We would be mad to sell Morelos in Jan. Columbia have just qualified for the world cup. If he gets the call and scores or even just plays well on the world stage he will be worth far more, its worth waiting.
My next question is just out of interest and i'm having no goes at anybody, each to thier own and all that, So when people post I don't watch, read or care about any other team apart from Rangers, but on the other hand they may offer an opinion on other teams/ players quality or how good or bad Rangers are, i'm not sure how they can qualify that opinion. To make it clear Rangers are my ONLY team but I do follow football in general. I even watch the other mob on occasion (PSG) hoping they get beat. So is it just chest beating from us or are there supporters out there that only watch Rangers, just wondering.

17 Oct 2017 19:26:41
I watch other games and have watched celtic games especially since half my mates are celtic fans apart from old firms, is that not the fun in it laughing at your mates getting walloped by psg or saying good result against anderlecht just not as good as ours against lyon, i love tierney as a player really cracking prospect but when it comes to it i'm a bear through and through and will back my team as much as my mates back theirs, i wouldn't have it any other way

17 Oct 2017 21:35:19
I watch a lot of different football but do not sit and watch that mob play and couldn’t tell you their starting 11. I’ll fast forward Celtic game on sportscene

17 Oct 2017 22:33:04
Bluedrama, I must admit I fast fwd on sportscence. On another point Steven Thompson seems to enjoy giving us some stick. I seen his last game away at st mirren and he got a great reception from us and acknowledged the Rangers away support, I thought he would we would better at neutralizing the anti Rangers media on the BBC, or has he just got very high standards and expects us to be better, jury is out.

18 Oct 2017 00:49:56
Some of the games on sportscene are better than motd.

18 Oct 2017 00:52:07
How can you hate them that much that you can't even watch a game of there's not even a 10minute highlight on sportsscene that's a little over the top and ridiculous . I watch there games and I know there full squad and talk rangers and Celtic with pals at work on a daily basis. most are Celtic fans tbh but they also know most things about are squad and watch are games that's part of the banter. They are and always have been are biggest competition and you always need to keep one eye on and know as much as possible about your competition.

18 Oct 2017 06:34:42
Deano bear come on. It’s ridiculous I don’t watch their games? And do u really want me to answer why I dislike them? I’ve seen enough if them beating us last couple year and would like to reiterate that I’m just stating my truth on here and try to respect other gers opinions. W. A. T. P 🔴⚪️🔵

18 Oct 2017 06:38:10
I watch football in general, epl, real Madrid, German league etc. I couldn't tell you the last time I watched a selik game (outwith old firm) probably last seasons pumping by Barcelona and that was only because my mate begged me with a crate of bud to watch it in mines. Some laugh so it was.

18 Oct 2017 08:26:40
I wouldn't watch any football on BBC Scotland, I couldn't care about the rest of the spl. I watch a lot of football, Italian, Spanish, French, German on tv and Brazilian and Argentine football on the Internet the thought of watching celtic, hibs, Aberdeen and the likes doesn't even enter my head and for the commentary teams in Scotland they are worse than those clubs. Only rangers exist in Scotlands topflight as far as I'm concerned.

18 Oct 2017 08:50:54
I watch games I've got money on.

18 Oct 2017 09:08:50
I think deano bear was brought up with a few of them. I would never have them in my inner circle.

18 Oct 2017 10:57:03
Like Fod I'll always watch any match I have a wee bet on. If I can get decent odds on Bayern minus a couple of goals tonight I'll watch, if not I'll likely half watch and enjoy seeing a top European team in action.

As for Steven Thompson. I think he's a nice guy, tries to please everyone and not be too controversial, letting Michael Stewart get on with that. He just doesn't fancy PC as a manager which is fair enough.

18 Oct 2017 14:55:10
Yes a lot of my pals are Celtic fans and guys I work with but I'll be watching them tonight and texting my pals weather they get humped or not. I watch a lot of there games because I only watch Scottish football so for that reason I watch any Scottish games that are on tv as it's the league my team plays in so think iv got to keep up to date with all the teams and players including Celtic.

