I'll be honest, ah don't know the first thing about takeovers or debentures but I do agree that I also fear a celtic situation if McCoist becomes manager. He has zero experience of managment at any level and had shown no inclination towards it till his beloved Rangers came calling, our lesson was learnt with John Greig.

Just some random managers all in Allys age group but one vital ingredient missing, experience of running a club, never mind a world renowned one like the mighty Gers. No point of WS moving upstairs to mentor things, who would have the final say if WS disagreed with Ally? Hopefully the take over happens soon and any money isn't squandered through McCoist lack of experience in transfer market/day to day running and dealing with different cultures/egos/youth players while handling the pressure of being THE man at our great club

Oh well I guess it must be true if it comes from this source as I'm sure that she is a trusted advisor to Whyte & Ellis. It's not a case of truth but rather is the rumour credible! I think we can draw our own conclusions there
No but she is trusted (ahem) by the Rangers No.1 and if there was any serious talk of him leaving I have a sneaky suspicion he would discuss it with her?? And as a major/senior member of the squad he will have some inkling of what is going on at the club. Obviously you must be involved in the take over discussions so why not ask Craig Whyte why he is willing to bankroll an untried manager after what has happened across the city. If the take over is successful does Whyte not have the right to employ whomever he wants to, or in your highly empowered position is there a clause in the contract stating McCoist MUST be the next manager or the deal is null and void.
That she may know what is going on within her sphere of influence is accepted. However given that Whyte & Ellis have not yet spoken to the Rangers Chairman their views on who may or not be the next manager will not be something that she has any knowledge of, which is the point I'm making. You appear unable to accept that the thoughts of Whyte & Ellis will be their own at present other than with trusted advisors. As to the next Manager I'm personally not convinced about McCoist however Walter, who knows a bit more about the job than me (and possibly you) appears to think he would do a half decent job.

The films are not suitable for children, like most of the bile spewed by any hate filled bigotted ape army. Education of the young is the only way to rid Scotland of sectarianism, on both sides. Celtic are trying but need to try more, Rangers don't seem to take it as a serious problem unless threatened with sanctions. Hopefully the new owners will tackle the issue and try to make the atmosphere more family friendly. Why did Rangers stop playing Simply the Best? Beacause it was twisted to fit sectarian lyrics. McCoists time on A Question of Sport gave him a good grounding for managing one of Europes top clubs. In fact f*** it. . . . . .give him a knighthood in the New Years houners list! And working with the "Silver Fox" certainly made Alex Ferguson the manager he is, after the dizzy heights he took Everton to!
