Seen a post on the Rangers first Facebook page that they might open ibrox to fans who never got tickets for the semi final game that would be an excellent idea.

01 Apr 2016 18:53:19
I haven't seen anything but agree that would be a magic idea.

01 Apr 2016 19:12:52
Doubt that will happen but any extra revenue for the club is fine by me + 2 full houses for the game, class.

01 Apr 2016 13:16:39
I just read there that they have sold 41'000 tickets for next sunday's cup final, and they're hoping to sell the rest of the tickets within the next few days, which will be up to 46'000. no matter what anybody says about this cup final, it just shows what great support we have been to the club we all love, people say oh its a diddy cup, well try telling that to 46'000 supporters heading there, its going to be a great game and a wonderful atmosphere, thanks to Peterhead football club for agreeing to play the game there, its a chance for everybody at there club to have a big day at the national stadium as well, and they deserve it, and also even knowing they where only getting 3500 tickets allocated to their fans, they still used there head on this occasion, so thanks very much to Peterhead fc for that, celtic v ross county semi final, about 17'000 there, the diddy cup 46'000. there's the difference lads.

01 Apr 2016 13:47:31
Nice post, part of the journey.

01 Apr 2016 14:11:02
Yep nice post Colin. As one of us has eluded to with his moniker, we are the only show around!

01 Apr 2016 15:34:05
Colin McD bang out the money there sir, top post

I put a post on earlier but it has not made it ED?

basically saying similar to you but I was having a bit more of a dig at Selik lol! (Imagine that COLDO)

We are the No1 Team in Scotland, with the best fans in the UK hands down. Bring on Selik a truly hope that we smash them, if we turn up with a defence then am sure we will be winners in the Semi, but we must defend, If not then they will win via default lol!

Any will be a good day for the fans against Peterhead, they should be praised for agreeing to go to hampden like you pointed out CMCD. Lower league trophy or not, the fans and the players will want to win it, treble is on lol! Have that Stubbsy!

01 Apr 2016 16:13:22
I'm confused if you TRULY believe you are the biggest and the best show in town, why do you always compare yourselves to the mighty Celtic? Oh and we will never know how many fans Celtic would take to a petrofact cup final ( lol ) because it's only for lower league clubs 😉.

01 Apr 2016 16:40:29
precious your on saying your bit defending celtic on a rangers webpage, so your on here comparing celtic to rangers lol well you said a good point there about the lower leagues and youse won't be there, true, and we'd never know, but looking at 2 so called bigger clubs fighting it out for a place in final in a so called bigger competition a few weeks back, the self-confessed best fans in the world, we're on the road again lol and all that dung, 17'000 was there, so there's the nailer there big fella. we're happy to follow our club everywhere, we don't need to tell everybody we're the best fans in the world, attendances and facts will point that out for us.

01 Apr 2016 17:02:37
You're right precious. We ain't the biggest and best show in town as u put it. We are the ONLY SHOW IN TOWN.

01 Apr 2016 17:19:55
You imagine a lot of things m3lvo 😉.

01 Apr 2016 17:48:19
It's funny how the only show in town attracts all and sundry. Why? You are constantly on a Rangers site precious. Why don't you field that one?

01 Apr 2016 17:55:45
Precious is not only precious about all things Rangers he's one of the obsessed.
Keep looking over that shoulder precious 55 is on the horizon.

01 Apr 2016 18:06:36
Again seeker you think that's an original question seeker, I get that one every week, lol 😁 , because there is a fair amount of rubbish spouted on here dressing up as fact so I like to offer the alternative view, for example your all high fiving about 46000 going to your first cup final at the National stadium , big deal fans always come crawling out the woodwork when wee teams make the final, hibs v county had a full house at Hampden a couple of weeks ago, does that make them the biggest teams in Scotland? Walsall and Bristol city got 72000 for last years johnstones paint final, does that make them the biggest teams in England? Plus I enjoy the banter 😉.

01 Apr 2016 18:42:30
Can this guy not see that he is defeating his own arguement by complaining on a Rangers forum that we are not the only show in town?

The Walsall and Bristol City analogy is baffling too. I don't think the reason people are saying that Rangers are (and they are) the biggest club in Scotland because of the potential attendance for a cup final. It goes way deeper than that.

01 Apr 2016 18:51:06
you're good craic with some of your posts precious and sometimes worth a read but why oh why are YOU on our page if we ain't the one and ONLY show worth talking about. c'mon over and ditch your green and white for the bang on blue of the bears. by the look of things you're pretty close anyway with your obsession with all things bear related. c'mon over to the only show in town!

01 Apr 2016 19:01:28
Precious: You obviously can't count if you think it's our first final.

01 Apr 2016 19:04:26
Precious you've come out the woodwork with your "first national cup final" comment.
Suggest a trip to the downmarket glasgow sides page where we have our own page incidentally! and you can gush about all things Rangers and get as you put it "high fives" from all the others obsessed about our so called new club.

01 Apr 2016 19:26:12
Actually jfc the entire original post was roundly devoted to buming about the amount of fans going to the game, you should try reading other peoples posts not just mine . Also I felt the johnstones paint trophy analogy was very apt as it was about the amount of fans going to the final of a lower league competition again what the op was all about .

01 Apr 2016 19:41:31
Tuesday 7th August 2012 Rangers v East Fife 43000 match delayed due to the crowd. So your argument about supporters going to cup finals is blown out the water!
Like the original poster said "only show in town".

01 Apr 2016 19:59:47
Pb1 so where were the other 3000? my god I can't believe you take a tounge in cheek comment so seriously, lol . Calm down son it's only a game of football.

01 Apr 2016 21:52:36
Banter precious! Don't get your panties in a bunch.
Think you'll find should have been another 7 odd thousand anyway if your going to number crunch.

