Much as it pains me to say, that mob are having a ball right now. Double treble, Open top bus, fan zones, 4 million on lights, funky pads even! The appointment of Gerrard is the most important in our history. It HAS to be given the opportunity to work.

We need patience, continued loyalty and some vision from those at the top. We are in grave danger of falling behind them even further if we don't get it right soon. We've been a shambles on so many levels lately. We need to get back to doing things with dignity, pride and honesty. The way befitting our glorious club. Let's show the world who we really are and #Let's Go!

Has anyone heard anymore about the supposed new investment coming in, surely something is happening soon, I find it very hard to believe that who is in charge at the moment are giving gerrard the finances that he has been promised. Surely something is going on behind the scenes. Roll on next season. c'mon the gers.

I heard a rumour that Dave King and co have rebuffed David Murray’s attempts to get back involved with the club and that was why there were resignations. Some were in favour of his cash injection and some weren’t. Rubbish or not it’s what I heard.

Didn't you hear Dave King say there was no new investment on the horizon? Money can become available in many different ways, including a new shares issue, freeing up wages, increased sponsorship, kit deal, advertising, most in the wake of bringing Gerrard to the club.

King said he would raise £6mill via a share scheme and it would be done by end of june. Rangers don't have a NOMAD. so there can't be any share issue. Now there can't be any NOMAD for the new share issue till King offers the existing shareholders 20p per share. This can't be done in 6 weeks so there won't be £6mill available from this source by end June.

In my opinion unless King offers the 20p a share there will be no new share issue ever as long as he is a Director. that's not to say Rangers won't get funds from another source but that's a different story. So I can't see SG buying £3 and £4mill players. Looks like loan deals or maybe 1 or 2 £1mill players unless he can sell half a team

I heard what dave king said burnbank1 but that doesn't mean something is not going to happen, what dave king says is not always the truth, he said he doesn't know why paul murray left the club but he will know. He made out at the start as if he was going to put his own money in but its basically just loans he's giving us which eventually he will turn in to shares so he owns more of the club. he's helped us out but surely there has to be another investor coming in.

Although try and see it from a business point of view.

Livingston will be able to make a fortune and save a fortune by installing an astro turf pitch.

Youth teams through the card training and playing in the stadium.

Community projects and getting local schools involved in football.

There are loads of benefits to smaller clubs installing an astro park that the big clubs don't need.

I fully understand your point and frustration but we all know that football these days is a business

Livi are a shocking club only because in prem they are doing there pitch

Every year to save money they scrap there youth policys
That is sometimes the bread and butter of clubs but once they go down the youths stop playing and need to find other clubs or local teams

Football's got that crazy with buying youngsters like 17/ 18 for millions it's not going to be long till players like Messi and Ronaldo will be bought after retirement to breed footballers for man uniTed and Chelsea like horse racing these guys will be retired to steed no a rumour obviously but reading all these posts about having to buy players for sell on value we are rangers if stevie g builds a team of 35 year olds and we win the league I won't care about sell on value!

Ideally you would want a team that has a blend of youth and experience that would be successful in winning silverware.
SG has brought in Arfield and McGregor, who have both premiership experience, and the media are saying he is looking at Skrtel and Bartley.
According to the media he is also looking to bring Harry Wilson from Liverpool on loan who is 21 years old.
Currently signed are McCrorie, Rossiter, Middleton, Morelos, and Alnwick who are all young players and Hardie had a successful loan spell at Livingston.
Hopefully we can get the balance right between youth and experience.

There is also a young boy called Stephen Kelly. He’s is quite small but seems too highly rated atacking midfielder. Liam Burke well quoted and coming back from an operation. Has to be his his time next year or it may not happen

If Rangers loan out Morelos it will be one of the most idiotic decisions the club has made since coming up the leagues post 2012.

Yes he has his faults but can cause defences headaches in Scotland. If he goes out on loan and becomes doesn’t perform his stock will fall dramatically. If the club don’t get a good fee for him this summer Rangers should definitely be looking to keep him.

On another note has anyone seen Goldson the defender from Brighton play? If so is he rated highly.

And why do you think we will loan him out? Has the club said that they intend to do so? As far as I’m aware all that’s happened is that a newspaper (I use the term loosely) that we all know tends to talk crap has suggested that a club might be interested in trying to get him in loan.
Now I’m interested in getting a loan of a Bugatti veron, do you think that means it’ll happen?

I enjoy banter and debate but posts like this are just really to puff your chest out. The conjecture is obviously related to the recent press article so why not comment on that rather than have a go for no reason? Unreal.

FYI you could loan a Bugatti anytime, you just have to pay for it. You can loan one the question is can you pay for it? If you can it could happen.

Is it me or are people being more rude to each on these pages over the past week or so?

If someone posts a rumour they've come across on these rumour pages they seem to get shot down instantly in a rather distasteful manner.

If somehow I were to be tipped of about a bit business our club were conducting I doubt I would post the information on here as some people on here would simply dismiss it and even throw in a random insult too.

We're all Rangers fans wanting the best for our club, is it too much to ask that we be polite and respectful to each other?

I would love Bartley back (a wee bit worried about his injuries lately though)
He was brilliant when he was on loan at Leeds so little wonder they want him back as well
Would love to see another Bartley tackle on that wee prick Brown
He has certainly made improved a lot since he was on loan with us a few years ago
