Just read that Rangers are interested in Darren Fletcher from Stoke. What does everyone think of that? Surely past it.

20 Jun 2018 21:03:52
Totally passed it.

20 Jun 2018 21:14:21
No thank you 5 years ago maybe

20 Jun 2018 21:19:58
Will be gutted if he signs he was on his last legs last year for Stoke

20 Jun 2018 21:20:41
Waste of money waste of a jersey and just a complete waste all round now

20 Jun 2018 21:25:49
No thanks

20 Jun 2018 21:35:05
No, rather have fletcher from porridge

20 Jun 2018 21:51:49
He's "passed" it and he passed it backwards too

20 Jun 2018 21:58:04
If fletcher had played all season Stoke would of stayed up. I would take fletcher in a heartbeat.

20 Jun 2018 22:53:10
Hope not don't want him anywhere near us.

Also he supports them!

21 Jun 2018 07:56:49
Energy and strength we need in there, not someone to slow it down and start again.

20 Jun 2018 20:05:13
Bluepete i've had rangers TVs for years I think it's worth it youth team wise it usually shows about 10mins highlights but sometimes full matches would recommend.
def keeps you in loop for talent coming through and in my opinion thing are looking good some really good players knocking to join Ross mccrorie!

20 Jun 2018 21:47:49
Thankyou

20 Jun 2018 22:10:15
Who's knocking to join Ross prso?

21 Jun 2018 09:59:56
I'd say lad Kelly, Aidan Wilson, Robbie mccrorie as number 2 keeper also really like palmer and Houston

20 Jun 2018 19:23:45
What's the thoughts on Jon flannigan footballer only!

20 Jun 2018 19:27:19
Happy enough that were signing a calibre of player that's not been present at Ibrox in a while

20 Jun 2018 19:34:34
Our new right back he's better fullback than tav

20 Jun 2018 19:53:41
Would be a great signing, plenty of experience at a good age, was on standby for England in the world cup 4 years ago as well . It is for me a no brainer and haven't we all made mistakes and done things we regret? Unforgivable what he did but if one man can wrap his arm around him and get him back on track as a person and a player then Stevie surely is that man

20 Jun 2018 20:08:30
Agree with all these posts think he's got a point to prove can only be good for us

20 Jun 2018 20:21:02
For me I think it’s really hard to disagree with the guys who think we shouldn’t be taking him but then in a football sense I think we should all be very excited about him signing. We need the best players to win the league and love him or loath him, Jon Flanagan will be the best right back in Scotland without any shadow of doubt!

20 Jun 2018 21:01:33
john flanagan is decent footballer with a great football brain, at 25 still young and fit, and a great addition, he never killed anybody, a drunken brawl with his missus, not an excuse but please don't judge him on that, paul gasgoine done far far worse we still cheered him on. so the pc brigade find something else to moan at, flanagan will push tav all the way

20 Jun 2018 21:13:29
Don’t often find myself agreeing with you londonjock 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

20 Jun 2018 22:01:15
No brainer for me"" hopefully make Tav even better in the same way signing young Duncan Ferguson made hateley even better
Great buisness for me

20 Jun 2018 22:20:53
He made a mistake. a horrible mistake but a mistake nevertheless. move on. Give the guy a break.

21 Jun 2018 07:31:13
He's a good player hopefully stays fit only downside I can see is he's only played about 70 games in the last 6 year or something which isn't a lot. Keeping my fingers crossed tho because tav desperately needs the competition, he's had it easy for a starting place since he's been here imo.

21 Jun 2018 09:01:02
Hope Tav isn't dropped or sold for this guy, call me cynical but this has disaster written all over it.

20 Jun 2018 19:17:24
Expect a move to be made for Ex Manchester City and current West Ham centre back Reece Burke who is free to leave after talks with Manuel Pellegrini this is the calibre of player i'm really happy to see us linked with long may it continue Goldson Katic and Burke off load Cardoso and have Alves as back up with McCrorie also capable there and i'm a really happy blue nose

20 Jun 2018 21:41:43
I hope we try and get the boy. Hopefully another striker and we won’t be far away.

21 Jun 2018 08:58:21
Reece Burke was never a Manchester city player. He has been at West Ham from the age of 9. Are you sure its him we are looking at?

