Nacho novo will sign for his first Scottish club raith rovers within the next week, remember where you heard it first, ram

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Seriously? Who cares!

Agree0 Disagree0

As long as he doesn't sign for rangers.

Agree0 Disagree0

Thank goodness he, s not signing for us. The lad was a tryer, but not good enough 5 years ago and now def not as good as what we have. Not wanted or needed.

couldny make this stuff up eh. lennon and his gang must be just ecstatic as another semi-serious competitor bites the dust. so whos the competition now. Dundee utd. lol. Aberdeen. lol. motherwell??. this is just a big joke. roll on when we are back in that crap league giving them some decent competition. only snag is lennon will be gone by then boasting of course that he's the most successful tic manger ever. deecee

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Sir Walter got hailed a hero when rangers beat nobody for 7 of his 9 in a row

Agree0 Disagree0

How many points were they behind last year but I suppose this is all celtics fault as usual eh

Agree0 Disagree0

And why are you bothered so much? Rangers are in a different division so why even mention Lennon? As it happens I think Rangers missed a shout in McInnes as Ally clearly is not up for the job. I expect Aberdeen to be a much stronger side than in recent years

Agree0 Disagree0

You are the cause of a so called "crap League" with your over spending and underhand dealing. Your also light years away from challenging anyone let alone Celtic.

Agree0 Disagree0

Number 4 come in your time is up we are coming to get you

Agree0 Disagree0

Why a rangers a miles away from Celtic? We still have the second best team in Scotland with new players and would still defo finish 2nd if we were in the spl now. Our strongest team Bell, Wallace, bocanegra, Goian, Mitchell/cole, templeton, law, McLeod, sheils, mcculloch, daly/Clark. And that's not even including the likes of Peralta, McKay and smith. Now compare that to the current Motherwell team (who have lost most of they're best players anyway). How could anyone say that over a whole season we would not finish second? Ridiculous!

Agree0 Disagree0

@5/ Couple of years plodding in the lower reaches first mate. Enjoy the journey though won't you.

Agree0 Disagree0

@ 6 simple - you have Ally managing the team - you'd be lucky not to be relegated.

Agree0 Disagree0

The most successful team in scotland is the glasgow rangers so get used to it

Agree0 Disagree0

At 6. Mitchel, Cole, Peralta, Mckay, Clarke, these guys have not even been tested at first division level let alone SPL.

the only thing rangers come second in is the wage budget. I think Dundee Utd and Inverness put you firmly in your place last season on the park.

rangers are at least 5-7 years away from reaching celtic on the park and about 10 years away in financial terms.

McCulloch, Goian, Boacanegra, Daly are on the downward slop of thier careers and by the time The Rangers Reach the SPL they will be on the wrong side of 30.

Agree0 Disagree0

At 6, are you having a laugh, with the exception of bell and law, the players you listed were emabaressed in all 3 domestic cups you played in.

keep dreaming. wallace will go for no more than 800k and sick note stevie smith will take his place.

i wonder how long into the new season until the rangers fans turn on mccoist and his signings. my guess 2nd game

Agree0 Disagree0

@10: the players you mentioned are already on the wrong side of 30!

Agree0 Disagree0

22 Jun 2013 08:04:35
@1: he wasn't manager for all 9.

Agree0 Disagree0

20 Jun 2013 18:53:13
4 players to be made redundant at hearts. Maybe a chance to pinch someone?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

@OP: as if it's not bad enough for them to lose their jobs, you want to grab parts of their flesh too!

Agree0 Disagree0

They will be calling us hearts reserves soon

Agree0 Disagree0

And do you have any names?

Agree0 Disagree0

@1 pmsl magic mate

BDO Hearts Administrators are quoted as saying 'The solution has to be a quick sale'. If only HMRC had been able to get them on-board. Instead we had administrators who strung us along for a £5m+ fee, never sold players who could have covered a large portion of our debts (and walked for free anyway), and waited for a preferred bidder! What did Gordon Smith say the only time he said the only time he saw Craig White worried was when he thought the HMRC were going to get their own administrator appointed. Maybe because they would not pass the club onto a bid he was involved with. The whole thing stinks.
Even though White is not now involved I still do not trust those running the club and taking millions out for the privilege.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

There is no doubt liquidation could have been avoided.

Agree0 Disagree0

I think most of Scottish Football (well maybe apart from your Pals across the city) recognise that you were unlucky to get landed with Whyte and his approach to debt (£15m at the end of the day) Unfortunately the ordinary punter always ends up paying the price for the sins of the owner, i'm afraid to say.

Agree0 Disagree0

#2. ffs mate. a sensible answer! what is the world coming to?

