Niko may lose the ball a couple of times a game but what he does well is pick a pass that no other player in our team has in their locker. We are going to have to get used to the cumbersome nature of him because when his passes come off they are often the difference. Really hope holt ain't crocked again. Boy is crucial to our success. Not a lover of Halliday but had a very good game tonight and got pass marks at the weekend too. Hill and Wilson have looked far more commanding at the back. Two clean sheets off the back of getting hit for 5 is encouraging.

21 Sep 2016 06:23:49
Got to agree coplandcafu. sometimes his passing and touch can be suspect then out of the blue he'l pick out a peach of a pass. Only problem i have with him is i don't think he's got the pace and engine to play on the type of team the manager wants.

21 Sep 2016 09:12:31
Totally agree, Niko passes the ball without even looking, some quality balls last night, the big chap crooks looks to have a good engine, ok we scored 5 last night mostly 2nd half, 1st half all possession, but need create more goal chances right from the start, possession doesn't win u games, especially against spl teams? Like the sheep.

21 Sep 2016 09:52:35
If he doesn't have the engine to play the manager's style then why did the manager sign him?

21 Sep 2016 10:42:37
Ud need to ask the manager that mate. Barton doesn't fit it either and he signed him.

20 Sep 2016 22:17:21
Well done guys played well tonight but how slow is kranjar did not contribute much apart from lay of for waggy goal but watched him can't run and he gets caught in possession, didn't get to see enough of crooks who I was looking forward to seeing but dose look a confident player of what I saw how much bettter do we play when we move the ball faster. Would go for a 442 against Aberdeen holt windass haliday crooks ohalleron and garner up front though hard to leave waggy out after scoring a ha trick.

20 Sep 2016 22:32:11
Not having much luck with injuries this season windass and wee holt out again by the sounds of it.

20 Sep 2016 22:53:29
Kranjcar didn't start well but got better during the 2nd half and played some lovely passes. Grabbed an adsist and was involved in another of Waghorns too. Windass and Holt both withdrawn as precautions ahead of Aberdeen next week.

21 Sep 2016 00:08:17
Jaws MW said both should be fine for Sun, both were
precautionary decisions due to tightness on their hamstrings .
Your spot on with the injuries, especially when we are trying to get a settled team .

20 Sep 2016 22:01:31
Not getting carried away about tonight but that was a much better performance. We may indeed see the footballer that has been lurking within MOH (actually just looks a bit short of confidence and game time now) . Niko looked much better and had a full 90 mins in his tank!
I don't think it was any coincidence that we played much better with a 'lighter' midfield ie Bartons gob. There seemed to be a weight off us and we expressed ourselves a lot more freely without him wanting to be involved in everything.
Yes a lesser opposition but nonetheless, a must win and a confidence boost sets us up nicely for the sheep.

21 Sep 2016 08:04:03
The QOS manager said after the game that it wasn't a 5-0 game, more like 3-0. He also said there wasn't a gulf in class between the teams. Do you agree? lol HH.

21 Sep 2016 08:15:44
Every one of your comments I've seen end "lol HH. " Bob and I've yet to see one that's remotely funny.

21 Sep 2016 08:24:58
we will see how good celtic are once the sun tan kid causes a dressing room bust up and decides to change your style of play twice a week.

21 Sep 2016 09:55:26
HH . hapless hoops.

21 Sep 2016 14:24:56
Concentrate on Alloa!

20 Sep 2016 21:59:08
Happy for Halliday tonight to be wearing the captains armband and to get a goal.

Good three for Waghorn and a decent performance, not perfect but good.

Hopefully Holt isn't injured again, I think we have missed having him on the pitch.

21 Sep 2016 08:25:58
waghorn scored 3 but I didn't think he played that we'll, missed 2 sitters, not much movement wasn't really trying to get onto the end of things then boom hat trick lol every time I criticise him he scores a few.

20 Sep 2016 21:51:19
I think Halliday getting the arm band tonight shows a statement to Barton.

20 Sep 2016 22:04:55
Not a huge admirer of Halliday but it was great to see a leader on the field tonight shouting and driving the team on!

20 Sep 2016 22:16:59
Rangers back to one touch learning every week suton with his dry words but warburton showing why he's a manager and Sutton-in-Ashfield a bull shotter lol come on the gers.

