Refreshing to see warburton taking notice of the poor performances he says he needs some physical and mature players hopefully we have some identified there are clear holes in our team and game plan he also says we need someone with some creative spark nice to see he is taking note over to King and co to step up and provide funds.

20 Dec 2015 21:13:57
If I was mw I'd forget about getting the young lad from Liverpool on loan we need experience in January. I wouldn't be surprised if hibs got either allan are stokes on loan. In my opinion who ever does the best business in January will win the league.

21 Dec 2015 07:15:39
Yes and the worry is the Hibs are on the ascendancy.

A win for them next week together with better business will put us on the brink of failure again.

Brings back nightmares of Celtic coming back from 15 points behind - Hibs having closed the gap from 11 behind!

20 Dec 2015 19:42:24
We are a total joke of a team, we've been found out big time, no shape, no plan b, just be in our faces and play 5 in the midfield and you'll be alright, simple, we where a disgrace yesterday, we can say aww we had all the possession, their keeper played well, blah blah blah, at the end of the day, Morton at home, draw, Falkirk away, defeat, we will not win this league, Hibs have bottle, a team full of fighters, something we haven't got, haliday should've took that pen as well yesterday, waghorns pens are too predictable, not looking forward to playing Hibs next week, they'll be too strong! Oduwa is terrible Barry McKay is terrible, Nikki law was the best player on the park as well yesterday, and he only got 25 mins, tells you all you need to know!

20 Dec 2015 21:03:39
Yeah it's been very pops and this has been coming for a while now. Still some fans can't see it and making the same excuses they made for Ally. If Warburton thinks we only need 2 players in January then he is in for a big fall. Nothing but automatic promotion is good enough.

20 Dec 2015 20:42:46
Colin mcdonald this is my personal message to you and all the other doubting thomas rangers fans, get behind our manager mark warburton and the team instead of at the first bad run in warbs rebuilding job turning on everything at the first sign of trouble.

I'm very confident our management team will fix our slump in form, every team has a lul period in a season and we're having ours, simples, have some faith for gods sake, when we come out our bad run these will be the same fans who'll be shouting from the rooftops about how good we are, fickle is what I call these rangers fans! Warburton and weir will sort it out and imo we'll win the league, the rebuilding job is only 6 months old guys!

20 Dec 2015 22:26:08
this season is like day and night to last season trouble with some of the fans they want instant success this isn't the days of murray and the rest of the spivs. mark w is trying to build a team on a low budget. king has already put millions into rangers. he's being cautious this time and so would i if i had his cash.

cast your mind back to Barcelona at ibrox even they couldn't get through gers iron curtain, put a brick wall up you need a bulldozer to get through it. gus on here critiscing waghorn and mckay i'd see the point if the weren't trying to remember waghorn saved our skin in a few games and they weren't penalties.

21 Dec 2015 08:32:44
Bigdimps

Trying to build a team on a low budget? Can you tell which team in the championship has a higher budget than Warburton please?

20 Dec 2015 19:40:34
sorry, one more gripe,

What on earth is the point of a link with Gala Fairydean? no disrespect to them, but surely even with out current financial state we have higher aspirations than this?

20 Dec 2015 21:17:53
It is a coaching link up and also to try and pick up promising talent in the borders where we have never had any presence and I think it's what I would rather build from but I take it from your flippant post that you think we should be linking up with with teams of a higher status than us and indeed turn our youth set up into some sort of nursery for those clubs.

21 Dec 2015 01:01:42
Wee bill I reminded another on here that vary was playing non league football before leicester city moved for him, would you knock back a player like him if he was found at gala fairy dean? Thought not.

20 Dec 2015 19:28:30
the better leagues in Europe have 16, 18 or 20 team leagues and the smaller countries and mickey mouse ones have 10 or 12.
As we constantly bury our heads in the sand, are we finally saying we ALSO are a mickey mouse country? Our international results are terrible, our performances in Europe are terrible, does this not tell us its time finally for a major change of direction?

20 Dec 2015 21:04:50
Totally agree and the really sad thing is that our current team would struggle to make the top 6 in one of the worst leagues in Europe.

20 Dec 2015 22:50:51
Are u a parrot? How many times are u going to repeat that. Maybe u should think about supporting another team as u have not got a good word to say about our team with fans like u who needs enemies. R u one of these guys who couldn't find ibrox with a sat nav? How about getting behind our young team and manager that's what real supporters do through the good times and the not so good times. can't believe some of the posts on here. imho we will win this league.

20 Dec 2015 19:28:16
Whilst its widely accepted that 4-3-3 is the best formation for development of total football re Cruyff etc. there has to be a degree of flexibility in any team's tactics. I know Barcelona are the best example of 4-3-3, but even they change - albeit tweak - to suit the opposition. Bayern Munich played no less than 9 different formations this year for various opponents. Ok these teams have world class players, the point is even the best teams change their shape. As much as I enjoy the football we r playin now, I hate to see lesser teams ripping us apart. There has to be a plan
B C &D otherwise every team will just
Hit us on the counter. If u want to play like Barcelona u need players like Barca.

