who all has the horrible feeling ally will still play one upfront this season.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Jbear that's a stick on certanty that's the way walter showed him and though I think walter smith was good for rangers the big difrence is walter smith had a team of good players they done as they were told as apposed to ally a few half decent players that do as they please

Agree0 Disagree0

Could'nt agree more, he only no's one way to play. long baw

Agree0 Disagree0

I don't have a horrible feeling I know he will that's why he signed miller and boyd

Agree0 Disagree0

I see your point r. f but we have won both leagues by a mile, we bought players from the top tier that have been up for player of the year rather than solid players on a 2 year contract not on thousands a week with the youth we have and the players that stayed the end result would of been the same with millions in the bank

Board set to give fans groups assurances that ibrox won't be sold off short term, what does that mean once season tickets sold then a sell off?. sorce newspapers

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Mac that must be what it means cause these board members nor there bosses will ever invest another penny of there own unless its to buy penny shares ime hearing the big hitters in london are on the sos side re garentee ibrox nor mp will be sold or leased out but I can't see how this is possible cause there ain't enough tickets sold to see this season through

Agree0 Disagree0

If the season starts well ibrox will be full and they will be better off than season books I also hear wallace may be on the move giving them more money

Agree0 Disagree0

21 Jul 2014 11:19:59
herd they will try and sell wallace to if this is true they better prepare for backlash from the fans

Knowing the way this has been going though, it will be Graham Wallace that is on the move. :-)

Agree0 Disagree0

The board better watch out for the "blacklash from the fans", is this the fans who are buying st, ( that's your choice) but cherry picking better seats for themselves at the same time, from fans who are protesting by not buying st. yeah, the board must be shaking in their boots over a possible sale of wallace with fans like that, divided and failed!!

Agree0 Disagree0

If you buy a st why not pick the best seat that suits you?

Agree0 Disagree0

Post 6 - I don't know. maybe down to having morals and a conscious for the fans fighting for a future and a club, but maybe the 1st 2 points have already gone at our great club!!

Agree0 Disagree0

Lexlau if you had waited a few weeks you would have sat were you wanted cause I think there will be lots of empty seats still I hope you enjoy yourself and let's hope the beard don't run out of money eh season ticket money a gonner but if we don't you can say to us that won't be back I told yous so eh great conscious clear

Just watched the Sacramento game and was really impressed with Gilberto in midfield fir them, very good on ball and really quick arguing park. With great vision. He was stand out. Realize he's not joined them long but we've been looking at a cm and he's a cracker wee player. Just what were missing.

SB12

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Fully agree. Stood out from the first minute. And our greatest lack on the park is precisely this pace and athleticism. Regrettably, with our "coaching" team's eye for a player, it is highly unlikely they will even have noticed the boy.

Agree0 Disagree0

SLB must agree with you mate andy robertson bieng an example maybe our coaching staff never noticed young robertson because he was an ex celtic youth surely not

Agree0 Disagree0

Tmwnn rangers signed Dylan mcgeouch who was an ex celtic youth, until he rejoined them

Agree0 Disagree0

Gonzalez also caught my eye

JG

Agree0 Disagree0

They also signed mo johnston but I was refering to ally he never signed mo or dylan mgcgough my point being ally would not know a good free signing if he put 5 past us at ibrox

How do u guys know we haven't asked about the player or we didn't enquire about Robertson at the time not everything comes out in papers
r.f

Agree0 Disagree0

If that was your point, then why say maybe our coaching staff never noticed young Robertson because he was an ex celtic surely not

Agree0 Disagree0

Rf if rangers had shown an interesr in young robertson it would have been all over the media stop trying to cover ally he just ain't got it as manager lexlau I don't get your post that is what I typed please explain

I anticipate a bit of stick for this post but here goes. I'm not alone in being inspired by the phoenix rising from the ashes, the journey back to the top, the chance to re build and to build a new Rangers.

The manager constantly is quoted as saying there never has been a Rangers team where four or five youngsters came through the ranks at the same time and many journalists have backed this up. There never was a time when we were plunged into the 4th tier either and this needs mentioning.
The vision of rebuilding from within our own ranks or youth players from around Scotland has not been grasped and we're facing having the oldest team in Britain.

Sure there's merit in bringing back Boyd and Miller and McCoist will always find a place for Black and McCullough and we'll have to grin and bear it but the vision of building a new exciting brand from within our own ranks has been lost and what an opportunity missed. Our top under 20's could do a lot worse than speaking to their agents and looking to move on.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Kfraser, 100% in agreement. As you may have noted from some of my posts, I am not for our manager but I think his failings have been used by others to try to deflect attention from their systematic rip-off of our club funds.

Agree0 Disagree0

Kfraser don't doubt yourself with this post you speak a lot sense and doubt if any will give you a hard time, I know if rangers were after my son and I hate to say this but I would say no, past experiences show Kids would get a better chance elsewhere of this their is no doubt.

Agree0 Disagree0

Op well in mate a lot of us think the same eh I think ally is as bad as his teacher in doing favorite players ie the ones he brought in ally had a chance to be givin more than hero status ie start again using youngsters and though ally was a player we could rely on for goals ime sorry to say that's as far as ally will go in my eyes anyway

Just read the report this morning of our second game. rather than the result I was more interested in our line up and yes you've guessed it big jig AGAIN in the middle of midfield. lm not having a go at the big guy but come on. this tells me he wil be the first name on team sheet week in week out. this is the type of decision that tells me ally is a sh@%#bag. absolute disbelief at this.
Oh and incaes no one knows we won 2-1

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Bigcol There was an article on another site (which I didn't read) but the strapline was big Jig could emulate Davie Weir so if it was Ally you might have another 4 years of this

Agree0 Disagree0

I think we were glad when big jig stayed around I don't think any other team were looking at him but trying to make him into a davie weir c'mon no disrespect to big jig but he couldn't lace big davies boots but not many in the world could he made defending look easy at times never mind doing it at his age

tmwnn Let me start by saying 100% this is not an opinion but simply another what if - another perspective.E.G we see things from the Ger's perspective only and not from the rest of Scottish football's perspective. here is another perspective on Jig's decision.

He is a 34 year old on £15,000 a week. Will he get £15,000 a week anywhere else? Will he be as happy as he is captaining the team he supports?

Our perspective we are grateful to Jig for his loyalty

Another perspective was this really a difficult decision and was it completely selfless only to help the cause?

The same could be said about Ally.

The "Super" fans will always be grateful to him but after two first round failures in Europe losing the league and the two domestic cups in his first season as manager was he flooded with other offers?

His performance over the last 2 years will probably not have increased his options- from this fan's perspective.

Agree0 Disagree0

Nbear I know exactly what your saying mate but my opinion on jig staying was he had no option and if he had moved it could only have been a downward move imo and I've seen people thinking super will move next season but it won't be a football move I can't see any other club wanting him his cv will say bought 2 league tittles but couldn't buy cup success