18 Oct 2017 15:55:23
Insredible lol you can't even have a debate about football without bringing your bitterness into it.

19 Oct 2017 01:32:38
2 games against world class opposition that would pump any team, that's all you have to have a dig at us. We on the other hand have a library full of games of u lot getting beat from utter dross. U don't want to watch celtic because ir hurts you too much, that's it.

19 Oct 2017 01:35:45
Watch a lot of European football, Italian, English, Spanish, but never miss the Gers and never sit down to watch the Sellik unless they're playing us or Juve my second favourite team. If their highlights come on I'll take interest though, it's good to suss your rivals out and be able to gauge their qualities/ weaknesses against your own.

17 Oct 2017 16:45:06
Can I express my heartfelt sympathies to Terry Butcher on the loss of his son RIP. Mental health issues are a horrible thing and our forces see things ordinary people can't even imagine it's so sad.

17 Oct 2017 19:54:53
I would also like to offer my heart felt condolences to big Terry and his family and Christopher's friends and Army colleges at this sad time. It's time the government took PTSD and it's horrific effects in our Service men and women seriously and gave them the help they deserve.

17 Oct 2017 16:17:21
Just heard about young mr butcher am ex army so i know how depressing it can be when out also a lost ma wee lassie 16 years old 2 years ago to suicide so ma thoughts are with the butcher family rip.

17 Oct 2017 17:19:56
You have my respect kennyjambo. Hope all is well mate👍

17 Oct 2017 18:41:42
Kennyjambo - thank you for your military service and very sorry to hear about the loss of your daughter. Thoughts are with the Butcher family.

18 Oct 2017 00:51:30
God bless mate.

18 Oct 2017 05:29:42
Sorry to hear that Kennyjambo 😪.

18 Oct 2017 05:31:49
I’m sure there are few of us that know the pain of losing a child and cannot start to comprehend what his family are going through.

Thoughts and prayers to all.

17 Oct 2017 13:22:19
Morelos is going nowhere. No chance. we're 100 percent finishing the season with a place in europe. yes he'll get more cash in England but no European football. that's where the best players want to be. In the European spotlight. unless they've been naughty playing away from home;)

17 Oct 2017 14:24:44
Rossco let me tell you nate, your spot on. Morelos will not be leaving that soon, I do however think he was brought in to do a job but sell on value for him must have been mentioned

17 Oct 2017 14:38:26
I would like to think that's the case rossco, but unfortunately money talks. If the board find any offer acceptable then the player will prob not have a choice. Just how it is.

17 Oct 2017 15:29:26
Coldo, I think the way morelos has been playing and attracting interest we probably will hang onto him and see how he progresses. I mean if he only gets better we could turn a tidy profit. Also we really don't have any other striker who really knows where the ball is meant to go.

17 Oct 2017 15:33:14
I think all bears will want him to stay but the fact is that many players aren't fussed about playing in the Europa.

And even if Rangers somehow managed to make the Champions League then a string of bad defeats would be the likely result. Speaking of which I see the 'Invincibles' are around 30/ 1 to beat Bayern. Says it all.

17 Oct 2017 15:49:09
Yip I hope we do keep a hold of him fod, I think he is a real find and as you say we don't really have any other strikers. He will only get better, but if an offer comes in that is acceptable then we could very well lose him. let's face it even championship clubs like villa don't have a problem spending 5mil etc on players. I'm just saying that we would find it hard to ignore money like that.