Come back tomorrow night when we have won our "little league" and hearts have blown your title aspirations a out the water and we can talk about football.

02 Apr 2016 01:16:00
Precious Just admit that the Mighty Glasgow Rangers are the best team youv ever seen😁 your always oan this site ya cheeky wee Blue Nose😁.

02 Apr 2016 08:46:15
PRECIOUS

Cheltics attendances have been shocking for a team at the top of their league. If they improve next year do you think there is a case for thinking that its more an anti-Rangers statement than for their own club?
That would indicate how bigoted the majority of its fans are or at least the number between this seasons and next seasons attendances.
OR
will they stay away in greater numbers now they realise that RFC are the main club in Scotland by any standard?

01 Apr 2016 20:36:47
Yip colin mcdonald that's why we're the biggest football club in scotland and the only show in town and I don't care what the eastenders think because deep down they also know we're the premier club in scottish football, as our song goes to opposing fans, 'you're only here to see the rangers'!

01 Apr 2016 07:40:47
The talk has started already about who we might and might not bring in during the summer. Anya, Morrison and even John Terry. I think lessons have been learned about huge salaries and transfer fees. Wouldn't it be great if Warburton continues as he has started and he brings in more players like Waghorn, Tavernier and Forrester and bring on our youngsters too. A Rangers team with no foreign players and the majority Scottish would be great! I think Hibs will slip up (again) against St Mirren tomorrow and we'll win the league at Starks Park.

01 Apr 2016 10:21:13
Plenty of young foreign talent out there too that shouldn't be ignored. The further the net is cast the better chance we have of finding the next gems. Quick point tho, for those who discourage lower league english signings, dele alli to spurs from mk dons, believe league 1 was there status at the time.

01 Apr 2016 11:40:42
There is more chance of us signing messi than john Terry the wages he would command would be in the 100 grands a week. Nice to see the goalie hasn't lost his sense of humour.

01 Apr 2016 12:27:12
Hooly - Messi seems more realistic to me too! he's only on around 300k a week more than Terry. Definitely not the best comparison, but hey it's 1st April.

01 Apr 2016 15:47:14
Ya the 150grand a week Terry is on would be no problem for us kk11.

01 Apr 2016 15:47:50
I would rather Celtic sign Anya. He has no pace, can't beat a man and final ball is pathetic so much more suited to them than us.

01 Apr 2016 15:58:37
Hooly - I think you missed the point I was making, I'm fully aware that we'd struggle to pay 150k a week, slightly paradoxical. Mind you replacing Nicky Clark with John Terry is an ideal like for like swap. Similar wages too probably!

01 Apr 2016 15:59:22
Anya has no pace? Your having a laugh mate he's rapid and would be one of the best players in their team.

01 Apr 2016 16:47:30
There's more chance of you signing Enya than Anya.

01 Apr 2016 17:20:34
JohnJag

What do you base that on?

01 Apr 2016 17:40:26
Rangers are my team and under no circumstances would log into any celtic chat room to read posts let alone comment. Those fans from the other side must be worried the mighty gers are back and will be winning leagues very soon to be wondering what's being discussed by the greatest supporters in the world.

01 Apr 2016 18:10:52
Or we enjoy the banter and like to give an alternative view, using your theory does that mean the countless mention of Celtic by posters on here is explained by the fact they are scared of us?

01 Apr 2016 18:48:09
Precious, I don't think many people view it as banter. You come across as deliberatley confrontational and somewhat annoying.

Hows that for banter?

01 Apr 2016 20:36:21
Sorry seaofibrox I stand by my statement Anya's guff.

01 Apr 2016 22:42:19
Boffo. I base it on reality.

01 Apr 2016 20:50:15
Precious,
there's a huge difference to what we are doing and what you do.
We are talking about our teams affairs on our own forum. That happens to involve a semi against you's and our chances of winning our league back from you's next year.
You on the other hand have went to the trouble to create an identity on our forum, and then comment on everything we say bar none. Add that to the fact you have a dedicated page to us on your own page and I think it's safe to say you might have a fascination with us. I don't blame you, looking around that empty stadium on a Saturday must get lonely.

01 Apr 2016 07:36:52
MW should not be complain about
hampden as he demanded the game the
petrofac final goes there and to compare hampden with Wembley
unbelievable the money that's ie English game and most tournaments
there national team qualify where as Scotland are lucky if they mentioned since the 1970
London calling mister warburton.

01 Apr 2016 08:17:51
Bowmac

What a load of crap! It doesn't cost that much in relative terms to pay for a decent surface and in the last couple of years a new pitch has been laid at least twice. There is no excuse for a poor surface and Hampden should be the same as Wembley. As for Scotland hardly being in a tournament since 1970 think you'll find they have been in plenty of World Cups 74, 78, 82, 86, 90 and 98 not to mention the euros in 92 and 96.

01 Apr 2016 08:25:00
Bowmac, All he has said is the pitch isn't that great, and he is right. Queens park should not play at hampden every 2nd week. he didn't compare them at all, what he said was if you had a team playing at Wembley every 2nd week that the pitch would be priority over the team that uses it. the fact we lay a new pitch and played on it 5 days later is laughable.

01 Apr 2016 08:33:31
Bowmac we may not have performed on the big stage since 98, but when we went to the world cup in 1990 it was our 5th in a row and at the time only Germany, Brazil and Italy had done that.

01 Apr 2016 10:23:41
Honestly? How can we market our product on a surface that could graze cows. Get the pitch sorted. Its basics 😩.

01 Apr 2016 16:45:18
my point was we asked the game to played at hampden
and its Peterhead we should be able to play our second string and still win at least we would have in the good old days
the bookies will give you 1/ 16 on rangers winning
it sounds like a done deal to me.