21 Sep 2016 08:26:34
if Sutton hadn't been a footballer he would either have been a pro diver or in jail.

20 Sep 2016 21:45:59
Thought hodson had a decent game . I hope we don't drop him for Wallace to come in at weekend . Thoughts bears?

20 Sep 2016 22:54:42
Lee Wallace deserves enormous credit for his commitment to our club but he has had a very poor start to the season. He looks slower this season. I'm not sure if he is just starting to show his age a little or that he is up against better players this year but he has been one of the most disappointing players this season. He may need a few games rest.

20 Sep 2016 21:42:24
Normal service resumed?

Well done

Looking forward to Sunday now.

20 Sep 2016 22:03:11
Found your level.

21 Sep 2016 08:26:56
aye you lot found yours at inverness.

21 Sep 2016 12:40:41
Good luck when u go there to try and get in the top six.

20 Sep 2016 20:50:44
I hate MW and his consistent 60 minute subs. Holt off McKay on.

20 Sep 2016 21:01:56
It was half time mate hink he'll be injured.

20 Sep 2016 21:08:02
I'm a dry person :)

20 Sep 2016 21:23:48
Would have been 60 tbf sure holty must have a knock.

20 Sep 2016 22:13:12
or maybe just giving him a wee run out.

21 Sep 2016 14:59:42
That was 45 mins.

20 Sep 2016 20:41:09
Did say at start of season we were missing holt, glad the wee mans back, been a slow game so far but heres hoping it picks up 2nd half, would like to see crooks and dodoo involved at some point, can also see either mckay or garner coming on.

20 Sep 2016 20:39:22
I love to talk up Danny Wilson but I feel he is so under rated. We look much more solid with him at the back regardless of the other CB and his role in our play from the back second to none. I said it a few weeks ago but I felt they could be as good as Barton's at times. Going to make a statement and say when we click I could see Wilson in the national squad. For me he's one of the most under appreciated players in the squad. Youth player, Rangers supporter, made us a few million. There was even talk at the time that Cetlic were interested in him. Yet Haliday gets so much popularity for?

20 Sep 2016 20:52:29
Wilson was Selik supporter growing up.

20 Sep 2016 21:03:39
You've got to be Danny Wilson brother or dad 😁.

20 Sep 2016 21:10:51
Might well have been mistaken mate I wouldn't know I don't really know anything about celtic, probably an assumption because he was a youth player appologies although I do think he's key to our play.

20 Sep 2016 21:51:11
I thought Haliday was our best player tonight.

20 Sep 2016 22:14:39
da ny Wilson is a very good centre half and is more vocal than most of our team. I am far more comfortable with him at the back than any other player.

21 Sep 2016 12:16:06
Im his maw bigblueayr😂.

20 Sep 2016 20:37:27
feel sorry for windass, can't seem to catch a break atm, great wee player.

20 Sep 2016 20:53:33
No luck at all with injurys. windass now holt off at half time.

20 Sep 2016 21:53:32
Both precautionary.

20 Sep 2016 20:19:53
Where are our goal scoring options, 1/ 2 hour mark and Queens keeper not had a save to make.

20 Sep 2016 19:57:44
Finaly warbs sees what the fans have seen for weeks now. am liking our front line tonight. forrester waghorn ohalloran. would like to see crooks given run out tonight. would have also liked to see young boy bates given a shot instead of hill. looking forward to more direct play. mon the gers.

20 Sep 2016 19:44:40
Wearethepeople beaten by over 2 lengths, is that an omen for tonight, beaten by two goals.

20 Sep 2016 20:21:01
Probably! lol HH.

21 Sep 2016 14:35:02
@iamnobhoyscout - more an omen of everything to do with Barton just now.

20 Sep 2016 19:36:02
Windlass just done hammy in warm up gutted for boy.

20 Sep 2016 19:08:49
Is rossiter injured?

20 Sep 2016 20:01:38
Aye mate dodoo added to matchday squad when windlass got injured hope to see a wee bit of him tonight.

20 Sep 2016 21:05:20
Cheers pal just wondered as no heard a thing about him for a few weeks.

20 Sep 2016 17:04:10
Still on holiday in Italy. Cannot access my BT sport app outside the UK It states. Gutted. As wanted to see game on my iPad using hotel wifi. Any ideas fellow Rangers men what to try?

