As a toile cleaner I was hired to clean at Ibrox. I was cleaning the toilets when I heard Ally McCoist on the phone in the toilet talking about Jelavic and McCregor both off for a couple of a million each and Edu, Davis, Bougherra and Whittaker will also be on their way with an overral income of around 7-8million which will be spent on a raid of Hamilton and St.Mirren. I heard the names:
Imrie, Mensing, Cerny-Hamilton. Also paixao brothers who Hamilton released. And from St.Mirren:
Potter, Higdon and Van Zanten.
He also said the big money moves will be for Garry Kenneth and Keith Lasley.
Dundee Utd and Motherwell respectively.
He was talking to his friend 'Stuart' but I couldn't think of any players or staff at Rangers called Stuart. Maybe another manager possibly? But anyway, seems although Ally McCoist will also make bids for a few East Stirling players, forgot a few names one was Scott Johnstone though.
Appears Ally has made his plans.

Trust my sources.

James McFadden is making the decision next week to come home to Rangers or not.

Believable2 Unbelievable3

Home to james is celtic park pal! However, great in a Scotland jersey, not much week to week.
Bhrydo bhoy

Agree1 Disagree0

James McFadden has cousins that are massive Rangers fans.I knew him as a kid.He has said he would like to play for both clubs one day. When he stayed in Balornock East. His Dad is a Celtic man though. He would do a good job for Rangers. And give 100 per cent.Or else he would be letting half his relatives down.

Where's this stuff about Cuellar & Petrov coming from. I can't find anything on any Villa related site. Don't want either of them anyway. Cuellar you may remember had 'no intention of leaving Rangers'. A week later first offer comes in and he's on the M74 before you can say Adios.

Believable2 Unbelievable1

And remember cuellars handball against celtic on the line.!

Petrov no, kenny miller no. Let's move forward in life people. Personally I think it would be refreshing to have some new faces that we can get excited about, rather than debating whether an individual is fit enough to wear the jersey.

Also I think we may be in with a small surprise with Mr mcoist and his style of football. I still think he had some input into the cup final win over Celtic. Players were left up the park to combat Celtic flooding forward. Walter smith is not known for attack mindedness this term round.

I don't know where the Stilian Petrov signing for Rangers rumour came from , Stan is still a big Celtic fan and still has friends at Celtic , it was said after he left Celtic he regretted leaving , and missed being at the club , there is no way Stan would sign for Rangers , he has to much respect and feelings for Celtic and the fans , and to many happy memories to tarnish them by signing for Rangers .

{Ed010's Note - The story came from the Aston Villa rumours page. It may be that Petrov is still a Celtic fan and he may still have links to Celtic but let's be under no illusion, players will go where they can get first team football or play European football or earn as much money as they can, or a combination of all three. It is wrong for any fan, to expect and think, that based on a past experience, that a player won't then sign for their greatest rivals, whether it be Rangers to Celtic or vice versa.

Hello Fellow Bears.

Would like to add it's a decent wee site we have here.

Any thoughts of the style of play Ally will bring to the team???.

Going by his experiences (playing career) at Rangers we had a team full of work horses under Walter first time around while having 2-3 skill-ful creative players and i'm guessing Ally maybe thinking along those lines.

Lets say we sign a couple of players (Utility) who can play several role's (Walters Fav) and i believe Ally will go out and buy the creative type player that has been craved upon Ibrox for many years, now i know we have Davis, but i'm talking about someone of an Iconic status who will live long in the hearts of Rangers fans for years (Albertz), now this person might be a nobody or he might well be a star, but afterall Ally is a fan like you and i, and i get the feeling he knows what the fans want and most of all what he wants from a Rangers team.

What do you think people, hope you understand what i'm saying.

Believable3 Unbelievable0

Thats exactly what i'd like to see at ibrox, and i think weiss is the ideal player for this role. Lets jst hope Mancini sees sense!

