Is Sports Direct not like the Poundland of the shopping world? I mean could you not go in there with £50 and come out with about 20 big bags of 'goodies'. Like who wears Lonsdale, fila, slazenger and Dunlop? FFS do they not make tyres? Any of the big brands they do have are like things you wouldn't wear to put the bins out.So I won't be boycotting the shop as I have never been a customer.

Briggs {Ed039's Note - I do plenty of shopping there Briggs, is there a problem with people shopping in there or only now as there is an association with rangers?)

Believable21 Unbelievable6

Their on-line site does Firetrap, Superdry, Hollister etc - that acceptable for you ?

Agree7 Disagree15

Stick to the barras briggs, they'll stock your green and grey 2xl top! PB

Agree13 Disagree5

I bought a pair of Adidas Trainers & an Adidas Team GB tracksuit top and it cost me about £85 really nice stuff Guttys were plain smart & a bargain at £35 but hardly bloody poundland ur cheap dig is just pathetic because sports direct is now associated with Rangers

Agree11 Disagree7

For someone who has never been in the store or shop in it you seem to know an awful lot about it .I'm thinking your just a sad little man who wants most to do with a e reputable sports company on the basis they are in business with the rangers.tragic and so f****** sad.

Agree10 Disagree5

Superdry? Are those nappies to go with the sh!te they sell in there?

Briggs {Ed039's Note - live at any bad comedy club soon)

Agree12 Disagree6

And the winner of the most ridiculous post of the day , jeez oh what a sausage .

Agree8 Disagree4

Aye check the balance sheet as well in a poor economy better than any other sports outlet and higher than a lot of places, bargains are good in a bad economy look at ur ki the 8 mil player supposedly,,,what we have been told for weeks going for 5 mmmmm
craig+babybear

Agree6 Disagree5

To be fair i always thought it was a bit down market. But so was JJB.

Agree7 Disagree6

Haha briggs ya wee ned! Typical

Agree6 Disagree5

@2 I get my champions gear from the Celtic shop....you know OUR OWN shop!
@3 Are you sure...easily pleased I think.
@4 When did I say I was never in the shop? Have an adult or your carer read my post out to you obviously you can't read.
@6 Try read more posts and that will quash that statement.
@7 The initial fee for Ki if he signs for Swansea is £6.3m with £1.2m of add-ons dependent on appearances, with a 15% sell on fee. Not bad for a bench warmer who can't get a regular game for the champions especially in these poor/ bad economic times...don't you agree?
@8 CORRECT
@9....... Eh?

Briggs

Agree6 Disagree4

Briggs son, keep it all going, it's great you and your lot will never let Rangers die will you, we could have been playing in a under 15s league and yous would still keep the ledgend that is Rangers FC going.
A massive thanks is due to you Celtic supporters for refusing to give up on us, so if you are looking to blame someone for the special treatment afforded to Rangers which helped us keep going, have a look in the mirror pal, or in your case the tinfoil.

Agree4 Disagree2

I love Sports Direct! Only ever get stuff out of there! Never shop in the other stores cause they are generally overpriced but Sports Direct are great for a bargain! I'd rather be associated with them than JJB same as I'd rather shop in Primark than Marks and Spencers. It's the economy we live in....better the money in my pocket than some overpriced stores till!

Agree5 Disagree0

"the Poundland of the shopping world" - last time I checked, Poundland was a shop

Agree2 Disagree2

Post 7 is half right. Sports direct are properly doing the best out there and pound land are doing better than tesco lol (was in the paper and few weeks back) also sports direct have a % in usc.

As for ki 5/6m for a player who can't get into the starting 11?no bad business there plus would rather sell him that ledley etc he was a ok player good when the team was winning murder when the team needed to dig in. Remember celtic wage bill last season was around 34m and could put out 3 different teams with the amount of players we have. If we don't get into the Cl then the ki sale is still a profit and cuts our debt down.

Selling players for profit is good business losing players for nothing or next to nothing is bad hence how the puppet glove is getting pics with the fans just so he can get the money in the door

I'll give the newco 3 years before it all kicks off again with the club for sale. Charlie boy is only there to pay back Ticketus....

