Ryan guald to hibs? Surely not.

18 Jan 2016 20:46:56
Where did you get this from Albertz? Sincerely hope not!

18 Jan 2016 20:54:00
Just a lot of hibs fans on social media all of a sudden have posted Ryan guald and nothing else. Not much to gi on, and I doubt he would swap the sunshine of Portugal for the sunshine of leith. Thought their maybe rumours amongst their fans about a loan deal or something.

18 Jan 2016 21:51:11
If he is do you think it will be another great young hope failing to reach his potential. The boy could do great things in the future but I think sporting will not want him back in Scotland if they want to develop him for the future if he goes to hibs they won't have much hope for him making it. I think he just needs to be a bit more aggressive to push his way into the first team. How do you think Oduwa's loan spell will reflect on his spurs chances if he can't hold a place in a team in the second tier of Scotland I know we are the mighty gers but the English hold no respect for us as the do for the rest of Europe hence the reason they get pumped in Europe. Sporting will certainly not rate the Scottish second tier and definitely not a team that look likely to spend at least another year there. If for some crazy reason he did go there its nothing for us to worry about its really funny how the elephant man G gone quiet the last few weeks.

18 Jan 2016 22:31:59
Albert! Really can't see gauld going to hibs.

18 Jan 2016 18:52:47
Am I the only one that's getting fed up with the signing saga, we appear to go in with stupid low offers time and time again, . I'm not saying go in with stupid high offers but come on you think they would have learned from farting around with Scot Allan, by the way before you all get heat up about meantioning Allan I'm now glad we didn't!
Come on Rangers act like Rangers FFS.

18 Jan 2016 19:20:26
I think its annoying but if we get £100k or so off the price then I think its worth it. If you're bringing up Allan Celtic got him cheaper than what our 3rd offer was, around about the same as the 2nd. He was never getting sold to us.

18 Jan 2016 20:05:49
Celtic gave them Dylan mcgeough who had just signed a 4 yr deal and was valued at around 400k, they also got Henderson on loan for the season. I think jobs did very well out the deal as most hubs fans think mcgeough has been one of there best players this season.

18 Jan 2016 21:00:39
I think timing also has a lot to do with it. MW likes to do his deals early but imo other clubs like to wait and see if a better offer will come along later.

18 Jan 2016 22:25:01
Well said bongo. Acting with no professionalism. Why can't we keep our business out the press either?

19 Jan 2016 10:57:29
I'm glad Scott Allan never came to the gers, we got holt and Halliday who are far better people, loyalty is most important.

18 Jan 2016 16:50:31
St Johnstone player Murray Davidson says he doesn't know whether Michael O'Halloran will join us

18 Jan 2016 21:42:10
Its like our manager says Gavin RFC, if michael o'halloran doesn't want to sign for us we drop our interest right away and move on, warbs and all us bears only want players who want to play for us and don the famous glasgow rangers jersey, we don't want anyone no matter how good they are that doesn't want to play for us mate.

18 Jan 2016 22:13:43
I'm hearing tonight that celtic are wanting to sign michael o'halloran have asked st. johnstone to be kept up to speed with any other club's bid for him.

19 Jan 2016 07:14:59
I heard the same thing last week.

18 Jan 2016 16:03:55
does anyone know if rangers have any plans to bring back the rangers news magazine?

18 Jan 2016 16:30:22
Hope they do always bought it! Hate seeing the celtic one on the shelfs without a rangers one to put over the top of it haha.

18 Jan 2016 18:47:00
Will that not mean more money for the Fat Boy using a Rangers trade mark I'm not sure, I miss it as well used to love taking it on holiday and leaving in the hotel!

18 Jan 2016 14:06:21
Does anyone remember the kid from Feyenoord we were trying to sign, his name was Tarik Fagrach. His goals record for their U20's was really good. Did we get him signed up?