{Ed001's Note - kodi and sports devil.}

20 Sep 2016 17:22:53
try vipleague. is
usually has a decent stream.
COME ON QUEENS! lol HH.

20 Sep 2016 17:31:22
Thanks Ed I will try them. Also just got rtv .

20 Sep 2016 17:52:07
New to the site, but try going to your wifi settings and change the DNS settings to 8.8.8.8 hope this helps.

20 Sep 2016 18:03:49
You could also try mobdro bro.

20 Sep 2016 19:26:29
just use a vpn and set your location to the uk.

20 Sep 2016 19:47:58
Fannying about to get a stream and then go through the channels and it's on BT. Gold Divers on at 9 though.

20 Sep 2016 20:27:23
I live in Holland and use cricfree. tv. Works great.

20 Sep 2016 14:57:15
Think it will be a tough game tonight, in thinking so much about Rangers just lately I didn't even realise that QOS have started the season well and are top of the championship. heres hoping we get the result we need to kick start our season.

20 Sep 2016 15:19:39
They are on good form but they are not at SPL level and we are big favourites! A convincing performance is required but hopefully we batter them for a confidence boost!

20 Sep 2016 15:29:50
Think some team is due a thumping off us would rather it was the sheep but if it's tonite I'll take it.

20 Sep 2016 16:02:35
Unfortunately if we lose tonight that will give more shouts for the gaffer to get sacked. we need time to gel as a team, also good to hear the gaffer say he has zero respect for Sutton, the same Sutton who failed big time as a manager, everyone can't wait to slag off gers as usual, instead how about giving him time to do his job.

20 Sep 2016 16:46:30
He will get the time if he proves he is worth giving it too. He needs to stop with the 'I know better' attitude. He needs to start working on a plan 'B' that is not do plan 'A' better. that's absolute bullsh*t. I happen to agree that we did perform better against Ross C than any other team this season, but that's not what you come out and say after Celtic hammering and a draw! He needs to start learning the game that is NOT on the field if he wants to stay a Rangers manager. Last year will count for nothing if he continues this approach.

20 Sep 2016 16:48:02
Totally agree delboy.

20 Sep 2016 16:44:31
Ironic that your on slagging someone off because he has an opinion that differs to yours pal, or is it only rangers fans that can say your manager is out of his depth, like majority of you on here have been saying for weeks.

20 Sep 2016 17:35:33
I regularly get slaughtered too by some on here for saying the manager is out his depth so it's not only Rangers fans that can say that and get away with it.

20 Sep 2016 17:25:18
RFCinfinity

'They are on good form but they are not at SPL level'

That makes both teams tonight not fit for SPL! lol HH.

20 Sep 2016 17:58:20
I've never understood that argument - as it would mean non managers (IE fans) know even less and thus invalidate their opinions. Or is it only successful managers that can comment on football management?

By that rationale, Joey Barton could say to Warbs that he knows nothing as he never played the game. And so on.

20 Sep 2016 13:55:52
Got to be careful not to over react to the "Barton Regrets Rangers Move" headlines.

The guy basically says that with all the drama surrounding him just now he may have made a different choice with hindsight. Doesn't actually say he regrets the move. Seems like a perfectly reasonable opinion to me.

He actually says that he believes in Rangers, although it's been harder than he anticipated.

Don't be sucked in by the rag headlines.

20 Sep 2016 15:27:51
The media are really doing their best now to vilify the guy. Yes he's outspoken but we knew this before he arrived. Give him a chance to reflect and get back into the team. Any rational man would dig in and prove the doubters wrong. I feel that Barton will do this. He should have been banished to the reserves and retained a fitness level. Banned for three weeks but realistically not in contention for two months until he regains fitness, unless he's been given a regime to keep him up to scratch.

He hasn't turned into a bad player, so far he just hasn't adapted to our game. It's been downplayed as a mugs league for years. It's a quick and physical league.

20 Sep 2016 16:04:57
Unfortunately i can't see him playing for the first team again, I just can't see anyway back for Barton now.

20 Sep 2016 16:49:04
The papers are all at it, as always but let's not forget Barton is a clown! We ALL thought it before he signed. We turn a blind eye once he is part of us, because it's the right thing to do. It does not change that he is an idiot and one with a book to sell.

20 Sep 2016 13:00:30
does anyone else think that we should go back to the first team we had last year as they played ghreat together and bring on the players we bought when they are ready to fit into that style of play.

for me we where miles better last season and that's not because of the league we played in, its because they where a tight nit squad even when we played the so called better teams we played them off the park.

