With 41 goals in 78 appearances is Rod Wallace the most underrated player to player to play for us if not who du think is?

20 Oct 2018 20:56:52
Really decent player, not a great when comparing to the gazza's etc but a good player in a very good team. Was a wee surprise package.

20 Oct 2018 22:29:23
Marco Negri?

20 Oct 2018 22:42:23
I'll probably get shot down for this one but tore andre flo was under rated when you think about it? It's the price tag that's the alarming part but if you look at his goals to games ratio it's actually quite good.

20 Oct 2018 23:52:21
Rod was ace but for me the most underrated was John Brown. How he never had an international career is beyond belief.

21 Oct 2018 07:30:43
Sasa papac for me! Mr reliable.

21 Oct 2018 09:15:48
Davie Robertson was very underrated. Neil McCann for the bigotry stuff he had to Take from certain parts of the rangers support.

21 Oct 2018 10:22:33
Brahim hemdani is my unsung hero, I remember him getting players constantly but he was Mr reliable for me.

21 Oct 2018 10:35:45
What bigotry did Mccann have to endure?

21 Oct 2018 12:12:26
The only bigotry wee neil mccann had to endure, came from the eastend mob,
especially when the wee man ran them ragged, in the breeze block boulevard,
when we won the league there in 1999! An easy 3-0 victory for the famous, that day!

21 Oct 2018 12:15:28
Tugay and Reyna for me both exceptional.

21 Oct 2018 16:36:04
I was at many an away game rangers fans shouted bigorty at him. Nearly seen rangers fans fight between themselves.

20 Oct 2018 18:14:00
Should Rangers inquire after John Fleck?

20 Oct 2018 19:47:35
I went to skool with Robert, his uncle, and played in same team in possil. I can assure you he ain't coming back to Scotland

should we enquire about every ex player who had a decent game. bollocks

tommy.

20 Oct 2018 19:53:23
To old now.

20 Oct 2018 20:15:25
To old now? Aye he’s over the hill at 27.

20 Oct 2018 20:24:51
Sorry my mistake but good to someone is always on the ball to crucify any slip up.

20 Oct 2018 20:37:54
Another player overlooked by eck.

20 Oct 2018 20:53:32
Yes, see how he's getting on and wish him well for his future career anywhere else but Ibrox.

20 Oct 2018 21:13:13
Nothing to do with big eck it was smith and McCoist who overlooked him including a training ground bust up with McCoist.

20 Oct 2018 21:16:12
Sorry sweep, just realised you meant overlooked by Scotland overlooked by previous Scotland manager as well.

21 Oct 2018 09:17:57
Not really interested in other managers tbh. Eck is the current 1.

21 Oct 2018 11:45:21
Fleck is and has been playing well for a very good Sheffield Utd team and he played a blinder last night, and I think if SG asked he would give it serious consideration.

20 Oct 2018 17:29:36
I see dorans is back on the sidelines and off to see the surgeon. Just when I thought he would come good.

20 Oct 2018 18:17:06
He has come good, just injured.

20 Oct 2018 16:36:51
Not usually an advocate of Scottish football "journalism" but well said Kris Boyd in his comments re: the sheep ticket fiasco. Nail on head.

20 Oct 2018 16:31:22
Just catching up on my e-mail tonight and happy to have a confirmation that my son and I now have a ticket for the semi-final against the sheep. Just a wee bit annoyed that my son and I, like a lot of true supporters have signed up for all the games including friendliest through the continuous credit card scheme for many seasons including those when we were on our a**e and did not get tickets first time round.

In my opinion those that have continued to support our club with season ticket money and purchasing tickets for friendlies etc in advance. The loyal supporters should have had priority for semi-final tickets. Never got mine until the sheep defaulted 6000 tickets. but still we follow on.

20 Oct 2018 19:00:53
Well said, completely agree.

20 Oct 2018 23:55:35
My uncle told me that Hibs do a points loyalty system which makes sense, we should look into that.

20 Oct 2018 12:54:59
On the surface I am very impressed with Mark Allen, I believe Rangers got a true professional when he joined and he wasn’t even first choice, the guy from Southampton was if I remember?

20 Oct 2018 10:14:35
Just been in rangers news now and see it's saying Dave king pulled a masterstroke getting stevie g but it was Mark Allen who went to Dave king with the idea I know people questioned Mark Allen but I think he has a lot more to do with where we are just now than anybody gives him credit for what do yous all think.

20 Oct 2018 13:07:12
You don’t work for Man City if u don’t know what your doing, if he’s aloud to he will continue to transform the club.

