Check Wales out! Amazing game to watch, Robson-kanu is not going to remain a free agent after these games.

01 Jul 2016 22:23:59
Doubt we could remotely afford the wages he'll now command.

01 Jul 2016 23:38:26
I am sure if he can keep up that effort he will get a great deal somewhere.

01 Jul 2016 23:56:21
For all the ones that want us to spend spend spend, Wales just showed you that a team that works hard can deliver, they played against the most expensive team in the euros and were brilliant .
So to all the guys that want us to spend and go back to the dark days let MW do his job .

02 Jul 2016 08:41:14
I agree with what you're saying but remember they have one of the best players in the world right now, and usually players show more heart for the national team than they do for club, unless your a scottish or english player.

01 Jul 2016 21:18:15
We need to sign that Robson-Kanu! Free Agent!

01 Jul 2016 21:25:45
Get him signed up now. He has ran the Belgian defence ragged all night.

01 Jul 2016 21:38:26
A said a couple weeks ago we should go for him. think we may have left it too late now. am sure there will be lots of teams interested now.

01 Jul 2016 22:03:16
Think we have found our striker that would do a job for us. pity he'll be sought after by half of Europe now. MW needs to pull a white rabbit from that magic hat of his and set McParlane on his way to sort this signing out now. Add Kanu. add 55.

02 Jul 2016 15:59:51
You never know maybe we already have spoken to him, i'm sure we have had words with a few players at the euros. We will see how the next week plays out.

01 Jul 2016 21:15:04
well if we was to try get kanu think might might have to fight off a few teams he has played good in this game. amd great turn and finish he would fit in our team just what we need to finish the team.

01 Jul 2016 20:40:15
I think Robson Kanu would be a good signing for us I think he'd do the job up in Scotland.

01 Jul 2016 20:46:36
Bang on Kenny, he's strong and quite quick.

01 Jul 2016 20:47:44
Certainly looks a player.

01 Jul 2016 21:01:40
Agreed but there's been plenty of nay sayers about the lad on here lately. I hope he's the signing we r all waiting for. Looks a bit raw but strong and quick.

01 Jul 2016 21:12:06
Lol no chance now.

01 Jul 2016 21:12:39
Good goal
He would suit the rangers blue.

01 Jul 2016 20:29:42
Really happy with signings so far. I do have a 3 player wish list now. Mariappa (CB) wiess (am) Cummins (st) what do you think fellow bears what 3 do you want in.

01 Jul 2016 20:56:14
I would take mariappa aluko and Hemmings. But who ever comes in am sure it will be a good signing in warburton we trust 55 here we come.

01 Jul 2016 19:44:19
Warbs saying today that he may not use the loan market this year. This is down to landing the two primary targets in Barton/ Krankjar along with Rossiter etc.

Take it they've got a fair confidence in landing a striker on a permanent then?!?

No secret that he wants a striker 😉.

01 Jul 2016 20:03:32
Oguchi Onyewu looks an absolute beast. Really hope this guy can prove his fitness. Could be a big player for us.

02 Jul 2016 16:02:12
He looks like an absolute weapon mate. i'm sure he would be half decent in the scottish game.

01 Jul 2016 18:47:21
Kenny miller has stated he's now sitting his coaching badges preparing himself to go into management, when he eventually calls time on his playing career, he's already started coaching within murray park and by all accounts he's highly thought of by our current management team as he's already showing signs that he'll make a good manager/ head coach, he's most definitely a future rangers manager in the waiting, kenny is a thoroughbred who is still very fit for his age and is a role model to any aspiring young player at rangers about how to live and look after your body, kenny miller lives like a monk and it shows, even now we're in the big league kenny miller will do well for us again this season, I also think there's a good chance that miller may get durrant's old job along with being head of our youth academy, he deserves it, he's a great professional!

01 Jul 2016 19:08:15
I would like to see Miller stay on and do well with the club. Always given 100% for us.

01 Jul 2016 19:51:55
Agree 100 % a true pro
He had a wonderful career and still as fit as a fiddle good luck with all you try in the future Kenny, but you have a title to win before you take up any coaching post.

02 Jul 2016 16:10:06
Warbs15 i posted much the same as yours, as soon as durrant was moved on, durrant was one of my favourite players, but i think miller would be an ideal replacement, you said miller lives like a monk, i think we all know durranty never. lol.