21 Jun 2018 09:17:41
Walter your absolutely right yeah it's still Burke at West Ham we are looking at could have swore I seen him in Man City colours before he must have a doppelganger or a look alike that was also a man city youth centre back haha but yeah Reece Burke of West Ham we are interested and he's available said to be an old head on a young man's body

21 Jun 2018 17:02:19
Really hope this is true

20 Jun 2018 17:30:03
Looks like defence well on the way to being sorted, what are the best options up front in terms of buy and loan and attacking/ creative midfield buy?

20 Jun 2018 17:39:40
Buy McBurnie loan Solanke and loan Harry Wilson with option to buy and we win the league simples. Katic, big unit, looks very mobile could be our best signing so far and I for one had never heard of him.

20 Jun 2018 18:14:45
McBurnie is a hopeless footballer at the moment, I will be severely angry if we spend any money on the lump

20 Jun 2018 18:26:59
please get over mcburnie because he supports the gers isn't good enough, never in a million years is he worth 4 million as quoted, what's he done in england. there's better buys out there, heres a guy loaned out at moment, belguim centre forward, origi of liverpool, good player if we could get him on loan or buy

20 Jun 2018 19:18:18
Reece Burke is another available defensive option i'd take every day of the week

20 Jun 2018 19:19:40
Whats McBurne done? last season 9 goals in 17 games in the championship. If you insist on judging him on 2 poor Scotland games at least listen to the Swansea fans who are mostly begging him to stay.

20 Jun 2018 19:37:23
Loan Harry Wilson and Solanke and sign Adam Armstron, another left back and il be happy

20 Jun 2018 19:56:26
McBurnie is certainly splitting the bears, for me I'd like to see himat ibrox, he's big, strong, won't get bullied, knows where the goal is and could be the perfect partner for Morelos

20 Jun 2018 20:11:03
Would like another centre half signed with Flanagan And I would keep Tav. I feel we still need another creative midfielder would love Steve Davis at 33 still has a lot to offer. Mcburnie doesn’t interest me the games I’ve games I've seen him play he’s like a lump of wood tbh. I would love solanke origi and Wilson on loan and if we can get these players that I’ve mentioned I believe we can compete with that mob next season.

20 Jun 2018 20:24:12
Adam Armstrong will be a fantastic signing if we are in talks with him he knows where the net is

20 Jun 2018 20:48:21
Has Cardoso travelled to training camp in Spain?

20 Jun 2018 21:50:18
Bankie, no he has not

21 Jun 2018 09:18:23
I think Reece Burke will be the new CB addition

20 Jun 2018 16:20:31
Aberdeen get Burnley ahahahahaha they will get dismantled

20 Jun 2018 17:14:09
Hopefully Lumie - if Burnley are on the ball like they were when they played us pre season, then God help them!

20 Jun 2018 18:58:33
Went onto the aberdeen fc forum to see what their opinion was. Apparently Burnely are no that good and Aberdeen will pump them. Glad to leave that site, left it with a bad taste in my mouth, vile lot.

20 Jun 2018 19:19:48
This is a rangers page lads let's keep it that way we should never post about the lot that are happy with 2nd place .

20 Jun 2018 21:40:50
Yea remember the team we had against Burnley . was Warbys love child no playing ( rob K) what ever happened to that poor boy . never forget warb let our player of the year go ( McGregor) on a free so he could put him in his place . craziest decision of the decade at ibrox

20 Jun 2018 16:07:26
Did anyone else hear the loud crash of Mcinnes's bottle when Burnley came out the draw?

I am so glad he will not walk up our hallowed marble staircase.
Lucky escape me thinks.

