18 Mar 2016 23:29:22
I believe Mark Warburton got it wrong tonight with his usual 60 min Subs, Barrie McKay best player on the park, Billy King I thought caused them problems and Miller was doing a lot better than Clark, Forrester back to what he looked like when he came and O, Halloran should have been on from the start, we should have been 5 or 6 up in the first half. Tavenier and Halliday a Mike slow I did say Falkirk was not a Gimme fair play to them they took there chances well, we can only learn from this, we have a cushion the rest don't! dectry O'Halloran at centre forward!

18 Mar 2016 23:58:29
Forrester must still be carrying this bug or he'd of started, thought the first half was superb, then as you say 60 mins our subs don't work falkirks do, might be a good kick on the arse but hey sometimes sh1t happens, we've done well this season polar opposites from last season, also agree about the game was always going to be a hard game as falkirk are a good young hungry team and nobody will go there and walk over them, we have just got to learn but us fans have also got to remember where we are and how far we have come and have to go, also its mw first season in scotland so let's just crack on.

19 Mar 2016 00:15:07
Imo Falkirk had a game plan to catch us out on the offside trap and it worked.

19 Mar 2016 05:40:21
On a scale of 1-10 of disappointment that was an 11. The substitutions weren't negative but they were sure as hell unnecessary and Peter Houston won the touchline battle 3-0 with his. We took off the best player on the pitch by a mile, lose a goal and then the rest of the forward line minutes later. Can you imagine Barcelona subbing their front three?

Can't be fatigue, haven't played for 7 days, no sign of injuries, changed the flow and played into Falkirk's hands. I think Law should have come on for Ball, Halliday's complete lack of a right foot hampers when he goes right side and who's that no. 2 impersonating Tavernier? We sure did snatch defeat from the jaws of victory last night, all self inflicted.

19 Mar 2016 07:08:43
Ohallorans not done one thing to prove he's good enough to start a game absolutely anonymous every game he's played.

19 Mar 2016 09:00:52
Cee, were you not at or did you not see michael o'halloran's performance against st. mirren at ibrox a few weeks ago? He was tremendous that night and the motm by a mile, what about his goal at alloa? Not done a thing you say well I've just told you what he's done and remember he missed our cup games as he was cup-tied, try checking facts before decrying someone, he'll be a great signing for us!

19 Mar 2016 09:37:59
15th He's been poor the last 2 games, one game in 4 doesn't make you fantastic. i'm sure he'll come good though.

Tavernier is becoming a problem, the guy can't defend at all, slack passes puts us under so much pressure at the back. No competition means he's far too complacent.

19 Mar 2016 12:12:29
Super ally, myp reply to cee's post was to point out his criticism of o'halloran was over the top imo as he'd stated that o'halloran had contributed nowt which isn't the case, I agree he's not been at his best in our last 2 games but like yourself I don't have one shred of doubt that he'll be a terrific signing for us, some fans seem to think players can't have any mediocre games and are too quick to jump on a players back, try and have a little patience as any footballer will have below par games.

19 Mar 2016 12:22:04
Warburtonthefifteenth

O Halloran will need to improve on his final ball and scoring to be great signing.

19 Mar 2016 13:58:33
Yes biffo 316,but giving the guy a bit of time will help mate, he's only just signed for us what do you want him to be in that time? Messi! Give o'halloran time for god's sake!

19 Mar 2016 14:31:38
What last night proved yet again is that Clark is just not good enough. We need a top quality striker and for me we also need a better centre back than Wilson.

19 Mar 2016 17:30:17
Warburtonthefifteenth

What are you talking about? All I said that in order to be a good signing he will need to improve in certain areas of his game. Never said that he isn't good enough or get rid of him. I am merely giving you my opinion of what he needs to do. Nothing to do with being impatient or having a dig at him. Stop being so sensitive when it comes to him.

19 Mar 2016 00:49:39
Stmonkey I think your right about forrester I saw the coaches give him a pill before he came on was thinking while watching it that he's obviously still ill.

19 Mar 2016 08:36:41
agree cee i personally don't think OH is a good player probably proved wrong, hopefully, but he looks pish at the moment if being honest.