20 Oct 2018 16:38:57
I agree 100%.

20 Oct 2018 17:53:33
Yes it was indeed Mark Allen who initiated Steven Gerrard for our manager. don't believe everything you read on Rangers Now. He has been a great signing and has brought some good players to Rangers. Hoping for a good victory tomorrow on another dreadful pitch.

Review Of The Day 20th October 2018

20 Oct 2018 07:29:12
{Ed's Note - Ed001 has posted a new article entitled, Review Of The Day 20th October 2018

20 Oct 2018 20:51:51
Loved all the games mentioned. However, it has to be the 2-0 win against Parma. What a performance and what an atmosphere (the best I’ve EVER experienced) . We were amazing that night. Parma has spent a fortune (Buffon, cannavaro, Ortega, Thuram to name a few)
Still gives me goosebumps anytime I watch it.

19 Oct 2018 23:48:33
I was talking to my Dad earlier about Rangers and I asked him “what’s the best performance you’ve ever seen from a Rangers player during a game”
He couldn’t really give me an answer as he’s seen to many but I’ll put the question out to you guys.

What is the best performance from a Rangers player you’ve witnessed?

20 Oct 2018 06:40:28
Gazza Garrick v the sheep to win the league.

20 Oct 2018 07:38:08
agreed blue nose - gazza hat trick

it happened to be my 21st bday and i was hungover to fck!

every goal that went in 50k cheered and my heid was bursting. but what a day.

20 Oct 2018 08:02:37
Was in the Cooper suite for the Dunfermline game to win the league. WOW! Nerve shredding, with updates from Rugby Park coming through, thought i was going to have a hearty! The team that day kept going literally to the final whistle. Amazing day. Also 1996 cup final, Laudrup, Gazza, jukebox hat trick. 4-1 v Eindhoven, magical Mols. Alex Miller winner for first victory at the piggery in years, brillant. A few for me amongst many great times as a Teddy Bear. And loads more to come, I'm sure. #let's go.

20 Oct 2018 08:57:08
Laudrup in that cup final against Hearts was incredible. Much further back, Colin Stein hat trick was something very special. He never gave the Hibs backline a minutes peace that day. Best of all has to be the Gazza hat trick to win 8iar. Special players weave their magic when the chips are down. His first two goals were absolutely sublime and the penalty flawless. What a day that was!

20 Oct 2018 09:43:34
Seeker I’m to young (32) to remember Colin Stein by when my old boys eyes light up when he talks about him!
For me. my top 2 has to be

Ferguson in the Scottish Cup Final
Gazza 8iar

My favourite goals got to be
Vs Dortmund in 99
Gazza 2nd Vs the Sheep

My favourite team performance
5-0 vs Strum Graz (Billy Dodds chip 😍)
4-1 vs PSV (that PSV team was unreal)
2-0 vs Parma in 99.

20 Oct 2018 10:47:47
Can't argue with any of that 87 Henderson. Clean forgot all about Fergie"s performance in that cup final. I thought he was immense that day. Big Stein was a special player - big skinny awkward type of guy but had great feet and was brilliant in the air. And the heart of a lion! Guys like me and your dad are very lucky indeed 👍.

20 Oct 2018 12:19:40
My dad talks about that era all the time. He’s to old now to get to every game but one of his favourite quotes is “you think he’s good? You should have seen Jim Baxter”

I wish I’d have seen Stein and Baxter play, i'm also just a little to young to properly remember Davie Cooper, but again my dad says he was different class.

20 Oct 2018 12:34:08
It would be paul gascoigne's demolition of the sheep by scoring a hat-trick to clinch 8 in a row! What a performance! The geordie genius destroyed them!

20 Oct 2018 14:58:48
Agree gazza against Aberdeen best individual performance. closely followed by the late great Ray Wilkins performance and goal against Celtic.

20 Oct 2018 16:39:59
What about Neil McCann destroying the Tims at Parkhead to win the league?

20 Oct 2018 17:31:04
Struggling to argue with any of the performances above, but I was at Gazza game and the atmosphere that day for me will never be beaten. When his second goal when in, all could hear was screams and I will never forget it🇬🇧.

20 Oct 2018 17:59:55
I am 32 and there are definitely a few contenders there, I do remember Laudrup against hearts though. I am sure he scored 2 and made a hat trick for Durie but Gazza against the sheep also very impressive, both were trophy winning performances.

20 Oct 2018 19:43:27
3 days stand out for me winning the league at Smelltic
Park. Winning the championship at Easter Road and
That night at Tanadice 9 in a row. Fantastic all of them
Beating Celtic at ibrox when Buch Wilkins scored that belter. I was also in Monaco when we beat them
Quality days. I can’t help think good days are just around the corner in terms of silverware.

20 Oct 2018 21:27:15
3-1 v Inter 1984 or 2-0 v Dinamo Kiev 87 or 88.