01 Jul 2016 14:17:18
Phew, we dodged a bullet, Steven Fletcher has signed for Sheffield wednesday :-)

01 Jul 2016 14:49:08
only problem is will strachan finally bomb him out.

01 Jul 2016 15:43:36
And play who. He is Scotland's best striker.

01 Jul 2016 16:00:21
Lol, if that's our best striker, we better scrap our national team, i'm a Rangers fan but i would give Griffiths a start before him.

01 Jul 2016 16:14:50
Rather Fletcher than Vaughan.

01 Jul 2016 16:24:00
Scotland's best striker?

What about the lad Rhodes that's banged the goals in at every club he's been at?
Surely we have better than Fletcher!

01 Jul 2016 17:19:39
Martin and McCormack should be given more of a chance.

01 Jul 2016 17:26:54
Scotland's best strikers by far are rhodes and mccormack but there not Strachans boys.

01 Jul 2016 17:50:27
Sorry guys but griffiths is a goal machine and why Jordan Rhodes doesn't get a look in baffles me.

01 Jul 2016 18:27:42
Benny
With all due respect, you are off your head!
Fletcher Scotland's best striker?
Have a word with yourself, his record at club and international level is rank rotten!
There are far better strikers getting snubbed by Chesney!

01 Jul 2016 19:20:24
I dunno if you boys go to many Scotland games but I very rarely miss a home game. Griffiths isn't cut out for international football, Rhodes first touch is some of the worst I have seen, don't even get me started on Chris Martin he is shocking and you may have a point with McCormack. The reason I say fletcher is because of his hold up play. As a defensive team we need a boy who can hold up the play and bring the midfielders into play. That's what fletcher does he allows Naismith snodgrass and anya to push on and score. I may be boast because I know the family though.

01 Jul 2016 19:44:44
Until Scotland changes its entire ethos it really doesn't matter. Men in suits with little knowledge about football living in a past Era. I am sure that if they wanted to and had a manager worth talking about then they could find a number of players that would qualify for Scotland that are better than most of what we have!

01 Jul 2016 18:02:41
McCormack definitely deserves more of a chance in the Scotland set up.

01 Jul 2016 20:16:09
who instead ANYONE.

01 Jul 2016 20:58:54
Fletcher is only good against Gibraltar I wish he signed for the unwashed.

01 Jul 2016 23:50:26
Say what you like about Fletcher but he has played in the EPL for a good number of years. If McCormack and Rhodes are that much better then why aren't they playing in the EPL? Griffiths didn't exactly score many goals in league 1 for Wolves yet he is a star up here. I don't think any Scottish teams are in a position to think EPL players are not good enough.

02 Jul 2016 16:14:43
Rhodes doesn't get a start at his own club, nor does Anya, that not tell you something. ? Rhodes is a very lucky boy, a millionaire who scores against inferior teams, I brt boro ate sorry they signed him, if he was as good as his record from 2 yrs ago suggested, he would be playing for arsenal or spurs.

01 Jul 2016 12:52:41
I think we should have an offer in for hayes and rooney of Aberdeen .
rooney would score for fun for us and hayes has a lot to offer acould play his out on the right wing McKay on the left just a thought!

what you guys think.

01 Jul 2016 13:48:03
We want to raise our game mate I would touch them, sheep lovers.

01 Jul 2016 13:49:44
I see two disagree but rooney scored 19 goals last campaigne and could add to that with the right service.

01 Jul 2016 14:20:13
Imo they are decent premier league players who will score goals but I feel rangers wanting to challenge Celtic and with hopes of playing in Europe next few year I think we need young players the management team think will develop more than Adam rooney etc in the next year or two so we challenge in league and play in Europe without doing a ce*tic and getting bombed out early this isn't a dig at the other side either I'm merely judging results from last few year we need younger players with potential to be much better than all standard so we can improve win silver wear and sell on for a profit.

01 Jul 2016 14:22:37
I thought Hayes was a standout when I saw him last season and I'd have him at ibrox.

01 Jul 2016 14:30:07
7 of which were penalties. He's just not that good I'm afraid, and from Aberdeen, we would be paying top dollar for him. Probably 1 million, maybe more. Not worth that kind of outlay.

Forget scoring, he doesn't offer enough in terms of link up play or off the ball movement, which is exactly what you need with 1 up top. Kris Boyd couldn't get a game in the bigger matches for this reason, ie in Europe or against Celtic sometimes he would be left out, and he scored far more goals than Rooney ever will.

