Nerlinger in talks? Coming back?
Boyd up front up, is what we lack!
Miller is the choice, but not for all
Could be he is being set up for a fall!
CEO has promised that he will deliver
But what we ask? It is now or never!
Season Tickets, have been withheld
But at what cost, truth be told?
Is King loitering nearby with intent
With all that money to be spent?
This month is the most important of all
Because pride comes before a fall!

Fair enough BBB although I thought I was chilled out. Early stages but anybody think France might have a wee say in this World Cup.
@ Marathon Bear yes Clarkston Bud was entertaining- haven't seen him elsewhere but did spot Matt Crozier on another site.

Just seen on sky transfer new David goodwill has mutually terminated his contract at Blackburn. Did ally not take Boyd for this reason, knowing it would happen?

Christian Nerlinger as director of football? Neevr mentioned, now all of a sudden he's exactly what we need because he's linked. Laughable!

He has a very good cv. that's why it is a good appointment. look into his history as a sporting director before you make an comment.

Sounds like a potentially very good appointment.
If we had the money to actually pay him but we don't, do we?

Can't say for sure if he is the man or no but one thing is for sure. We need someone in this position. If only to stop McCoist signing any more of his old mates!

I never once said he wouldn't be a good appointment, what I said was it's laughable that he is "just what we need" all of a sudden because it's been talked about in the press. If he is just what we need, why has nobody mentioned it before now? Look into reading a post properly before you make a comment, finty.
No worries, tommy. Appreciate it.

Christian nerlinger is in talks about becoming chief football officer / director of football at ibrox. could be a good move as he's well respected in germany and done great things at bayern munich

Christian Nerlinger now theirs a name from the past possibly the new director of football, this is a role he had with Bayern Munich and is pals with Van Gal apparently he hold strong views on football and is not afraid of confrontation might just work thoughts please I'm unsure but we need someone to head our scouting team.

It could be an excellent appointment but trouble is if McCoist is still there, who signs the players and who picks the team?

Hope he is better than when he was a player expensive flop

We wouldn't need a director of football if we had a real manager.

If Nerlinger arrives and his appointment eases some of Ally's responsibilites, will this be reflected in the Super one's wages. Hard to see what part of Ally's job he would be doing as Ally never went to watch other players in the first place. Plus if Nerlinger is as opinionated as has been suggested this can only lead to clashes with Ally over players or in Ally's case which of his mates need a few £s for their pension fund. In all honesty I believe it would be a good move if only for the fact it would show up Ally's managerial deficiences and lead to a shift in the right direction football wise. Who knows I might end up re-newing yet.

Cheers geo the ger for the back up mate, we need to stick together as a unit, as us glasgow rangers fans has and always do! Everybody's got they'r own opinion, that's fair enough, but sticking together as we have been doing has got us back nearly back to where we want to be.

Have to agree with above post no matter what we think of the team, the manager or the board we can never go into a season hoping to fail. I want us to win the league and win the cups. However in reality and under Ally we won't win any cups