18 Jan 2016 14:29:51
bigjohn I'm sure we did sign him up in December. I'm sure I seen a interview in a match programme.

18 Jan 2016 14:33:08
Yes signed early December I'm sure but isn't on the rangers website for some reason.

18 Jan 2016 14:33:46
Think we offered him a 3 yr deal if i'm correct not heard much about him since.

18 Jan 2016 16:38:16
The lad is 17, future prospect and is being used in the under 21's I believe.

18 Jan 2016 20:46:25
Yeah I asked this question a few weeks back. he's listed on some sites as being a rangers player and has been confirmed on some Dutch websites over here that he signed. he's a risky one though. Very disruptive on the training ground and attempted to punch the manager during a training ground bust up. If they can get his temperament under control then possibly a good signing.

18 Jan 2016 12:50:31
People should read city trader to manager, its a great read . I love Warburtons professionalism, his ideas of how the game should be played . he wants his players to eat, drink, sleep football and conduct them selves on and off the park . players want to be here because of what rangers are and can be, the players that have come want to play football and play for rangers the best signing we have made this season will be Warburton and weir. The best football at Ibrox in years and to think last year it all looked so bleak ps well done to the board love them or hate them what a massive e turn around very exciting time.

18 Jan 2016 16:11:04
Toooooo right damo, we are going forward nicely, oh yeh there will be blips along the way but the hat can spot these before it gets into a rut and tweets things some to get us back on track, for me the guy oozes class.

18 Jan 2016 23:55:54
Class that's the word the big time city trader making rangers great again I can't wait.

18 Jan 2016 12:27:50
Don't know why some people are complaining about who we are signing this time last year we had no one coming and no one wanting to come just 5 rejects from the fat man from Newcastle.

18 Jan 2016 12:58:47
I agree apart from vuckic I think he will be back rangers are in his heart.

18 Jan 2016 14:58:50
Amasing change on where we were last season. Good ro be signing quality and impressed with the football on display.

Of the 5 loanees from newcastle thought the only one with talent would be bigirimana good to see what level he gets to. As for vuckic, he was too predictable and as slow as week in tha jail. A star in an average team but would be like oduwa in this seasons team. Flair but not what we need.

18 Jan 2016 12:22:11
Foddy

Tav
Wilson
Kiernan
Wallace

Big Dio
Halliday
Holt

O'Hal
Waggy the Goal Machine
Wee McK

Solid Team, Good Pace, Adding some experience, things are looking better. That team should walk it to the end of the season.

Hibs have signed 2 good experience players in Stokes and Tommo.

I think it is a must that wee add the same with Dio and O'Hal. Gets them bedded in for next season in Premiership.

Add in the 2 new boys from Accrington. Keep Law, good Player, get him tied down. Add experienced CB and another out and out Striker and its Manky mob here we come

They have shafted themselves keep that manager, team full of foreigners V a team of young hungry British bears with few experiences head chucked in there. Am fairly confident for our future.

The Magic Hat

WATP!

18 Jan 2016 14:22:29
Totally agree. Love that we have a young British team, with the exception of Dio, and not signing old foreign duds (see Cribari) .
Can only see us strengthening defence in the summer, as once Ball goes back I don't think we have much in terms of cover!

18 Jan 2016 22:34:59
The team above is certainly a huge leap in the right direction bears.

18 Jan 2016 10:53:21
Maybe 1 criticism i have with MW is he says he likes to give youth a chance but I've yet to see it saturday the game was won at HT perfect chance to give young jordan thompson a run out for 2nd half also hardie not even on bench he brings on zelalem and sheils 1 who isn't going to be here next season and sheils he has already seen what he can do how about giving guys a run out when game is won and let's see what they can do even forrester never got a run out the guy obviously needs game time.

18 Jan 2016 14:25:49
I remember at the start of the season MW saying he likes to rotate the squad but I don't see that happen as often as I would like. Obviously if it's not broken don't fix it, but I would definitely like to see more of Thompson and Hardie.
Also, with Cammy back on the bench, what's to happen with the new lad Gostomski? If he has 6 months to impress and get in before Fod and Bell, then good luck to him. Will see by the end of this window who's still here I suppose!

18 Jan 2016 15:27:56
get us back in premiership and then worry about the youth, this league is still to be won, no slip ups can be had this year, I think MW is spot on not playing youth, its not the time, plus, send them out on loan to prove their worth, never done Wee McK any harm, been the making of him!

