mcfadden is a celtic fan and has said he never sign for Rangers

Believable1 Unbelievable4

When and where did he say this?
I'm sick of hearing the same s**t of oh he supports this club so wouldn't play for that club what a joke I'm not even going to go in2 the players that have played for or playn for the rivals of the team the support!

Agree4 Disagree0

Exactly! i think jamie carragher at liverpool is a perfect example. hes a everton fan and still is and look at the passion he shows playing for liverpool {Ed001's Note - he is not an Everton fan still, he WAS an Everton fan, so was Robbie Fowler and Steve MacManaman, but I can assure none of them are still. In fact Fowler's family were so disgusted by the abuse he took off the Everton fans that they converted en masse to Liverpool.}

Would you all stop with the michael owen bs. he was not at ibrox today and he will not be signing for rangers. that also goes for berbatov. some muppet made up the story. the true rangers fans know the clubs situation. bring on 4 in a row!

Papac deal ends interest in Dixon.United wanted too much for him and will sell to a championship side for less.Goodwillie(2m)and Conway(free) still very much on and will be tied up in the week Coisty returns unless they are away on holidays.

If Blackpool go down then they will take Beattie for a nominal fee. If they stay up then he will be returning to Ibrox until a buyer can be found.

Diuof - Returning to Blackburn.
Bartley - won't be decided until the middle of July as Wenger wants to have a serious look at him(thats if Wenger is still there).
Weiss - chance he could force a loan move back but depends on Mancini. Possibilty of him transferring to Rangers but will only happen once Man City sign who they want. If they are serious about the Champions league then I don't think Weiss will be in their plans/ squads. Could pick him up for a few million.
Foster - may sign permanently but depends on how much Aberdeen are willing to accept.
Healy - I personally think he will be released as wages would be better spent elsewhere.

As for Michael Owen & Alan Smith - No thanks not worth the money as they have played their best football and would cost too much on wages.

As for signings then these will be the ones which are shown on Sky Sports and Mr McCoist is standing there shaking their hand saying welcome to the Champions. Then we will know it's 100%.

heard from a friend in ibrox that Ivan Trickovski has beem in talkin with rangers , the 5ft11 striker was at ibrox being shown about the place . (what you think ed) {Ed010's Note - Heard the name banded about but I don't know if there is any truth in the interest. If it is true and he was at Ibrox, it begs the question. who was he speaking to, as Ally and his management team are in the States.

As much as i don't like to say it rangers will not be making a move for djalo of sporting lisbon there are a number of clubs in the english league after him including newcastle, liverpool, everton and is rated £15m. .so instead the gers will make a loan bid for juventus's sebastian giovinco

-Parma have already said that they will use their option to buy Giovinco at the end of his loan. Even if this was not to happen, he has broken into the Italian national team and there would be a lot of clubs willing to offer big money for him.

Ed If Micheal Owen did come to Rangers (Doubtful)
How much would he cost or would he be free or on loan and do you think it could happen {Ed010's Note - Michael Owen's contract is up in the summer and his preferred option is to get a new contract with Man Utd. If that is not an option, I would imagine that there will be several EPL clubs pursuing his signature. If signing for Rangers was an option, he would have to take a substantial pay cut and I just can't see that happening.

I was a big critic after that game as well and a week later i would still agree with your comment but not now, I think he has done amazing since then even the next game against celtic he had them in his back pocket. The game against Dundee Utd when Sir Walter got man of the match I think that was 1 of Davie's best performances in a blue jersey, and I would like for him to keep playing on for another season. {Ed010's Note - Please remember to copy and paste the original post into your reply so that other readers can view what your reply is about. Sorry Ed, I thought that when you clicked reply to this post that it went directly to the same post.

Sorry mate, Btw it's good to see a blue nose Ed :)

{Ed010 - No need to apologise, you are quite correct in your assumption
that "banter" posts are linked to the original post but that only gives me the time and date of that post. In the "rumour" page, this doesn't happen at all. It therefore makes sense for everyone to copy the original post so that all readers can follow the "story"

Thanks also for the welcome.

Ed do you know whos defos comin to gers {Ed010's Note - The real truth of the matter is that I don't think anyone really knows who will be signed by Rangers and that includes Ally McCoist. Ally and his assistants will have identified a few possible targets but he isn't going to go public until any prospective deal is almost concluded, unless other fans know different lol. After what has transpired over the past few years, this will be an exciting transfer window for all Rangers fans.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Ally won't let anyone know who's his targets are just incase Celtic get a sniff. We all know what happens when they hear who we are after. Celtic will need to get a scout now cause Ally will only say who we are signing when they have signed.

Owen suppose 2 be at ibrox 2day having talks with martin bain and craig whyte about a pay as you play contract

**** clearly this is nonsense as 1. he was on tv training with United today 2. we couldnt even afford to pay 10% of his current wage and 3 why wpuld we want him, he is injured 9months of every season.