20 Jun 2018 17:26:17
I seen they got drawn so if we get past our qualifications round who do we get

20 Jun 2018 16:01:34
If Jack Wilshire signed for us I would see this as the best window we have had in around a decade only playing what I've heard I don't think this will happen but I'd be happy if it did

20 Jun 2018 20:11:55
Wilshire no chance, seen the young lad Kelly and very impressed, great prospect .

20 Jun 2018 15:56:40
Draw been made, getting closer to the royal blue shirts running onto the Ibrox pitch, l know it's still few weeks away but l can feel the butterflies of excitement already.
Can't wait.
Hope Rogers have the SPL for next season.

20 Jun 2018 15:44:16
Flanagan undergoing medical with Rangers.

Will be a good signing if he keeps his nose clean gets his head down and gets on with that he is good at.

Hope he does a decent job for Rangers if all goes to plan and he signs

20 Jun 2018 15:18:59
Petrocub / Osejet (excuse the spelling)
In the 2nd round if we get there lads! Moldovan or Croatians! 🤞🏽

20 Jun 2018 16:18:38
We definitely want pedrocub mate if we manage to get through the first round that is, I don’t take anything for granted after last year haha

20 Jun 2018 14:46:08
Flanagan reported to be having a medical then joining us in Spain.

21 Jun 2018 01:26:28
Great buisnesd

20 Jun 2018 14:14:53
If we win first round it's Moldova or Croatia in next round.

20 Jun 2018 15:12:34
A reasonable draw.
Could have been much more challenging for the Second Round.
Third round will be tough whoever we get, but at least we should have a few games under our belts by then.

20 Jun 2018 15:26:30
We should make a million a round, all useful funds

20 Jun 2018 17:16:19
Will some explain why they disagree.
750 gate money 250 per round from UEFA

20 Jun 2018 19:12:24
Jboy17

Not sure we will make £1m a round. How do you work that out?

20 Jun 2018 21:52:31
50,000 crowd ballpark 750 k, UEFA pay 240 k for first round, rises 20 k per round till group stages

20 Jun 2018 13:39:19
Are we looking at any young sporting Lisbon players with the trouble that's happening there? Surely we could pick up a couple of gems.

20 Jun 2018 11:09:22
Stumbass v gers.

20 Jun 2018 11:36:17
Tryanikian WRONG

20 Jun 2018 09:57:27
1 Domžale (SVN)
2 Gabala (AZE)
3 Dinamo Tbilisi (GEO)
4 Rangers (SCO)
5 Apollon Limassol (CYP)
6 Progrès Niederkorn (LUX)
7 Široki Brijeg (BIH)
8 Shkupi (MKD)
9 Stumbras (LTU)
10 Dunajská Streda (SVK)

Who do wee want 1 to 5 meet 6 to 10.

20 Jun 2018 10:12:43
I really want progres, I know it could be tempting fate but it'll at least show our character, plus I wanted a rematch since the last time lol

20 Jun 2018 10:18:13
Let's take Progres and gub them. Put last year's ghost to rest and at least show everyone that we have progressed, no pun intended!

20 Jun 2018 10:28:12
Uefa. com live stream for draw

20 Jun 2018 11:22:31
Beating Progres won't prove we've progressed. Should be able to field a saving eleven and heath them comfortable. They're part time fottballers

20 Jun 2018 13:51:24
Yeah mikeger we clearly thought that last time and look what happened, of course it would show progression if we beat them this time, and if the news online is anything to go by, that team have also got better since last year

20 Jun 2018 09:18:32
If we get Flanagan I would rather him on the left and keep aTav at right. May not be the most popular opinion but I am not 100% convinced on Declan John. I think he is decent but we need better than decent. Would be happy to have him as cover.

20 Jun 2018 17:44:24
Why sign a right back the play him out of position

20 Jun 2018 17:59:57
Because Tav was one of our best players last year and John is mince!

20 Jun 2018 08:25:59
Darren Fletcher on the radar, what my fellow Bears thinking?
Personally if he isn't taking a huge chunk from our wage budget can only see him improving our team on and off the pitch.

