year millstone and the clubs neck, that's over 3000 STs sold just to pay him, nearly 10% of total ST sales to play 1 up front at home, come on ffs this is beyond a joke HE is beyond a joke GET HIM OUT NOW!

Agree0 Disagree0

So now we are blaming mccoist for rangers being penniless completely overlooking the board members voting for big unwarranted bonuses and statements of so many millions being spent on infrastucture when not apenny has been spent on ibrox and claiming money spent on repairing roof at mp when it was an insurance claim soits good to see the big searching questions are being asked by the laptop loyal.

Agree0 Disagree0

Personally I don't think we need more players unless its because a few of the higher earners are away at end of month. But to blame ally for the supposed financial problems at the club is laughable. He is the first team coach. The word manager is a bit misleading in football terms. If the club is losing money at every turn then the money men at the club are to blame. If we can't afford the signing on fees and wages then there is a simple word. NO. Do you all think ally is in charge of thebank account? He picks the team and rumour has it he runs some kind of training between matches. Use your heads people.

Agree0 Disagree0

This was a headline not a statement. Ally said he will spend as long as he is told he can. If he is told he can't because there are no more funds he will stop. Just like every other manager. Some of you lot really are pathetic lol.

Agree0 Disagree0

He's not just a first team coach he is a poor first team coach MORE IMPORTANTLY HE IS A SHAREHOLDER. Which at any level he is as culpable as the Green and Co (ie larger shsreholders)

Agree0 Disagree0

@5 the board are INVESTORS they put money in to take more out, what has precious Ally put in? except our club in the s**t.

Agree0 Disagree0

@8 directors are culpable not shareholders

Agree0 Disagree0

@10 whilst you are correct. The shareholders ally included can make change but so far zilch do my book shareholder/poor manager sitting on his hands big ass and wallet whist watching his 1p shares increase in size. Oh forgot these were for his young children.

We are a total shambles from top to bottom, our board are a joke, we've got no accounts, all our merchandising has been out sourced, no one knows who owns what or why, we are apparently hemorrhaging money while we are trying to bring in 3 more players making 11! surely this will only end one way with Rangers going back into administration. Why won't anyone tell us the truth? if we are skint don't sign these players, but if we are not skint why is everyone saying we are? everything they say and do seems to contradict everything else they say and do, this is their chance to prove they have Rangers best interests at heart and that they understands our concerns like they claims to, a little bit of honesty here would go a long way in gaining the trust of the fans.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Malcolm Murray stood down from being CHAIRMAN! Saying he did not want another div3 title, and wanted transparency.

Smith then stood down. saying 10-20 years damage done, to the 140 yeral old club.

Transparancy, truth, clarity is gone. its boom and bust, bust, bust. from here on in.

Agree0 Disagree0

This is a classic ploy by companies who know they are going to go bust. They buy in loads of stock with the intention of never paying for it. In this case it's players. So when admin 2 strikes, they can say to all these players that if they are "true Rangers men" they will play for the jersey on reduced wages. This will then give them an excuse to have a clear out of the earners they don't want. As for McCoist, no sign of him losing his over inflated pay.

Radallosh

Agree0 Disagree0

We to need real rangers men in now.

Agree0 Disagree0

@3 explain real rangers men? We have got this rediculous saying "rangers men" and what is ally or walterr? Or is this what we call shysters associated with the old rangers FC?

Agree0 Disagree0

@4 real rangers men who have rangers at thier hearst, malcolm murray and smith both real rangers long term fans, and push out by false allegations, videos and boardroom gossip

sadly bloggers like murdo believe false rumours are true and want green who is no real rangers man, not put in more than £25k and don't hear about him paying leccie bills etc etc etc

Agree0 Disagree0

@1 So why are we sticking by McCoist surely those are the attributes he brings to the party because god knows he brings nothing else. We have been shafted by real Rangers men time and again, the time has come for us to act, actually we should of done something 12 months ago but if we do nothing now we could lose Rangers.

A Tale of Two Clubs. Hearts The Foundation of Hearts has won preferred bidder status through united and substantial financial support of their club. Their manager has been left with a team of youngsters but their football is exciting and the early signs are good- they are living within their means (the transfer ban helps that)
Rangers the fans did not win preferred bidder status and a shower of city slickers own and run the club-badly. The manager who divides opinion in the fans on forums but not in the ground wants to secure more signings in spite of rapidly diminishing cash in the bank. What set of supporters will be happiest at the end of the season? Will one or both reach the season end? Which set of supporters have done most to actually support their club?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

One set of supporters stand a chance of saving their club; another waited on a phantom billionaire and ultimately lost their club when it was liquidated on 12. 06. 2012

Agree0 Disagree0

Can't really compare the situations though when Rangers went into administration there was the potential liability of the tax case. This in effect ruled out a CVA getting agreed. This potential amount also stopped any sort of fan involvement in a buy out too. Rangers fans have really did all they could supporting the team by the amounts of seasons tickets sold. However I agree that Rangers have went the wrong way with regards to the team. Poor manager who doesn't have the ability to produce a team of young players.

