Follow bears and obsessors.

Just brainstorming here with regards to the Sfa and kings fit and proper criteria. Because in my mind the sfa want to pass him fit and proper but want the absulote most evidence he can provide to justify it. Because they know he is fit and proper. Otherwise in my mind they would just fail him. On the other hand lawell wants to fail him and has some backing but the other members of the panel want to pass him hence requesting more evidence. In my head I think he will fail but my heart is tellin me he will pass. i'm going with my heart :) what donyou giys think? also . #teampacman

So have you spoken to Lawell about this issue? What was he saying about it and did he just come out and tell you all about this process? I could imagine he must have been very nervous about telling you about this as he must have known that you would come straight on to this forum to tell everyone! Jeez man, you must have the low down on all the private conversations of Lawell!

Seriously though mate, how the feck do you know? Your obvious bitterness and narrow mindedness has clouded your thought process a little too much hasn't it to think that everyone who is not connected to your club is out to get you! And you dare to ridicule your rivals about paranoia??

I think you need to remember, that the SFA has helped your "club" from the moment they had to reapply (not relegated, but reapply!) too join he Scottish football league! So why would they not help your "club" have this convicted tax evader pass as fit and proper?

Do you not think maybe Lawell is trying to make sure that the farce that is RIFC doesn't happen again? No I guess that wouldn't suit your bitter agenda Now would it! The old "everyone hates us but we don't care" routine has been proven wrong with the tears that you all have been greeting because of the rules of the land being followed!

Matelot, All the poster was doing was giving his thought process on the 'fit and proper' question. I would say you are showing your true colours and any bitterness is coming from you.
Lawell has shown by various actions of his 'distaste' for us and should not be in a position to pass judgement. The panel should not include anyone with any direct association with any club, far less him.
Personally, I feel that economics will play a big part in the decision, and if it does Dave King will pass. It benefits every club in Scotland when we are healthy and Lawell will be biting off his nose, to spite his face, if he uses his undoubted influence to go against it.

Agree4 Disagree2

{Ed001's Note - everyone knows Lawell wants Rangers back and strong enough to provide a challenge to Celtic for the money. There is no way he wants to hold Rangers down, he is not interested in titles, he is interested in making money, he will make far more if Rangers are strong too.}

02 May 2015 08:47:20
ed that's 100% right the parkhead crowds have plummetted one of the few filled stadiums they played in front off was semi final at parkhead and the only way they have been making profits is by selling players but that does not always work their european foray last year earned them very little dundee utd have only wiped out debts with transfers the last 2 to celtic the whole of the premiership if the truth be told want rangers back and on top of that we have sorted the finances of most clubs in the championship and the leagues below scottish football needs a strong rangers to lift us away from the mickey mouse status we have at the minute

L3 obsessors right enough also feart of some real competition by the sounds of it. They must be quite happy to dominate the mighty Aberdeen and win the odd cup.

Obsessor- in the first part of my statment you will find the words "in my mind". With reference the your "club" connitations I would rather believe a judge who ruled us the same entity than a paranoid fan of the selik.

Moving on to lawell and ed I agree money is his motivation and at the start he was loving the bragging rights but don't forget the european money celtic have a monopoly on. He does need rangers back bit also has a conflic of interest IN MY OPINION.

Rules aren't as black and white as a pass and fail, there is such a thing as mitogation and king has the backing of the authorities that convicted him. He paid money due and settled it.

Jeeeeeeeez!

Rest assured mate, the worlds most successful club will be back to add to the 54 spl titles and shunt selik to the side once again. Saaarrryyyyyy

Huge weekend in prospect. IF Rangers are promoted, get the spine of the team sorted - Gareth McAuley as CH & captain, Scott Allan, Matt Smith/Kyle Lafferty.

01 May 2015 23:05:11
well I ain't pineing for any of that lot especially lafferty

Lafferty? Why would you want that imposter back he jumped ship once that's enough for me

100% rightv stewie I would have none of them backwith the exception of davis and every time I listen to naismith I grit my teeth

02 May 2015 09:17:32
BIGWULL

100% right mate Naismith is the worst out of the lot that jumped ship. He showed his true colours when he had the press conference to say he was deserting. Club helped that wee imposter through 2 serious knee injuries only for him to leave us high and dry. Don't want any of them back

Gareth mcauley is worse than mcculloch. Get either beevers or Jason Pearce, Scott allan and vuckic(if affordable) if not get in Craig sibbald from falkirk, get in erwin and Greg stewart

