To all RIFC share holders I support what Dave King is trying to achieve
but a word of caution to everybody whom invested in good faith.
This would wipe out any share value that is remaining.
And most of the SPIVS have cashed in and most of them only paid 1P per share anyway.

Why spend 7k a week on an old striker (Boyd) when we could sign Rory Mcallister from Peterhead? 26 years old and has scored 70 goals in 99 games, would only cost about 1k a week also.

Agree0 Disagree0

How do you work out they paid 1p per share?

Share values

A share will have a nominal or par value: 1p, 10p, £1 or any other sum in any currency. And it is an absolute rule that a share cannot be issued fully paid for anything less than its nominal value – that is, it cannot be issued at a discount. A company cannot issue a £1 share fully paid for 99p or less. A company thus has no ability to issue free shares (but it may buy shares in the market and give them as free shares to employees, say, as part of an incentive scheme).

@1 LeeBoy12 I have just been watching young Kenny McLean score a beautiful goal make a second one and come close with a Beckham-esque shot from his own half. Boyd is yesterday's man and is too old and too expensive. I have no idea if young McLean is out of contract or interested in playing in a league below. But if we have any money and if we can get rid of some of the dross then it is a no brainer getting him instead of Boyd who wanted away for more money.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed039's Note - Nbear, Kenny McLean is out of contract at the end of the season, however being 2 years old, any Scottish side wishing to take him on would need to pay compensation, clubs can either agree on this amount amicabily or if they cant a tribunal decides. Derby have shown an interest in McLean)

Cheers ED English Championship or Scottish Championship? erm- sadly another no-brainer oh well nice thought while it lasted.
Back to my un-paid scouting duties

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed039's Note - Dont know what happened, Kenny McLean is 22 years old not 2 years old)

To AB72 it was well documented that Green and Co only paid 1P per share in comparason to the normal punter who paid 70P at start of the flotation.

Agree0 Disagree0

@ ab72 did they not sell 65m shares but only raised 22m

Op most spivs are still involved they sit hiding in unnamed shareholdings they do this kind of work for a living they won't leave until the carcass is bones they don't leave until the bones are stripped bare ask yourself who gave graham wallace his position now him and his buddy mr nash are the only two bodies behind garrison sucurity skining US

Does anyone think we should sign Mcallister here? it's a no brainier give the guy a chance, what's your thoughts ED.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed039's Note - He has had plenty of offers this last few years but he is studying as well as playing part time, Aberdeen University. Dont know if he is finished but thats why he is where he is, personally wouldnt be my choice, surely there is a youngster that can score goals)

Does anybody think we will be sitting in the boozer even three years from now talking about that unbeaten season in the third flight? Will we hell! If we are back to where we should be and we can only pray that's the case nobody will give a flying kite about it! Ally play the kids ffs us fans will at least cut you a wee bit of slack for now

Believable0 Unbelievable0

We're back in the same dilemma as with the cup games where what's best for Rangers conflicts with what's best for McCoist, if he remains unbeaten it might save his job whereas a defeat might be another nail in his coffin, I'll take the defeat to get him out every time.

Agree0 Disagree0

Do you think you will be in the boozers 3 years from now talking about the youths ally played in the last 3 games?

Agree0 Disagree0

At 2 - completely agree. If we don't watch we will be sitting in the boozer in three years time saying why didn't we do something to save our club, we had ample opportunity. The style of play, McCoists ability and whether we play kids or not is absolutely irrelevent until the club is stable painfull though it is to watch

Agree0 Disagree0

What youths do we have I haven't seen any that excites me why do you rattle on about youths we have no scouting system that was part of the cost cutting I'm not convinced Ally is the man I hope I'm wrong but his task was to get us back to the top league and we are well on the way

Agree0 Disagree0

Jeezo the bears hitting the Clarkston Bud are all posting tonight.
@ 1 agreed I can see you are tea total and sensible
@2 "do you think we will be sitting in the boozer in 3 years time talking about an unbeaten run in the second worst division in Scotland"?
@ 3 you have definitely been hitting the Bud hard because your posts used to be quite sensible.
Let me tell you what is important about the style of play and McCoist's total lack of ability- THE STADIUM IS EMPTYING because unlike 2 who plays football on a Saturday those of us who still attend are attending in fewer and fewer numbers- less income to the club - Doomsday ever closer.
@ 4 change the record lad no scouts blah blah- if McCoist was told about a young McMessie he would still go for an experienced costly journeyman professional.
With fans like you 3 we have no chance you will keep the worst manager to ever manage Rangers in place with his "I never looked at my contract I just signed it".

Agree0 Disagree0

You change the record Nbear, sick of you bitching on here, fans like you are the ones that will drive players away, also andy Robertson is pi*h

Agree0 Disagree0

Nbear. you are entitled to your opinion as we are and understand the frustration but if the stadium is emptying bacause of poor performance or the manager then shame on us. We have no devine right to win or be successful.

