Rangers accounts show debt of £14m (don't know where this has come from as Whyte took on seperate £18m debt from Lloyds Bank). Whyte has a security in the sum of £18m over Rangers for this debt he took on, in the event the big tax case is lost. Around £4m of cash frozen by HMRC and former directors. And all this without the threat of the large tax case, which if Rangers lose, would be £49m.

Things just seem to be getting worse, and now the so called saviour is geing investigated.

Also, it's very worrying that Ranger's auditors have refused to sign off the companies accounts.

Worrying times ahead.

Believable3 Unbelievable0

Debt of £14m its net debt over the season so far and the net debt lower then it normally is its to do with the income and expenditure by the end of the season it will be around a mill or 2 unless we lose the tax case of course

Agree0 Disagree0

The £14m debt is not over the season so far. This £14m debt is for the year ended 30 June 2011 so does not include any trading for this season.

Agree0 Disagree0

Maybe you should learn to read its net debt m8 look it up

Agree0 Disagree0

So the net debt if £14m. What is your point?

Good to see the trip to Hamburg went well, you are now officially the laughing stock of Germany as well as here.Take a bow Sally,Take a bow..... Not staying over..... "Money saved on a hotel"...... "42 passengers cram into a taxi to share the fare"..... "Our 3rd team could have beat them"....just some of the quotes from the Germans about your great club! www.bild.de/sport/fussball/spielbericht/sieg-ueber-glasgow-21285576.bild.html

Believable2 Unbelievable1

I'm not too bothered by how our reserves get on in a friendly. How to Celtic get on?
"AS were highly critical of Georgios Samaras labelling the attacker "a waste of talent", adding: “The Greek striker has everything minus interest, as if he doesn’t like football.”

“Kayal, you almost have to lie on the ground to achieve not clear the ball, and Forster, graceful as an elephant.”

GovanFR

Agree1 Disagree0

Nice cut and paste lazy boy. That was a Europa League game, you got to a final playing the worst football in recent memory, look at the Hoops page to see the garbage the Sherminator is spouting about playing good football. You went on a money spinning friendly becazuse you had no european games and penny pinched to maximise the income and couldnt afford to stay over! must have made a fortune there. They quotes were all in the spanish press, read what the actual hamburgers said about your team, atletico coach praised us,hamburgers said it was a waste of time.FACT LMAO

Agree0 Disagree0

Except it isn't fact is it? It is clear what the Spanish press thought of Celtic, an your goalkeeper who the amazingly summarized after seeing him in only two games! We sent the reserves to play a friendly, if our second team is worse than Hamburgs second team so be it. Your first team is heading out of Europe, unless you get put back in again.
Sion are coming to beat you again.

GovanFR pal,it is a fact.Hamburg said it was a waste of their time playing the match, sad day for us mate but it is true.

Has Lafferty done more for Rangers than Davis? Interesting comment I seen earlier, not sure though!?!

Miko

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Has Davis and lafferty got more league title medals than the whole Celtic than put together?

Sorry, what that was?...er sorry, was that what....er, er, aaarrrgh, you've done it to me now. Forget it, you win!

Good chat Percy! lol

Miko

Agree0 Disagree1

Its a fact btw. lafferty was nothing short of sensational during the run in last season, his goals on the final days of the 2 previous season also helped up clinch titles. these performances stick in my mind. apart from a goal in an old firm game a few years back im struggling to find moments that davis has a similar impact as big laff. just my opinion tho. j1985

Your team being 4 pts behind the champions? The 4-2 pumping at ibrox earlier in the season? Your captain sh####g himself infront of 25,000 fans at parkhead the other night? Agree1 Disagree0

I've been worried since the first day Mr tight took over, been trying to tell people on here for over 6 months, just got told I wasn't a real fan, it's to late to get worried Mr tight can do anything he wants now

Agree0 Disagree2

I don't know any Rangers fans that call him that, sure your not a Celtic fan? If you have been telling us for so long why not put a name at the end of your posts so we know who is saying it. Or are you a Celtic fan as I suspect?

Time to clear a few things up...
Lafferty is a sh#t? I cant believe some folk. was he useless during the run in last season? His hatrick at rugby park, his freekick at tyncastle when he just came off the benchat 1 nil down, final day of the 08/09 and 09/10 seasons, his goal at pittodrie a few weeks back?? I could go on. edu, mcculloch, broadfoot all get it, now big lafferty's turn.
"mr tight"?? Who is this guy who keeps posting s##t about our chairman? Has he had a fire sale as expected? No. is stadium repairs high on the agenda? Yes. do the bank have a major influence with the day to day running of the club? No. have we tied down our best players on long term deals and added to the squad some new signings? Yes. so please tell me what else the guy has to do in order to get fans behind him?
The tax case. does anyone know whats going on? No. pure speculation. Whatever happens rangers will never go out of business. a club the size of ours and with the fan base we have, would never disappear. Administration? Maybe. a points penalty would follow, our best players would be sold, we'd struggle for a good while but we'd get through it. that's worst case. On the other hand we pay a fine to hmrc, sell a player to cover it and carry on.
one defeat!! A defeat that was bound to come sooner rather than later and all of a sudden the players are s##t, the footballs s##t, allys not upto it, mr whytes to blame!!
J1985

Believable10 Unbelievable4

Whats your point m8 ?

Agree0 Disagree2

Thanks for that someone talking sence for once.

Agree4 Disagree1

My point is clear if you read my post. lafferty has done more for us than for instance steve davis. yet the big man is labelled sh#te. whyte gets stick for no reason and im fed up hearing pure guess work about this tax case. j1985

Agree6 Disagree1

Sense in who's eyes? I think he's talking pure mince

Agree2 Disagree5

Well said mate!