20 Dec 2015 21:06:42
They also have world class managers too. You also have to remember that we aren't up against the same teams that Barcelona play every week so that really balances your argument out.

20 Dec 2015 19:58:23
Totaly agree bud with our full backs we need play 3 at back 2 wingbacks 3 midfield 2 strikers 3.2.3.2. our full backs that far up pitch sometimes it like we playing 2.3.5. something got to change if not we in championship next year too.

21 Dec 2015 05:47:44
Simply put Tav's a Wallace aren't defenders in this system. They are Wingers and have been found wanting. They push too high and are leaving our central defender vulnerable. This would not be such an issue if we have a mobile, experienced DM who acts as that protection to slow the play down and break it up when the opposition breaks. Poor Halliday has tried but he is no DM.

20 Dec 2015 12:29:00
I don't think the panic button should be pressed just yet. The hibs game is important, but not too important. What happens in the transfer window is what os important. Will we get guys in? Will hibs lose Cummings and mcginn? Imo these are the deciding factors of where the title will go.

20 Dec 2015 14:08:07
**** HIBS! Rangers to win on boxing day no matter what.

And hopefully glentoran bate linfield lol.

20 Dec 2015 14:24:39
Cockadoodle door my friend, whole heartedly agree with the first part of your post, not so the latter mate.

20 Dec 2015 14:52:31
I've got my ticket for boxing day c'mon linfield.

20 Dec 2015 15:04:10
Hard one to call lads, both shite this year, Mon the bluesđŸ».

20 Dec 2015 14:16:00
For me the alarming thing is we don't seem to have deals lined up, we need the right players brought in when the window opens not at the end of January when hibs have got ahead of us.

Cannot see hibs selling Cummings or mcginn unless they get offered silly money. They are talking about splashing the cash not selling, and from their point of view they are perhaps only one star player away from having a real chance of winning the championship. They seem to have made a serious but unsuccessful attempt to sign Allan and stokes- hibees I know seem to think chrstie will join when Inverness loan expires on 1 January. He would be a big player for them.

20 Dec 2015 16:56:54
What is the ruling on using a trialist in a league game, if MW is seriously thinking of giving the young latvian a contract why not if possible throw him in for the hobos game.

20 Dec 2015 18:24:07
I heard rangers were linkes with gavin white he plays in irish league smashing player plays on the wing.

20 Dec 2015 18:55:21
My cousins are hatchet men and rave about him, would apparently do us a turn.

20 Dec 2015 18:14:08
How do u know there's nothing already lined up luigi. Warbs quoted today saying we will add experience and steel to the squad in January who will hit the ground running in the championship and be ready for the step up next year.

Glad about this even tho the kids are doing well I feel we need someone to boss the middle of the park. Not ready to hit the panic button yet we are still top and plenty of time to break away. Everyone needs to calm down. No-one cares when the rotting mob loses cause they will win the league at a canter and it's the same with us as far as I'm concerned.

20 Dec 2015 19:57:19
Gavin white is better than what we have hibs also looking at him đŸ˜±.

20 Dec 2015 21:08:25
Hibs will also look to strengthen in January and right now I would trust his judgement for players over Warburton.

20 Dec 2015 21:49:36
All this hype about Hibs is just that - hype! Spoke to a Hibs supporter yesterday who goes to the games and he says his team has been rank rotten for weeks but they just keep getting the results. Don't worry, this mob's luck is going to run out at some point. I haven’t been impressed by them at all and remember how jammy they were to beat us in the last game. I can't believe some of the comments on here. We are a new team, 6 months old. I'm going to stick my neck out and say we will win this league by at least 10 points.

20 Dec 2015 23:02:32
Biffo warbs signings have all been decent the worst 1 is probably wilson and I'd say that was more David weir.

20 Dec 2015 10:59:32
Ok, let's look at things objectively and pinpoint where warbs and weir have fallen short.

1. From the very outset warbs identified John eustace position as key to everything and that and experienced holding mid was vital! With me so far! So why has he never bolstered that position when it was evident eustace was not going to make it. Warbs has failed on that one.

2. Big davies influence on the centre defence is nil, you would expect and think that his influence would rub off, after all he was over 36 and had the positional brain to not get caught out, these are younger guys and you would think that they were faster, wouldn't you? This tells be that the back two are total useless and not listening to the big guy, as for tab, I like him but he is clueless defender, if the side door of Falkirk stadium he would still be running around the kelpies like a person,
HF gers cumon get a grip.