20 Sep 2016 13:21:33
Can't go back, we must evolve and move forward.

For a start the team last year burned out and limped over the line. Barley won a game after the semi final. More than that the team was playing at a Lower level against weaker opponents.

Already it is clear that many bof the players that looked quality at the lower level are struggling to make the step up.

The manager also clearly didn't have confidence that the group was good enough- otherwise why sign 11 players. Look at hearts the season before, they signed virtually a new team- they just managed to integrate them quicker and more successfully.

I still maintain that Warburton made a massive error on his recruitment. If we had kept the core of the team from last season and added 2-3 players of real quality then I think we would be in a much better place. Instead of diluting the money we had on 11 players the cash could have got us the quality centre half and striker we still don't have.

There is a worrying lack of both short term and long term strategy at the club both on and off the field. Without a coherent strategy of clever investment instead of short term fixes and panic buys we will never catch Celtic.

For example this window, quality central defender and a striker. The next window more quality in midfield. The next look at further strengthening defence and midfield and so on . I simply don't see this kind of plan in operation.

20 Sep 2016 13:40:39
I think we are playing the majority from last year james but we need to be integrating our useful summer signings i. e windass, rossiter, garner as they are better than the alternatives we had in the team last year.

20 Sep 2016 14:09:21
James, if only it were that simple! Several of last year's crew were loanees, others have quite rightly gone to pastures new, gone away on loan again or even disappeared completely (Templeton) or in my view no longer deserve a starting place (Kiernan) or showing no real form and lucky to be starting (Wallace) . They may have been a tight knit bunch but in reality there are only 7 ofthat group of players still at the club so we would have to integrate a whole new group anyway. They are well paid professional footballers and many haven't played much together yet which seems to be our biggest problem but surely if MW wants them to play in a 433 (whether you agree that is how we should play or not) they should have the skills/ ability to adapt to it or else they shouldn't be playing.

20 Sep 2016 14:49:58
The players we bought were all improvements. We can't just have added 2-3 players because the squad was so thin on the ground. We needed major investment and players like Windass, Niko (when fit), Rossiter and Garner are big improvements and Dodoo, Senderos, Crooks, Gilks, Barton and Hodson have gave us a lot more strength in depth. Its a long season and we really. needed quantity as well as quality. I am sad about the start we have made but things will click.

20 Sep 2016 15:16:57
Honest Ger,
Whilst you definitely have a point about concentrating our financial resources better I wonder how that would have worked out in practice. Of the squad of 19/ 20 or so from last year 4 were loanees, should we have replaced them with other loans? 5 were paid off or released -do you think we should have kept any of them? 3 are younger lads who've gone out on loan again-should they have stayed in the current squad? That's 12 players in total and whilst some our signings have added limited or no value so far I don't think that just 2 even better quality signings would have been enough. I do accept that some of the signings have been motivated by the short term and almost certainly misguided view that we could win this league at the first time of asking.

20 Sep 2016 15:20:30
got to say I love warbs and his style of play last year but he made a rookie mistake imo,
he signed a lot of midfielders two of which (barton and niko) are too old to play in a 4-3-3 .
the only area that really worried fans last year was defence and it was clear for everyone to see that we needed two ne cb's senderos is very slow clint hill moves at jogging pace and hodson is back up for one of our best players .
that is not what we needed we needed 1 maybe two front players 2 midfielders maybe three to bolster the squad .

but a good manager should know to
A) build from the back
B) strengthen your weakest area first.

by not having a strong defence there is a lack of confidence in the attack and rightfully so.

20 Sep 2016 15:45:39
So james stirling by using your rational thinking A+B haven't happened so warburton isn't a good manager as he has acheived neither? But you still love him?

20 Sep 2016 15:50:49
Barcelona aren't great at the back, have all their managers been bad? all of mourinhos teams are brilliant at the back does that mean he's the best in the world?

20 Sep 2016 17:39:33
Cee

I wouldn't compare us to Barcelona in any shape or form.

20 Sep 2016 19:41:11
Take your head out the sand cee comparing us to Barcelona they can score 6 a game that's the difference.

20 Sep 2016 19:13:48
Cee, Barcelona can play that way against ANYONE in the world and believe they will beat them. Your team and celtic for that matter can't play that way all the time as its ok for domestic games as both may dominate most games.
Go into Europe and that cannot be the case so u MUST have a different way to play.