20 Mar 2016 00:00:32
Biffo, , you must realise the boy is writing a romantic novel bout our great manager, don't be asking questions,

18 Mar 2016 22:39:40
I will be happy with today's result if it means hibs finish 3rd.

18 Mar 2016 22:29:16
Gutted we lost this evening but its not the end of the world, could actually be a good thing in a strange sort of way with Celtic game on the horizon, hopefully players will learn from tonight that they aren't invincible and need to defend better and be more ruthless in front of goal if we are to beat Celtic, which i'm convinced we will. Treble still very much on.

19 Mar 2016 08:07:46
Treble hahaha I don't think the petrofac cup counts as part of the 'treble' lol.

19 Mar 2016 10:33:27
It would if the unwashed were still in it.

19 Mar 2016 10:47:48
I meant in it haha.

19 Mar 2016 08:29:55
that second half display was nothing short of shambolic, why tamper with McKay and Miller in the first place was management, s error full stop, the central defence will get tore to ribbons by Celtic if they adopt last night, s attitude, Wilson thinks he, s better than he is ( not Rangers class) I, m afraid, ta vernier will need dropped as positioning very poor at defending, maybe it, s me but very worried about players believing they are superstars. rangers getting beat of Falkirk isn't by any means a good thing.

18 Mar 2016 22:10:45
Barrie mckay was tremendous tonight and shouldn't have been taken off, he was the motm by a mile, mckay has a terrific first touch and arguably has one of the best first touches in scottish football, if warbs had kept mckay on we would have won in a canter!

18 Mar 2016 22:25:32
He did play well, but there was a good few found wanting. To be honest if it was wasn't for fod they could have scored 5. We had our chances too but losing a 2 nil lead is very poor.

18 Mar 2016 22:35:15
I thought he was subbed as he took a knock early second half and was struggling a wee bit? Soon as he went off we had no out ball and looked to me like we got complacent, panicked and caved in. Got to say, tav was horrific the entire night and when hypolite came on he got absolutely roasted. He's been poor for weeks and could do with a break to recharge in my book, he's never played a full season before and it's starting to show. I'm sticking with the positives though as during that first half we played superbly at times and the goals were sublime. Should be taken as a good lesson not to take the foot off the gas.

19 Mar 2016 08:12:16
Spart7

Yeah it's a worry before the Celtic game as you say that player roasted Tavernier and say what you want about McKay-Steven but he could really expose Tavernier. He just can't defend and will be a liability in the premiership.

19 Mar 2016 15:40:17
They will target tav and Wilson bigtime, here comes the loudspeakers " negative" shout, only man who left hapoy last night was delia.

18 Mar 2016 22:38:43
Are we keeping him safe when we thought jobwas done?

19 Mar 2016 08:43:02
biffo correct tavernier will leak goals from that side spl managers wil have already clocked that.

18 Mar 2016 22:08:26
Omg come on guys we switched off and got punished every good team hit a bump. Only couple weeks ago we were playing best football ever and every player was messi Jesus just calm down. We won't lose another game this season. They will get there arse kicked in morning from warbuton so they will know not to fall asleep again.

18 Mar 2016 22:14:25
Couldn't have put in better myself alexcee.

18 Mar 2016 22:16:29
Totally agree alexcee but still think wtf! C. B both had a bad shift!

18 Mar 2016 22:27:06
No excuses mate, we were 2 up and cruising.

18 Mar 2016 22:29:11
I have never heard anyone on this site saying any of our players were playing like messi. Tonight just showed how far we have to go to even try and compete in the top league. That's 4 games against Falkirk this season and they could have gone either way. A Falkirk team who are an established championship side. Our defence is nowhere near good enough for the top league.

18 Mar 2016 22:42:03
I honestly think as soon as falkirk put serious pressure on us in the final third of the park, our players didn't know what to do half the time, there was a lot of sloppy passes tnyt aswell lads, but awell we'll move onto next game now.

18 Mar 2016 23:53:57
At least biffo recognises the poor defenders, , nowhere near good enuf fir Scottish prem never mind Europe, , here we go, Il be accused by mouthy of being negative, I'm not I just always known tge defence is piss poor
Tommy.