Struggling with today's announcement from the SPFL that it will reject Rangers and Motherwell's intention to no charge season ticket holders. Why was this OK last year for Hubs.
News reports say they consulted member clubs - 'would you like some free money?' as long as sporting integrity is maintained.
I don't know the rules but assume 40,000 per game at £25 each = £1m
If rangers let in STs for free the income is about £375k
Why not set ticket prices for everyone at £8 each -would guarantee more home fans and SPFL could not argue they don't get their share

Believable1 Unbelievable0

01 May 2015 19:04:01
If a precedent was set last year to allow Hibs not to charge fans then I can only assume that Rangers and Motherwell are within there rights to refuse. We will end up paying and losing the appeal so let's just get on with it. Or charge a nominal 1p admission fee but we put up the price of the food by £1.00 . Just an idea not written in stone .

Agree0 Disagree0

01 May 2015 19:10:34
The bottom line its morraly wrong.Hibs done it last year & the fans don't deserve to pay after buying there season tickets. Goodwill has gone, apart from the sc cup final which will be a family orientated day for all,it's a pity all clubs couldn't generate that kind of atmosphere due to pathetic outdated songs & vile hatred on show against opposite clubs!!

Agree1 Disagree0

01 May 2015 20:09:29
Rangers have and always will be a cash cow for other clubs it is for that reason I stopped travelling to away games, they changed the rules last season for Hibs but sporting integrity does not apply this season!

Agree4 Disagree0

01 May 2015 20:30:38
Couldn't agree more. I think it's pathetic. Of course if the spfl are going to consult with member clubs we know how that will go. The fact that it was ok last year for another side in the same position but not this year. Sporting integrity? Don't make me laugh. Again, we're shafted! Hoe many times?

Agree2 Disagree1

01 May 2015 22:43:45
Apparently when Hibs did it last year, the SPL rules allowed a club to do it, provided they asked well in advance, which Hibs did.

The SPFL rules which apply now don't have the same leeway.

Agree0 Disagree2

01 May 2015 23:06:58
i think also hibs paid so much compensation to

Agree1 Disagree1

02 May 2015 09:20:30
Don't think you are allowed to pay 1p for entry. Are the prices not set at the start of the season? Typical of the governing body though to do this. None of them are fit for office and the sooner they are gone the better. This is just another example of their incompetence

Agree0 Disagree0

01 May 2015 18:45:44
SPFL have released their teams of the season and what a sorry indictment on Rangers that we have no players worthy of that team. This reinforces my point that no player deserves to be named club player of the year. See Scot Allan made it considered not good enough by Ally and ex Ger Rory Loy in as well. 2nd highest wage bill on the county yet no one good enough for championship team of the year. We really are plunging new depths

Even Broxi Bear out voted by The Falkirk Fox!!Actually pathetic how a club with the second highest budget in the land can't have a single player nominated in the second tier. That Entitlement attitude has bit yous big time on the A$$. Reality is it will take 1 or 2 years to make the top 6 position.

On the subject of the play-offs, I think we can and will win the games, even if we finish third. QOS are there to be beaten. I don't know what happened at Palmerston Park recently but at Ibrox over two legs we can beat them. We've shown we can beat Hibs and we've beaten 3 SPL teams this season in the cups. If we have to play McCulloch, why don't we play him up front as the main striker? That way, we can sort out the defence and play McGregor and Zaliukas in the middle. Don't know about right back but surely Foster (where is he?) could be relied upon at right back for the play-offs? So my team for the play-offs would be (4-4-2):
Bell; Foster, McGregor, Zaliukas, Wallace; Murdoch or Black, Law, Vuckic, Templeton or Shiels; McCulloch, Hardie or Daly

Believable1 Unbelievable5

01 May 2015 13:56:21
Foster is injured mate.I see you've been reading big DJs column re playing Clugger up front? That will mean launching high balls into the box all game, and we're trying to get away from that.I'd rather play Daly if we are going down that road.

Agree2 Disagree0

01 May 2015 12:45:39
Foster Recently went through surgery and won't be back in a Rangers shirt. McCulloch and Zaliukas would be my preferred partnership, with Mcgregor at right back. he's better than foster, Faure and Crawford.

Agree1 Disagree0

01 May 2015 17:40:12
I would like to see a 3-2-3-2 formation with a back 3 of Wallace Zaliukas and McGregor with McCulloch and Murdoch as holding midfielders Law, Templeton, Walsh sitting in front of them and Vuckic with either Hardy and Clark up front
