I am sick at the thought of big Alex McLeish heading to Norway and we are left with someone like McCoist. Please mr McColl, King or murray or whoever stop this circus from continuing, get McLeish back to Rangers NOW, and just sack Mccoist he won't hold you to anything, he does not read his contracts (haha)

Is this all you have to say? It's all you ever post about, this time it's Alex Mcleish you want in, next week it will be someone else. Played 12 won 12 oh how that must bug you so I'll say the obvious WHY don't YOU DO WALKING AWAY

Agree0 Disagree0

Mccoist probably didn't read his contract. he's got an agent who deals with that kind of stuff.

Children, played 12 won 12, big deal, we are playing bakers and plumbers and candlestick makers who train sometimes twice a week if they don't get injured at there normal place of work, its all embarrassing, at least McLeish would take us back to the SPL with some dignity and Integrity, things that that McCoist just does not have. Just to clear up a few truths here I have been a supporter for 50 years been everywhere with Rangers, but I want anybody rather than that man in charge of Rangers, my shares cost me at least 78 times more than his. But McLeish has always been my choice.

I totally agree op. i'd love to see mcleish back at ibrox, instead of that self serving leech we have just now!

Hugephil. what wages was big Eck on when he was at Ibrox? How much did he spend when here and would he come back on league 1 wages? Your living in cuckoo land if you think he would come back for small money then develop our youths into a team that could challenge for the spfl in a couple of years, support our team if feels great!

Jyf, mcleish was on 350k in his first year at ibrox. he didn't have much money to spend, having to cut advocaat's expensive squad. he also brought us dado prso and bougherra, both good pieces of business. I think mcleish would jump at the chance to return.

I have been watching with interest the way & style that ex falkirk and now coventry city manager steven pressley has managed young players, I think he's done magnificently well building teams full of youth with hardly any money, his teams play a very pleasing on the eye expansive brand of football, in my opinion pressley is providing to be a very good young manager and in the future a possible rangers manager, what's the opinion of all other 'gers fans on this?BIG BOYDY9!

Yes, he is proving to be a very sufficient manager. He did a great job with Falkirk and is indeed continuing that with Coventry, and under very difficult circumstances too. All credit to him.

As for managing Rangers, possibly in the future, I see no reason why not. I said all along we had the chance to rebuild, move Ally upstairs as an ambassador, start from scratch with a fresh philosophy under a young, vibrant, attack minded manager who has worked to get to that point rather than being handed it. Ally is not and never will be a good manager.

Just as a side not, John Fleck is playing out of his skin in central midfield for Coventry at the moment. I believe we really missed the boat on Fleck, I know he was trouble and probably needed out of Glasgow, but had he been given more chances under Walter and more so Ally in the 11/12 season I think he would have stayed and gone on to be Rangers captain. Real shame as the lad has incredible ability.

@ 2

You're right. How could a young, vibrant, attack minded manager with his own philosophy and track record of bringing through youth players be considered good enough for a job currently occupied by. Ally McCoist?!

I bow to your superior knowledge.