18 Mar 2016 23:57:09
Most teams we have beaten havnt tried a leg for fear of being demolished, , two teams have ripped out defence aoart, and other lesser sides have scored goals at ibrox, Wilson was never any good, get a few "iron curtain" men in, and build a spine, then use tge fkaur players
Tommy.

19 Mar 2016 00:25:09
Soz I meant flair players above, some will point to Wilson playing and winning fir hearts last season,
Hearts played against the worst Rangers side since Gregor Stevens days, altho Gregor was actually a tad better and harder than Ian black et al, they had nothing to beat after Rangers proved how incompetent they were under ally, hibs were much worse and there was nobody else to beat, Wilson cruised, he won't get away with that shortly, I don't even know if i'd keep him, he needs a weir beside him, defence is awful, commons and the ugly one will be relishing them
Tommy.

19 Mar 2016 08:15:48
Tbh Wallace is the only defender good enough for the premiership. Tavernier, Wilson and Kiernan won't cut it and we need better players in. Excluding the 2 Accrington lads we still need 6 quality players to compete.

18 Mar 2016 22:18:03
Sorry - but this was simply shocking!

We should have been out of sight but only 2 up after ten minutes and then we we're unable to close out!

How many times does this have to happen before someone thinks it is s problem?

18 Mar 2016 22:05:24
The biggest wake up call in liveing history and people think we would rip that lot from across the city apart wake up and smell the coffee tav and Wilson looked so weak all game and we have no bottle long way to go shocking shocking rangers.

18 Mar 2016 22:15:57
Ball and Kiernan total pish, Halidays slow and one footed Tav poor, that's about it folks, these are the main areas needing changes, good wake up call, well worth getting pumped as it will screw the hibbos up a lot, lol.

18 Mar 2016 22:30:57
Stuzo

Never good to lose and the players have already had wake up calls against Hibs and Falkirk already this season. We aren't that great a side and hopefully now some people on here will stop their over the top nonsense about just how good they think we are.

18 Mar 2016 22:59:21
Sounds like you've been hoping for that sort of a result for a while biffo? Congratulations. I think we are a very decent team but obviously not the finished article with a long way still to go. The management clearly agree as they admitted months ago we'd need five or six quality players added for the premiership. However, the way you go on its as though we are dire, and I cannot agree with that summation. On our day we will give anyone a game, including Celtic. First half we were sensational at times but didn't capitalise, hence the aforementioned additions required in the summer for the step up. It's a marathon not a sprint as they say.

18 Mar 2016 23:02:21
I agree that it's never good to lose but I see that lessons will be learned with every set back.

One loss in after a run of 15 wins and we're straight back to the doom squad saying we're not good enough for Scotlands top tier!

18 Mar 2016 23:31:37
Well to be exact that's - 13 wins and 2 draws, before some smart arse corrects me. Lol.

18 Mar 2016 23:59:48
Careful lads, the union jack brigade will be accusing you of being tims. Old mouthy been back on since his speech about being 2 nil up?
Tommy.

19 Mar 2016 07:11:10
Hey biffo, get what you are saying bro, I'm not to fussed it will set us straight for the Tim game, Ronnie the rocket sitting in the stands is not as good a manager as housty, he and square jaw will have went away with their Fanny game plan, lol thinking they Sussex us out but the hat will pull the rabbit out wait n see.

19 Mar 2016 08:19:54
Spart7

Not hoping but expecting big difference. It's funny that you then go on to say we are a very decent team then say but we need 6 players. More than half a team needed then! So we are that decent but you still would replace more than half the team? What does that tell you?

19 Mar 2016 10:50:18
It's horses for courses biffo. Wasn't intentionally having a go at you mate, having just read my post back I can see it seems that way though. In this league we are a very very good side playing, for the most part, exceptional football. That cannot be argued with imo. However, when we get promotion we will need better quality to maintain that. It's common sense really that we can be both a very good side yet still require quality to challenge in premiership over a season. Hearts recognised that, for example, and added at least five first teamers over the summer to enhance a squad that played exceptionally well last season. That's all I was meaning.

