Ed, could you run a poll to see who our fans would rather we meet in Scottish Cup final if we beat that mob on Sunday?

On 1 hand you have the chance to beat Aberdeen and get the last laugh if they manage to get 2nd in league.

On the other hand a chance to get revenge on Hibs for last seasons cup final with the added bonus of Lenny being the manager.

Obviously we will know outcome of their game before ours so just wondered what our fans would prefer.

Scottish Cup Poll

Hibs everyday of the week

20 Apr 2017 11:42:46
We won't be there, but if by some chance we beat Celtic then I want hibs.

20 Apr 2017 13:24:45
Would love to ram it up Hibs and Lennon by beating them in the final

20 Apr 2017 16:56:52
obviously hibs easier game and revenge would be so sweet

A lot of talk about naismith coming back in the summer. I know A lot people don't like him because he left but if he does join what position do people think he is best?

I like him through the middle behind a striker but also think a fit Josh windass will prove to be an excellent player so maybe naismith would play out wide.

19 Apr 2017 15:47:27
Windass has been very disappointing he showed a few signs of what he can do hopefully he can come onto a game and be a big player for us but so far not convinced

{Ed039's Note - he probably could have benefited from a loan similar to Crooks)

19 Apr 2017 16:26:45
I like him at Norwich and nowhere near the club. Remember this is a guy who held and press conference to tell everyone that the club died. Do we really want those kind of people at the club.

19 Apr 2017 18:58:33
He's a footballer not a lawyer. Who cares what has been said, they're not exactly known for their brains.

19 Apr 2017 19:06:52
Windass doesn't look interested to me. With any luck pedro will get more out of him next season. As for naismith he's probably best behind the striker

19 Apr 2017 19:28:22
Did Richard Gough not say something similar about us not being the same club?

19 Apr 2017 20:00:46
Good one to kick off the post Cee with "there's a lot of talk about Naismith. " Haven't heard or read a single word until you mentioned it. Got to laugh at how to start a rumour.

19 Apr 2017 20:24:29
Cee

Don't understand your comment about him not being a lawyer. What's that got to do with what he did and said? He deserted the club then had the audacity to hold a press conference. Now is career has taken a nose dive and some want him back.

19 Apr 2017 21:56:13
Fraser the rumour has been doing the rounds for some time a dunno what truth is in it but it's been going for a wee while now

20 Apr 2017 00:07:30
A few words regarding any possibility of bringing stevie naismith back to glasgow rangers - No thank you!

20 Apr 2017 01:02:39
Personally I would have him back, he is better than anything we have up front at present and if he can help us regain the league that is all that matters.

20 Apr 2017 11:36:59
I've heard it's already a done deal. He didn't "hold a press conference", the club did and put him out there. Nobody had a clue what was happening at the time and he said a couple of words big deal. Walter Smith wasn't exactly saying we were the same club at the time either was he.

Naismith is better than any player at the club right now and that includes the 2 players on loan.

20 Apr 2017 11:48:43
I care and I would never support him, there's plenty of other footballers out there, I totally understand why he left, but that press conference topped everything for me.

20 Apr 2017 17:03:07
bengy, can i ask you something mate?
do you like kenny miller? would you like to see him here next season as well or would you rather he never came back at all?

as footballers do things and say things but i'm sure you have never said anything you regretted later. kenny miller didn't just join the manky mob, he kissed the badge when he scored against us so its a bit hypocritical of people like yourself that have double standards.

my standard is if they would improve my team then sign them if they don't then don't. but naisy has been a top player throughout his career and has handled himself very well all things considered.

22 Apr 2017 10:00:56
Out of all the players he would be the one i would most dislike coming back. Firstly The guy is a ned. Secondly the wheels fell off our season

19 Apr 2017 14:30:26
I would like a pole on who actually backs Dave king to succeed at rangers . If possible.

{Ed033's Note - Dave King Voting Poll.

19 Apr 2017 22:26:57
Why would any 1 back against your chairman succeeding if he doesn't were back in problems again. i don't see anyone with money banging on the door.

19 Apr 2017 23:55:38
Thanks ed033 .

20 Apr 2017 01:18:31
It depends on the definition of succeeding; succeeding for me is providing the manager with what is necessary in order to give him the best chance possible to return Rangers to the top of the SPL and win the treble then going on to seriously compete in Europe.

