Tom Walsh - loan to Stenhousemuir to 1 January 2015.
Danny Stoney - loan to Stranraer to 1 January 2015.
Luca Gasparotto - loan to Airdrieonians to 1 January 2015.
Craig Halkett - loan to Clyde to 1 January 2015.
Calum Gallagher - loan to Cowdenbeath to 1 January 2015.
Robbie Crawford - loan to Morton to 1 January 2015

Thank guys for freeing up the bench and making way for Foster, Smith, Sheils Black, Law and freeing up your massive wage bill, enough sarcasm, you would never get a sniff of playing for Rangers under McCoist!

Can anyone tell me the last Rangers manager to give more than 1or2 youth players there chance
r.f

Agree0 Disagree0

@ rf walter smith and alex mcleish gave the youth a chance

02 Sep 2014 16:51:29
A was a big Walter fan but he gave no youth a chance at all and I have always said we have always been terrible on youth promotion to the first team I remeber Barry ferguson constantly ignored till advocate came to the club

Totallt agree Ryan

R. f

So the best argument you can come up is what other Rangers manager has given youth a chance? Not really an endorsement of Ally.

Agree0 Disagree0

03 Sep 2014 09:54:06
@stewie the point is relevent as ally has been getting stick for not playing youth yet it seems no other manager in recent history gave youth much of a chance ,also to say this is down to allys coaching is wrong as durie & sinclair are employed as youth coaches
r.f

Agree0 Disagree0

03 Sep 2014 17:29:42
That's not so true u canny blame durie most of these guys are training with the first team I wasn't defending ally I was simply pointing out as a club we have never been overly kind to our youth players I understand players going our on loan as they have no chance of first team chances but under ally they probably won't get a choice they would be best off plying there trade elsewhere as he won't give them a game

Agree0 Disagree0

03 Sep 2014 20:22:17
And my point is youth have never really been given the chance at ibrox for years not just under mccoist & the simple reason is US THE FANS as we demand success where as other teams and fans are quite.happy to finish in the top 6 .
r.f

Agree0 Disagree0

Rf the difrence is we have no money we would have money if we had went down the youth route granted it may have took us longer to get to top league but I would rather have took longer and had money than were we are now skint with nothing on the horizon

Agree0 Disagree0

04 Sep 2014 10:02:59
So its ok to not play the youth when we have money to spend . look at it this way his remit was getting up the leagues asap. now bear with me. if u were a manager of a factory and your remit was to get an order out as quick as possible would you employ 11 profesionals or would u throw in 11 trainees its a no brainer .
r.f

Agree0 Disagree0

N10 rf ally was rushing it back for the face less investers guy he doesn't even know thinking more about there and his investment than he was about the club the guy was a ledgent as a player he should have took walter smiths advice and walked away

Agree0 Disagree0

Rf how can you possibly compare rangers football club to a factory in a hurry to out orders

Agree0 Disagree0

05 Sep 2014 09:11:51
Get a grip its a business like any other and if u want a job done in a hurry u pay professionals to do it not trainees tell u some people on here . Another thing if we we're in the top division winning titles the way we have won lower divisions Mccoist would not be getting this stick .
r.f

Agree0 Disagree0

05 Sep 2014 09:47:05
the factory was an example and of course he is rushing it back for the faceless investors they are his employers after all & they tell him what they expect and the people on here saying get the youth in and at the same time asking king to ride to the rescue well still no chance for the youth as he wants to throw money at the team as well .
r.f

Agree0 Disagree0

Rf if your hero keeps playing the same style of football we won't get promoted to the top league

stoney gasporotta gallager crawford all away out on loan out with the youth and stuck with the oldies may aswel rip up these lads contracts cause will not come back and get a chance in mccoists team

Believable0 Unbelievable0

At least these boys might get some decent coaching and might develop. This would never happen under the inept one

Agree0 Disagree0

Craig halkett also out on loan to get experience. Good move for the boy and the club for the future

And?? They haven't played since last year, hence y they've been sent out on loan! Great bits of business, gives them a chance to remember how lucky they r playing for rangers and c how the other half live and play, and how so called lesser teams cope with different pressures, it's up to them to go and make a name for themselfs, hopefully come back better players than they already r!!

Agree0 Disagree0

Where have Stoney ang Gasparotto gone then?

Agree0 Disagree0

Could be the case of reducing the wage bill (ever so slightly) as no one would touch the oldies on their wages!

Agree0 Disagree0

01 Sep 2014 22:25:11
They might have nothing to come back to young players going out on loan is the least of our worries I would think .
r.f

Agree0 Disagree0

Gaz we would be lucky to give the oldies away for free the contracts there on will more than likely see these oldies run there contracts down lol lol

Agree0 Disagree0

02 Sep 2014 10:03:32
@2

That would be true if that was going to happen however the reality is that when these boys come back they won't get a look in

Calum gallagher has left on loan. Strange? Yes. Surprising? No

Believable0 Unbelievable0

He needs games and he's not going to get them as he's down the pecking order so it's not really strange

Agree0 Disagree0

Predictable yes. How to decrease your attacking options.

Agree0 Disagree0

Disappointed he has left as he could have been given game time in the first team. However you knew the writing was on the wall for the young players when none of them were picked when we played the mighty Clyde in the cup. Even when we were comfortably ahead at half time the young players on the bench didn't get a game.

Agree0 Disagree0

Stewie agreed mate but after having the league sewn up he should have used youngsters eh if he wouldn't use them then he wouldn't use them until it was a must so that meant never the manager was on an ego trip last season his team never lost a game on his cv and that will go into one of his books cause ally must know he will never be offered a football managers job again ever again imho

Are we really sending Callum Gallacher on loan to Cowdenbeath? If so this another shocking decision!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Sending "squad" players out on loan. Gallaghers big quick and strong. Predictable decision. Hutton should be allowed to leave, what he's done to earn a contract is anyone's guess. Crawfords went to Morton.

Agree0 Disagree0

What is so shocking about it? He wasn't going to get in before miller, Boyd, Clark or daly so the boy is better going out and getting games and confidence and he will come back to us with more experience than just sitting on the bench every week. No brainier for me.

Agree0 Disagree0

Bt by the time he comes back three in front of him will have retired on old age

if our best in players in wallace and lewis are sold for well below there value to keep our club going for another month then the board should expect a backlash from the fans its not aceptable

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Craig 8688 although the window is now shut the people ruining rangers must have known that selling either would have led to the biggest revolt in there time in charge imo

Agree0 Disagree0

The biggest revolt will be front page news tomorrow or later today

if we go into admin we would be able to get rid of all the dead wood including the 3 amigos so might be a blessing in disguise

Believable0 Unbelievable0

You would have us go into admin to get rid of ally

Agree0 Disagree0

01 Sep 2014 13:54:51
@ op he didn't walk away after last administration why would he this time provided there is still a club to manage . a not of caution to all the "loyal" fans who are hoping for 2nd administration in the hope that king or a.n.other comes to the rescue what if no one comes!

Agree0 Disagree0

So we go into admin again, screw all the companies we owe money too AGAIN so we can get rid of the current board. sorry but if it's admin 2 I will never ever set foot near ibrox again

Agree0 Disagree0

01 Sep 2014 18:27:55
@2. If the last admin had been a proper one, he would not have had a choice regarding walking away. Instead we got a half baked stitch up that should shame the whole insolvency profession

Agree0 Disagree0

You may be watching your last few games at Ibrox then.