Agree0 Disagree0

@3 MOLS, you have completely contradicted yourself. You said whether we play kids or not was irrelevant but then said we that we will be wondering why we didn't do something to save our club. Do you really think the way ahead, and the way to save our club is to pay players £6k, £7k, etc per week who are quite clearly vastly overpaid based on their performance. Or perhaps we could give the youths a chance at a fraction of the cost, youths who will give 100% by the way. Ah forgot, there is a risk the precious/ridiculous (you chose) "undefeated" record is at risk. Seems ally and a few very blinkered supporters are the only ones who are interested in this "record". Unfortunately ally is getting to the stage where he will be remembered for his time as manager rather his time as a player.

Agree0 Disagree0

@7

People are entitled to be entertained for their money and there has been precious little entertainment for over 2 years following Ally's team. The Rangers support has been fantastic over the last 2 years and deserve better than the rubbish being served up. U can't expect people to just turn up each week to watch this rubbish. To criticise them is way out of order

Agree0 Disagree0

@6 You say you are 28 then act like it and not a wee spoiled 8 year old. You don't go to games but your always on here defending your hero Ally.
And if you think Andy Robertson is p'sh then it's netball you should be playing as you know zippo about football. Don't think Jackie McNamarra, Gordon Strachan and the 11,000 United fans at Ibrox agree with you or indeed any open minded adult Gers fan who has seen him play. Just you and your pal Ally.
And wee laddie people can post what they want on here as long as it passes the ED.
And if some of the older overpaid players leave with the manager then my work here is done. You don't need to leave because you don't go in the first place. With "fans" like you how can the club fail?

Agree0 Disagree0

Haha what a post Nbear, actually a do go to games not everyone as yourself am sure? You actually think super would leave because of your comments? You need to keep on working boy!

Agree0 Disagree0

At 8 and 9.

Paying players £7k a week for this league is obviously wrong but not the big issue. The club has generated £40-50m in the last two years and the the players wages apparently have been about £16M where has the rest gone. This is the big issue and until we sort this legalised corruption out nothing at the club will function properly. The unbeaten records is also irrelevant and unimportant.

People are entitled to be entertained but yes but we have bigger problems than being entertained. Whether it is rubbish or not I do expect Rangers supporters to turn up every week if we genuinely are supporters. I am not criticizing any one as everyone has their own opinion and choices to make. I am simply saying there may not be a Rangers to support if we don't start pulling in one direction.

Think how that would make you feel

Agree0 Disagree0

You call what's going on as legalised corruption and u say we should keep turning up. So what you are saying is that we should keep paying our cash so these people can do more legalised corruption? Bit of a confused argument

Agree0 Disagree0

@ Mols I basically agree with what you are saying and that is why 36,000 of us bought season tickets to try and ensure the clubs survival. I nor indeed anybody on here would try and justify the squandering of large sums of money eg Green's £933K or the ridiculous IPO costs. However if they were being entertained more of the 36,000 would still be attending.
We went bust before ignoring what Auchenhowie if used properly could produce so some of us thought surely this time around youth would be a key strand in our policy.
Wallace et all perhaps sit back and leave the stage to McCoist knowing he will trip himself up and keep the focus off their ineptitude. And on here with posters like me they are correct but none of us have missed their role in our continuing struggle. Something will happen to the board/ the club in the coming weeks because supporters haven't forgotten their non governance.
But most of us on here are football fans and we are meant to be a great football club- just not at this moment in time. That it is why the football is in sharper focus than the governance.

The man got pelters for losing to part timers in the league last season this season he's not been beaten in the league with four to go and he's still getting pelters. he's damned if he does & damned if he doesn't. surprise's me the amount of fans who don't care if we go thru league undefeated or not I for one want to win every time we play no matter the opposition or the competition.

Can you please give me your address so I can send some biscuits to your guide dog!!
Ths year will not go down in Rangers history as something special.
We are at best grinding out results with no development of skill or introduction of a youth policy to secure our future.
Ally is whoever gives him a big salary's lapdog.
Time for change.
Dounebear

Agree0 Disagree0

Think you are missing the point r. f.

I can't think of a supporter who doesn't want their team to win every game they play. The league is won, finished, done and dusted. What better opportunity to play the youngsters to give them experience, win, lose or draw. Personally, now that the league is won, I'd rather watch a team of younsters trying their heart out and lose than watch same old, same old overpaid big time Billy's serve up the dross which they have done all season. All just to feed ally's ego.

Agree0 Disagree0

@1, that joke about the biscuits just made my day. Laughs like that make supporting Rangers worthwhile and this site a great one.

Can't believe some of the rubbish regarding SDM being allowed back near Rangers. Only a fool would even think that would be possible. All the old guard are turning up as the club nears a return to normal duties next year.

This foolish talk of Dave King and David Murray must be left behind. A changing of the guards is needed. Not more spivs and untrustworthy dinosaurs. The fans will have to buy out the current board our current share price resembles the Glesga gless cheque best time to do it shares for season ticket money is the way to go.