Lenny

we have still not heard the outcome of the meeting cg went abroad with uefa reps . he was actually in france meeting craig whyte sighted at airport {Ed039's Note - I thought it was Switzerland, load of tosh)

Believable5 Unbelievable5

UEFA confirmed that no meeting took place.Said it before this guy needs watching.

Agree4 Disagree0

I thought the rumour was that he was in Switzerland on the same day as Craig Whyte, Dave King and Gary Withey were. By coincidence.

here we go again its the same old story , lets buy to be better than anyone else , lets get behind our new owner hes loaded and we will prosper , lets all shop at jjb we will make a fortune out of them , now its lets get into sports direct we will make a killing ........ how long are we going to be suckers and believe our own crap lets get real . rangers are being groomed for another sell off and green ,ashley whyte ticketus and f..k knows who else are going to make a f,,kin mint out of us , and we will be back to square one , skint with our ar.se against the wall . when will we wake up

Believable16 Unbelievable10

Is that you Phil?

Agree1 Disagree6

The sad thing is no matter how many times you tell they will not believe it.

Agree6 Disagree5

I agree mate.Prepare to be hosed by the blind on here.

Agree5 Disagree4

Ofcourse we will be sold thats why green bouh us no-one disagrees with that! but we will be in a much better finacial state when we are as if were not who will buy us? Green will do is best for rangers because that is what is best for him(more money).

Agree0 Disagree1

O.p. your club needs a lot more like you. well said .. shamrock

Seeing how you lot love attendance figures as you were all talking about it, I would like to point out that the derby game in spl had close to 14000 which is the most since 20years I think. So take it easy when talking about the attendances are bad in spl and all will be gone without yous.

Believable15 Unbelievable14

Did u see any of the crowds in the highlights , all i seen was empty seats , will give it to the derby great atmosphere but will u get that next week .................
craig+babybear

Agree7 Disagree12

My god one game and your getting carried away calm down m8

Agree7 Disagree6

It's a bad day when the main talking point after a weekend of football is the attendances. Since when has it become relevant to both media and fans to harp on about it. We know attendances are dire for most team so why the big fuss?

Briggs {Ed039's Note - Or sports shops Briggs, pot kettle me thinks)

Agree6 Disagree5

@2, one game calm down? Do you tell that to yourself or your other supporters by any chance? Or do you only save that for anything/anyone that does not show yous up to prove your wrong? Have you not notice what your own supporters were going crazy about the attendances in one day saying how it is a world record and biggest crowd in spl when Celtic was even playing at home? Wait to hear a good response but that takes looking at boths sides of argument and not just whats good/right for one side but as always it's double standards for your club.

Agree5 Disagree5

That is because they only go to derby matches

Agree6 Disagree2

@babtbear. / griw up mate... he made a valid point . gers have been savaging the spl attendances of other teams of late. attendences are up tgis season. oh and by the way tannadice was at capacity. sold out. fact.

Agree6 Disagree8

6) I think the point being made by all Gers fans is that when the SPL vote was being considered fans of all other clubs stated they would boycott their own grounds if the chairmen voted Rangers back in.........now to my knowledge the chairmen (blindly it seems) listened to the fans and voted NO, their reward?? still half empty stadia, this is why points are being raised about attendances I think

Agree3 Disagree2

Alright Ed039 not at all mate. What I'm saying is we should be talking about the football as in bad decisions, good goals, bad tackles etc not the bloody attendances. My post about sports direct was....wait for it.... Banter! Of coarse ive shopped there from time to time (who doesnt like a bargain?)and I will continue to do so if I see something that I like but not those brands that I mentioned. Lol

I see the dhims from the Kerrydale street sour kitchen are belittling our crowd at the game on Saturday, the cant even sell out when they won the title, petty and jealous ,i think,Rangers Bigger Better Always.

Believable18 Unbelievable16

Bigger clubs dont play in bottom tier league , bigger teams pay there bills , bigger teams play in europe , bigger teams get respect from other teams , finally bigger teams declare player wages need i go on

Agree14 Disagree17

Listen mate id much rather be in the spl , playing in europe than the sfl3 anyday, its time we all cut this cr@p, murray & to a degree whyte caused this not celtic, spl or anyone. get a grip.

