Griffiths done the same so will he get the same treatment as big Lafferty I think not.

18 Oct 2018 21:27:10
Different associations.

19 Oct 2018 07:14:53
Some people need to stop with this "everyone is against us mentality"
it is the Irish FA stopping Kyle from playing and the SFA have not done the same with the Thumb. Got to be honest I've never heard of any Association doing this in the past but if there is a FIFA ruling allowing them to do it then they are entitled to do so.

19 Oct 2018 08:51:09
What griffiths done is totally different. Big Laf phoned his coach at midnight the day before the meet up to say he wouldn't be coming. Rangers have taken the punishment on the chin so has Laf, so I can only assume that SG won't be happy but understands why it happened. So we move on.

18 Oct 2018 17:54:19
If Lafferty genuinely injured he wouldn't have been fit to play Accies anyway. O'Neil done nothing.
The only thing that has happened is that if Broonie et al try the same thing Gers have genuine reason to make a complaint.

18 Oct 2018 18:32:11
It’s nothing to do with the sfa! So I don’t understand your post unless broonie has switched allegiances to NI.

18 Oct 2018 18:45:24
Broonie retired from international scene.

18 Oct 2018 21:06:50
i don't give a toss about broonie or the thumb.

18 Oct 2018 16:00:25
I seriously think everyone should calm down regarding the Lafferty situation, he didn't play and NI questioned his injury by using the rules, no harm done.0-3 sunday.

18 Oct 2018 22:03:49
JCRFC

How can you say no harm done before the game is played?

18 Oct 2018 15:28:24
Guys and Girls,
It will never cease to amaze me, no matter how little bait is put on the hook the mhanks can't stop themselves chomping on it.
Keep it up folks, its hilarious.

18 Oct 2018 15:53:58
Aberdeen ordered to hand back 5500 tickets, hopefully c card semi final get tickets now.

18 Oct 2018 20:37:12
Typical deluded 'big' club wannabees. 20,000 wasn't enough but 10,000 turned out to be too much.

18 Oct 2018 15:38:20
With regards to the ticket allocation for semi. Would it not have been a better idea of selling sections first. Both teams get 5,000 sell all those and next allocation is released to the team for there fans to buy another 5,000 and so on. If one team get as far as buying 15,000 and has no more buying then there 5,000 section gets handed to the team that still has fans requesting tickets. Seems simple to me. No arguing between teams just fill your allocation then request for more.

18 Oct 2018 16:19:17
We would snap up 45K in the first couple of days leaving 5K of them. Works for me!

18 Oct 2018 21:31:07
Flintytint

There are over 30,000 Rangers fans on the CCCS so why would we only get 5000 to begin with when the powers that be would be aware that they would be sold straight away and the club would want more?

19 Oct 2018 10:01:56
Wouldn't work, as someone has already stated we would sell our 5,000 way before anyone else would be able too so would end up with 90% of the stadium. Maybe i'm old fashioned but to me Semi finals and Finals should be a even amount of fans from both clubs (where possible) however the last few seasons have changed my mind on this.

Ticket allocation for smaller clubs (not Rangers or Celtic) should be decided using a combination of number of season ticket holders and attendances at home games i. e Rangers/ Celtic get a guaranteed 50% then the other clubs allocation is decided based on what i said previously, remaining tickets go to Rangers/ Celtic and they will easily be sold.

19 Oct 2018 10:03:01
Bindo,
Because any semi in a neutral ground deserves 50/ 50 split. However to stop the sheep moaning you have a standard practice, let's not say 5,000 let's say 15,000 that all must be sold by both sides within a set time. If said side doesn't sell there lot it moves to the other team if they are still looking for more. Remember the semi could be between kilmarknock and cally thistle, no offence to them but they aren't going to fill it.

But usually us of celtic are there with far far bigger fan bases. So to stop the moaning from other teams have a standard practice in place. that's the point of the standard practice we all know the rules. just because we could fill the stadium ourselves doesn't mean dot. But for SFA to start guessing how many tickets teams should get seems pointless just have something in place.

19 Oct 2018 17:40:44
i kinda like that idea, its actually quite smart, like release 5,000 each week before the semi final. which would gives fans something to do when the international break is boring. if you haven't sold 5,000 then the just make what tickets you have left up to 5,000.

The only person responsible for the Lafferty debacle is Lafferty himself calling O'neil at midnight to withdraw is not on it's not the way it's done, he should have went thru the club doctor, now he's Damaged Rangers by being unable to play and damaged our reputation a a Professional club by not able to control our players. Of course Lafferty will still pick up his weekly wage packet.

18 Oct 2018 15:38:54
Laff could have handled it better but o'neil's reaction is petty. If a player feels that he is only fit to play a certain amount of games within a period of time then those games should be with his club, they pay his wages, the club is the priority👍.

18 Oct 2018 15:58:56
Agree with most of what your saying there, but we can't be held responsible for what a player does outside of the club . Seems in around about way rangers are getting punished for an action outside our control.

18 Oct 2018 20:36:31
Lafferty was out of order if he pulled out at midnight before game! If I were gerrard I'd be telling him the same thing. If he's not fit or ready to play you make the call when squad is announced not at last kick.

18 Oct 2018 13:42:57
Can’t see much of a transfer fee being involved IF Davis moved to Rangers, at 33 years of age. Also his wages would be inside the bonds of Ibrox, remember this guy is a multi millionaire and has been a Rangers supporter from his mums womb, he loves the club, hope it happens myself.

18 Oct 2018 09:55:22
Steven Davis to re-sign? i'd say the more important question is if or when will we consider serious offers to get Coulibaly, Ejaria, and Kent signed up. Forget about older players who have passed their best and look at these young lads who get me off my seat every week at Ibrox, who are making me sing 'WE'RE ON OUR WAY WE'RE ON OUR WAY' every day at work and who are loving life under Stevie G. Get these boys tied up. That's the best transfer news we can hope for over the next 6 months. Kent btw. player!

18 Oct 2018 12:47:26
I agree I really rate, Davis, great player. But if money is involved i would prefer it was getting used to get coulibaly or kent. Young with sell on value.

18 Oct 2018 14:19:09
I would use the money to get kent and coulibaly before any other signings providing their parent clubs want to do buisness👍.

18 Oct 2018 08:37:46
Worked with a guy from Aberdeen in H&W Drawing Office in Belfast, talking at tea break and he wouldn’t admit to being a supporter of the sheep, he always said he was a Celtic supporter, as you can imagine he didn’t mix well.

cool story bro.
