Kick-off are quoting us with an interest with a 20 year old Danish midfielder by the name of Mikkel Duelund. No idea if it's true but I'd be tempted to believe it a bit more than some of the more obvious names that have been put forward recently. On another note, given that we've had a month of being told that we're after a host of 30 plus guys on high wages I think it says something of SG's approach that he's spending his first few days at an under 21 tournament scouting. I think it shows how commited he is to the task at hand that he's not just sitting behind a desk watching video's or reading scouts reports.

Anyone heard anything about public sale for season tickets? been on waiting list since last season for me and my daughter, thought I may have heard something with the announcement of more season tickets being available? cheers.

kickoff. co. uk says we are looking at a lad called Mikkel Duelund. currently plays for FC Midtjylland. They also call him a wonder kid so i'm not to sure how much truth is in this. just wondering if anyone has heard of him?

I read in papers Billy Gillmor left rangers because he was scared of Scot brown . It's come to something when a young talent in Scotland has to leave because of that so called player of the year.

Thats just not true, Gilmour said he wasn't physically developed enough yet to compete against Brown. Nothing to do with being scared of him. Boy is focused on his development, breaking into u23 squad at Chelsea then looking to go on loan with a first team squad. Hopefully a Scotland star of the future. Good luck to him.

Hello lads first time post cannot wait till start off the season with our new manager in charge where standards will be raised fitness nutrition team spirit etc where I think with another 6 new signings will give us a competitive balanced and adaptable squad my squad would be gk mcgregor Alnwick, rb Tav R Jack, lb D John L Wallace, rm Candeias cm R Mcrorie Doch Rossiter Arfield, Murphy cam or left wing same as Windass. lm Middleton st morales if we got decent offers for Windass and morales I would take the money and invest in the squad we need 3 centre backs a right midfielder and 2 strikers just my opinion lads bring it on.

I'll tell you what i see good about daniel candeias! When this tenacious wee winger is on his game he can be superb! He's a team player with terrific high intensity workrate, who helps out the full back on his side! He can also go past defenders and can deliver terrific final balls into dangerous areas! Can also be very tricky and skillful! Is that enough for you mate?

Candyass can be really good at times but also very average at other times, tremendous workrate though and deserved his new contract IMO. A bit too inconsistent to be relied on every wk, squad player for me!

For 750k he’s about the level of player I’d expect. Nothing special but more than able to do a job in Scottish football. Posted missing against Celtic in those last two matches.

There has been a lot of media speculation and rumours about possible loanees to us. My take on just 2 from Liverpool Ben woodburn only 18 has played a handful of games for Wales and Liverppol and scored for both. Very exciting prospect but at his age and level of achievement we have zero chance of signing him. Harry Wilson lightning fast winger played 1 or 2 games as a sub for Liverpool and did exceptionally well for Hull on loan last year I think he would be our best winger if we get him and score a good few goals. Though at 21 he has still to get a regular even subs position so far. With the high level of players at Liverpool I think he may move on next year to get first team football. Liverpool had him sign, I think, a 4 year deal before letting him out on loan which suggests to me they may be open to sell. So if we could secure a 1 year loan we get a great young player for a year and with regular first team football and Europe we would be in pole position to sign him. Trans market have him valued at less than £1mil which is silly but he may be within our price range next year.

Hello fellow bears, exciting times today with Stevie taking over, just looking at some of the more fringe/ youth players at Liverpool that Gerrard may well be looking into securing transfer/ loan deals for. I know there has been names linked so far but let's be honest none of us are going to know who Gerrard has in mind! out of the following do any of you think any of them would be worth a shot on?

Marko Gruic - on loan last year at Cardiff, surely his time is up at Anfield now given then incoming CM's albeit we couldn't afford him so likely a loan?

Jon Flannagan? has a few England caps which may make him out of our price range, loan?

Ryan Kent? tipped for a big future, again would have to be a loan deal as I can't see Liverpool willing to let him go.

June 1, is the day I have been waiting for and I am absolutely desperate to get started officially in my role as the manager of Rangers Football Club. Just saying that excites and motivates me so much.

Although the players won’t report back from their breaks until later this month I am looking forward to meeting them and also welcoming some new faces to this fantastic club.

Along with Mark (Allen) and my backroom team we have already been working on our plans and strategy for the new season. We know what we want to achieve and we also know what will be required to meet the challenges ahead, but we will be ready.

Indeed, over the next week or so, I will be engaged in work and activities outwith Auchenhowie which I hope will be to the benefit of the club. We will also be putting the final pieces in place for our pre-season training camp in Spain.

Having already taken the opportunity to assess our Auchenhowie base and also facilities at Ibrox, we are focusing now on being ready for our first real challenge, a Europa League qualifying tie in early July.

We need to give the players every chance to perform at their best as often as possible because that is what fans demand, and rightly so. I must say that I have already had such a warm welcome from supporters across the world and this has served to confirm my belief that it’s the fans who make this football club great.

Everything we do will be for them. It’s time now…let’s go.

Bosman signing do not have transfer fees between clubs however the player will now be looking for a sizeable signing on fee, this can often equal a transfer fee however it goes straight to the players pocket.