Get serious with some of these rumours, we only have about 5 million not 100 million the way some of you go on*********
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

I think you will find that Rangers will be given an initial £10m for this season as confirmed by Craig Whyte along with any players sold. So if rumours on Sky Sports new are true regarding Man utd and Jelavic and a supposed transfer fee of £13m (personally can't see this) but tht would give £23m plus if we sell Bougherra we'd be looking at about £26m! ! Again i do agree this is doubtful but were defo getting more thn £5m

Ed when is it the transfer window opens? Is it not just players that are out of contract clubs can sign just now or do they have to wait till the window opens to sign them aswell? Cheers {Ed010's Note - In England the transfer window opens the day after the last game of the season until 31 August 2011 and up here it's 01 July 2011 until 31 August 2011.
My understanding is that any player who has already signed a pre-contract agreement still cannot move to his new club until the window opens.

Believable1 Unbelievable0

So we have another 44 days of all these different players supposedly signing for us. We have been linked to about 1689 players already lol {Ed010's Note - That's what makes being a Rangers supporter exciting at this moment in time. We have some cash to splash and rumours and stories will continue to abound.

Okay, keep calm I'm only the messenger. .
I realise the "disagree" buttons are going to be busy but Charlie Adam will not leave Blackpool regardless of relegation or not. He will sign pre-contract with Rangers in January and arrive for free next Summer. 3 year contract large signing on fee, same £26k he's on at Blackpool and a 50% cut of sell on fee. Not happy with the way Blackpool dealt with his transfer request. He will not be made Captain as that is reserved for another BIG name ex player due this Summer, who I can't name or I will get the bullet. Believe it or not, just remember this post come January. .

Believable2 Unbelievable6

Charlie adam a wouldn't have him anywhere near ibrox, i used to be sick of giving him pelters at ibrox, big deal he has had a good first season in the premier league, plus play in the epl or the spl its a no brainer as a pro footballer you want to play at the highest level possible

Agree1 Disagree2

If sir Walter had moved Charlie in 10yards when he eas with us we would have seen a far better player.

Believed to be Michael owen with his uncle and agent. I have to state I personally havnt saw this I was in work at the time but was informed by numerous collegues at different times stating they saw this.

I don't see why he would be pulling up to Ibrox just now. Ally McCoist isn't even in Scotland right now.

"His plan includes bringing in up to eight new signings to bolster the champions' threadbare squad - and retaining as many of his three-in-a-row heroes as possible."

So we can expect to see quite a number of signings . ideas on who the 8 might be :-D ?

{Ed010's Note - Hi Guys, may I ask your indulgence in addressing and remedying a problem that will make our pages even better than what they already are. If like me, you will have read some posts and thought, what subject is that person actually talking about or replying too.

Well that is the problem, which I am humbly asking your help, in sorting out. By addressing this issue, it will benefit those reading the posts and will ensure that more people will have their posts published, as it will become obvious what subject matter, the posted reply is about.

From now on, can I ask that anyone posting a response to a subject previously posted, to copy and paste the original post and then type their reply or response below it

eg. If I had already posted "Lionel Messi is signing for Rangers next week" and you wanted to comment and reply to that rumour, your post should look something like this. . . .

"Lionel Messi is signing for Rangers next week"

You are kidding, everyone knows it's the week after. {Ed010's Note

As a fellow Rangers fan I think we all need to chill out with the thinking that Rangers are going to be signing 8 and 9 new players this season. I think we will sign 5, 6 at the most players this season depending on the extra money we get from selling the like of Bougherra. Also we don't want to do what Celtic did and sign loads of new players and hit next season with a team that don't know how to play together. We have a team just now that is winning if we just enhance the squad size and a couple of quality player we will be on the road to 4 in a row.

I've just got to say i'm extremely looking forward to next season. We have been through the worst of the times at Rangers and we are still champions. I hope we keep most of the title winning team and obviously we will strengthen with a few players. We don't need a load of players maybe 4 or 5 just to back up the starting 11. Naismith really came into his own this season and I was absolutely delighted to see that plus he signed a new 3 year contact extension in January which is great to see. Hopefully Papac signing up is the first of many. Great to be a bear!

In McCoist We Trust.

Is Yannick not valued at around 4million? that would be a chunk of our transfer budget but I guess it depends how many decent players we could get on free transfers.

- -

I heard the Yannick rumour also. £4m is actually not that bad considering his talent and age (he's only 25). Chris Brunt would probably cost double that amount of money so Yannick would seem like the better option.

Rangers haven't had a natural left-winger who can take players on and score goals for years. Rangers are almost certain to sign a left-winger during this transfer window.

Yannick djalo is rated at £15 million by sporting club de portugal so won't b at the gers next year

I put up a potential Rangers squad for next season that I would like to see, and it included both Bartley & Weiss. Whilst I would like to see both back next season, if I had to choose it would be Bartley I would go with as I think he is more dependable and also because I saw him and Wylde battling over the same position in the field and I would rather see Wylde succeed than Weiss (all Scottish clubs have a responsibility to the Scotland team in my opinion

I Think we are jumping the gun a bit fast here .

I don't think we will spend much this summer until this HMRC case is finished .

White says he is conident but not 100 per cent .
Vodafone has just been done by the same thing but got away a bit lighter as they can pay there dept up .

I think the best we may be looking at is Goodwillie and such conway player about the 1m mark or free where we can make profits on a sell value .

All focus will be on renewing contracts again for sell-on value and to keep the strong part of the squad together .

when we talk about guttuso and other big name's its just a joke .

keep it real , keep it blue