19 Mar 2016 11:29:34
Spart7

Agree mate we do need at least 6 quality players in. However it will be interesting what happens in the summer. I would think Clark, Law, Shiels and Templeton will go and Ball/ Zelalem will go back to their clubs. Warburton has already stated that the squad is small so if these players go and we get 6 then we still have a small squad. I also think that Tavernier, Wilson and Kiernan aren't good enough for the premiership and I'm not sure if the players we have out on loan will be ready to make such a big step up either.

19 Mar 2016 15:53:23
Biffo, , you took the words right out of my mouth. mate, very decent, but need 6 players? , here's a fact, when Rangers were struggling ti stay alive almost none of the guys on here who are shouting bout how great we are, were never heard of, now they see glory, . The facts as I see it from a players view and a fanatics view is, Thi Rangers team are brilliant passing Dumbarton to death, but collapse against even decent players like alston, Cummings, vaulks, etc, how can they be expected to cope with Griffiths, commons, gms, button, with broon bullying them in the middle and Robert flying at tav? Not to mention the big man city guy throwing himself at Wilson? let's just pray we don't get a tanking lads, because it could cause major disruption.

{Ed001's Note - big Man City guy? They have Patrick Roberts on loan, but one thing he is not is big. He is only about 5ft 5 tall!}

18 Mar 2016 22:40:09
Just a blip boys calm down.

19 Mar 2016 08:05:52
Old sat Nav. The proverbial game of 2 halves and don't you just love it when we lose. Should have been 6 up at half time. Even Houston said as much. Defending poor. Switched off. Lost concentration. Poor substitutions. A blip. Let's move on unless you want to continue picking through the bones of the defeat like a vulture. I'm sure MW and DW will have kicked their arses for this.

Do you think this is a Rangers problem? Seen it plenty times in the past. Been in the situation plenty times myself. 2-0 can be dodgy. Saw it coming tbh. As long as we couldn't get the third goal it was giving Falkirk a lift. And how many times will Alston come up with a shot like that? To sum up. Great play for a lot if the game. Poor decisions. Poor finishing. Bad defending. Poor sub decisions and some rank bad luck. If it had been Ally's team it would have been 2 shots at goal and 33% possession. At least we are still playing well for the most part. Over to you sat nav!

19 Mar 2016 10:51:07
Spart: I agree, look how well we play, the Dundee game for instance, however we had a lead and McKay had a chance to kill it, that would have settled us at half time.
Falkirk got one back and sniffed a chance, they have roasted teams on their own pitch many times, when they attacked, we couldn't handle it, it happens, the subs upset the flow also.

18 Mar 2016 22:01:32
I'll get slottered for this but we can't win them all. Tonight we should have as the game done by second half but we were rank. On to the next, only four results needed Hibs will bottle it yet again tomorrow. I still think we'll win the league against Dumbarton on 5th April.

19 Mar 2016 08:14:35
You will get slaughtered but hey ho, I think you are right so let's both of us get it. Funny how you never see them come on after a good result. Tommy must have been so stunned he couldn't post for about 3-4 days after the Dundee match. I'll always be here win lose or draw and I will put the boot in if I think it's merited. Wilson was player of the season for Hearts. He's been doing well lately. Maybe this is a blip. Have they never seen Amoruso make a mistake? Wilson and Tavernier were poor last night. Okay let's move on.

18 Mar 2016 21:41:43
What have I just watched, I think mw made the wrong subs should have brought on law .

18 Mar 2016 21:55:39
Criminal from us tonight. one word. defence!

18 Mar 2016 22:13:05
One bad game doesn't turn a season, we move on. Defence has been steady recently. Poor way to lose a game but shouldn't take away how well we have performed over the season.

18 Mar 2016 22:13:52
Rony will be confident watching that defencive display.

18 Mar 2016 21:38:58
How to switch off and ship three goals? Wtf?
Miller went off and so did the control. Great start again but ends up being their night?

18 Mar 2016 21:38:48
Total disgrace 2 new centre backs needed, halliday nowhere good enough 4 nxt season.

18 Mar 2016 21:43:34
Too many people getting carried away about the team. Tonight just shows how far we have to go.

18 Mar 2016 22:05:57
First 45 minutes, total control apart from a few forgivable mistakes from Tav. Second 45 minutes? Dafuq? No idea totally relaxed/ lazy defence and no real drive or determination to kill the game off?

I thought a two goal lead was comfortable? I hope the lads take it on the chin and keep their heads up.