18 Jan 2016 09:23:21
For those denoucning the O'Halloran - iminent signing hopefully - lad.

His record this year so far is 5 goals and 10 assists in 25 games.

Which is fine by me, trust our manager 100%.

As for the people always mentioning the fact "we don't have an out and out goalscorer" i'd hate to see what you're calling Martyn Waghorn with his 27 goals this season, and its just January.

WATP.

18 Jan 2016 13:11:55
O'Halloran has a similar record to that of Waghorns when he was at Wigan, 29 appearances and 5 goals, the rest speakes for itself.

18 Jan 2016 08:00:01
our manager wants take the gers into Europe where we all want to be that's fine he also to change the structure of the season play more games midweek my question would if we qualify for Europe which midweek does MW suggest we play our league games and please do even think about the fans trying to afford to want the gers twice a week
it may be as the clash sang London is calling MW.

18 Jan 2016 09:27:44
What sort of post is that, Rangers r used to playing two games a week, when we got to the uefa cup final we had 4 games in 11 days, and as for London calling, utter nonsense mw is here for at least 3 yrs, as he said he's building something!

18 Jan 2016 10:07:55
aye and we all know the outcome o that season
and I agree it will take time to get us back to competing
in Europe but I am sure we do not want to be like the other mob and getting embarrassed in the qualifiers
and the cup game against cowdenbeath drew a staggering 20 thousand punters and that's is my point punters will pick and choose the games they can afford to go too.

18 Jan 2016 10:18:26
Delboy I'm sure it was 4 games in 8 days at one point Sat/Tues/Thur/Sun.
Then the powers in charge changed the rules to make sure it didn't happen again (unless it's Rangers of course! ) . Remember Dick Advocaat mentioning the fact that Zenit hadn't had a match for 10 days prior to the final and also that he wasn't surprised when told how Rangers were being treated. Shameful.

18 Jan 2016 11:20:58
Bowmac!
Your post is a shambles.
To suggest London is Calling for MW? Do you mean he should leave? Really?

If we get to Europe then SOME midweeks will be busier, granted. However if you actually listened to what MW's been saying he also thinks we should have more teams in the league (16) playing each other twice there for only 30 games not the 36 we would be playing this season. Would you rather we get extra games against Killie or a shot at Europe?

18 Jan 2016 13:53:11
I do not mind how the gers play at ibrox and have done so foe over thirty years be league cup or champions league
yes if yoy or I were not happy at our work we would move
on that is why I said London is calling may be he misses his family and I would not hold that against him
and I do remember when we had only the two leagues in Scotland and we played football in the winter and sometimes were still in European comps after xmas.

18 Jan 2016 07:26:34
Another thing I would say is in the summer we need 2 centre half's unless these defensive midfielders can protect them and you may disagree but I don't rate Danny wilson i think kiernan could be ok with a higher quality centre back with him

Watp.

18 Jan 2016 05:42:16
Starting 11 if all the player's come would be
Fozzy
Tavernier Wilson kiernan wallace
Dioragora crooks
Holt waghorn windass
O'halloren
I know halliday and mckay have been excellent this season but this is progression and I'm unsure about forester he looks like a one trick pony to me but I hope I'm wrong.

18 Jan 2016 08:44:42
Billy 1974, I think you have the base of the team fundamentally right although I can see crooks being used more as a centre back, I think Halliday will be used in a midfield 3 of diagouraga, holt and halliday.

18 Jan 2016 10:22:47
Shaking my head. Barrie McKay has been absolutely outstanding and yet he gets kicked into touch to make way for unknown quantities. Surely it's about competition for places. These guys are not going to just walk into the team, believe me. They will have to earn a start.

18 Jan 2016 10:30:34
You are forgetting one thing our manager likes to swap around and keep things fresh. There will be plenty time for Law and McKay to be involved and on present form Law walks into any team.

18 Jan 2016 11:00:02
Can't leave Mackay out. He has been a revelation under MW.