Agree0 Disagree1

Lets say he is a legend (like greig) and lets say he has the same outcome (like greig), Ally won't cut it as manager pal, i don't question his desire or passion for rangers, but i, like most just don't see it happenin. . . big sam would have been the wiser choice!

i don't like the idea of rangers signing ex celtic players. we need loyal players at the club mcgregor papac diouf jelevic davis healy etc. all have said rangers is the club for them. the ex celtic players would be showing celtic no loyalty so why would they show us any. just look at kenny miller he done a good job but jumped a sinking ship at the 1st sign of money. ex celts no thanks, we are rangers and we are the people.

There are two dioufs. Mame Biram Diouf is on Man Us books.

also heard Rangers looking to take Chelsea youngster Jeffrey Bruma on loan. he is primarily a central defender but, just kile Bartley, can also be played in a holding midfeil role.He was on loan at Leicester for the final half of last season and seems to be a good player.

RANGERS REAL TRANSFER ENQUIRES MADE THUS FAR ARE :-

RB FOSTER - aberdeen boss says he will not let him go cheap
CB BARTLEY - says he wants return to rangers likely to be another loan
LW CONWAY - made an enquiry but looks to be playing his football in england next season
ST GOODWILLIE - i would think rangers would make a bid this summer but not certain
ST DIOUF - claims hes in talks to stay at club don't know if another loan or permanent

WEISS VERY UNLIKELY TO BE COMING BACK FOR HE LOOKS TO BE GOING ON LOAN TO SPANISH ESPANYOL

WHAT WINGER (thats affordable for rangers) DO ALL YOU RANGERS FANS THINK ALLY SHOULD MAKE A MOVE FOR. .

I THINK HE SHOULD GO FOR 1 of thes 4

QUARESMA - besiktas
DSZUDSZAK - psv
PITROIPA - hamburg sv
OBERTAN - man utd

Believable1 Unbelievable1

When Rangers were playing PSV one of the pundits said that Dszudzsak was valued at around £10 million so I doubt we will be signing him. Quaresma is a possible and possibly Obertan but that would be a loan deal.

GovanFR

Would take obertan on loan, would like to see us go for hitzerlsperger from west ham (not sure we could afford him)

heard rangers are looking to bring lovenkrands back. not sure if hes good enough anymore but he definitely has a passion for the club and won't cost much. he did have a knack for scoring important goals in europe and against THEM so might be a decent option?

Believable0 Unbelievable2

Lovenkrands never is/was/has been or ever will be rangers quality. a speed merchant with a worse touch than novo. only differance is he is a yard shorter now. if the rumours on here that we are after lovenkrands, novo, burke are true celtic will hose us in the league next year

fleck 500,000 take that any day he hasnt fulfilled any promise he just isn't good enough. As for kerkar he was only on a 6 month deal.

you seen that all the way from murray park! God you have some vision maybe you should be in our midfield next season mate.

I myself believe there is at least 3 or 4 dundee united players who are capable in conway and goodwillie definites and swanson and johnny russel both good prospects. Also with players man city have and the money they have we should sign or get on loan a few players from there.

What do you think?

heard a rumor that Obafemi Martins could be a rangers player after the windows open, me personally dunno what he w ould bring to the team , another name i heard been linked with rangers is carlos vela , he is to be let go by arsenal and he wants a change from the english league , wat you think , u heard anythin ed {Ed010's Note - Heard nothing about that one and I think it is exactly what it is, a rumour

i heard from a friend of mine that rangers are intrested in Niko Kranjcar and Max Gradel, kranjcar is out of action with spurs but we could see him being used as a swap , gradel is a quality player as well,

wat you think you heard any thing about this ed

{Ed010's Note - I know from reading the Spurs pages that Kranjcar will be leaving in the summer but the million dollar question, is where too. Spurs have confirmed an interest in a Sevilla player called Diego Perotti. They (Sevilla) want £15 million for him but Spurs want to use Krancjar and a.n. other as part exchange. That would tend to imply that Spurs have placed a price tag of somewhere between 4 and 8 million on his head. Maybe he needs to speak to Nikica Jelavic and/or Dado Prso to find out about life at Rangers.