Agree15 Disagree12

Not all 'Dhims' are belittling yor crowd. I had already posted a compliment on here about it. I wish supporters on both sides would just give the negativity/bitching a rest once in a while and remember its a sport. hh. Joe

good luck to the German goalie on trial at Rangers, the last German keeper Derr Goalie was not too bad,he was a legend. {Ed039's Note - And had a massive amount of his wage contributed via EBT if all is to believed, great keeper none the less)

Believable5 Unbelievable6

There is no point in mentioning EBTs, it was not Klos' fault how Rangers paid him and more to the point a tax tribunal will decide if the use of them was inappropriate or not.

Agree9 Disagree6

@1 You must be choking with sand the amount of time your head has been in it.

Was not klos's fault. Are you for real, what, he did not know he was getting paid this way, duh.

Mark, just for you.

Despite reports that Rangers set a world record for a fourth-tier match, they're still behind Brazilian club Santa Cruz, who had as many as 59,966 fans for a Serie D match last season.

Believable13 Unbelievable12

Ed how can I prove this if you wont let me mention the sources? :( {Ed039's Note - I wasn't allowed to post a link like that sorry)

Agree1 Disagree5

Ed can you confirm you've saw the link lol. {Ed039's Note - Sorry I didn't look, I don't really care to be honest)

Agree2 Disagree5

So nameless one here are sum sources for you, reuters, brisbane times, japan times, the globe and mail canada, the world game australia, sports business daily usa,the washington post usa,the star malaysia! need i go on cause i can and going by what the ed says you only had one link? im still on the side of the world press i think rangers record holders...mark.

Agree0 Disagree3

Looks like you don't want to face reality ed.
Tam {Ed001's Note - or perhaps he just didn't bother to look at Youareatube link because anyone can post rubbish on there. It is not a reliable source and an idiotic attempt to prove the point. The match being referred to was a play off match and so it is not counted by some as a regular league match.}

Agree1 Disagree0

Mark does that mean the press have been bang on regards every story that shows Rangers in a bad light or is your embracing of news a kind of Woolworth's pick n mix?

Agree2 Disagree0

That's a fair cop Mark, I shall take a nom de plume from now on, yours

Michael Exadurating Laudrup.

Agree2 Disagree0

Mark, the Sun is reporting a story saying Celtic are the second best supported club in the world, it's in the news, therefore I'm presuming it's fact, your thoughts?

Agree3 Disagree0

@5. @7. the world press you know sky news, itv, bbc organisations like that have reported about rangers and the world record! who reported about celtic? big difference. and you go on about pick and choose pot kettle pal...mark.

Exaggerating spelt as EXADURATING

And Michael Laudrup described as "once a ger always a ger".

Truth is, you are nothing more than comedy gold.

There I said it, we can keep it from you no longer. {Ed039's Note - I only just seen it but seems a corker I must admit)

,or is it another smoke and mirrors ploy

Believable8 Unbelievable3

Funny how he can't name the investors but can name the bigots and everyone who is apparently against yous eh? Now why would he not name the investors, maybe because if this all goes bad the "investors" don't want to have to put up with the fans but dosent mind doing that to anyone else.

I know you were having a dig but in seriousness despite being a Celtic fan I shopped in SD only yesterday and will continue to do so as long as they keep selling trainers cheap as I begrudge paying inflated prices because there is a certain wee logo on it. Not all old firm fans are so sad to let football matters rule their lives. {Ed039's Note - Have a word wi your man Briggs then mate)

Agree9 Disagree0

Where they gonna go get there shellsuits and white sports socks from now

well done sone,davo and michael laudrup yday.once a ger always a ger.mtan

Believable5 Unbelievable23

When was Michael Laudrup a Rangers player?

Agree16 Disagree1

I agree hope you dont get absolute roasted for it but Micheal Laudrup never played for us, He represents himself exactly like his brother though and really like him as a manager down south will follow his Team Swansea the Big Striker Michu he bought looks a steal for £2million.

