And it hasn't been announced? Wonder why but i'm not complaining

I know this is OUR page but just wanted to mention the funny grumbles that I've been hearing from the dark side, seems there no too happy with their Teams expenditure. And this is the thing that albeit the phase our Club went through were we really were struggling financially and when King etc then came in and we were told that financially King and tge Board had secured funds that would be spent so that our Club could compete. It seemed Warbs had been given X amount and then King lost faith resulting in funds being stopped which at the time was taken to mean that King did not have the money and loans, freebies and any transfers were going to be between £200k to £500k Max!
Now that Warbs is gone and King seems to have faith in Ped our combined outlay of recent transfers stand at £8-9m.
Thing is IF our Club had been fortunate enough to generate income with the only, Club to challenge no where to be seen I can guarantee you that WE WOULD give our Support something to shout about with transfers fitting our financial status. Where as the tic just love hugging that biscuit tin.
No doubt they will bring in a player at X million but you can just tell they DON'T want too.
If we had the backing of the SFA and found ourselves in the position to generate the funds that manky mob in the East have done then talks of players like Nani arriving WOULD have substance.
With the right Manager and with a decent amount spent on Quality Players the League is a possibility. Always thought the talk of us having to invest £20m to have a chance of winning the Title was really OTT! Our squad had really lost touch with our Manager and THE biggest factor in our challenge for the Lge will be the faith our Players have in Pedro and he must have them wanting to play for him that in my opinion was a huge factor in the tics performances.

Announced tomoz

17 Jun 2017 20:07:44
Morelos has changed his twitter bio to say he's a player with Rangers FC. aswell as his Intagram account.

17 Jun 2017 20:26:41
Also pics of him training as well

17 Jun 2017 20:46:50
He was training with team today I've put pic up in sightings.

John Hartson believes Pedro should have gone for quality over quantity in his bid to rebuild Rangers. He believes we should have spent £10 million on three quality players. Pedro should be congratulated for casting his net wide. We are bringing in a higher caliber of player and attempting to ship out the dross that MW signed. It may not happen overnight and pretty sure we will have our hiccups along the way but rather than give credit they print negative articles. Celtic are still better but not invincible so let's see if the gap has closed when the season starts.

17 Jun 2017 16:36:46
How do you know they are still better, we haven't seen the team play yet?

17 Jun 2017 17:09:38
Neither has fat man harts on though, we need to give them time before praising or knocking them. What I will say is they seem better quality of player but for me it's whether they settle or not. If Morelos keeps that goalscoring record up he could be our dembele.

17 Jun 2017 18:14:12
Right, Hartson, you buy three quality players and stick them in with those mingers we currently employ? You don't think they'd notice after a game or two what they're playing alongside and what calibre of numptie they're expected to carry every week? And that's a plan, is it?

17 Jun 2017 19:08:45
guy doesn't have a clue ignore him lol says this about us then moves on saying how good Hayes is a good signing for them personally if i was a celtic fan i would be expecting a champions league type of player not Hayes especially when there meant to have funny money

17 Jun 2017 19:12:14
Jo Dodoo will be our Dembelle, play the boy and he will score a barrowload.

17 Jun 2017 19:22:12
Who cares what guys like Hartson think?! Why bother? Guy is entitled to his opinion like everyone else, doesn't make him right, doesn't make me interested just ignore them guys. Even if you think they have an agenda, treat their opinions with the distain it deserves. Ignore!

17 Jun 2017 20:59:52
Fd, I think its more likely that Morelos will be our 'Dembele'. Bought for 1m but if he bangs the goals in I could see that at least multiplied by 5.

17 Jun 2017 21:31:27
Hartson also said signing £1million players basically was not going to be good enough it's a gamble but then goes on to say Jonny Hayes who went for similar amount is a fantastic signing great player what a joke so biased it's unbelievable.

17 Jun 2017 21:48:17
We all know harston has had a bee in his bonnit since we knocked him back due to that medical. He said then he felt as though he was treated like a dog and years later he said it time and time again on record to all the rags. As he stands in regards to impartial football punditry is as obvious as it is blatant.

18 Jun 2017 00:20:07
my aunts brother in law worked with stuart hillis in the royal and said hartson never got signed because his medical was that strict he said something like this is a bit much am not crippled and David Murray took offence and blocked it
dint know if its true so don't slaughter me

17 Jun 2017 13:34:36
Looking forward to watching Portugal v Mexico tomorrow see how Alves plays and also get an idea of the standard of Mexican football it's been a long time since I've watched a rangers player at a major international tournament. 🌮🌮🌮

17 Jun 2017 16:51:24
I think with Portugal being ranked 8 and Mexico 17th in the world tells your everything you need to know.

17 Jun 2017 19:15:26
Are any of our Mexican signings in the Mexico team?

17 Jun 2017 20:10:09
Don't think either Pena or Herrera have played for Mexico for a year or maybe more.

17 Jun 2017 23:37:00
I can tell you that Mexican player strengths are through team play, hard graft and positioning as a unit. They press the ball hard and are aggressive in the tackle. Not many of their players are overly flashy and out for personal glory on the field, even their more talented players understand the concept of playing for your team and sacrificing everything for the common goal.