20 Dec 2015 11:47:26
I agree, but I also think we should give Ball more of a run as a ball winner in midfield, he has only played once there.

20 Dec 2015 12:40:47
Well said, MW has been hailed as a God with all this "in warbs we trust" nonsense. He has a real problem on his hands and if he can't sort it out then we have the wrong man in charge. I'm not advocating sacking him but he needs a kick up the rear- the club cannot survive another season on the championship, we would fold.

Not so long ago people were talking about trying us walking away with league- if we lose to hibs then they might do that.

Hibs have got to be big favourite for the game even if it's at ibrox- we are in poor form, all over the place at the back, far too slow in possession and no ideas going forward. We need to sort out the chasm between our defence and midfield and the vast spaces we leave in the channels when both full backs abandon their positions. Attacking we need to practice some more imaginative moves in training- and corners!

20 Dec 2015 15:36:23
Stuzo I said on here a couple of weeks ago that was my only gripe in regards m. w. was him not getting in a player once he knew eustence was struggling, but apart from that I me happy enough with m. w. and his putting a team together in a few weeks, a team that is sitting top of the league.

he has only had one transfer window so let's see how he gets on in this window, but players and manager are coming to a new country not known what was expected of the, ( to the degree they now know we expect them to win every game) it takes time to settle in and gel, I think some of our supporters are going way over the top, I look at the difference from the last two years and i'm glad of where we now find our selfs.

20 Dec 2015 17:07:11
Luigi, yeah I remember your post, must be frustrating for big davie, a mean wtf did Wilson try to get the ball with his left foot ffs, a know he's left footed but any pro will tell ya that was a right foot challenge aw day long, players should be comfortable wi both feet or they should go play Sunday league. Got to be ball and the Exxon Valdez, in defence next week, and tavneier needs to get a grip and back track. We need to shock hibs and play 4-4-2, the two up front waggy and miller, as miller is always good against those nasty hibbbbbbys, by the time they suss us out we will rip the piss out o them, we need a surprise as Stubbs thinks he's got the sign on us.

20 Dec 2015 16:57:34
Agreed regarding centre backs, dire need for a holding midfield player and comments reference Tav., but Wallace should not escape criticism either. He is also poor defensively and his back tracking and covering is poor. What is more he is not a leader. I want a quality centre back, a quality holding / defensive midfield player and a striker that can take chances.

21 Dec 2015 18:29:17
Tom42 I think the problem with Wallace and tav is mainly due to them wanting score goals rather than defend them, which is fair enough (scoring goals ) but they were brought to the club to defend more so than to score goals. just my opinion.

20 Dec 2015 10:16:23
Can't understand all the crap that is coming from so called rangers supporters hibs and Falkirk are decent teams and would give most teams in the pre a run for their money we are playing teams that are packiing their penalty box and hopping for to hit us on the break.

20 Dec 2015 11:00:05
The crap that's been coming is because we have squandered an 8 point lead in the 2nd tier of Scottish football when we have a massive playing budget compared to every team in the league, because the same defenders are making the same mistakes but still get picked, all the teams have Sussed our tactics out, we manager has already admitted he has no plan b, we have strikers who can't score, midfielders with no dig, we can't score from corners and the players aren't good enough. Hope that sheds some light on why a lot of real Gers fans are unhappy.

20 Dec 2015 11:28:26
Who is going to replace the defenders you want dropped? You talk about the 2nd biggest budgets In Scottish football but we have a small squad. The manager has only had 1 transfer window to bring in players he wants and that was probably rushed.

20 Dec 2015 11:36:04
Biffo, can't argue with that.
Some bears just can't see the bigger picture.

We play some nice football at times, normally have 60/70% of the posession, but if there isn't an end product then its a waste.
Not forgetting most of that posession is in our half!

The best defender is the young Spurs lad that appears to be 3rd choice and as for the other 2 loanees? no end product.
I can't understand why warbs is giving them education at the exspence of some of our own youngsters.

20 Dec 2015 14:33:23
Got to agree biffo. can we have another year minimum in championship? no. i think investors would pull out and we would be the new leeds united. if we don't go up this year let's just raise the white flag.

20 Dec 2015 17:01:48
Investors pulling out? We have yet to see King invest his own money! We need three quality players + the two Eastern European guys that are currently on trial, to come in during the January transfer window.

A holding midfield player, ideally a captain, is needed urgently and so to is a goalscorer and a top notch centre back. Ideally there are a couple of top players in the English First Division or in a top league overseas that is reaching the end of their contract and can be signed for a decent fee. One thing is for sure we won't get quality for nothing!

20 Dec 2015 20:05:35
Im not saying king tom42, where did he get 5 million from. not from his account. 3 bears park etc these men want a return on there money. i feel the writing may be on the wall for us if we don't go up.

21 Dec 2015 18:30:32
Tom Mr king has already invested 8 million of his own money,