Agree3 Disagree1

Once a Ger always a ger? Michael Laudrup never was one ya nugget. My god how thick are you lot?

Beyond funny. {Ed039's Note - Lol)

Agree11 Disagree0

That was brian u doughnut

Agree12 Disagree0

LOL, imbecile.

Agree12 Disagree0

Michael Laudrup is the uncle of a boy whose father played for Rangers. I thought that everybody knew that! {Ed039's Note - riddle me this, riddle me that)

Agree3 Disagree1

Davis- the worst ever Rangers captain.

Agree4 Disagree3

@2: Michu's not a striker. {Ed039's Note - His goals ratio would suggest he is, although from what I saw on Saturday he played off the main striker)

Agree1 Disagree1

@ 2) He will get roasted, and rightly so, it is beyond thick.

Agree4 Disagree0

Laudrup? wow,big gers fan are you?

Oh no! Rangers CEO plays the victim card...where have I heard that before?

Deja Vu isn't a new Serbian trialist by the way.

You only have yourselves to blame if you fall for it this time.

Be warned!

Cant say we didn't tell you.

Believable14 Unbelievable14

Get a grip of yourself you muppet what would you have us do like stop supporting rangers like we've told your lot before we don't do walking away if that makes us gullible then so be it. By the way what would you do if it were your team are you saying you would walk away if so you don't love the team just all the other Sh,,e that goes with it

Agree6 Disagree11

Dont be blinded, he's out to line his pocket.

Agree7 Disagree1

I would follow my team, doesn't mean I buy into every syllable uttered from my CEO. We did till the late 80's arguably, maybe longer for some. You guys got burned rotten by it last year, Whyte coercing you into an anti BBC tirade. gave him a few more months to really complete the disaster he left you. Never think your hands are tied you proved at the weekend you are the most powerful thing within Ibrox.

OP

Agree4 Disagree0

Lennon says he's a victim every year

The Falkirk PA announcer should hang his head in shame after belittling Rangers. What he said was just playing into the hands of the anti-Gers brigade and at the same time a slight against Falkirk FC.

Believable20 Unbelievable10

The Falkirk pa announcer is just like so many others in this country badly educated and even less morals. Even worse at the time he said he probably thought he was proper clever but in reality he's just a plonker

Agree13 Disagree9

Hang his head in shame for a wee joke? Lighten up.

Agree9 Disagree12

He was only telling the truth!

That's exactly what's happened!

Agree9 Disagree12

Just a bit of banter FFS. Lighten up guys!

Lost his job apparently!

Agree7 Disagree4

1) You don't sound like University Challenge material yourself mate.

OK he was a bit of a plonker but gies a break from the mock outrage. If you're offended by that then how do do you manage to watch a game with some of the songs our opponents sing? And us for that matter.

Agree6 Disagree5

@3 I presume you haven't heard it he doesn't tell a story of what happened.

JJB Rangers Megastore closed and emptied

Megastore already re-branded as Rangers Megastore Sport Direct, hopefully a lot more coverage to our brand, JJB was good financially for a while , but Brand coverage was a disaster , even in JJB stores.

BF

Believable9 Unbelievable3

Totally agree, live in England and could get next to hee-haw out our local JJB shops.

I reallie thk we should release Bocanegra and Goian, its clear they dnt want to be here, if we can get a fee for any of the two of them it's a bonus. Also i thk Broadfoot is awful, give Cole his chance, this is the guy tht made his debut against Bursaspor in the champions league. R defence was found wanting again on saturday, and against better teams like Falkirk on tuesday u wud worry a little, i would like 2 c a back four of Cole, Cribari, Perry/ Faure, Wallace agree or disagree? Please now pray that Broadfoot will leave seeing as your prayers are being answered.

Good Day Fellow Bears..
Well what a weekend, the faithful turned out in numbers, we are for sure going to take a week or two to settle down and get after playing football, however what about them fae the dark side, what a shower. Can anyone please explain why the dialog on the TV stated 3 minutes extra time and there saving grace goal was recorded as 49 minutes, sounds like Mr Thomson been working some Hogwarts sh*t me thinks, anyway they were p***h and that's that. {Ed001's Note - the added on time is a minimum amount, not a maximum.}

Believable8 Unbelievable11

Extra added because of County players wasting time.Stay in your own division mate, the SPL should not be bothering you after your team of internationals gave a hiding to Eastsomethingshire.