17 Oct 2017 15:56:25
What says it all naz? The fact that Scotlands champions are massive underdogs away from home against the German champions! What does that say, go on enlighten us! And no matter what happens tomorrow we'll still be the invincibles son 😉 And I loved the part about players ain't fussed about playing Europa league, yous can't even get in the bloody thing 😂😂😂

17 Oct 2017 15:57:28
Money talks guys!

17 Oct 2017 17:03:22
LH86

How can you call yourselves invincibles when you last 7-0 to Barcelona and won no games in your champions league group. What is your definition of the word as it seems to be different to what it really means

17 Oct 2017 17:47:51
We can call ourselves invincibles because we're undefeated in Scottish football since our manager came in! When arsenal went undefeated in England for the whole season they called themselves the invincibles despite defeats in Europe! Unlike your lot we don't try and hide the fact we were gubbed in Europe! we know were we are in regards to these teams with endless cash supplies! But it doesn't change the fact we're Scotlands invincibles! 59 games undefeated and counting pal 😉😉

17 Oct 2017 19:55:55
LH86

Yes you are unbeaten in Scotland but you don’t call yourselves Scottish invincibles you just say the invincibles which is incorrect. So what if Arsenal called themselves that too they were wrong also. Really can’t see why you can’t see the difference? To me it’s pretty clear cut no team can claim to be invincibles if they have been hammered in Europe. As for your point about hiding the fact we got gubbed in Europe I think you’ll find I have mentioned this on numerous occasions on here and made no excuses or hid the fact we were gubbed in Europe. You must have noticed my posts about that as your never off this site. Once again your wrong. Maybe next post you might get something right but I doubt it

17 Oct 2017 20:56:41
Well sparky I mentioned we are on a 59 game unbeaten run, is that not right? And we're invincible when it comes to Scottish football! And u don't know the difference because your teams that far away from a feat like that u couldn't even begin to imagine what it feels like! And as I've stated before I come on here for a right good chuckle and I'm never disappointed, it's pure comedy gold! And let me ask u a question, would it make u feel better if we start calling ourselves the Scottish invincibles? Because that's actually got a nice ring to it! 😝😝😜😜😜

18 Oct 2017 00:53:52
The same way arsenal were called invincible.

18 Oct 2017 05:23:12
Hes a columbian and probably brought up in dire conditions so he'll go were the most money is not were he can play a few games in the Europa league.

18 Oct 2017 09:03:49
LH86

Read back your first post you mention nothing about being Scotland’s invincibles just invincibles which is incorrect. I merely corrected you. I also corrected you on your assumption that all Rangers fans hide the fact we got gubbed in Europe which is also incorrect. You can have as many cheap shots as me as you like but you can’t argue your first post is incorrect and you were wrong about your remark about hiding our result in europe

18 Oct 2017 10:29:18
Well sparky I was assuming that anyone with half a brain would realise that of course we're talking about being Scotlands invincibles! Because it's quite clear we've been beat in Europe! But like I said if it makes it easier for u to deal with I'll start saying Scotlands invincibles! And u said in your posts I'm always wrong, and I asked was I wrong saying we're 59 games unbeaten? And the reason I mentioned yous hiding from your Luxembourg embarrassment is because I'd keep my mouth shut about our failures against Europes elite if that had happened to my team! Only a sevco fan could question our results against the richest teams in world football after the worse European result in Scottish football history!

18 Oct 2017 10:41:18
And sparky I'm also assuming that because of our hammerings in Europe your 'club' won't want there share of the record cash windfall each top flight Scottish club will receive this week thanks to the champions being in world footballs biggest club competition? I'm pretty sure if your lot hate us that much u'll start some sort of campaign to reject any money? U think there's any chance of that happening? 🙊🙊😉😉😉 how ironic is it that Brendan Rodgers has made more money for yous in Europe than pea brain Pedro! You couldn't make it up honestly! Comedy gold! 😂😂😂

18 Oct 2017 11:28:15
LH86

Well if you ever bothered reading my posts you will see I have continually said that the manager should go and I’ve also repeatedly said that the result against Progres was the worst in the clubs history so I don’t get how you can say I’m hiding from that result. I have been very vocal about that and have argued with many Rangers fans on here about it. So your point about that isn’t valid. I would have thought with all that excitement at your club with Europe and your unbeaten run in Scotland you would have better things to do than constantly post on a Rangers site but then again you seem totally obsessed with us. If you want to talk about hatred you should look in the mirror. It seems more important to you that Rangers fail rather then you winning

17 Oct 2017 13:11:24
Kenny millers agent talking rubbish about rangers, is he speaking for kenny now? I have a feeling miller will be playing against us in january. Any team would be lucky to land miller, aye he's old but still a decent player.