Agree0 Disagree0

21 Jun 2013 17:35:26
Craig Whyte was the best thing to happen to rangers. he came in with a plan to shed the debt built up by the free-loading parasites in power, and only had the misfortune to be stuck with a balloon as manager and a squad that knew he wasn't worth trying for, and then for sevco Scotland to try rip him off. if Charlie green hadn't tried to do that then you, the fans, wouldn't have a clue about all the finances, dodgy deals etc that are being released, you would still be treated like blind loyal sheep, swallowing the same tired bull from the same pet media types. craig Whyte had the same investors, strokes to shift debt and carry on as before ffs you got liquidated, and still carry on like before so Craig Whyte is immaterial now, the same result was achieved-there being a rangers team playing in light blue at ibrox, with the debt shed, only his pockets aren't as heavily weighed down with the cash he thought he would have had. every ebt, wether legally used or not took more out of rangers than he did, he tried to save rangers did any of them?best thing about all this is that a lot of eyes have been opened, it won't be allowed to happen again, the more intelligent rangers fans won't sit back and blindly swallow the guff printed and spouted by media pets without asking questions. got to keep your eyes on them and not be waiting on the new league body and Campbell to tell you its okay if it maybe put in jeapordy again. all the best on your journey and the hoops will be waiting on you, bigger, stronger, richer and better than you lol

Agree0 Disagree0

@4
Meatloaf are to record an updated version of one of their most famous songs. It's called
"Two out of four ain't bad"
Celtic will never be "bigger" or "better" than the most successful club side in the world. lol.
P. O. B.

Agree0 Disagree0

3) Cool. I would maybe add further that the SPL and SFA must take a large amount of the responsibility. Rather than trying to bend the rules (which was what infuriated the rest of Scottish Football more than anything else)if they had taken a strong stance with Whyte and told him exactly what the consequences of his actions would be, he may then have taken a different course of action ( at least until the Big Tax case verdict was known) such as a share issue to plug your clubs funding gap at the time. Just my opinion and probably wrong. Good Luck.

Financially stricken Hearts want to play a money spinning friendly with Rangers next month to help raise money and keep the Jambos alive.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Hope of this is true that we go along with it. Loosing hearts would be the death of a historical Scottish side and the spl won't seem th same without them (just like without us). However I doubt that one friendly will do a lot to help.

Agree0 Disagree0

Op don't know if you are at wynd up but if true we surely must be to busy to entertain freindly games with spl or ex spl teams and before people tell me ime being childish its not childish its pure hatred for any spl team teams that kicked us when we where down they burned the bridges end off

Agree0 Disagree0

Let's not forget bears that in admin then liquidation only the business goes down the tubes but the football club remains! RFC then now and forever!

Agree0 Disagree0

No chance, help a club and their fans who were waveing 20 pound notes in our faces when we last played them, what goes around, comes around, ha ha ha!

Agree0 Disagree0

@4 yeah the same way funeral parade for Celtic when they ALMOST did what your dead club did mate! So Khama is a funny thing isn't it

Agree0 Disagree0

Nice thought and appreciated however I think the Hearts fans will be able to dig themselves out of the mire. Is a proud club.

can we use any of our new players in a pre-season game?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

20 Jun 2013 10:31:23
rangers to play bristol city at ashton gate 13th july

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Also sheffield wednesday @ hilsborough 24th July

Agree0 Disagree0

What happened to the tour of the states and germany, not to mention the glamour ties with Arsenal and LA Galaxy

Agree0 Disagree0

It's perfect for Rangers. No expensive flights to arrange. Just a free bus gifted from the Easdales, and staying in the Best Western using Chuckles reward points. Also a good opportunity to offload some players by stopping for a pee break at Charnock Richard services and driving off before Black and co come out of the toilets

Agree0 Disagree0

@2 think that was one of cg famous pledges that never happened along with the the 50 other mad lies

Agree0 Disagree0

hope u post this ed

Ive tried to highlight the wage bill before on here but to no avail
CG said last year the wage was over £7m (players only), now we have added another £1.5m with the new signings. This does not include the management team, coaches, and right down to the girl in the office, remember we must have another 100+ employees to pay and add council tax lecky and gas bills. Now our income after VAT is about £8m from S/Books, were else do we get money from??? let's walk before we run this time, please bears KEEP OUR EYES open

Believable0 Unbelievable0

£6. 5k per week on average?

No danger mate yes we have a couple of players on £7k but not an average over 21 players.

Do the maths and see for yourself, it'll be closer to £3.5m

Agree0 Disagree0

Goian willbe gone next week his agent has confirmed talks with more than one championship club.

Agree0 Disagree0

Il believe the Goian one when I see it hel get showed up in the Championship

Agree0 Disagree0

Goian would still defo play championship as heed better than plenty of the cb's in that league. But he'd prob only join a bottom 8 side and is much worse now than he was when with us in the spl. To be fair, back then, I'd say that both him and boca could have played for a low prem team such as Wigan or reading.

Agree0 Disagree0

Why do people think that ST's are out only source of income?! You have sponsorships (not just shirt) Strip sales, retail sales (and both of them are worldwide) matchday sales, corporate packages, stadium tours even down to the fee's the burger vans will have to pay to be at Ibrox, then you have the car park sales.