Agree10 Disagree10

He also missed a stonewall Celtic penalty but hey ho.... x

Agree6 Disagree2

What about sevco franchise last gasper against Peterhead.Sevco franchise the team that keeps on giving.Long may it continue.

Agree4 Disagree3

Reply to (1).

Eastsomethingshire - you should show some respect to the clubs in lower divisions rather than slag them off. You and the likes of you are the reason why Rangers and the rest of Scottish football will be much better off without the SPL (and the SPL would be better off without Celtic).

Bigbaloobear

Agree4 Disagree2

Several times I saw Celtic players remonstrate to the ref regards how long Ross Tokely was taking with throw-ins. By the way and it's easy checked on you tube, goal was scored 92.42 how many Gers myths are we gonna have to put down this week?

The Brazilian serie D (Brazilian 4th tier) is set up very differently from what we understand as a league format. There are 40 teams in it, divided into 8 regional groups of 5. After home and away matches (8 games) the top two clubs in each region go through to a home and away knockout competition. Arguably comparable to the SPL's break-up after 33 games.

ALL GAMES IN THE REMAINING TWO LEGGED AFFAIRS ARE STILL DEEMED AS SERIE D FIXTURES AS EVERYONE BAR THE SEMI-FINALISTS ARE NOT PROMOTED.

In the quarter-final tie Santa Cruz v Treze October 16th 2011 the attendance was 59,966. So it wasn't even a glamour final like they have in Wembley as some have suggested.

Much like the claims that you would be the first club to win all 4 domestic titles you were wrong on another "record" attempt.

But fair play to you, at least you are becoming more exotic, the first "new world record" you were claiming we only had to look as far as Dumbarton to debunk.

Keep trying guys, I hear Bocanegra is only 14 away from being "the player who took the most shies with a northeasterly breeze behind him."

How proud you will feel and congratulations in advance :)

Believable5 Unbelievable16

Like the way your sneering at the fans. As if it wasn't the papers talking sh*t, get a grip.
Dtp89

Agree6 Disagree3

It slightly ironic that you are suggesting Rangers fans were getting over excited about a world record, yet you are soooooo desperate for it not to be true. Your obsession is very sad.

Agree6 Disagree3

Shut up you muppet it was 50887 the record held by Santa cruz so we missed out by 1700 look anyway this is the bottom line one 3rd div game beat the attendance of all the games in the top flight put together you keep telling yourself that it means nothing but we will continue to laugh every second week when one 3rd div match has more support than all the spl games combined now go leave us in peace and concentrate on your big fantastic spl lol

Agree5 Disagree4

What four domestic titles did dumbarton win spl??

Agree3 Disagree1

Tell you what why not just google highest attendance record for a fourth tier match and see what comes up guess the rest of the world is wrong lol ...mark.

Agree6 Disagree4

Dtp nobody forced you to believe it, nobody forced Gers to put it in here as fact, forget getting a grip, just get some facts.

Agree2 Disagree1

@ 3) That was a game in Sept 2010 not October 2011, read, engage brain, type. I have no clue what order you're doing it in.

@ 2) I was giving you facts, I know you hate them but some of us find them quite relevant when the term "world record" is bandied about.

Agree3 Disagree1

@ 4) Dumbarton won the old top division, the old division one twice.

Agree0 Disagree1

@5: who cares? Would you rather have that record or be in the SPL? How the 'mighty' have fallen.

Agree4 Disagree2

@5: none of the press has the Brazilian match but the stats are there and cannot be disputed. It seems it was a fourth tier match too. Or is that a 'timmy' conspiracy?

I thought Adam dictated the game personally, you need someone to do the job Fergie used to do

Agree1 Disagree3

Berra is garbage.

Agree5 Disagree0

Take out Brown, Berra, Caldwell and it doesn't look too bad. Mind you take out Levein too as he couldn't pick his nose. Nearly as bad as Berti Bassett was.