18 Mar 2016 22:45:44
Should have been 4 up early on, but awell these things happin in football, does not change my prediction in the semi final, still very confident.

18 Mar 2016 21:58:27
Biffo316

Spot on - including the Hat - wrong subs tonight. Long time since I have seen such an abject surrender from a any team!

Alloa 3-2?

Mccoist lost has job soon after

Very poor.

18 Mar 2016 21:36:04
Rank rotten!
We take our foot off the gas far too early. Too much tippy tippy.

18 Mar 2016 19:57:08
Aye we are not that good are we? Should be 3 already! Thought we might get 4. Make that 6.

18 Mar 2016 20:13:24
What has happened to Tavernier?
He has been woeful the last few games.

18 Mar 2016 21:22:07
R u learning anything yet?
Tommy.

18 Mar 2016 21:34:27
You must be under the couch now eh? Mouth almighty, do you realise yet that Thi defence could never cope with Celtics attack? And you say you played football,
Tommy.

18 Mar 2016 21:35:53
Falkirk now 3 2 up disgrace defence rubish.

18 Mar 2016 21:37:40
Seeker, yes it is 3 and we've still got 2.

18 Mar 2016 21:37:45
To all those over confident fans thinking we are going to turn Celtic over. Defending was appallingly and we lost the plot in the final 20 mins. To concede 3 goals to a team who should have been dead and buried is criminal.

18 Mar 2016 21:38:03
Tom tom. think timmy is learning lots.

18 Mar 2016 21:38:22
The seeker

Your thoughts now please?

18 Mar 2016 21:38:25
2 up and cruising, not good at all.

18 Mar 2016 21:07:58
Speaker, you truly are a silly man, nobody says Rangers are not good, just that some understand new players are required fir a higher level, do you not understand that? I am more of a Rangers fan than you will ever be, I don't scream how great we are because we won the Scottish second tier, I am more than happy at the moment, but I know we need better quality in certain areas, so, incidentally does the manager and board, you are making a fool of yourself, it's little wonder sellik fans laugh, now please don't answer me.

18 Mar 2016 21:41:42
Maybe not. Got what they deserved tbh. Can't miss so many chances and expect to win games like this. Disappointing. One good thing - maybe wee Ronny will think it's in the bag and underestimate us. Will still canter the league which is the main thing. Let's hear it then guys!

18 Mar 2016 21:47:28
Total lack of tactics too many bombing forward and only one defender who can defend. Big gaping wound in the middle of midfield and two centre halves who can't cope with balls slid between them or somebody running at them?

18 Mar 2016 22:33:46
Seeker

You are totally delusional if you think he will underestimate us. His job is on the line and there is no way he is as daft as that. Your clutching at straws if you think that.

18 Mar 2016 23:23:52
Seeker if you are going to float- wait till full time. Otherwise it can come back to bite you.

18 Mar 2016 23:38:26
Same goes for if you want to gloat 😀.

19 Mar 2016 00:06:35
He doesn't have the capacity to wait, hos fingers get itchy and his mouth salivates, a " little englander" if ever I heard one,
Tommy.

18 Mar 2016 18:21:18
Am I correct in thinking that if we win our next 3 league games then we can tie the league up with a win against Dumbarton at home on Tuesday 5th April? 14 points clear with 8 games to go.

18 Mar 2016 19:01:51
IT all depends on the results as it stands Hibs have two games in hand if they win them Rangers need to win there next four games to be sure, but one game at a time Mon the Rangers were coming be Afraid!

18 Mar 2016 21:44:43
Bongo

Be afraid of what?

18 Mar 2016
The real time live chat page is open for today's Rangers match at the below link for you to talk to each other during the match

18 Mar 2016 15:58:34
I just want to point out regarding our goals, when Martin got injured, a lot of people asked who is going to score for us, some even suggested we would lose the league.
Since Waggys injury not counting his goal against Kilmarnock when he scored then went off, we've scored 12 times in the league and 4 times against Dundee in the cup so we're doing good and getting goals from all positions in Warb we trust.