01 Jul 2016 17:00:17
I think we should make a rule not to do business with the sheep, dungdee utd or hibs and the likes unless we are taking youth players that would benefit us and hurt them. Chairman, board, fans and team at them all are let's get in players for playing in Europe not some mediocre player from a crap team in a crap league.

01 Jul 2016 17:27:16
I would take kenny McLean and shinnie.

01 Jul 2016 11:52:01
Some options for a striker I would be happy to see, from most likely to possibly out of our price range. Surely we should be making a move for one of these guys, its a no brainer.

Matt Taylor- free agent, 28 goals for Bristol Rovers last season.

Sam Winnall- Last year contract, 21 league goals Barnsley.

Paddy Madden- 2 year contract, 20 league goals Scunthorpe.

Nahki Wells- 2 year contract, 17 league goals Huddersfield.

Jonathan Kodjia- 2 year contract, 19 league goals Bristol City.

01 Jul 2016 12:44:25
KODJIA would be a good signing I think and matt taylor had a good year although that being said isn't he in the region of 35ish?
I think we should be looking for sum1 who is younger than that yet still proven goal scorer.
nahki wells would cost us bout 3 million his contract isn't up till 2018!
paddy madden I think would jump at the chance to play for us and would cost under 1 mill maybe a risk worth taking.
sam winall would be a god signing I think!

doesd anyone else think that adam rooney is just as good as all these guys I think he would score for fun for us .

I thinks adam rooney and johnny hayes both should be on our wishlist watched these two rip the spl apart last year!

01 Jul 2016 13:03:24
Taylor is only 25 I think you are mixing him up with guy who used to play for Sheffield United.

01 Jul 2016 13:33:15
Have to agree with you james stirling, I think both johnny hayes and adam rooney would be terrific signings for us, I particularly like hayes, I wouldn't mind us signing will grigg, naki wells or tom bradshaw but I have heard we're signing kyle lafferty when he comes back from his 2 weeks holiday and then we'll tie up the deal, god I hope NOT!

01 Jul 2016 14:03:39
Think you will find guys that the next players to come in will be loan signings .
Before anyone moans about not spending remember players cost wages .
MW did state that we are still looking at two more, CH, and a striker, all looking good .

01 Jul 2016 14:36:06
lafferty would be a mistake just ask any of your celtic friends they would love to see us sign him again lol that's when you know he just isn't good enough!
and on taylor well different taylor I was thinking of but that's because I don't know that many from league 2 down south I don't think we should be looking down there for a striker not when they have just signed dembelle we need a good response keep them on their toes.

01 Jul 2016 14:59:30
Wells from Huddersfield would be a good signing wouldn't mind him.

01 Jul 2016 15:36:15
Warburton15, I hope the source who told you we were after Scot McDonald is the same source source telling you about Lafferty, as let's face it, the first one about McDonald turned out to be utter garbage (thankfully) .
Lafferty is not the answer for us and I feel we should be showing greater ambition than a player who has failed at the majority of clubs he's played at since leaving us.

01 Jul 2016 17:35:28
All the names listed in posts above and I would still go with Hardie over them all. He deserves a chance for sure and when loaned out he proved he has eye for goal. With the service I hope the front man will get this season from midfield I think he would shine.

01 Jul 2016 18:18:32
Hardie will be a player but not for a couple more seasons. Would be good to get him involved this year but not as the main striker, he should be 3rd choice behind Miller and whoever we sign, being used when the situation is correct for him. This way the pressure and expectation is not all on his shoulders, he would gain experience from the other strikers and we would have a ready made replacement for Miller the season or two after.

This year is not the time to hope that he is good enough and give him the responsibilities, we need someone else in with a bit of pedigree about them already and wither you agree or not, those strikers down south have that over Hardie. There is no chance he would be scoring the goals they have at this stage in his career.

MW stated that there won't be any loan signings unless something very special comes up . due to signings made and game time you have to give to loans .

How many season tickets are we allowed to sell are we limited b cause the manky mob get 7500 twice a season.

01 Jul 2016 11:22:39
Not really we can sell discounted ST for broomloan that doesn't include games against celtic personally i would cut their allocation and just give them couple thousand.

01 Jul 2016 12:46:46
naw need the atmosphere got the aloocations right I think!

I like to goto the manky house and seeing us beat them there aswell if we cut theirs they would cut ours.