Anybody know the last champions league winner to play in Scotland?

20 Jun 2018 08:42:42
Pedro Mendes won it with Porto seems a life time ago

20 Jun 2018 08:47:39
Klos?

20 Jun 2018 08:57:24
Stevie G

20 Jun 2018 09:20:53
He’s had his day I’m afraid

20 Jun 2018 13:05:24
Nah, that's got Joey Barton and Niko Kranjcar written all over it.

Review Of The Day 20th June 2018

20 Jun 2018 06:24:17
{Ed's Note - Ed001 has posted a new article entitled, Review Of The Day 20th June 2018

20 Jun 2018 05:30:03
Pity we don't have £60k per week to sign Jack Wilshere. Going on a free from Arsenal.

20 Jun 2018 05:50:18
What about his other 50k a week

20 Jun 2018 06:09:43
I would suggest Wilshere is an average player nothing special and like 99.5% of the players in EPL he isn’t worth a fraction of the money he s getting.
As we saw in Tunisian game these ‘superstars” are pretty average players just because they get the big bucks and hype from English commentators does not make them great players.

20 Jun 2018 06:36:08
epl is overated scotty for sure, and awash with cash, players so overpaid, i live near emirates and think wilshire is overated, one thing for sure he gets more than 60,000 a week, he spent more time clubbing than playing, but a fit wilshire i'd take with right attitude box to box he can do, we couldn't afford him

20 Jun 2018 07:37:28
scotty_52

Think your being a bit harsh on both Wilshire and the England team. England could have easily been 3 or 4 up at half time and played some great football in the first half. It’s never easy when teams put so many men behind the ball as Tunisia did in the 2nd half and England did win unlike Brazil, Germany and Argentina. As for Wilshire he is a very gifted player however injuries have curtailed his career

20 Jun 2018 11:24:44
scotty i live in north london I've followed wilshire since he a boy breaking into arsenal 1st team, easy big money to soon, hung out with wrong guys and a prima donna attitude, still he will get the big move way out our wage packet. even if we could afford him i'd still say no, londonjock

20 Jun 2018 02:57:12
3 million for tav, the best right back in Scotland why only 3 million? more like 5 or 6 million.

20 Jun 2018 04:59:48
Bite their hand off
Tav is the worst right back in scotland.
Can't defend. most of our goals conceded came from when he was out of position last season.
Never a defender more a midfielder and we are loaded in that dept.
Take the cash.

20 Jun 2018 07:40:22
Tavernier is not the worst right back in Scotland however I think if someone offered £3m then he would go. Not going to get £5m for a player who is unproven at English or European level

20 Jun 2018 13:07:15
ArthurD you're right, he's not the worst right back in the league, he's actually the best. Pure and simple fact.

5m minimum.

20 Jun 2018 13:39:07
dadoprs0, stats show most of our goals were lost centre to left. You're so far wrong in your assessment of Tavernier

20 Jun 2018 15:12:41
If a player scores from the left, that is our right, so would therefore be against tav

20 Jun 2018 15:13:04
Although I do like him and hope he stays

20 Jun 2018 17:12:58
Marco C centre to left of our defence. You knew that

19 Jun 2018 22:12:49
Show Cummings we have belief in him and he will prove himself, two way street.

20 Jun 2018 01:07:23
Murty beought in and barely used him, and when he did he played him as a Number 10 or played him up top on his own.

He’s neither of those types of player, he’s the player that scores you a goal from nothing (ie his goal vs Ary United), he used to do it constant against us when he played for hibs. But he needs a striker along side him.

Even then he still got 4 goals in the cup and 2 in the league. I’d have him at the club for sure.

20 Jun 2018 07:41:51
I think Cummings would do a turn for us and would be an excellent addition to the squad.

20 Jun 2018 13:40:18
Cummings is middling to poor. We're aiming far higher than a decent Scottish championship forward.