Believable4 Unbelievable0

hullo, hullo all.
first up i think there may be some truth in rangers being linked with experienced players such as nolan & upson as ally will want to start by winning spl/euro games from day one.not sure bout some of the valuations on here tho!
also any rangers manager worth his salt should be trying to sign vladimir weiss he ticks all the boxes age, potential, knows the club, loves the fans, sell on value etc
we could even have another gazza or a laudrup on our hands in 2 or 3years time.
here's hoping!

ed, how would you rate poulsen from liverpool coming to rangers. pretty useless in premier league but SPL not to that standard.maybe wages to high though.thoughts??

{Ed010's Note - I liked Christian Poulsen when he was at Juventus. I thought that he brought a drive and dynamism to their midfield. Unfortunately, being a Roy Hodgson signing, he didn't get as many games with Liverpool as he probably wanted and has fallen down the pecking order. Only problem that I can see with any Rangers interest would be that Liverpool would want to recoup most of the £4,500,000 that they spent in securing his services.

Believable1 Unbelievable0

To be honest i think poulsen would probs be intersted and most players that go from the epl to th spl are great!

john fleck should be sold asap believed his own hype. too slow and weak anyway. goodwillie is a cert

Believable5 Unbelievable4

I have been dissapointed in fleck, he has not lived up to others expectations, i don't know whether that is his fault or others misjudging his potential.

Agree4 Disagree0

The likes of fleck can look really good against boys his own age who don't have his physical stature , then can't cut it with the big boys

Agree1 Disagree0

I think they should do the same as they done with adam and send wee fleck to a smaller club on loan

Agree5 Disagree0

Bit unfair on fleck he hasn't really had a good run to prove himself.
Loan deal might do him some good with regular football and hopefully come back a stronger more exper player.

I was jst told by a very reliable source that there is a really good chance of Michael Owen coming to Rangers as money isn't an issue for him and playing in CL is something he wants. The same person dropped in a couple of other names (L. Wallace, A. Smith, C. Conway) he said that there was already stuff happening with these 3. I hope this was of help as the person who told me would def b in the know. Thanks Big Stell

Believable1 Unbelievable1

How will Michael Owen get CL football if he comes to rangers? You have yet to negotiate 2 potentially tricky qualifiers

{Ed010's Note - You make a very valid point but I don't want to go down the route of who can or who cannot offer Champions League football, whether it is in the group stages or qualifiers. The rumour and opinions expressed on here are that it is certainly a carrot that Rangers can dangle in front of players, who may not otherwise considered moving to Scotland.

Warning Guys, this post is obviously from a "non Rangers" fan and he has raised a valid point which has been posted to create a discussion. I will not be uploading any responses that have anything to do with who is or is not playing in any round of the Champions League.

i was on man u page a minute ago and told them that alan mcgregor is the best keeper in europe but thay don't beleve me and i said if thay want mcgregor thay should stump up 15 million for him

Believable6 Unbelievable0

Hes a true bluenose and a one club man won't leave, I think we need three midfielders two defenders and at least one striker

Agree3 Disagree1

I think we need more than 1 striker, really we only have consistency in big jelavic, alot of fans are getting over excited about laffertys end of season form, he's done this the last 3 season yet has failed to shine in the other 30+ games, although i would urge ally to give him a chance i still think 2 strikers would be required, especially if we are to qualify for the group stages

Agree0 Disagree1

Alright fella a lot of fans slag lafferty but he dosnt get a run in his favoured position it feels like ground hog day listen i think big jela and lafferty up front next season will score us lots of goals lafferty starting to fill out getting stonger without losing his pace he is not suited to the lone striker role as striking partners i think we will struggle to get better on less we want to play 4-5-1 or 4-1-4-1 i think the options we have with this pairing is good enought to win the spl good enought for the last 16 in champions league but that is my opinion big rab by the way {Ed010's Note

Regarding John Fleck, from what I have heard (this is not a fact) he is one of those players who spends more time acting like a professional footballer in a social manner than training like one. Similarly to Charlie Adam what is his position? We played Adam on the wing and it turns out he is a CM. Where do we play Fleck? Personally I would loan him out to a Championship team for a season and see how he does. One other point Blue Heaven:Where are they Now is on, on Tuesday. I think that anyone we bring through our youth system should always have sell on clauses in their contracts if we sell them, like we did with Adam. Any thoughts?