I fully expect you will see this type of performance from Mexico and anyone unfamiliar with their players may be in for a surprise at their quality, and goes to show it is no embarrassment not to make it into that Mexico squad.

17 Jun 2017 13:05:33
It's going to exciting watching Morelos in Scotland, really looking forward to that one.
Also I know a lot of people are wondering we're the Mexicans are, I have no fear on that one ☝️.

Yesterday I may have jumped the gun a bit on Dorrans signature- supposedly it was all but done, it was in quite a few different places. And in some places it still is.

But it can't be real, I think it's a bit of a hoax, and the reality is it's still a bit off. And the papers would have been all over it this morning had it been true.

Still think this one will happen but not yet anyway! What I think likely has happened is that we were never going to keep signing players at that rate! Peds got what he needs just now and will add to it as the weeks go by, and get rid too!

17 Jun 2017 15:37:29
you should read the below:

Born in Cereté, Colombia, Morelos lived with his sisters, his parents and his grandmother, but after joining Independiente Medellín, Morelos had to live away from his families. [2] Morelos said in an interview with AS. com that he is a Christian and is married. [38] While in Finland, Morelos said though it was tough to adapt to the country, he revealed his family, however, did not follow his suit, preferring to stay in his home country and that he had to travel to Colombia every week to be with them. [38] Morelos also revealed that it was his father who got him into football, which led him to scoring goals.

If I was you, I would worry that he won't be around too long

17 Jun 2017 16:49:53
Haha. did ye. aye!

17 Jun 2017 21:34:51
Traveled from Finland to Columbia and back every week 😂 No chance 😂

17 Jun 2017 12:20:03
I asked this a few days ago and the answers I got were as clear as mud lol. What's the hold up with Pena and Herrera? Do they have work permits or not? I know it takes time but according to Morelas instagram account his is done and dusted and he's signed and this is a boy with 0 caps for his country.

17 Jun 2017 12:42:25
I think work permit have been granted
But still need a visa . 🌮🌮

17 Jun 2017 13:34:18
I'd imagine Mexico and Columbia have different ways of doing there visas and may take longer in one country.

17 Jun 2017 14:42:25
Work permits have been granted but still waiting for visas to be processed . a non settlement visa (ie going on holiday takes 24 hrs or so whereas a settlement visa for a normal person takes up to 12 weeks but i'm sure for a footballer it could be less as there is deadlines ect . i have no doubt both mexicans will join just takes time for paperwork .

17 Jun 2017 19:29:04
Bigt75, I believe for the UK it is about 3 weeks for a Tier 2 Sports person to obtain a visa for a length of time eg a full season.

17 Jun 2017 11:37:17
does anyone know when the 2 mexicans will sign.

17 Jun 2017 09:56:21
Rant time. I see Hartson is doing a Sutton by attacking Rangers in the daily rag. They must be worrie but they must also have little to do other than attack the mighty Gers. Also, either pay the fee for Dorrans or forget it and tell Hearts to get stuffed and hold on six months and get him for sweet FA! End of rant. Off to the beach.

17 Jun 2017 13:49:55
Yeah hartson the self proclaimed "tell it how it is" journalist! 😅😅😅 what a joke! Just another example player with a biased green tinted agenda

17 Jun 2017 09:35:54
"We are fighting genetics and a Scottish diet, " says SFA performance director Malky MacKay.

Cheeky bastard! 😁.

17 Jun 2017 15:08:37
He is not exactly slim him self is he 😂

17 Jun 2017 09:14:29
Why is it taking so long to get the Graham Dorrans transfer over the line? Same can now be said for Jamie Walker now

I get the other three guys awaiting work permits but Dorrans and Walker are not!

If Hearts are playing hard ball game just wait another 5 month and we may have our man for free

I'd go on for a final take it or leave it £700k plus add ons Or offer the same with another player going as a makeweight

As for Graham Dorrans just get the 1.3m bid in for him or forget about it and go sign Kevin McDonald for around the same price

17 Jun 2017 09:40:01
Dont want mcdonald

17 Jun 2017 12:13:18
Dorrans will be in place next week. His bags are already packed.

17 Jun 2017 00:38:07
Dorrans only played 20-25 games last season in the championship, he's 30, he'll probably be one of our higher earners, he'll have no sell on value. If he comes, fine I hope he does well. But if he doesn't it really wouldn't be that much of a disaster. Plenty of central midfielders at the club.

17 Jun 2017 06:24:53
He has an injury early in the season

17 Jun 2017 09:30:35
What is the obsession with sell on value these days! all we want is a player to come in and do a job if they do that the sell on takes care of itself.

17 Jun 2017 09:52:19
It's not obsession, it is basic business sense. It will end the same way as last time, otherwise. Are people that blind that they think we can just carry on as before?

17 Jun 2017 14:23:09
We have never had a history of selling on at a profit.
2or 3 players at most in my 58 years watching the club

17 Jun 2017 15:29:25
And look where we ended up!