That is quite possibly the worst defence I have ever seen, and I remember Konterman and Malcolm playing together at Rangers.

Why discuse Scotland team on the Rangers sight , a bit of mischive makeing me thinks

Just to clear things up

The Money Collected in buckets at Ibrox on Saturday , was nothing to do with the Rangers fans fighting fund, although RFFF badges were on sale.

The Buckets held by ex-servicemen wearing their Old service Caps, was for an Andover based charity for injured Troops.

The Buckets with People with white tee-shirts on were for the Rangers Charity foundation - Charity No. SC033287

No requirement now to give up the Broomloan Stand for away support at any home games. Hope we get Celtic at home in one of the cups and pack them in the corner. Sounds good!

First game pal let's see how many you have in a few months and why would u want Celtic they would pump you

Instead of signing older players why don't we sign more 17-18 year olds send them out on lone to get experience in higher leagues and we reap the benefits next season when the transfer embargo sets in.

There are no Champions League games tomorrow Briggs, there are some qualifiers though.

Is it really worth cheering a home win against East Stirling, who lose most of their matches in SFL3 anyway? This should be more like a pre-season training. I mean, the whole season should be like pre-season training, ready for the real games in a year or two's time.

Believable8 Unbelievable12

Yes, considering for a time it looked like we wouldn't be playing any football this year. I for one will go to every home game and cheer {Ed039's Note - This is a point I have been trying to make, although midweek games are no good for me with my shifts so my bro will use my ticket)

There's regulations against that sort of thing and pricing AVERAGE across a period. It's also challengeable in the courts. If a team or any business losses revenue, straight to the court of session. No judge would let Green away with such a dastardly (but typically Rangers) act.
Lastly, it really is a nasty dirty little concept isn't it? I mean what kind of rotten individual would think that up, think that they are clever, and be deluded enough to think you'd get away with it?.............answer: obviously an ill educated Rankers fan!

in response to the guy who said, rangers win every leaugue they are in, aka the third division and up, and others who rsponded by saying we didnt win the champions league. two things, though its called the champions league, it isnt striclyma league.its a knock out competition. second the only reason we didnt win it, was because we didnt over spend enough, con the tax man etc. other wise we would have. therefore we exercised prudence, which we are currently being shot down for.not doing!! you cannot win with some people

Sports Direct staff are telling customers they are now selling Rangers products full time - was in shop yesterday. Ashley must have done a deal - good job as JJB about to collapse anyway based on their figures.

Believable5 Unbelievable3

Sports direct are taking over JJB.

And why do you think jjb are about to collapse. when they went with rangers we stopped using them. watch sports direct go the same way. pretty sure no other scottish fan other than your good selves will put money into the rangers via them.. shamrock

don't know about you fello bears, but am getting increasingly p'd off with the dark side coming on slaggin us for winning saturdays game. WE didn't choose to be in this league, we can only keep winning and get promotion, up the ladder. The difference for me at the weekend = Rangers beat a team we were expected to beat & scored 5 goals in the process. Celtic once again scored a last minute equaliser, against a team just promoted and who their support expected to beat handsomely. As for nelly's tantrum about players going through the motions, what do you expect// ina NOrmal season the loss of 2 points might have made the difference between winning & losing the league - this year & for the next 3/4 - it doesn't matter - nobody will be challenging at the end of February.

enjoy your boring title ghirls

bil72

Believable27 Unbelievable19

Bil72 if you know in your heart of hearts that the Rangers score was the better one then why are you getting p'd off? Me thinks the lady doth protest too much.

Agree7 Disagree8

Correction : You's did choose to be in that league, as a new football club, new company, new entity you had to apply to get into a league, alternatively you could have played non-league football, alas rules were bent, strings pulled to allow you into the Scottish 3rd division, the lowest, senior, professional league in the UK, much to the dismay and injustice to other clubs who were more entitled to entry into that league, clubs such as Spartans FC and Cove Rangers FC
Finbar

Agree12 Disagree12

Why do you think the spl will be boring, and the third division wont. baffling reasoning. you will have won that long before the spl is over.. shamrock

Agree7 Disagree4

No more boring than playing with an spl side in the 4th tier of Scottish football against part timers if you don't walk it then it's an embarrassment but how is it different from Celtic walking the spl at least we get European football at end of it

Agree8 Disagree4

Are you mad? You beat the worst team in Britain, who are part time, using pretty much a team full of internationals! To compare that to two SPL teams, one of which have not lost a league game in a year,is frankly ridiculous.