StevenA

Agree4 Disagree0

On what part is he talking "mince"?

Agree2 Disagree1

J1985 Lafferty is a poor excuse for a footballer.I'm Blue to the core mate but he is one of the worst players I have seen pull on the Gers strip. He is our own version of sammyarse but a better strike rate, sammyarse at least puts in effort for that mob.Lafferty goes into hiding when the going gets tough and if you think he is better than naismith your wrong,5 goals so far this season is a very poor return but if you take off your tinted specs you will see he has never been a goalscorer,so what is he?

Agree3 Disagree4

What else could Mr tight have done? Let me think? Sign hemad, conway, miller, danns, dutiful boy, 7 failed bids for goodwillie etc, etc instead of buying all the junk wr have signed

Agree0 Disagree3

Lafferty is complete dump. If we're reliant on him for goals in the near future we're doomed.

Agree1 Disagree2

Never at any point did i say he was even on par with naismith. every supporter, even celtic wouldn't argue that naisy was head and shoulders above any player in the spl before the injury. he goes hiding? Surely if that was the case he wouldn't have put in the performances he did that i mentioned in my initial post. as for blue tinted glasses, well here goes. davis is over rated and is the biggest sh#tebag of a captain i've ever seen at ibrox, wylde has no final ball, whittaker can't defend as a full back and healy/kerkar are a waste of a wage. as for the failed bids for players in the summer...conway or naisy? Goodwilliehad too much baggage, hemed was offered a better package, danns was a complete unknown and how many times do you want to pay a signing on fee to miller? Goian, bocanegra, bartley all look like good business, mckay, bedoya and wallace...jury still out. Anyway i've already had this argument with you. j1985

Agree1 Disagree0

Goodwillie had to much baggage, why the 7 failed bifd then? If we had conway we wouldn't be missing naisy as much plus conway can play right side and left side, danns a unknown, who heard of mckay, goian, USA boy, ortiz?

Agree0 Disagree1

There is no argument ally gave tight a A list of transfer targets and he never delivered 1. Hung ally out to dry

Agree1 Disagree0

Goian - romanian international. CL and UEFA cup expierence.
Mckay - aussie international and domestic player of the year. captained brisbane to first ever domestic title.
Neil Danns????
Would conway have been happy to be a bit part player at rangers or a first team regular at cardiff? Goodwillie was a shambles i admit but i do recall whyte clearly stating he was a million pound player and wouldn't pay over the odds. Agreed with houston saying goodwillie going to glasgow wouldn't be a good move given his previous.
j1985

Agree0 Disagree0

Im rangers through and through and your wrong pal. Lafferty is absolute pish.

Agree0 Disagree0

I too am rangers through and through, and i say lafferty is a good player. i've given examples of why i think he's a good player. please provide similar examples to backup your views. J1985

Agree1 Disagree0

49 goals in 229 games, nuff said. He's muck mate and injury prone. get him out the door

Agree0 Disagree0

36 goals in 131 app for rangers, in all competitions, considering he was used wide left for a long period i'd say that's a very decent return, that includes sub app as well btw. What do you think?? J1985

Agree0 Disagree0

Comes alive at the end of season games what good is that . have you thought that might be because at the end of season most of the mid table teams are on there holidays mentally as they have already secured their place in the spl. give it up lafferty is pi5h. ask yourself one question honestly if he was a celtic player would you fear him or slag him .

Agree0 Disagree0

Thats right teams give up once top 6 is established eh? Absolute disgrace to suggest that. Big Laff was immense during the run in, give him some credit ffs. would i fear him if he played for celtic? probably not, but i haven't feared a player at celtic since larsson, have you? name the last player that either celtic or rangers would fear from the opposing team since larsson?? Look fact is lafferty could score 35 goals this season, score in every old firm game, win player of the year and guys like you would still give him stick. End of argument! J1985

Does this 'Miko' think he's funny? I was going to say we should try and get his attention at the next OF game, but there's no way this guy's ever been to a game of football in his life. His knowledge of the game wouldn't fill the back of a postage stamp.

Hmm, has Craig Whyte breached this rule by any chance?

Believable2 Unbelievable2

I agree with 5 year rule, whyte should be investigated. Also Whyte must be first person in history to sue BBC for Telling the Truth ha ha, can't wait to see THIS coming to the Courts ha ha
By the way in case you bears do not know according to the Oxford English dictionary a billion is a Thousand Million pounds, other billionaires with this sort of cash have laid out £40m+ on managers and paying them off, why cant "billionaire" Whyte raise these funds out of his vast vast wealth we all hear about to settle tax debt? Debt down to 14 million in June, do Mr tight bought the greatest football club in the world for 14 and not 18 million

Believable1 Unbelievable0

That's net debt eejit. By Whyte not paying his bills as they fall means he has more cash available thus making the net debt appear to have shrunk. If Whyte (after stating his net debt to the media) then pays those bills that are due it will then push the net up and give a genuine reflection of the sh*t the gers are in.

In regards to fans paying to clear the debt, why should we? We clear the debt and Mr tight gets a massive club like rangers for free then in a few years sells the club for a healthy profit, how much of his profit will he share with the fans when he sells? Nothing

Believable4 Unbelievable0

For a moment there I thought it was fergus ;the bunnet; McCann you were talking about and not Craig Whyte - but credit to wee fergus he got the horde to part with money on more share issues than the post office - it depends on what the fans will get if they donate - like can we buy the pitch or a stand or get a percentage of the club - see Germany for a blue print of how the fans can play a huge part in their clubs future
