Comfortable win tonight, but the team had more of balanced look after Templeton came on.

Comfortable win? in what respect? have you not noticed we can't win games until the second half? when part time players start to crumble?
If Ally etc haven't noticed this i'd be very worried,, we will win against teams that are not fit and in fullltime football? but should be able to do this in firsat half. if good enough?
does not auger well for 1st div,, when dfc hearts etc will be there. unless there's a CUNNING plan in ALLys box of tricks. like mmmmmmmm buy heaps more players.

Comfortable win indeed. 65% of possession, 20shots in the game with 19 of them being rangers. Airdrie never looked like challenging. They, like a lot of teams that visit Ibrox, set out to defend for their lifes. Which they do. 11 men behind the ball. And it works. We just keep passing the ball, letting them chase it until they tire and we get the opening. IT WORKS.

As for divison 1, clubs will hopefully be more open and attempt to attack, leaving opportunities to exploit their defence.

@1 comfortable win in the respect that Airdrie barely had a shot on goal, and sat in.
Agree with you that Rangers need to start better, but we lacked width until Templeton came on, and also Aird looked lively when he came on.
Macleod is much more effective in centre mid and he and Peralta are being played out of position.

Templeton has the vision to unlock defences we must start with him

I honestly hope rangers can arrange a benefit game very quickly for fernando ricksen, its only right that it should be rangers v fortuna sittard at ibrox, I've no doubt the game would be a sell sellout as fernando was a very popular & well liked player with both the rangers supporters & all his fellow team team mates, what do my other fellow 'gers fans think?

Would be a great idea, with the money raised going to help MND. Sadly, McCoist is getting slaughtered already by the dhims for the suggestion of playing a charity game. Pathetic.