20 Sep 2016 12:33:43
One of my concerns now is, the potential that someone ( a player ) is revealing stories to the press and now the SFA.

Someone has called the SFA about this bet. For me Barton has told a fellow player or players he made a bet on them losing the day after they did, now that someone has blabbed. If so that's a major concern. Is the Scottish law on betting different to the English? It could explain Barton's bet.

Whatever I couldn't care less about his bet, it's a joke! But if you can not trust your team mates then that poses a whole different level of problems for us.

20 Sep 2016 12:54:08
It was Betfair that told the SFA. Do you need a tin foil hat mate?

20 Sep 2016 13:05:01
its just stupid that u can't bet on another tem its nonsense and shouldn't be a rule I agree don't bet about your own team or the team your playing against but other teams that shouldn't matter.

{Ed001's Note - there are good reasons for it, it is not stupid, what is stupid is doing so when you know it is banned.}

20 Sep 2016 13:26:03
Stupid or not its not allowed so why risk your career by doing it?

20 Sep 2016 14:16:53
Rangers leaked the story.

20 Sep 2016 15:23:14
edd I know that barton is the stupid one .

but I also think that the rule is a stupid one.

if u dive that's cheating but nothing is done about it but if u want to bet on another team this can get you banned for three games?

I just don't get it edd lol but your right barton is a waste of money and more hastle than he is worth.

{Ed001's Note - if it was up to me I would retrospectively ban diving too, but that doesn't tend to lead to match fixing, unlike gambling on matches, which is why it is banned for those involved in the game.}

20 Sep 2016 15:33:40
@onlyshowaround

Lol! I need a lot more than that mate, tin foil suit the lot!
I was not aware of Betfair. Surely you would bet online if you were a player. He's not exactly hiding it if he walked into a bookies. It tells me he more of a moron than I had him out to be.

20 Sep 2016 19:29:38
If you haven't realised Ed001 is a celtic fan.

{Ed001's Note - are you trying to be funny? Only I am a Liverpool fan, it is easy enough to look at my profile and see that. Mind I guess anyone who can't understand what a rumour is probably hasn't the sense to figure out they are different teams.}

20 Sep 2016 11:36:58
Barton bet on barcelona v celtic! So what can't believe all the fake outrage about it. It would be different if he bet on celtic to beat us heavily. especially the way he played in the celtic match.

20 Sep 2016 12:19:38
im hoping i speak for thw majority here when i say I'm not fussed about that although he'll get hit with a 3 match ban which as always is useful, that i care about more and what was supposedly to have happened with the younger player even more so, it can't be a set of rules for players that toe the line and a different rules for players that can't again that's what i care about. sorry but wouldn't be sad to see him go unless his attirude changes although history shows you it won't.

20 Sep 2016 12:23:36
The terms scapegoat and witch hunt definitely come to mind.

{Ed001's Note - except that he knows full well it is against the rules. It is not a witch hunt or making him a scapegoat, he is a fool who knowingly broke the rules. He brings it all on himself, he should be locked up with his brother, but he has got away with numerous things due to being a professional footballer. But the likes of you will continue to make excuses for him.}

20 Sep 2016 12:35:39
you all wanted rid of black when it happened lads, no witch hunt there, fact is he thinks he's above the rules and should be punished accordinly, also said on here months ago that he was offered to us and we declined to be told i was talking garbage, thought he would be a great player if he let his football do the talking but the doughnut just can't keep his trap shut, but hey he's got a book to sell.

20 Sep 2016 13:01:17
Ed I asked the question in my post, are the laws different in Scotland? I think they might be. He may not have been aware if so. Let me be straight I am no fan of Barton.

{Ed001's Note - they are not different, he has no excuse.}

20 Sep 2016 13:12:15
during his interview about his book he basically said that it was a mistake to come here and if he had the choice again he wouldn't have .

well joey I stuck up for u but not now mate if u think moving to rangers is a mistake you should never be allowed to pull on the top again and sent packing.

or just keep him here and leave him out of the squad, he is too slow anyways and could never work in a midfield three .

20 Sep 2016 14:20:58
Rangers knew all about his antics. Now the media are going into overdrive with all his evil doings. Funny how all this is now being peddled out but when he signed he was just a lad from Liverpool trying to mend his ways!

20 Sep 2016 16:35:09
heard that his family are notorious in Liverpool.

20 Sep 2016 11:30:58
If Joey Barton is found guilty of betting, can Rangers terminate his contract without paying him? That may well be why he is banned for 3 weeks, so an investigation can be done. Just a thought.