18 Mar 2016 14:06:40
With regards to next month's semi final, do people genuinely believe that Rangers can win? Sure, its easy to say that we have come a long way in a short space of time (which we have) and that they are not playing too well at the moment (which is also true) but the other factors and the multiple variables are going to make this game fascinating.

Celtic will be favourites; and rightly so. They are the current champions, the best team in the country and man for man on paper should be untouchable.

However, they are under pressure, big time. Not the best form from a team which has been more or less together for a couple of seasons at the very least;a manager who's job is being brought into question (rightly or wrongly) ;only one recognised striker, who admittedly is having a blinder at the moment, though lose him and what happens then? and maybe most importantly of all, a possible superiority complex which as we all know can be self devastating.

Will Rangers win? Let's hope so, I would say as a rough estimate its 60-40 in their favour.

Can Rangers win? You better believe it!

Warburton is a better manager than Deila (my opinion and yes he hasn't won anything yet but who do you think they would rather have in charge? ) .

Rangers currently, on their day, could beat any team in Scotland. I will caveat that statement with saying that if Rangers play the way we did against Dundee and Celtic play the way they have in certain games this season then we have a real chance to turn them over.

Waghorn would be a massive boost for us and a boost for them if he doesn't play, but there are others who can perform to the same standard in his stead.

Wallace and Tavenier have had good seasons so far and hopefully this can be replicated in this game.

My one worry is that our defence, and I am particularly talking about central defence, hasn't come up against a team with their strength, or a player of Griffiths' form and ability. Nulifying that should be a priority (though I doubt The Hat needs MY advice) .

Another factor is that there will be probably more Old Firm debutants on either side than in any game I can remember (thats a long time by the way) .

I cannot wait.

18 Mar 2016 16:05:11
Jfc, I pray Rangers will win, but I very much doubt it, they will be so much fired up they will come flying at us from minute one, , commons will be relishing this game, as will the griffmonster and broony the Ned, int'l be difficult for Rangers young players to cope with what will be an onslaught,

Maybe if WE dominate early play it may be different, I hope so, far too many on here who literally don't understand the difference in quality that money buys, its simple really, Rangers play some beautiful football, and may just be even better than we have seen, but they won't, no matter what some will have you believe have come across a side as, admittedly in a poor season, who have regularly played in European games and top league games, the pace will be ferocious, so let's just hope Warns has them ready for the onslaught, I just worry, a lot, bout the defences ability to cope with commons, griffiths, and probably Roberts, with Delia throwing button and that big donkey from man city into every corner kick, can Wilson deal with that? I hope so
Tommy.

18 Mar 2016 16:43:04
Tomtom, I agree we might be underdogs and have said many times that this will be a hard game. But this ferocious pace from top SPL games and european games? And expect an onslaught? Yes they will be favourites and have two or three really good players but your statements above are just nonsense. Not once this season have celtic played with a ferocious onslaught. Well maybe 9-0 v hamilton, but we are better than hamilton. This will be a close tight game. There players bar two or three are p! $$ poor. They don't fancy this.

18 Mar 2016 16:55:23
Ferocious onslaught! A thing that can't be switched on and off. Where was their ferocious onslaught when they were trying to get into the CL group stage or when they were placed in a Europa League group that everybody said they would easily qualify from? Where was this ferocious onslaught in their last cup semi final? Some people have just no idea.

Brown is a workhorse and Celtic too his boots, I like to see that in players, but he ain't the most skilful or quickest of players. If wee McKay goes past him a couple of times early on Brown may be in for an early bath. In all seriousness look at the Celtic team How many are straight out and out team players? I think that's part of their problem to many paying for wages and not the team. I still see them winning and agree Griff could be the difference. Hope I'm wrong.

18 Mar 2016 17:34:35
They should win and that's why the pressure is on them. They are the poorest celtic team since john barnes era. We must be at the very top of our game no doubt, but they are there for the taking.

18 Mar 2016 17:14:41
Rangers on there day can beat anybody in scotland. but will it be our day. i hope so.

18 Mar 2016 12:26:58
This game tonight is no gimme, Falkirk are the team that have gave us our hardest games, with some good young players, Houston hates us with a passion from his Utd days and will have them wound up, we need an early goal 2-1 Rangers! Thoughts / score .
We're coming be Afraid,

18 Mar 2016 12:33:18
I think we will dismantle them tonight. Only so many times you can withstand the tide, eventually something has to give. I can see us getting 3 or 4 tonight. If not for a dodgy penalty last time and some luck defensively they wouldn't have got the win against us.

