well according to McCall this doesn't guarantee the lad a start in the next match so wouldn't be surprised to see him benched yet the likes of miller Clark mcculloch are guaranteed a game no wonder youngsters leave our club lad has 2 goals on his first start would be first name on my team sheet

I know everyone is worried about buying the new top and it looks like people are on here looking for the green light to actually buy the top I say might as well Ashley will get his money regardless we all know this easy solution is king to pay up its really not up to us as he has assured us that the club will be stabilised by his and others money. So buy the merch decorate the weans rooms in rangers paper keep the spirit alive at the end of the day all this shit will happen any how. I can't not buy my boys the tops every year or anything else they ask for incase it upsets anybody else.

In a similar position myself mate, but the kids will be getting their strips no matter what anyone thinks.

You may as well buy them , As long as your legally tied into the contract then and if it is true the club has to buy unsold stock then MA is going to be paid either way.

What you need to be worried about if there are clauses in the current contract giving him first refusal at current value +5% etc when the contract comes up for renewal.

Regarding our new home top what do all fellow bears think of the new rangers home top and do we think its smarter than the current home top?I personally think it's a very smart top and rate it smarter than our current top although I like all rangers tops and always especially the home one,our new top is a cracking design imo!

Jr you just got me reminiscing about some of are kits in the past, we've had some brilliant ones over the years, I remember getting my first one 87/88 I think blue home with squares and a wee red white and blue collar mcewans lager the sponsor! I remember the adidas ones we wore in the champions league the year we beat leeds and nearly got to final, also I loved the red Nike one 98/99. Ah the memorys

Been reading about the new strips and that supposedly the club will have to pay for the complete stock from ashley regardless of how much are sold does anyone know is there a limit to the actual maximum stock like say 70,000 tops or can ashley say 500,000 tops have been manufactured and demand payment in full for the whole 500,000 because that would be very worrying if that was the case I only ask as with the strips being made by puma and Ashley owning or part owning that brand would he have control over how many strips are made?
Just to note that imo the tops actually look ok better that some of the guff the clubs releasd over the last 10-20 years as I've often thought some of the training tops and shorts look much better that our match kits and I was always irked when the team were forced to change to blue shorts socks ect in Europe due to rules when it looked as if the other team were wearing the correct kits.

Our new puma home top is now our 3rd home top made by puma and although I liked all 3 this new top is the smarter design of the 3 followed by our current top and then our first home top made by puma 3rd

I'm just trying to visualise you speaking the words that you've posted, bearing in mind your age now,"I like puma tops" This one was better than that" "My favourite was a nike top"Its cringeworthy mate. As long as they're in blue with the badge on the shirt that will do me,as you keep reminding us,its all about opinions.

On a very serious note I would just like to say how very saddened to hear that young irish girl karen buckley had been murdered,my heart goes out to all karen's family & friends at this so very sad time,I can only imagine what they're all going through,a young girl so brutally taken away by a monster who quite simply is not a human being and I make no apologies for saying that, god bless you karen, sleep tight with the angels, like the full nation I'm so saddened that someone could do this to a bright young girl who had everything to live for,god take care of all karen's family & friends, this is so heartbreaking!

Not much information from the board at all. Something is going on, ready to make a move on MA and sort this mess out? Needs to be soon!

Making moves indeed. I like McCall, but he has come out and defended McCulloch in press today. We don't see behind dressing room doors, but if he motivates the team we haven't seen that this season, and we can all see how he is on pitch. so why insult our intelligence by defending the indefensible?Jig is red rotten, done, part of all the old baggage holding us back. baffled.
