Just watched TNS game. Forget score not important. It was a flavour on how Pedro will set up. Prob 4231. High press for 3 or 4 secs out of possession, whole team doing it on mass. Win ball and attack. Worked well as TNS couldn't get going. we created many oppertunies, in a competitive game with our 1st eleven that would have been 5 nil +. All players loomed fit apart from Niko but still effective in carving open a defence. Kenny Miller caused goal by dithering at our own 18 yard line lost posetion and they went in and and scored. Alfredo good hold up play with back to goal defender bounced off him. Waghorn looks hungry, not for fish n chips, and I think there is a player in there. He gets in great positions just needs confidence. The difference from last year we now have power, strength, skill, height, pace, competition for places, good squad depth, internationals and a coach who will if you think you can have an easy day in the Blue Jersey will put you balls in a vice. If you think it vital we won then go and support a diddy team where they would play a 442 lump the ball up and no doubt would have won 2-1. Football apparently is more technical, If you don't believe me ask the 60 countries above Scotland in the FIFA rankings.

The transfer market's a risk, no question. Two players from Mexico is stretching it a bit and we can only hope Pedro knows a lot more than we do but we need to get the likes of Dorrans and Walker in. We need Scottish players who get the picture. As an ex player was quoted recently, 50,000 fans backing you is great but when they're on your back, it's a nightmare.

Quality is quality and right now there are more quality Mexican players that there are quality Scottish players! I would like Dorrans but I would rather we spent money on a full back and picked Walker up on a free rather than give Hearts £1m for him!

Tav was mince! Every leak through the the defence is via him. Too high, gets caught out all the time, crap at defending and poor deliveries most of the time. Absolute weak link, Wallace doesn't get caught out nowhere near that amount. Time to shake his hand, thank him and get someone more defensive and tactically knowledgeable.

Is it possible that due to the fact the number of tops sold was probably far lower than expected that the chance of sticking with the same top for next season is a possibility DUE to this reason? There must be huge amounts of stock and with a change to the Retail Deal may be the best option from a financial point of view.
So thoughts Bears do ee think that this is the road, we will go ddown because of this reason?

{Ed039's Note - I would imagine the payments for season ticket holders on the CCS will be more or less instant and then public sale probably by Friday at latest, unfortunately the time i finish work won't allow me the time to travel the 100 miles because I like the rest of you would love to be there)

For season ticket holders on the ccs scheme will the smart cards be issued before the Europa games or will we get paper tickets sent out?

I'd imagine you use your smart card if you have it but if this is your first season you'll need a paper ticket until your smart card arrives, think that'll be mid julyish.

Alves won't be playing as he is on international duty until beginning july. Mckay probably not either. The 2 mexicans i can't see being involved either. Or highly unlikely.
My guess would be
Foderingham, tav, cardoso, bates, wallace, jack, kracjaer, canderias, dalcio, morelos, miller.
My own opinion is we are still a few players short. Must sign dorrens and walker. We must get a right back and i would see how we progress through next 2 rounds in europe if we do get through them. If money was to permit try and get a good quality cm. One at 2 to 3 million. For me jack is fine for spl in europe its doubtful.

Alves won't be there he is away with Portugal so it will be Wilson and cardoso at centre back and as for dorrens and the Mexicans it really depends on how quickly they get hear will they be fit after only 5days to a weeks training? Also I can see kranjcar starting

alves and Wilson are out, dorrasn doesn't play for rangers so hows he in your team?
I think he will line up 4-2-3-1 for the 1st leg of the 1st round.

Why do folk put teams up with players out of position. I'm seeing Dalcio up front when he's a winger. Dorrans in defensive midfield when he's an attacking midfielder.

Tav shouldn't be sold he creates too many chances i know some will argue his crosses come to nothing most of the time but that where we need better movement in the box. Same situation with Mckay.
id like to see how Tav plays with Candeias or Mckay ahead of him instead of Miller.

Bengy25, think he improved as a defender towards end of season. Just think with stronger central defence and cover from Jack he will be less exposed. Agree though that he needs to up his game and maintain at high level. Otherwise this manager will bin him (and any others) and quite rightly so.