20 Sep 2016 12:21:50
No mate i'm sure its a 3 match ban although it could end up being part of a disciplinary that includes evwrything and whatever else that went on, which could end up in a sacking.

20 Sep 2016 12:58:52
I reckon he is a goner.

20 Sep 2016 13:08:03
Did Ian black or simionsen get sacked for it? There's the answer.

20 Sep 2016 16:04:50
I would doubt it as he didn't bet against the club more likely an SFA fine or suspension.

20 Sep 2016 10:39:39
am no sure what it is but we are starting to attract more idiots than a can ever remember,

and what do we do with idiots we somehow manage to get them thrown out, look it the lad from st johnstone he didny want to play for us and the taxi lad recorded him saying why would anyone want to play for us so we sacked him to save wages.

now joey is getting the same treatment, all to save cash, nice timing right?

a think we will thrive without him, halliday on his day is as good as brown, waggy is nearly as good as supersperm, onwards and upwards teddies.

20 Sep 2016 14:52:14
HALLIDAY IS A BETTER PLAYER THAN BROWN IMO
the old firm in april I think he proved that.

20 Sep 2016 16:06:36
The whole Sandaza episode was a joke to sack him for that. The club ended up paying him so was a completely pointless thing to do.

20 Sep 2016 09:18:04
Barton under investigation for alleged breach of football betting rules!

20 Sep 2016 09:01:35
Right enough is enough with this Joey Barton carry on. I was of the opinion that if he took his three week suspension like a man then I'd have him back but if he spat the dummy then he can do one. So far this morning I've read that he's been investigated for betting on Barcelona to beat Celtic and he's also came out and said that he regrets joining Rangers.
The
Someone on here said that his new book being released is not a coincidence. At first I was thinking no way but now I think it's definitely not a coincedence. It seems he's done everything he can to get his stupid looking wee mug in the paper.

I've had enough. He can bolt. And if he really thinks he's a hard man he should come down to Govan and see.

He's basically used our club as a platform to get in headlines. Used us as a form of publicity. Wouldn't be surprised if he now retires.

20 Sep 2016 16:07:43
What does come down to Govan and see mean?

20 Sep 2016 08:14:03
Barton now under investigation for betting on Barcelona vs Celtic game. Can we get rid of him now?

20 Sep 2016 09:51:14
I would think that Rangers set a precedent when black was done for betting and more so against his own team and they did not sack him. bartons PFA reps will be all over that imo.

20 Sep 2016 09:56:17
Football must be the only business where you can sign a contract, fail to perform, break the rules yet potentially walk away with compensation up to the full amount of a contract. We're in wrong business guys. Be rid of JB and test the regulations around compensation. I'm happy to pay cash up front for my season ticket as part of the club's overall accounting but that's for the club. not an individual who has failed the club in every sense.

20 Sep 2016 10:01:15
It's not a sacking offence, even if like Ian Black, you bet against your own team and I'm sure Barton's representative will stress the words of Ally McCoist, who claimed he had produced a long list of players who bet on games in Scotland. 2 or 3 game ban I would think, whatever the precedent was set with Black and Simonson - if I remember correctly.

Much as I dislike Barton, I can't be hypocritical here and say I have a problem with him betting on Celtic to lose.

Final thoughts. Bit of a coincidence this emerging the day after the Barton ban, isn't it?

20 Sep 2016 10:11:10
I think we could anyway, look at the Sandaza situation a couple of years back. People saying we would have to pay him off are wrong. The club will always have items in contracts relating to behaviour, breaching this makes contract termination no problem.

20 Sep 2016 11:21:02
Was this reported by the same grass that leaked the bust up?

I don't like Barton, I never wanted him- I didn't think we needed a player like him on or off the park. He's an expensive version of Ian black.

But the way the club has acted is abysmal.

20 Sep 2016 13:12:40
honest ger

I think your club should be thankful there's a grass within the ranks in this case. Would you really rather it was kept quiet but continued to boil under the surface or would you rather it came out and allowed your club to move on in a positive maneer? HH.

20 Sep 2016 15:04:25
I hope he doesn't come back as we have better here than him.

20 Sep 2016 16:28:15
I'm sick of hearing about Barton. Been nothing but trouble and he's been in the door 5 games.
Not fit, poor form and a bad attitude. Let's face it though they should hardly even call that a bet, Celtic to get trounced off Barca. Stevie wonder could have seen that coming.