Agree9 Disagree6

Pot kettle bil, you enjoy your boring title too. only difference is, we will get more of a challenge than you will against the part timers
frankiebhoy

Agree8 Disagree6

Lol you dont do irony do you,if Celtic winning the SPL is boring and prdictable, how boring does that make the 3rd Newco are spending SPL wages to beat part timers. As for Celtic fans being on here, this is the old Rangers site, ex our biggest rivals, why are you a newco fan on here is a better question? Its called banter, just cause you are on the recieving end it is still allowed

Bill, who cares about them? i dont. Just leave them to play in their Mickey Mouse league ;)

Deary me Bill....when did you score your equaliser against the mighty peterhead? What about your boring title win in the worst league in Scotland or do you expect a hard fought league campaign? I suppose Ally doesn't fill you with much confidence eh?
Ps Celtic are slow starters in the league do you remember last season when we gave you a 21 pt lead and then blow you away or have you forgot that already?

Briggs

Agree7 Disagree8

Briggs I agree with most of what you said until you stated 21 point lead....thats gash mate and you know it...we blew a 9 point lead that is all...you had many a game in hand and dont come out with the old "we still had to win them gash" it doesnt wash mate, we are both in mickey mouse leagues and billy should really think it through b4 he writes something lol...but seriously that 15 point or 21 point stuff does annoy me as it is all nonsense..that is all

@10: would you rather have points or games in hand. It wasn't a 9 point lead - the table said 15 but you keep telling yourself that games in hand are better so you don't feel so bad about your side blowing a massive lead before entering a black hole in February.

Agree3 Disagree1

Good try Bill we know you tripped yourself up then come back with the old 'fishing' crap! Anyway maybe engage your brain before you post. Tam-sir maybe it annoys you but its true mate if we didn't win those games in hand then it would have been 21pts.

One of the billionaires about to invest in the club is Mike Ahsley. Sports direct have just secured the rights to sell Rangers replica strips etc (this is the reason JJB have been almost giving them away) The deal was signed last week and will be announced this week. The superstore at Ibrox will also become a Sportsdirect shop. Rangers will now take a % of sales unlike the JJB deal. Another good bit of business by the club and Mr Green ............. and before anyone asks, it's the same home strip!

Believable13 Unbelievable7

@OP: for the time being. BDO and HMRC might not allow the newco to trade with the trappings of the old one.

Agree6 Disagree7

Sports direct shops have s green background and gold lettering brand.
The 5 stars have to come off all strips and training gear.

Agree5 Disagree4

Same home strip as what?? how many strips have you had this year? stars, stripe, no stars.no stripe, stars and sponsor and no stripes . . . 54 stars in brackets, no sponsor, sponsor, no stars. goes on and on. more costume changes than Danny La Rue.

Agree5 Disagree7

Man, you people are obsessed with Billionaires!

Agree4 Disagree3

So Ashley invests ?? how much? then gets the largest percent of selling our tops etc then he also gets the shop..? what kind investors have we got in charge? this is like a bloody fire sale !invest your money for short period get it all back in short period also strip the place dry for short period before walking away with the crwon jewels. God have we never learnt anything out of this/

Believable5 Unbelievable6

10 or 6 million st ... Was it all cash... Little consumer protection, unlike credit cards as before...... Hmmmmmmm ... If newco go into admin green gets all the st money to pay his rescue loan.... And fans stuffed....again

£2m of that £10m is 20% vat!!!
All that money has to pay wages and bills until next year. It takes £40m to run the club per year. Plus vat, national insurance and PAYE on everything.

Fed up listening to guys like u if u dont like the way green is running things you dont have to give him or the club any money.