18 Mar 2016 12:41:09
Our two Friday games this season have ended 3-1 my fivers on that tonight.

18 Mar 2016 13:01:02
We have the bull by the horns now and can the finish line, going to be difficult for falkirk to get anything from us. 2-0.

18 Mar 2016 16:57:11
I think we will win comfortably. The goals are starting to go in and we are a better side than Falkirk. Last time was a mixture of bad luck, pure finishing and loss of form. Simple really.

18 Mar 2016 17:16:09
Stick my neck on the line here. 5-0 gers. halliday 2 tavernier 1 miller 1 wallace 1.

18 Mar 2016 12:14:39
Scott Allen is really kicking himself that he signed for the tims an is apparently looking out hahaha for there's not a team like the Glasgow Rangers.

18 Mar 2016 12:30:40
Would take him. Made his bed and lye in it and all that. Would be a good fit in our team.

18 Mar 2016 16:57:59
Nope sorry. He has made his bed. A good player but there are better out there.

18 Mar 2016 11:27:31
Anyone have a list of players they would like to see at Ibrox next season? Here is my list, mostly to bolster squad rather than add to first team, I say give the current team its chance to grow even stronger in top flight.

Shinnie- Aberdeen.
Vaulks- Falkirk.
Ball- Tottenham.
Hayes- Aberdeen.
King- Hearts.
Stewart- Dundee.

Plus get Murdoch and Hardie into the rotation.

18 Mar 2016 12:02:28
I would like to see Cummings.

18 Mar 2016 12:33:12
Not sure about hayes but the rest yes. Cummings no chance, cracking player but he's trouble.

18 Mar 2016 13:48:40
I agree about Cummings, he has a mouth on him, plus dealing with Stubbs, I'd rather not. My thoughts with Hayes are he is versatile enough to play down both flanks and even fullback if needed, and seems to be an occasion player, popping up with some timely performances. All of the players here are versatile enough to play 2,3,4 positions really.

18 Mar 2016 15:33:26
I'm looking for above SPFL class in our summer signings. Would like a young LB and RB to cover for our full backs but for the positions badly needing filled like Striker I would like a much higher quality than mentioned in the first post. No idea what the budget is for the summer but if we outlayed a few million on a decent goalscorer we would be unstoppable next year.
Add that to Crooks and Windass and sign Forrester and King and I'd be delighted. I would also like to see Murdoch cover for Crooks and Hardie and Thompson getting some game time in games we are winning, they all look like great players for the future.
My one and only complaint about this year is we didn't get to see those three youngsters in the team at all, as I think this was a good time to blood them.

18 Mar 2016 16:34:24
sign Vaulks for sure. he can play anywhere in the middle of the park and even defence. he can score from outside the box, he could be an outstanding signing.

18 Mar 2016 10:17:23
Aaron mooy Melbourne city honestly worth a look boy is amazing would do us a turn, fits into warburton thinking young powerful and great vision was at st mirren 3 years ago now 26 would only get better under warburton.

It is exciting to speculate about the gems that Warburton, Weir and Mcparland can find at the top English clubs.

These players on loan could do a solid job not just for one season but for two.

Two years is the same as a permanent signing and it costs us nothing and develops strong relationships with Champions League quality teams.

18 Mar 2016 09:20:24
Loan signings over 2 years are good, we can't deny that, however it is annoying knowing that we don't have a squad for the future with these loan signings, also we can't make any sort of profit from them, I'd prefer to develop our own first.

18 Mar 2016 09:40:56
That Jon toral is a class player really impressive.

18 Mar 2016 10:36:47
Alex iwobi started against Barcelona so doubt he will be going on loan anywhere haha.

18 Mar 2016 13:30:24
onlyshowaround understand what your saying but we are where we are. unless we can get more tv, merchandise advertising, putting season ticket money up to the average epl levels we are never going to be able to afford these type of player and that's if their club wanted to sell and the player wanted to come and if it doesn't work out with lone players we can send them back. If we score early tonight 3 nil plus.