He's not daft though I'm sure his book sales will be looking great right now. Rossiter and Crooks are the future for us in that position, even if we can't get rid of Barton now I don't want to see him back in the team for purely footballing reason. Halliday was better in one game their than Bartons been all season and it's not his natural position.

20 Sep 2016 17:13:25
Gram

No chance is it as straightforward as you seem to think. I wouldn't say that betting is cause for dismissal and the whole episode with the argument seems to have been poorly handed. Workers have more and more rights and I reckon Barton is the sort to try and get as much money as he can.

20 Sep 2016 07:14:16
Let's see how the next 3 games go without JB around. Team spirit and togetherness go along way look at Leicester I believe we have some talented players and a manager who wants to play football the right way.

If JB has been a disruptive influence and undemining the manager which I can well imagine then we are better of without. I had hoped JB would lead by example but you get the feeling he hasn't helped those around him to play better.

This is a team low on confidence and it needs the manager to be fully focused without someone questioning his authority, I applaud MW for taking this stance and this for me this is a defining moment in our season! Onwards and upwards MW will turn this around with a performance and win against Aberdeen at the weekend.

20 Sep 2016 07:33:52
I agree that we need confidence in this team and to click the right way especially in the final third as we were last season. Just need end product which will come. And team spirit is everything in that dressing room so here's hoping things will improve starting tonight. We also need few our guys to be men. Wallace in particular. As Alan Hansen used to say. You win nothing with boys.

20 Sep 2016 08:09:13
leicester play right football? they defend for their lives and hit teams on the counter. how are we meant to do that when most teams don't leave their 18 years box?

20 Sep 2016 08:28:01
Its all well and good going on about team spirit and warburton will turn it round but what if the players are championship standard and aren't able to perform at this level? The results in last 20 games are shocking for you so what do you base your assumptions on. Hope? Warburton only had 50 odd games as a first team manager before rangers he ain't a managerial guru he does his cute wee short corners and 60 minute subs and constantly playing out from the goalie which just puts your poor defence under more pressure so what if you drop more points on sunday to the 🐑?

20 Sep 2016 09:10:28
I'd rather be reading W15 optimism than the other two comments negativity and pessimism.

Picking apart positivity by replying with "what if this" what if that" statements. Geez peace.

I agree. Might take another couple of games but we'll come good. Maybe just scrape wins in the next couple of games. Maybe even draws but we'll come good. We've got some really good footballers at our club.

20 Sep 2016 12:47:28
Sorry Monty, you can't have it both ways. Speculation is speculation whether it is positive or negative.
You don't want to hear what ifs, but you're happy to say "we'll come good" and you probably agree with all those saying "we will gel" or "we will win against Aberdeen".
It's all opinion and theirs is a valid as yours. Unless, of course, you have evidence that "we'll come good". Care to share it with us?

20 Sep 2016 16:42:20
Cee that's why there should be a plan B MW doesn't have that his idea is if plan A don't work we try harder at plan A. SPL teams would have seen the way we played last season and how easy it is to nulify the way we play.
MW needs to change tactics to win games, if we don't get a result tonight we are in trouble.

20 Sep 2016 05:38:13
Barton been done for beting now so on top of stuff already gone down Barton will be sacked.

19 Sep 2016 21:43:29
Crooks and Dodoo in squad for QOS game.

20 Sep 2016 01:53:17
Perfect, any sign of Rossiter returning from injury!

20 Sep 2016 03:54:39
Crooks and Dodoo. (There's a good joke in there somewhere! ) .

20 Sep 2016 00:32:50
Just read warburtons and waggys press conferences on the web and both go on about creating the right environment and respectful opinions. Does anyone else think that is a dig?

20 Sep 2016 00:29:43
i see Joey has no intention of staying out of the limelight and being quiet in mail giving interview today saying that if it was a boxing match Scott Brown wouldn't be as smug. way to go very proffessional. that and his last challenge to Brown made him look like a fandango.

20 Sep 2016 07:19:45
No doubt, Joey is a class act and has found his spiritual home at Ibrokes lol HH.

20 Sep 2016 08:10:12
your our resident celtic fan now? God go onto your own page and get some tips off some of your celtic friends on how to do banter.

20 Sep 2016 16:22:51