17 Oct 2017 14:57:14
There is obviously something in this otherwise why would his agent mention rat in the camp in the same breathe as miller being left out the squad. If miller was left out the squad for injury / poor form then why mention rat in the camp as that in itself imply's that miller is being accussed of being the rat and that's why he is left out the squad. Doesn't make sense.

17 Oct 2017 15:30:29
It never makes sense until the truth is out. A private life is a happy life.

17 Oct 2017 15:54:43
Yeah fod that's true.

17 Oct 2017 17:15:28
that agent needs to wind his neck in. posting online with hashtags like a teenage lassie. really hope he did it off his own back and not with kennys endorsement. trying to stir up bother when we are in a run up to a cup semi final. scumbag!

17 Oct 2017 18:32:05
Is he stirring up bother or is he telling the truth. I can't see kenny allowing his agent to say that if it was all nonsense.

17 Oct 2017 20:05:39
And I can't see him consulting Kenny before every ridiculous post coldo.

17 Oct 2017 20:23:37
Well considering he is representing miller you would think that miller would have something to say about it particularly if what he was saying was false. On simple terms rtrnrf would you let someone imply something about you if it wasn't true?

17 Oct 2017 20:43:42
He's not good enough for our team so if he's moved on in January it'll be good for everyone.

17 Oct 2017 09:33:49
I see Ashley will only sell Newcastle to someone who will take the club forward step forward Craig White.

17 Oct 2017 11:21:34
Actually chuckled at that one les. Ashley wants more than a quid to be fair.

17 Oct 2017 15:24:16
Ha. Good yin Les!

17 Oct 2017 20:07:15
Nice one Les, had me laughing too.

17 Oct 2017 08:59:34
I'm sure on behalf of not only rangers fans but football fans all over the world the very sad news of the death Terry Butchers son. We send our best wishes to you and your family.

17 Oct 2017 09:36:03
Very sad news to hear of the passing of terry butcher's son christopher! A young life gone at the tender age of 35 years old! My heartfelt condolences go out to big terry and all his family at this very sad, solemn time for all the family! God bless!

17 Oct 2017 09:38:24
My heart goes out to his entire family. This man served his country and I know from personal experience that more should be done in helping ex squaddies integrated into functioning members of society. I was years before settling in and mentally that is tough and there are plenty of times it doesn't feel worth it as too many do not recognise or care about your service nd that grates away at you especially getting paid off when the Irish Ganger found out I was in the black watch, I was going through counselling at the time and in the throws off ptsd, it was hard to keep my emotions in check and harder to feel like a valued member of society but in time it got better. That is why our armed forces day celebrations at ibrox are valued. I wish that the UK could adopt a similar approach as the US who spend billions on after service care to help servicemen and women cope and function to the best of their ability. Since the second world war suicide has been the biggest killer to our armed forces. More than terrorism or bullets. 35 year old is too young for anyone to die especially after everything that proud man had been through. R. I. P.

17 Oct 2017 10:44:33
Totally agree, deepest and heartfelt sympathy to the entire Butcher family circle.

17 Oct 2017 12:28:27
Very sad news.

17 Oct 2017 15:29:15
Good posts guys and sad news indeed.

Like Gary75 I believe far more should be done to help servicemen and women cope after they leave the forces. The fact that so many become homeless is a tragedy and the UK and Scottish governments should be ashamed by this but somehow ex-servicemen seem to be bottom of their priorities.

17 Oct 2017 17:46:24
Absolutely Naz 20% of the homeless are ex services that is well over the proportion of the population that serve

18 Oct 2017 05:22:15
Aye, we can all laugh and joke and have a bit of banter going but when something like this happens it really does put things in perspective. Heartfelt sympathies to the big guy and his family.