Equally if success if defined as securing a new merchandise agreement with Sports Direct, a new major shirt sponsorship deal and a new deal with PUMA or an alternative manufacturer this close season and ploughing all the related funds into bringing in quality players, then

If that is the definition then I have grave doubts that King will be a success. if on the other hand it is that he will sell the club on to someone else then I suspect that he will be a success.

We need serious investment in the summer.

20 Apr 2017 11:53:49
Yes we need investment but him and the rest of the board have brought stability to the club, also the decisions they make put rangers first, unlike the crooks beforehand, I get it that not everyone supports him, that up to them.

20 Apr 2017 17:06:16
king gets my vote as doubting his ability or intention gets us fans nowhere .
the guy has come into the club and some blame him for what he inherited here, but as far as i can tell he wants the best for the club and is trying everything to get us back to the top.

people are unrealistic about investment and wanted him to put 30 million in in one season even thought he was talking about a 5 year plan not one and also said he needed to update Auchenhowie and ibrox which has been done, so yes its frustrating seeing our great club sitting so far behind Celtic, but don't blame the board, they got 11 new players last year and backed a manager that proved to weak for the spl.

we didn't spend millions as we don't have millions and that's against our signing policy which is to get them cheap and sell on for more.

19 Apr 2017 08:43:37
Mcliesh had reservations about taking the rangers job. Don't worry I had more reservations about you taking the job. I think it is a bit snidy so called rangers men coming out and putting there two bobs worth in of negative crap. I'm glad we have pedro he has changed the whole outlook without buying anyone so think what it could be like once he brings in some new players. Pedro is one of us now so get behind him. So Mcliesh, McCoist, ferguson and the likes sit your mouths!

19 Apr 2017 09:42:13
I genuine think were only.3 players short a good team. big centre half. (His godson) creative centre mid and 30 goal a season striker if we keep current crop only letting couple leave

19 Apr 2017 15:02:59
gary I've not seen what, coist has said about pedro.

19 Apr 2017 15:18:03
to me it seems there is a lot of stuff going on behind the scenes at our club that we the fans do not no of. And a lot of the problems are related to king.

As for being 3 players away from a good team certainly not the squad needs overhauled with players coming in and going out 7 or 8 players are needed.

19 Apr 2017 15:23:07
We need more than 3 mate. we need 2 strikers, 2 wingers, 2 cm's and a cb We will lose hyndman and toral. We might need more. We will/ should get rid of Kiernan, halliday, senderos, ohal, Forrester. We could also lose miller and hill and we could get bids for tav and waghorn.

19 Apr 2017 15:35:05
How do you know his godson is even good? We need 2 centre halfs better than Wilson and Bates.

19 Apr 2017 15:36:59
wasnt mcliesh in the papers saying he would come in in any capacity, now he is saying he was offered but turned us down get a grip alex we didn't want you and now u have spat the dummy out. was only a good manager because of the team he inherited

19 Apr 2017 15:36:42
Why do fans moan about never getting told anything then when we do hear things people criticise them lol. I'm glad when they let us know things.

19 Apr 2017 15:47:25
Sour grapes from Alex lol

19 Apr 2017 19:05:10
Sounded a bit bitter to me, expect a bit better from big eck than that

19 Apr 2017 21:57:33
Would folk stop saying the centre half is his "godson" because he isn't!

20 Apr 2017 01:22:29
McLeish, and Ferguson would have been a disaster back at the club and McCoist proved how poor a manager he was when he was at the Club so I wouldn't give much respect to what any of them have to say.

As for being only three players short, I reckon that we are five or six short and we need to be talking about quality, not more of the same.

20 Apr 2017 11:56:22
Possibly more than 6 Tom

20 Apr 2017 17:07:25
disaster mccoist no mate, not having that. he stayed when no one else would. he was our pr guy, our scout and the clubs spokesperson. i think winning 3 out of 4 ain't bad for a guy with a brand new team of youngsters and he was mistreated by a lot of the supporters and by the club .

im not saying his tactics where brilliant because they where terrible, but i wouldn't judge him on our time here.