Agree0 Disagree0

@5 so if so lucrative a gig why did your club die in the first place?
Seriously you ain't so worldwide either mate so get rid of that little dream of your mate! £600k from a supposed worldwide supporter doesn't really say much does it!!

Agree0 Disagree0

@5/Wake up and smell the coffee mate. Ashley and Green have the merchandising tucked up between them. Ashley gets 49% of the income from this. Stadium tours and burger vans? Yea that'll bring millions in!

Agree0 Disagree0

@5: you do realise that Rangers won't make much from strip sales - Mike Ashley will, though.

Agree0 Disagree0

@6 funny because when I was in Australia last month there seemed to be a good supply of Rangers merchandise! 6&7 so Ashley will take 49% of strip sales? So where will the other 51% of the sales go? And how much do Rangers project strip sales will be? The amazing thing with retail shops is and it's a big secret this one they seek more than strips. You know DVDs and other memorabilia!

Agree0 Disagree0

@9 I just can't get over your post mate lol have you ever been to Australia? Honestly now mate!
Because I live in Australia and I have never seem a rangers shirt in any sports store there! Not rebel sports or even Jim kidd sports! So I think you are talking absolute mince mate! Fact is, the vast majority of people here would never of heard of Rangers mate! And the only time I have ever heard them mentioned was on SBS (you heard of that mate? Doubt it because I don't think you have ever been here to be honest) news when rangers died because they tend to report the boring nobody interested foreigner type news mate.
So worldwide fanbase my erchie mate!
What a balloon you are!

Agree0 Disagree0

@9: Puma will rake in most of the rest.

Agree0 Disagree0

@9 I live in Australia mate and I see heehaw rangers shirts mate and that is living in Perth too! So best you stop your wee lies mate! and please don't come back your ilk ain't welcome here mate!
Worldwide fan base my arse ya tube! Pmsl

Agree0 Disagree0

@9 yeah I live in Perth Australia and I haven't seen any rangers merchandise in the shops here mate! So stop your wee lies mate and grow up!
Theres no Rangers merchandise in rebel sports or even Jim Kidd sports mateand seriously now why would there be? The vast majority of people out here have never heard of Rangers lol! So you been caught out with your lies mate! I doubt if you have ever been out of the UK either!

Agree0 Disagree0

No-one has heard about us? And you say i'm telling lies?! So I was imagining it when the Rangers Supporters club in Perth hired a plane to fly over the Celtic game as a wind up? Or the first time I was in in Australia and watched the Rangers v Dundee United cup final and the Rangers v Werder Breman Uefa cup game on Setanta or the Rangers fans in the crowd at the Telstra Dome when Melbourne Victory beat some chinese mob and Kevin Muscat scored the winning penalty? And Funny I'm sure a Rangers Legend used to manage Perth Glory?! But no no your right I'm lying, made it all up! I will admit I've never been to any shops in Perth or Perth itself it was Melbourne, Narre warren just next to the big Pets At Home store!

And SBS? Wasn't bad, thought the on demand service was a bit poor tho!

Agree0 Disagree0

22 Jun 2013 00:38:46
@14 I think the point he was making was noone apart from expats are interested or even heard of rangers down under. Expats following their team when they move is not the same as having a worldwide fanbase like Man U.

Agree0 Disagree0

20 Jun 2013 07:35:00
Are Rangers playing in the States this summer like Green said? Need two bloody planes with all these players coming in.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Ally was the last to mention this. I would be amazed if Rangers were to make the states given the season is rushing towards us. The cost alone would suggest it's a no go.

Agree0 Disagree0

Quantity before quality! Well done ally!

Agree0 Disagree0

Ally said weeks ago his pre season was Germany and USA.

Agree0 Disagree0

20 Jun 2013 07:32:05
Can anyone list the players that we have brought in (pre-signed) for next season?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Cammy bell. Stevie Smith. Nicky law. Arnold peralta. Nicky Clark. Jon daly. Hopefully another two centre backs if we can shift some of the driftwood. Looking a lot stronger for this season anyway. Watp

Agree0 Disagree0

Daly
peralta
clark
law
smith
bell

Agree0 Disagree0

20 Jun 2013 06:13:56
rangers still need about 6 players if we want to compete in all competitions

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Forget about the 2 national trophies, you ain't that good, just settle for a run in The Ramsden, all you've bought is players no one else gave a jot about or players looking to top up a pension plan, then just throw Ally's cup record as a manager into the equation and I think 2nd Div and possible Ramsden double is your lot!

Agree0 Disagree0

Please tell me this is a wind up.

Agree0 Disagree0

You are joking right? How many players do every other team in this division have?

Agree0 Disagree0

Income from winning scottish/league/ramsden cup doesn't warrant anymore players. As long as we win the league and get promoted that shall be suffice.

Agree0 Disagree0

N3 other teams don't have as many players as us that's the reason they can't get further up the leagues