Agree0 Disagree0

@OP: did Rangers fans really try to buy the club?

Agree0 Disagree0

What more could rangers supporters actually have done? The logical answer is absolutely nothing. A CVA was unachievable due to the stance of HMRC. When green took over many backed the share issue and saw the money from it squandered. They have backed the club by filling the ground every second week and have asked questions of the regime in charge to no avail. When people criticise rangers support for lack of action what exactly would they suggest they do?

Agree0 Disagree0

The CVA was unachievelable because Whyte/Green and D&P designed it that - this was plan all along. they new HMRC would not accept 9p in the £1.

We all pay taxes, in our dreams we get to pay 1/10 of them. Rangers tried to achieve this.

Rangers could have sold players, ground and trophies if needed - but did not - because plan was to stuff HRMC and all other creditors, and buy out of liquidation. then IPO and make of with £20+m

so far plan going really well for spivs.

Agree0 Disagree0

@1 obviously u have no idea of what went on during admin. The fans were powerless do to anything due to the big tax case. Wish people would engage their brains before making silly statements

Agree0 Disagree0

@2/4: the tax case had nothing to do with HMRC's stance - the fact that they were already owned millions (the money withheld by Whyte) was more than enough. A refusal of a CVA can't be based on what might be owed.

Agree0 Disagree0

@5 the CVA was in achievable due to the outstanding big tax case. Selling players, trophies and so on wouldn't have made a difference. HMRC thought that they were going to win the case and didn't want to accept such a small amount for a CVA. However they have once again lost out and will get next to nothing while the people who bought Rangers will walk away with a nice tidy profit. Hard to take as they have run the club so badly since taking over

Agree0 Disagree0

5) I suppose you'll be yelling for whoever takes over hearts to pay all their creditors and not just £3.5 million of a reported £30 million debt? Or is your resentment just for rangers?

Blueice

Agree0 Disagree0

@8 rangers could only offer 9% of thier debts. even taking out hrmc that's still nowhere near acceptible to anyone else.

whyte wanted a debtfree rangers to sell on at profit

Agree0 Disagree0

Blueice - both rangers, hearts, dafc and others have avoid debt. but pointless in long run as europe won't help if you debt free by avoidance.

Agree0 Disagree0

@9: what resentment? Isn't Hearts biggest creditor the Lithuanian bank, rather than HMRC - bit of a difference. Is #5 wrong in it's assessment of Green etc. not wanting a CVA?

Agree0 Disagree0

Green caught on tape saying cva offer would be insufficent and IPO could then follow.

Agree0 Disagree0

12) ok so you won't be using Starbucks, google, tesco, amazon the nhs just to name a few who have avoided more tax than rangers or is that different?

Blueice

Agree0 Disagree0

Love all these accountants back on our site again. Are you the same lot that said we would 100% guarnatee loose the Big Tax Case. Keep up the GibberJabber fools.

Agree0 Disagree0

17 Aug 2013 18:22:33
@14: it is different as none of those companies withheld tax. It's not right that they avoid it but it's not illegal - the system that allows them to is stupid and needs to be sorted. However, Rangers didn't avoid corporation tax on profits but withheld payments to HMRC - none of the companies you listed did that as they all paid their PAYE contributions etc.

Agree0 Disagree0

15) the funny thing is that hmrc workers were found to have a scam where they avoided paying their full tax and all the time perusing others for doing the same. Only in Britain.

Blueice

Agree0 Disagree0

@15) I've got a thread a bit further down the page from midday Friday about your finances, feel free to rip it apart if it's inaccurate, after all, I'm only a mere "gibberjabber fool" it should be easy. Come on big brain, give it your best go.

@19: but he was in charge of everything so the company/club has to take the hit. No-one at the club questioned or tried to stop him either. If shareholders, board members etc. can receive bonuses and dividends if successful decisions are made by those in control, then there will also be a negative effect of terrible ones.

How can an outfit, that at the time of their IPO were in th 4th Tier, blow the "22 million" cash raised already? in a little over 7 months? WTF? that's the amount of cash Celtic made from their CL run last year, and they have not burned it and are playing in a higher league and Europe. What is going on?

Ally going to keep spending as his logic says the clubs in great shape if he can keep spending. Legendary.
Says hasn't talked to Mather's this week so doesn't know latest goings on. What happened to talking to him every day several times? (On phone?).

I think the fact that he has to undergo knee surgery already tells you why. Sure Aberdeen fans wish we had signed him up to our pension plan too.
